Mamdani Furious After Judge Orders Deportation of NYC City Council Employee

The nerve of a judge to deport an illegal immigrant who held the lofty status of a staff member for the New York City Council has left New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani in high dudgeon.

Rafael Andres Rubio Bohorquez, a data analyst for the council, will be deported to Venezuela. The Department of Homeland Security said Rubio overstayed his 2017 tourist visa, has an arrest for assault, and does not possess work authorization, CBS News noted.

Mamdani argued his version of reality should take precedence over the law.

“Today, an administrative immigration judge ordered the deportation of Rafael Rubio, a City Council employee. This is an affront to justice,” Mamdani posted on X.

“A dedicated public servant with legal authorization to remain in the country, Rafael showed up for a routine immigration appointment and, despite following the rules, he was detained and has now been held for months. He should be immediately released,” Mamdani wrote.

Dem Senate Candidate Talarico Says He’d Oppose Mullin for DHS, Calls Illegal Alien Students ‘Most Patriotic’

During an interview in Dallas, Texas, Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico said he would vote against Sen. Markwayne Mullin’s nomination to lead the Department of Homeland Security, saying he would oppose any nominee unwilling to dismantle Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which he called a “secret police force.”

Appearing on The Bulwark Podcast with host Tim Miller, Talarico was asked directly, “Would you vote against Markwayne Mullin for a cabinet position?” He responded, “I would be a no on any potential secretary who is not willing to tear down this secret police force and replace it with an agency that’s actually focused on public safety.”

Talarico elaborated on his position by referencing his background, stating, “Before I was a politician, I was a public school teacher in San Antonio, Texas, on the west side of the city, and I taught a lot of undocumented students, and those students tended to be my most patriotic students.” He continued, “They understood something about this country that a lot of us who are native born forget: that this is supposed to be the land of opportunity, that this is supposed to be the place where dreams come true.”

He characterized those students as having “believed in this country, even when this country didn’t believe in them,” and argued that current enforcement actions are harmful, saying, “The fact that we have the most powerful politicians in the country terrorizing my former students and their families—people who work hard every day to contribute to this economy and to this country—to me, is immoral. It’s unconscionable. It’s unacceptable, and it has to end.”

Talarico also outlined what he described as an alternative approach to immigration enforcement, stating, “We should be cracking down on the cartels, not our communities. We should be deporting gang members, not small business owners. We should be hunting down human traffickers, not moms and babies.” He added that “Both parties have failed us on this issue over the last 30 years,” including “the failures of my party” and “the failures of the Biden administration.” He said those failures “opened the door to this extremism” and led to “masked men and unmarked vehicles kidnapping people off our street.”

He concluded: “Texans and Americans are just looking for leaders who are going to hold two things in their mind at once, being pro immigrant and pro security. We’ve been told those are mutually exclusive, and they’re not.”

Rewriting Revolutionary History: Is Jamie Raskin Even Capable of Honesty?

The late Scott Adams had a way of describing a certain group of Democratic operatives and lawmakers that seemed fitting as I watched and rewatched an exchange between Representatives Jim Jordan and Jamie Raskin.

Adams said that while all Democrats lie, there is a small group of them who seem to assume the mantle of tier-one fibbers. These are the ones who are capable of saying the most verifiably dishonest things, and do so with a straight face that makes it look like even they believe what they are saying.

I believe Jamie Raskin may have been among them (I’m not 100% sure), along with Eric Swalwell, Ilhan Omar, James Clapper, and John Brennan, and perhaps others.

The reason such a group exists, Adams theorized, was that, in order for Democrats and the legacy media to make some of their most outlandish hoaxes stick, they needed a special group of people who can convincingly say something that is completely untrue and just keep repeating it until the public starts to think it is true.

Adams observed that you never hear from these people all at once, but when it’s their turn, they step in like a designated hitter and slug away with their fabrications.

I thought of Adams’ comments when I saw Raskin in action at a hearing conducted by the House’s Subcommittee on Constitution and Limited Government on March 18. That’s when he claimed that Thomas Paine, the founding father and author of “Common Sense,” was an “undocumented immigrant.”

HERE IT IS: Schumer Slips, Admits Illegal Aliens Vote in US Elections

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Wednesday admitted that illegal aliens vote in US elections.

Schumer made the admission during a marathon debate on the SAVE America Act on the Senate floor.

“The core of the bill is handing the voter rolls over to DHS, putting them through an algorithm designed by… Musk that knocks – supposedly knocks out illegal immigrants from voting – but the evidence is that almost no illegal immigrants vote!” Schumer said.

Shouldn’t Schumer be outraged by even one illegal immigrant vote that steals the vote of an American citizen?

The US Senate on Tuesday voted to advance the SAVE America Act in a 51-48 vote.

Earlier Tuesday, it was reported that allies of President Donald Trump are reportedly preparing to “take over the Senate floor” today to push for action on the SAVE America Act.

A marathon debate on the SAVE America Act is now underway.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump has already threatened to withhold his signature from all future legislation until the Senate delivers proof-of-citizenship voting requirements, strict voter ID, and an end to the Democrat-favorite mail-in ballot fraud machine.

Unfortunately, the SAVE America Act has stalled because it requires 60 votes in the Senate, and unless the filibuster is nuked, the measure is dead on arrival.

DOJ official Harmeet Dhillon said illegal aliens are registered to vote and they are voting.

“The review of 50–60 million voter records has revealed there are thousands of ineligible and outdated registrations—including non-citizens,” Harmeet said.

“Some of them voted. More to come!” Harmeet said on Tuesday.

Obama Judge Orders Release of Four-Time Deported Illegal Alien MS-13 Gang Member with History of Rape

Another day, another far-left activist judge.

US District Judge Susan Nelson, an Obama appointee, ordered the release of a four-time deported MS-13 gang member from El Salvador with a history of rape.

In January, ICE arrested Carlos Antonio Flores-Miguel during a raid in Minnesota.

“Today in Minnesota, ICE arrested Carlos Flores Miguel — a four-time-deported criminal, illegal alien, convicted sex offender, and assailant of federal law enforcement,” ICE said in January.

Judge Nelson ordered ICE to release Carlos Flores-Miguel, according to Fox News.

Fox News reported:

A federal judge has ordered federal immigration authorities to release an illegal immigrant gang member with multiple unlawful entries into the United States and whose criminal history includes rape and robbery, Fox News Digital has learned.

Earlier this month, U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson, an Obama appointee, ordered the release of Carlos Antonio Flores-Miguel, an MS-13 gang member from El Salvador, from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said.

“This activist, Obama-appointed judge RELEASED Carlos Antonio Flores-Miguel, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador and MS-13 gang member, from ICE Custody,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “Releasing violent criminals is inexcusably reckless and now this criminal will be able to perpetrate more crimes against innocent Americans.”

Two Nicaraguan Illegal Aliens Who Entered US on Biden’s Open Border Invitation Arrested Following Machete Attack at Florida Laundromat

Although President Trump sealed the border upon resuming office in January 2025, the previous four years under Biden have taken a toll.

Millions of illegals invaded the US, many of them being dangerous criminals with violent histories.

Two men from Nicaragua, who came into the US under Biden, were arrested in Florida after a machete attack, according to police.

The violent attack happened in the city of Arcadia on February 22nd. ICE confirmed they were, in fact, illegally in the United States.

Officers with the Arcadia Police Department responded to a call at SuperMatt Laundry and found a man who had a wound from what appeared to have been caused by a machete.

Border Hawk Exclusive Report:

A pair of Nicaraguan men who were unleashed into the U.S. by the Biden regime are in custody following a machete attack in Florida, authorities say.

The disturbing incident unfolded in Arcadia on Feb. 22, but Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) just confirmed the statuses of both suspects with Border Hawk this week.

The Arcadia Police Department (APD) said officers responded to a reported physical disturbance at SuperMatt Laundry where they found a male victim suffering from a “significant laceration consistent with a machete wound.”

Both suspects fled, but they were tracked by the DeSoto County Sheriff and the Arcadia Police and were arrested during a traffic stop.

29-year-old Rafael Hurtado-Martinez and 33-year-old Yeri Flores-Salgado were charged with aggravated battery with the use of a deadly weapon.

Both suspects are in the US illegally. It was reported that Rafael Hurtado-Martinez is currently in custody with ICE in Louisiana.

Yeri Flores-Salgado has been on probation for five years, going back to March 2025, for property damage and vehicle theft, which are both felonies.

Both illegal aliens came to the US through the southern border and were released into the US under the Biden regime’s catch-and-release policy.

Yeri Flores-Salgado is still in custody at Desoto County Jail, without bond, for violating his probation.

When Do Protest Observers Become Lawbreaking Participants?

When an ICE agent shot and killed Minneapolis resident Renee Good after she allegedly obstructed immigration authorities with her vehicle, disobeyed their commands, and attempted to flee – drawing fatal fire from an officer nearly struck by the vehicle – politicians and pundits decried her death as murder. They called it particularly unjust because she was not acting as a protester but a legal observer.

After federal agents arrested Don Lemon for allegedly disrupting a St. Paul church service in protest of the same Twin Cities immigration enforcement surge Good had opposed. His lawyer defended the former CNN anchor as a journalist, persecuted by the Trump administration for having carried out “constitutionally protected work” in violation of his First Amendment rights.  So too did myriad media organizations ranging from the National Association of Black Journalists to the Committee to Protect Journalists.

While Good’s shooting presents a distinct issue, her case and Lemon’s highlight the complex legal issues surrounding those who claim to be chronicling protests. Legal observers and journalists have long worked on the frontlines of civil unrest, the former documenting instances of alleged police misconduct in violation of constitutional rights to peaceably assemble, and the latter chronicling the assemblies. Their efforts have brought transparency and accountability. But what happens when legal observers and journalists act, or are seen by authorities as unlawful protestors rather than the neutral parties they are supposed to be? To what degree do their titles afford them special protections from prosecution in a court of law?

These questions have been brought into sharp relief as the Trump administration has brought hundreds of cases against people whom it alleges have not merely monitored but participated in illegal actions impacting immigration enforcement operations.

We respect the First Amendment and the right to peacefully protest,” a DOJ spokesperson told RealClearInvestigations, but “journalists and observers are not provided special protections to obstruct law enforcement operations.”

Northwestern University Law Professor Steven Lubet, who has criticized the Trump administration’s approach to immigration, concurred that legal observers “have no special legal status,” nor do journalists have “license to engage in violence or disruption.” But, he added, “law enforcement authorities should have a heavy burden to show that a journalist…or legal observer…had overstepped their role.”

Although it did not respond to a request for comment, the American Civil Liberties Union has litigated against federal law enforcement authorities in connection with ICE’s activities in Minnesota. It argues that the government is violating the “constitutional rights” of people “observing, documenting, and protesting ICE activity in their neighborhoods.”

Like so many issues, the very nature of protest and the definitions of legal observers and journalists have come into question during the Trump years. America has a long history of protest, but the anti-ICE protests are different. Typically, protestors have engaged in somewhat organized demonstrations, with law enforcement responding if there is violence or property damage. But residents of Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and other sanctuary jurisdictions to which the second Trump administration has surged ICE agents have turned this dynamic on its head by arriving at the scene in response to law enforcement actions, and sometimes challenging such efforts.

It is hard to distinguish protestor from legal observer as many self-described ICE-watchers pursue officers in their cars and approach them during encounters – often times with phone in hand to record the events, and, they claim, to deter misconduct. Alex Pretti, an armed man who was killed by border patrol agents in Minneapolis after appearing to come to the assistance of another protestor, had been filming the scene before his deadly encounter. While he was widely described as a legal observer, just a few days prior, he had kicked in the taillight of an ICE vehicle, raising the murky issue of whether one can toggle back and forth between protester and observer depending on the circumstances.

DOJ Probe Uncovers Tens of Thousands of Noncitizens on Voter Rolls — Dozens of Illegal Aliens Cast Ballots

A stunning new federal review of voter registration lists has uncovered tens of thousands of noncitizens, hundreds of thousands of dead registrants, and widespread duplicate registrations, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

The bombshell findings were disclosed by Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon during an interview with Just the News.

This is the LARGEST federal check of voter rolls in American history, and it comes straight from the Trump DOJ’s aggressive push for real election integrity.

The investigation, which currently covers 16 states that voluntarily provided voter registration data, is already revealing serious problems in the nation’s election infrastructure.

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dead voters still active. TENS OF THOUSANDS of noncitizens — some illegal — sitting on the rolls ready to vote. And that’s only from 16 states so far.

“We’re finding tens of thousands of noncitizens on the voter rolls, hundreds of thousands of dead people on the voter rolls, and duplicate registrations between states,” Dhillon said during an interview on Just the News, No Noise.

Federal investigators say dozens of noncitizens have already been proven to have cast ballots in federal elections.

The Justice Department is now pursuing 29 additional states through lawsuits to obtain their voter registration records and determine whether they are complying with federal law.

As The Gateway Pundit has reported for years on dirty voter rolls and stolen elections, this is exactly the systemic rot we’ve been screaming about while Democrats and weak-kneed Republicans pretended everything was fine.

Hawaiian Dem Rep Brags It Was ‘Easy’ to Put Illegal Aliens Ahead of Taxpaying Americans

Democratic Rep. Jill Tokuda addressed a question from a constituent during a public discussion about her decision not to stand during a moment at the State of the Union when members of Congress were asked to show support for a statement about prioritizing American citizens.

The exchange occurred after a constituent identified as Arlene asked Tokuda to explain why she remained seated during the moment.

Arlene referenced a question posed during the address in which lawmakers were asked to stand if they supported a specific statement about the role of the U.S. government.

“State of the Union last month, there was a question from the president asked of all the congressional members in the audience, and they asked everyone to stand if they were in agreement with this statement,” Arlene said.

She continued by quoting the statement presented to members of Congress during the address.

“And the statement was the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens. I’m quoting that, and I noticed you did not stand, and I’d like to know your reasoning, why you did not stand?”

Tokuda responded to the question by thanking the constituent and explaining the reasoning behind her decision during the event.

‘Heinous’ thug accused of shoving 83-year-old military vet onto NYC subway tracks was deported 4 times, charged 15 times: DHS

The “heinous” male accused of shoving an 83-year-old military veteran off a New York City subway station platform and onto the train tracks last weekend was deported four times and has 15 prior charges on his record, the Department of Homeland Security said.

DHS on Thursday added that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has asked New York authorities not to release illegal alien suspect Bairon Posada-Hernandez, whom Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis called a “heinous” and “serial criminal” who “should never have been able to walk our streets and harm innocent Americans.”

Posada-Hernandez was arrested for attempted murder Tuesday in connection with Sunday’s incident, during which he also allegedly pushed a 30-year-old man onto the subway train tracks, the agency said.

DHS said ICE on Tuesday placed a detainer on Posada-Hernandez, a Honduran national. Bis added that “DHS is calling upon New York sanctuary politicians to commit to this ICE detainer.”
