Illegal-alien Crime Is Higher Than Many Think — and Is HIDDEN by Authorities

In 1994, famed-radio-host-to-be Michael Savage, an epidemiologist by training, wrote a manuscript titled Immigrants and Epidemics. In it, he pointed out that illegal aliens were bringing dangerous diseases into the United States. Yet despite Savage having long been a successful, published author, the work was rejected. The powers-that-be wanted such truths suppressed. And it appears, too, that the same cover-up is occurring with illegal-alien crime.

As with Savage’s deep-sixed sagacity, this is not a new story. But it is getting renewed attention. As American Thinker (AT) wrote last Thursday:

Every day, all over America, illegal aliens, legal immigrants, and naturalized Americans from a rogue’s list of countries to our South and from the Middle East kill, rape, rob, and defraud us, almost with impunity. Yet, if you try to prove it by citing reliable government statistics, you can’t. The left works hard — it may be its most important job — to ensure you can’t find out exactly how bad things really are across America.

The bottom line: almost no states or the federal government track crimes using reliable indicators of someone’s country of origin, immigration status, or citizenship status.

In fact, AT points out, many Democrat-run states have actually enacted laws prohibiting such data’s collection. They don’t want the public to know the reality of illegal-alien crime.

Their rationale is no mystery. Upon being naturalized, today’s immigrants vote Democratic by healthy margins. As for illegal aliens, they’d break Democratic by an even greater percentage upon achieving legal status. (It has been established, too, that such people sometimes cast votes even while illegal.) Moreover, illegals also count as U.S. population during censuses. They thus serve to give the states in which they’re squatting more representation in Congress — and hence more power. And they’re concentrated in Democratic-run states, with leftists purposely attracting them via the carrot of taxpayer-funded largesse.

In a nutshell, statists use illegal migration to import an electoral army that will grow their power. And they don’t want their army put in any kind of bad light.

There is, however, at least one state that does keep comprehensive records on illegal-alien crime: Texas. And by extrapolating its data, we can glean insight into the problem’s nationwide magnitude. More on that momentarily.

Signs of the Crimes

On the micro level, that magnitude’s indicators are everywhere. For example, it was just reported that in Fairfax County, Virginia, 75 percent of this year’s murders have been committed by illegals. The problem predates 2026, too. As Red Right Daily reports:

Fairfax County has seen a series of violent crimes over several years involving individuals identified by federal authorities as being in the country illegally. The cases are serious — murders, gang-related killings, domestic violence, repeat offenders.

Then, in April 2025, Fox News informed that in New York City,

206 illegal immigrants, the majority of whom have “egregious criminal histories to include manslaughter, rape, assault, drug trafficking and sex assault against minors,” were apprehended as part of [a federal operation].

Next, in 2024, City Journal told us that

after years of a migrant border “surge” — with countless asylum-seekers inadequately vetted and then allowed to enter the U.S. — state law-enforcement agencies now warn that immigrant gangs have seized control of many drug- and human-trafficking networks and have unleashed robbery sprees across the nation.

And last year, The New American reported that during Donald Trump’s second administration’s first 100 days, 66,000 illegals were removedSeventy-fivepercent were dangerous criminals, too. Even now, with deportation numbers at approximately 600,000, about 40-60 percent of the expelled had criminal convictions or pending charges.

New Homeland Security Secretary Cracks Down on Sanctuary Cities

What we are now witnessing with sanctuary cities is not simply a political disagreement, it is the breakdown of the rule of law at the structural level. The federal government is now openly questioning whether it should continue providing core services, including customs processing at international airports, to cities that refuse to comply with federal immigration law.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin has made that position clear in direct terms, stating, “If they are a sanctuary city, should they really be processing customs into their city?” and further pressing the issue by pointing out the contradiction, “If they’re a sanctuary city and they’re receiving international flights… but once they walk out of the airport, they’re not going to enforce immigration policy?”

Sanctuary cities are, by definition, jurisdictions that limit cooperation with federal enforcement, effectively creating a dual system of governance within the same country. Once you reach that point, you are no longer dealing with a unified legal framework, you are dealing with fragmentation.

Mullin has also made it clear that the federal government is being forced into difficult decisions, stating that “we’re going to have to start prioritizing things at some point” as funding battles intensify. That statement is critical because it signals a shift from negotiation to enforcement.

This is precisely the type of breakdown that unfolds during periods of broader systemic stress. The sovereign debt crisis, rising geopolitical tensions, and internal political divisions are all converging at the same time, and governments respond to that pressure by attempting to reassert control.

Sanctuary cities represent a direct challenge to that control, and the response is now escalating accordingly. The implications extend far beyond immigration because once the federal government begins selectively withdrawing services, whether it is funding, enforcement, or infrastructure support, it creates a chain reaction. Major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco are not isolated municipalities, they are economic hubs that handle millions of international travelers and billions in trade. Any disruption to customs operations alone would ripple through tourism, supply chains, and business activity, amplifying economic pressure at a time when the system is already under strain.

This is where the situation becomes dangerous because it introduces a new layer of uncertainty into the economy. Businesses and capital do not respond well to fragmented legal systems or political conflict between levels of government. Capital flows toward stability, and when stability is questioned, it begins to move. That is the core principle that has driven every major financial shift throughout history.

Maria Salazar Suggests Republicans Pass ‘DIGNIDAD’ Amnesty for Illegal Aliens to Prove They Are Not Racist

Rep. Maria Salazar (R-FL) says Republicans ought to pass her “DIGNIDAD Act,” a broad amnesty scheme allowing millions of illegal aliens to remain in the United States while hugely expanding legal immigration levels, to prove to Democrats that they are not racist.

“It’s impossible if we, the Republicans, put together a bill like this one on the floor, for any Democrat with Hispanics, supposedly you know ‘Hispanics belong to the Democrats.’ No, not anymore, because right now we’re going to be demonstrating to the Dems that we are not such a bunch of racists, that we are giving them dignity, not citizenship,” Salazar told Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade on his radio show.

“This is the future of the Republican Party. Everyone knows that the coalition … we’re a part of the coalition that put Trump into the White House,” Salazar continued. “He says it himself. ‘I won the seven swing states, and four them, the Hispanics put me over the top and I won the popular vote.’ He’s the guy, that’s why I’m saying, ‘Hey, Mr. President, you have to sign this bill.’”

Florida Cops Pull Dozens of Truck Drivers from Roads – Including Illegal Aliens With ‘Literally No Name’

Florida authorities announced that they recently conducted an enforcement crackdown for commercial trucks, resulting in 176 drivers being removed from service — and a few dozen immigration arrests.

Over the course of four days, Florida Highway Patrol and other agencies examined over 3,300 vehicles, according to a report from WKMG.

They observed many safety issues and tried to resolve them.

“The most dangerous things we see are cracked brakes and broken airlines,” Major Tom Pikul of Florida Highway Patrol told the outlet.

“If there is an air release in a brake line, they have no brakes.”

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Mark Glass meanwhile said that authorities came across serious identification issues.

“Some of the driver’s licenses that we would find wouldn’t even have a name on the CDL — literally no name,” he revealed.

Climate Organization Behind Anti-ICE Protests Is Leading May 1 School Walkout Plan, Parent Group Reports

One of the main organizations behind the recent protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations is encouraging children to walk out of class en masse next month to help promote its agenda, which includes achieving what it said are “Eco-socialism, [a] multi-racial democracy, and Green New Deal legislation,” according to a April 8 report by representatives of parent group Defending Education.

The Sunrise Movement, during its March 17 online membership meeting, called on schools to “train up” employees and students to disrupt the federal government ahead of planned May 1 “May Day” protests as part of an ongoing “political revolution” to “structurally change the foundations of this country,” according to slides Defending Education, a nonprofit opposing indoctrination in classrooms, obtained from a tipster who attended the meeting.

The Sunrise Movement, according to the slides and its website, describes itself as an anti-President Donald Trump “climate revolution” group that advocates socialism, supports a rainbow coalition of the multi-racial working class, and calls for an end to the “billionaire” two-party political system.

In addition to mass school walkouts, the organization is also calling for more disruptions to Hilton hotels, which have housed ICE officers, according to the slides. Past actions included calling for boycotts of the hotel chain and engaging in “wide awake” events where protestors gathered outside of Hilton-branded hotels and made as much noise as possible to prevent ICE officers—and everyone else staying there—from sleeping.

Another slide illustrates a domino effect that starts with the ideological conversion of students and young people and spreads to teachers, customer service workers, city service workers, factory service workers, shipping and transportation workers, and ultimately “military and police defections.”

“They have zero reservations about using children to advance their political ideology,” Rhyen Staley, Defending Education research director, told The Epoch Times. “These kids are being used for their propaganda.”

New York Times Downplays Savage Hammer Murder of Mother to Attack Trump, Doesn’t Include That Killer Was an Illegal Alien from Haiti

The New York Times is under fire for its coverage of the savage hammer murder of a mother in Florida by a Haitian illegal alien, downplaying the heinous crime, shielding his immigration status, and complaining about President Donald Trump’s reaction instead.

The article, while blasting Trump for “disparaging comments about Haitian immigrants,” used softened language to describe the crime and did not mention the killer’s illegal status even once.

On April 3, 40-year-old Rolbert Joachin, a Haitian national who entered the United States illegally, brutally murdered 51-year-old Nilufar Yasmin outside a Chevron gas station in Fort Myers, Florida, where she worked as a clerk.

Surveillance video captured Joachin smashing the windshield of Yasmin’s car with a hammer before she confronted him. He then repeatedly struck her in the head with the weapon, bludgeoning her to death in broad daylight.

Authorities said the attack was calculated, and Joachin later told detectives he went to the gas station specifically to kill her.

Public Attorneys Doing Way More For Illegal Migrants Than You Might Think

Criminal migrants across the country are increasingly avoiding deportation thanks to an unlikely source: public attorneys using local taxpayer dollars to represent them in immigration court.

Foreign nationals facing criminal prosecution have long been provided Supreme Court-mandated legal advice on the potential impacts of guilty pleas. However, public attorneys are more frequently representing non-citizens in deportation proceedings, sparking ethical concerns from immigration hawks who note that there’s no legal requirement for free lawyers in civil court.

“You don’t have a right to pay counsel in civil proceedings any more than you do in tenant-landlord court or divorce court,” Art Arthur, a resident fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. Arthur — who previously served as an immigration judge — highlighted how government-funding for immigration attorneys is becoming more common across the U.S.

“If they’re going to provide free counsel to respondents — which is how we refer to them in immigration court — are they providing free counsel to people facing bankruptcy, to people who are facing eviction, to people who are attempting to get out of abuse of marriages?” Arthur continued. “I got a feeling the answer that probably no.”

Mississippi Governor Set to Sign Bill Making Illegal Immigration a STATE CRIME

Mississippi has just become the latest red state to take immigration enforcement into its own hands.

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves (R) is expected to sign Senate Bill 2114 (SB 2114), which has passed both chambers of the Mississippi Legislature and is currently heading to his desk.

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves has adopted a hardline stance on illegal immigration.

He supports making illegal immigration a state crime, has backed the use of bounty hunters for deportations, and signed legislation aimed at tightening voter citizenship verification

Under SB 2114, an alien who enters or attempts to enter Mississippi directly from a foreign nation anywhere other than a lawful port of entry now faces state criminal charges, a misdemeanor with a minimum of six months in prison, escalating to felonies with up to two years or more when combined with other offenses.

If these illegal invaders are arrested for additional crimes, they’ll tack on even more serious penalties with no early release, no parole, and no games.

Adult Illegal Alien Who Groped Over a Dozen Girls “In Between Their Legs” at Fairfax, VA High School Found Guilty on Nine Assault Charges

An adult illegal alien who was charged for groping minor teen girls at a high school in Virginia was found guilty on nine assault charges on Thursday.

As reported last month, parents were outraged after an 18-year-old illegal alien groped over a dozen girls “in between their legs” at a high school in Fairfax County, Virginia.

The alien, identified as Israel Flores Ortiz, is turning 19 soon and is only in the 11th grade.

Why have authorities allowed a 19-year-old man – who is in this country illegally – to sexually assault minor teen girls in the hallways at school for several months??

“There’s a group of about 12 individuals that have reported this assault,” one mother told 7News.

“It was all perpetrated by a single individual who is a stranger to the girls. He just sneakily walked up behind them and put his hand in between their legs,” she said.

“It was not just a butt smack or a butt grab. It was a groping of a private area. It had been occurring for several months,” she added.

Biden Judge Says President Trump Cannot End Protected Status for Thousands of Ethiopians

A federal judge on Wednesday said President Trump cannot end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for thousands of Ethiopians.

In 2022, the Biden Regime allowed more than 5,000 Ethiopians to enter the US and live here with special protections.

Their TPS status was extended again in April 2024 and expired on February 13, 2026.

Upon taking office again in January 2025, President Trump immediately revoked the Biden-era ‘Temporary Protected Status’ and ordered the DHS to ensure that the TPS designations were limited.

On Wednesday US District Judge Brian Murphy, a Biden appointee, said President Trump violated the process by revoking the protections.

Judge Murphy postponed the effective date of the termination of Ethiopia’s TPS designation.
