Why Didn’t the Media Notice Joe Biden’s ‘Jet Lag’ Sooner?

Addressing questions from reporters at the White House on Wednesday, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre once again attributed President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance to jet lag following travel and a cold.

“He had a schedule that was rigorous, the travel he had to do, going from Italy all the way to the west coast,” said Jean-Pierre. “I think, that can have a toll on anyone, whether you’re 20 or 80.”

Most people don’t get to travel in as much relative comfort as the president of the United States—there’s a bed on Air Force One, after all—but yes, it’s true that travel can be exhausting. To be clear, however, the debate took place a full 12 days after Biden had returned from his trip. Moreover, the fact that the President of the United States is such a demanding job is precisely why voters are so worried about Biden’s advanced age.

The reporters in the room, to their credit, were unimpressed by Jean-Pierre’s attempt to spin the situation and pressed her to address the public’s mounting concerns about Biden’s fitness for office. Several elected Democrats and prominent spokespersons for the party, including Julián Castro and Tim Ryan, have called on Biden to drop out. The Atlantic, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, and several of its columnists think he should exit the race. And most importantly, support for Biden is cratering: 74 percent of overall voters now say he is too old to be president, and former President Donald Trump has widened his lead substantially. Vice President Kamala Harris now polls two points better against Trump than Biden does, though Trump is still ahead of her.

But why did it take so long for the mainstream media to pursue this line of inquiry, even as evidence of Biden’s cognitive decline became increasingly obvious? Well before the debate, the American people have consistently expressed a high degree of concern about the president’s ability to serve a second term. Polls dating back to February found that a majority of Democrats and three-quarters of overall voters had serious qualms.

One sentence slipped out in Jill Biden’s recent ‘Vogue’ interview that reveals the plot…

Many are asking, “Who’s really running the White House? Who’s in charge?” While it’s a complex question with likely many layers—including a potential top spot for Barry Obama—the day-to-day operations seem to be under the control of Jill Biden. While she’s portrayed as a simple “school principal,” she’s now seemingly playing “president,” while her incapacitated husband licks ice cream cones and wanders aimlessly. And now, a very telling line in Jill’s recent Vogue interview says it all, giving us a peek behind that “magic” Biden curtain.

However, we can go farther back to see Jill’s “magical touch” in the United States and beyond. Who can forget this image, showing a hardworking Jill sitting at the presidential desk on Air Force One?

This is when we found out Jill is a “foreign policy expert” who is making key decisions.

The New York Post:

A few months after her husband took office, Jill Biden posted on social media a photo of herself sitting at a desk aboard Air Force One looking very important.

“Prepping for the G7,” she wrote on her @FLOTUS “US Government Official” account, under the photo in which a scholarly “Dr. Jill,” wearing reading glasses, pen in hand, is studying a thick ring binder of notes.

A flight jacket with the presidential seal is draped over the back of the chair, to leave you in no doubt about the power behind the throne.

As the 72-year-old wife of the oldest president in history, the effrontery of this spousal usurper on her first overseas trip was a portent of liberties to come.

Three years later, as her husband, now 81, grows increasingly befuddled, Dr. Jill is stepping up, doing solo campaign visits and TV appearances, weighing in on politics and polls as if it were she who is running for office.

And now we hear that the first lady has been pressuring her husband on Israel’s war on Hamas with these words: “Stop it. Stop it now, Joe.”

At a Ramadan event at the White House last week, Joe Biden reportedly told attendees about Jill’s sophisticated geopolitical advice.

Biden’s Latest Excuse For Why His Debate Performance Was So Bad Gets Debunked Instantly

Biden has attributed his lackluster debate performance to exhaustion from foreign travel, despite taking a week off ahead of it to rest.

The president said he nearly “fell asleep” during Thursday’s debate against Trump, claiming his globe-trotting schedule as a major factor.

The New York Post, however, has called foul on this bizarre claim.

The outlet reported that Biden had 13 days to recover before the debate, including a week at Camp David with afternoon naps.

Biden Advisors Leak Damning Details Of Mental Decline To NY Times

The New York Times published an article Tuesday quoting sources within Biden’s own camp who revealed that his mental lapses are worsening and that they had to factor in naps to his debate prep because he was struggling to operate.

The article notes that insiders say Biden has appeared “confused or listless, or would lose the thread of conversations” over the past few months, and that he often has an expression of “blank-stared confusion.”

It adds that “in interviews, people in the room with him more recently said that the lapses seemed to be growing more frequent, more pronounced and more worrisome.”

“The uncomfortable occurrences were not predictable, but seemed more likely when he was in a large crowd or tired after a particularly bruising schedule,” the article continues.

The piece adds that during a Juneteenth event, where Biden appeared particularly out of it, “One person who sat close to the president said that he had a “dazed and confused” expression during much of the event.”

Press Repeatedly Demands To Know If Biden Has Dementia During Briefing

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre, holding her first proper press briefing for two weeks, was bombarded with questions from reporters repeatedly demanding to know whether Joe Biden is mentally ill.

Jean Pierre became visibly agitated as the reporters from The Independent, Fox News, CBS, CNN, ABC, Reuters, AP, Bloomberg, Newsmax, and NBC one by one asked the same question.

Andrew Feinberg from the Independent asked why Biden can’t speak directly to reporters and why he never says anything that isn’t on an auto cue or scripted.

KJP dodged the question, claiming Biden has done hundreds of unscripted interviews.

“I’m going to ask something delicate and you may not like it. The President may not like to hear it if he’s watching but I think the American people need a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer. Does President Biden, at 81 years old, have Alzheimer’s, any form of dementia, or degenerative illness that may cause these sorts of lapses?” Feinberg followed up.

Pelosi Suddenly Declares It’s Legitimate To Question Biden’s Mental State

A big shift is happening within the Democratic Party.

Nancy Pelosi is now declaring that it is perfectly legitimate to question Joe Biden’s mental health, just days after putting Biden’s debate debacle down to a “bad night,” and repeatedly asserting Biden is cognitively sharp.

On Sunday, Pelosi told CNN’s Dana Bash that Biden “has the stamina” to carry on in the race and that it is really Donald Trump who is suffering from dementia.

Fast forward two days to Tuesday and Pelosi is telling MSNBC “I think it’s a legitimate question to say, is this an episode or is this a condition?” referring to Biden’s mental ability.

Use ‘parent’s sibling’ instead of ‘uncle’: Biden’s Department of the Interior releases ‘Inclusive Language Guide’

The Department of the Interior has released a 24-page guide instructing bureaucrats to use “inclusive language” to prevent and combat discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation. The guide instructs individuals to avoid using gendered terms like “uncle” or “aunt” and to use “parent’s sibling” instead.

Obtained by the Daily Wire, the guide suggested using inclusive, bias-free language and provided a list of over 100 terms as alternatives to gender-specific terms. For instance, it recommended replacing “husband” and “wife” with “spouse,” “partner,” or “significant other,” and using “flight deck” instead of “cockpit.” It also suggested referring to the “different sex” rather than the “opposite sex” and describing a “gay” person as an “LGBTQIA+ person.”

The Long Sordid Career of Creepy Joe Biden

I get complaints from people that I concentrate too much on Donald Trump. Basically, the message is, “But what about Biden?” I do write more about Trump, because he’s the face of the perceived opposition. The only Emmanuel Goldstein in town. I assume everyone reading me understands just who and what Joe Biden is.

But people might not remember quite everything about Joe Biden’s lengthy career as a beloved resident of the Washington, D.C. swamp that Trump promised to drain. Biden was first elected as a U.S. Senator from Delaware in 1973. Even I was very young then. In 1981, the great “liberal” senator strongly supported the Intelligence Identities Protection Act, passed in the wake of CIA whistleblower Philip Agee’s disclosures about the Agency is his best-selling book Inside the Company. Biden declared that “I do not think anybody has any doubt about Mr. Agee. We should lock him away in my opinion.” The good senator really liked locking people up, it seems. As a strong supporter of the 1986 Anti-Drug Abuse Act, he took credit for a draconian provision that mandated a five year sentence for possessing small amounts of crack cocaine.

Little did Biden know that, decades later his own troubled son Hunter would be caught with enough crack cocaine to garner a long prison sentence under the original 1986 Act, which was softened a bit in 2010. With every ounce of “liberal” ardor that he could muster, Biden bragged at the time, “If you have a piece of crack cocaine no bigger than this quarter that I’m holding in my hand, one quarter of one dollar, we passed a law — with leadership of Sen. Thurmond and myself and others — a law that says: you’re caught with that, you go to jail for five years. You get no probation, you get nothing, other than five years in jail. Judge doesn’t have a choice.” Senator Biden also authored the horrendous 1994 crime bill which featured “three strike you’re out” and mandatory sentencing, significantly increasing the prison population.

A JFK assassination researcher attended a Joe Biden seminar in 2005. He was able to briefly question Biden about the assassination. As recounted on a discussion forum, this was the short conversation: “Senator Biden, do you believe JFK was killed as a result of a conspiracy?” Answer:  “No.” “So do you believe that Lee Harvey Oswald, alone and unaided, killed President Kennedy?” Answer:  “Yes.” This is hardly surprising, of course, but reflects Biden’s ironclad establishment mindset. In 2019, the American Prospect published a piece headlined, “Joe Biden’s Love Affair With the CIA.” Biden was very helpful to Reagan’s CIA Director William Casey, who praised him in a classified early 1980s memo to his intelligence staff. Biden would state, in a speech at Stanford, that the intelligence community had been compromised by leaks.

DHS GIVES FAITH-BASED INSTITUTIONS AND NONPROFITS $160M

Today, the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it will distribute $160 million in Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) funds as a first tranche of additional funding that the Biden-Harris Administration secured to protect faith-based institutions and nonprofit organizations against targeted attacks. The announcement accompanies DHS’s release of an amended Notice of Funding Opportunity that will now enable qualifying institutions and organizations to apply for these additional NSGP funds.

The $160 million in additional funds are a portion of the $390 million that were included in the fiscal year 2024 National Security Supplemental, a key priority of the Administration as it continues to intensify its efforts to combat the dramatic increase in hate crimes and other forms of targeted violence against faith-based institutions and nonprofit organizations. In total for fiscal year 2024, the Administration has secured $664 million for the NSGP, more than double last year’s $305 million appropriation. Earlier this year, DHS announced $274.5 million in available NGSP funds and intends to make the balance of those funds available later this year.

“We have seen a dramatic increase in hate crimes and other forms of violence targeted against faith-based institutions and nonprofit organizations,” said Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas. “The additional Nonprofit Security Grant Program funding that we are announcing today will provide these institutions and organizations with much-needed resources to strengthen their security and protect their communities from harm.”

The rise in hate crimes and other forms of targeted violence has increased sharply since the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks against Israel. In light of the changing threat environment, the Nonprofit Security Grant Program has become a more important resource to faith-based institutions and nonprofit organizations to strengthen their security posture. In 2023, over 2,200 faith-based and other nonprofit organizations utilized over $305 million in NSGP funding to purchase security cameras, developing evacuation plans, additional warnings and alert systems, gates and lighting, access control systems, and training programs for staff.

White House Staffers Working Overtime To Shield Biden

White House staffers are working “meticulously” behind the scenes to cover the extent of Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive decline, according to a new report from The New York Post.

The Post reports that staffers doing everything they can to ensure the President operates within his “good hours” of 10am to 4pm and avoids situations where he is liable to make embarrassing gaffes.

As well as his worsening mental state, which was on full display during Thursday night’s dismal debate, Biden’s physical state is also deteriorating. Footage of the President being carefully guided off the debate stage by his wife, Dr Jill Biden, has generated widespread comment on social media in the last few days.

According to The Post, the President wears orthopedic shoes and has undergone a regimen of physical therapy to treat his growing stiffness.

“I know many of these people and how the White House operates,” said Chandler West, the former deputy director of photography under Biden, in an Instagram story after the debate.

“They will say he has a ‘cold’ or just experienced a ‘bad night,’ but for weeks and months, in private, they have all said what we saw last night—Joe is not as strong as he was just a couple of years ago,” West said.

“The debate was not the first bad day, and it’s not gonna be the last.”

“It’s time for Joe to go.”

The clamor for Biden to make way for a fitter, younger candidate is growing. The New York Times offered a devastating editorial on Biden’s chances of success and called for him to withdraw from the presidential race for the good of the party and the nation.

A snap CNN poll, taken minutes after the debate, showed that 67% of viewers believed Trump won. A more recent poll suggests that nearly three-quarters of registered voters, or 72%, believe Biden is mentally unfit for the job.
