GOP seeks to bar James Comey from federal positions

Lawmakers on the House Republican Study Committee (RSC) have proposed a resolution that aims to block former FBI Director James Comey from ever taking a role in the federal government again because of a now-deleted social media post that read “8647.”

Republicans, including President Trump, have interpreted Comey’s post of seashells on a beach on Thursday as a call to assassinate the 47th president.

The proposed House GOP resolution “urges the relevant authorities to take every relevant action to ensure that [Comey] is never again permitted to serve as an employee of the federal government” and requests the Justice Department “conduct a full and comprehensive investigation … and release the findings of that investigation to the relevant House Committees and the public.”

Comey, 64, has denied that the Instagram post was a call for Trump’s death and clarified in a follow-up statement that he “didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence.”

“It never occurred to me, but I oppose violence of any kind so I took down the post,” he wrote.

The numeral “86” is typically understood as slang for rejecting or throwing out something or someone.

But RSC Chair Rep. August Pfluger (Texas), one of the authors of the House resolution, called Comey’s social media post a “shocking betrayal of the trust once placed in him by the American people” and accused Comey of “the unthinkable: calling for violence against our Commander-in-Chief.”

“That someone who once held one of our nation’s most sacred positions of law enforcement would incite such dangerous rhetoric is not just alarming — it’s disqualifying and un-American,” Pfluger said in a statement. “This resolution demands the accountability and transparency the American people deserve, ensuring Comey never again holds a position of public trust.”

The resolution states that “Congress must take all available action to hold Director Comey accountable, preserve the rule of law, and protect our legal institutions from those that seek to sow discord and promote violence against their political opponents.”

A Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement that the agency will “vigorously investigate anything that can be taken as a potential threat against our protectees.”

SHOCKING CLAIM: Did James Comey Not Only Hint at Trump’s Assassination — But Also Send a Sinister Message Tied to 9/11, Exactly 8,647 Days Later?

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey is under federal investigation for an Instagram post that some interpret as a call to assassinate President Donald Trump.

On Thursday, the deep state operative posted a cryptic Instagram photo of seashells arranged to spell out “86 47,” with a caption that read, “Cool shell formation on my beach walk.”

But patriots and truth-seekers on social media weren’t fooled, quickly decoding the sinister message: “86” — a known slang term for “to kill” or “get rid of” — paired with “47,” a clear reference to Trump, the 47th President of the United States.

Comey deleted the post after major backlash, and he updated it with an unbelievable comment.

So Comey expects the public to believe that he, a former FBI Director, did not know the meaning of “86.”

The Secret Service, along with the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, is now investigating the matter.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem didn’t mince words, blasting Comey on X: “Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey just called for the assassination of @POTUS Trump. DHS and Secret Service is investigating this threat and will respond appropriately.”

Even Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett demanded action, posting, “Arrest Comey.”

Secret Service Issues Statement on Comey’s Trump Assassination Post

Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi issued a weak statement on James Comey’s assassination threat against President Trump.

“We vigorously investigate anything that can be taken as a potential threat against our protectees. We are aware of the social media posts by the former FBI Director & we take rhetoric like this very seriously. Beyond that, we do not comment on protective intelligence matters,” Secret Service spox Anthony Guglielmi said on X.

Protectees? James Comey – THE FORMER FBI DIRECTOR – threatened the sitting President of the United States.

James Comey created a media firestorm after he posted a cryptic message to his Instagram account on Thursday spelled out in seashells: “86 47”

“Cool shell formation on my beach walk,” Comey said in his caption.

President Trump Speaks Out on James Comey’s Chilling Message Calling for Trump’s Assassination and On Comey Making Up an Outrageous Lie Afterward

President Trump has now spoken out about wicked former FBI Director James Comey calling for his assassination via a chilling social media post.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Comey created a media firestorm after he posted a cryptic message to his Instagram account on Thursday that spelled out in seashells: “86 47”

“Cool shell formation on my beach walk,” Comey said in his caption.

The “86” is, of course, slang for killing someone, while “47” refers to Trump, who is America’s 47th President. Yes, the former director of the FBI actually posted a message calling for someone to KILL President Trump!

And Comey’s subsequent response after finally deleting his disturbing post was also outrageous and insulting.

“I posted earlier a picture of some shells I saw today on a beach walk, which I assumed were a political message, Comey wrote. “I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me, but I oppose violence of any kind, so I took the post down.”

What a horrible and wicked liar. Comey knew EXACTLY what he was doing!

During an interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier, which will air in full tonight, Trump was asked about Comey’s sick behavior and did not mince words.

Of course, Trump was not fooled by Comey’s excuse for the post. Like most intelligent Americans, he knew what Comey wanted to see happen to him.

“He knew exactly what that meant,” Trump replied. “A child knows what that meant.”

“If you’re the FBI director and you don’t know what that meant?” Trump added. “That meant assassination. And it says it loud and clear.”

’86 47′: Ex-FBI Director Comey Posts Cryptic ‘Death Threat’ Towards Trump

A recent social media update by disgraced ex-FBI Director James Comey was widely interpreted as a death threat towards President Donald Trump.

On Thursday, the disgruntled Deep Stater captioned an Instagram post, “Cool shell formation found on my beach walk,” alongside an image of shells on sand organized in the shape of the numbers, “86 47.”

“This is a call for the assassination of President Trump by the former FBI Director!” warned Trump insider Laura Loomer, with many others making the same interpretation.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) alerted FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino that Comey “is calling for President Trump to be eliminated.”

“’86’ is a term used by Antifa militants and street gangs meaning ‘kiII,’” noted journalist Nick Sortor.

FBI Has Launched 250 Probes Tied To Online Networks That Prey On Minors

The FBI has been investigating at least 250 subjects allegedly tied to violent online networks that prey on minors.

The networks, under investigation by all of the FBI’s 55 field offices, are known as “764” but have other names.

“The FBI is growing increasingly concerned about a loose network of violent predators who befriend minors and other vulnerable individuals through popular online platforms and then coerce them into escalating sexual and violent behavior,“ the FBI said in a May 8 statement to The Epoch Times, noting this includes ”pushing victims to create graphic content, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), harm family pets, cut themselves with sharp objects, or attempt suicide.”

Some of these predators even watch live-streamed self-harm and other violent content.

The FBI had issued a public service announcement on March 6, warning about “a sharp increase” in the activity of “764” and other such online networks.

In targeting minors, the bureau said, these networks “use threats, blackmail, and manipulation to coerce or extort victims into producing, sharing, or live-streaming acts of self-harm, animal cruelty, sexually explicit acts, and/or suicide.”

The footage is then circulated among members of the network to continue to extort victims and exert control over them,” it said in the March announcement.

The platforms exist on social media, gaming platforms, and mobile applications, with the victims usually being between the ages of 10 and 17, though some aged 9 have also been targeted, according to the FBI.

“These violent actors target vulnerable populations to include children, as well as those who struggle with a variety of mental health issues, such as depression, eating disorders, or suicidal ideation,” the bureau said.

Predators, they said, usually “groom their victims by first establishing a trusting or romantic relationship before eventually manipulating and coercing them into engaging in escalating harmful behavior designed to shame and isolate them.”

FBI Director Kash Patel Reveals What He Believes Happened to Jeffrey Epstein – Gives a Speculative Answer Regarding When America Will See the Epstein Files

While Kash Patel has proven to be an incredible upgrade over America’s previous FBI directors, there is still one issue where he needs to come through: the release of the Epstein files. However, his answers today did not provide a timetable, which may dismay MAGA supporters, in addition to his response regarding what happened to Jeffrey Epstein.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) revealed what may be the most damning development yet in the fight to uncover the truth behind Jeffrey Epstein’s sinister global sex-trafficking and blackmail network during an interview with Benny Johnson: the Epstein files may have already been destroyed—and the federal government might be complicit.

Comer, who has spearheaded numerous high-profile investigations into Biden family corruption and the weaponization of federal agencies, made it clear that he believes the Department of Justice no longer has the files, if it ever did. He also thinks the files have already been destroyed to cover up the deep state.

“I don’t think the Department of Justice has (the Epstein files)—or at least the Attorney General does not have them—or she would have turned them over,” Comer told Johnson. “The President ordered them released.”

“The Attorney General ordered them released. We all know they have not been released,” he added. “One of my biggest fears, which I expressed with Kash Patel and a lot of people, including Stephen Miller, going into the new administration, was this: I hope they’re not shredding documents right now. This was a few weeks before the transition.”

During today’s hearing before the Senate Appropriations Committee this morning regarding the White House budget, Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) addressed the elephant in the room and asked a few key questions on the Epstein matter. The first concerned whether Epstein really ‘killed himself,’ which is the official government narrative.

“Did Jeffrey Epstein hang himself or did somebody kill him?” Kennedy asked.

Patel said that he believed it was the former.

FBI Investigating Alarming Incidents Amid “Poor Culture Of Safety” At NIH’s High Security Pathogen Lab

The FBI launched an investigation last week into security violations at the NIH’s Integrated Research Facility at Fort Detrick following several dangerous incidents in which a contractor cut holes in an employee’s biocontainment suit designed to protect against infection from pathogens such as Ebola, according to interviews and documents viewed by The DisInformation Chronicle.

Violations of safety protocol at the research facility were uncovered by Jeffrey Taubenberger on his first day as Acting Director of the NIAID, the NIH Institute formerly run by Anthony Fauci. Fort Detrick houses multiple government germ labs, including the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases. The Army’s lab was shut down in 2009 and again in 2019, both times due to safety concerns.

Many issues have been known for months if not years and previous NIAID leadership did nothing about it,” explained an NIH official, detailing problems at the facility which was described as having a “poor culture of safety.”

Incidents in November and March occurred under the watch of NIAID Director Jeanne Marrazzowho was let go last month during a round of federal cuts. The NIH also uncovered poor documentation of select agents, with logs not matching inventory, although all missing vials have apparently been accounted for.

An NIH employee leaked an incomplete email to Wired Magazine last week which ran a story that downplayed safety breaches and accused Secretary Robert F. Kennedy of shutting the lab down as part of “the latest disruption to federal science agencies.” The article quoted Johns Hopkins researcher Gigi Gronvall complaining that the lab shut down would harm research and cost taxpayer money.

The sacrifice to research is immense,” Gigi Gronvall told Wired. “If things are unused for a period of time, it will cost more money to get them ready to be used again.”

Neo-Nazi sextortion ring that blackmails teens into making sick videos has become so prevalent every FBI office in the US has open cases

A sick neo-Nazi sextortion ring that blackmails teens into making sick videos has become so prevalent across the US that every FBI field office in the country has at least one open case on the group, according to a shocking new report.

The FBI currently has more than 250 open investigations into the group, known as “764,” among other aliases, the agency told ABC.

This cult-like network has ties to neo-Nazis and Satanism, officials said.

Its members target young teens on platforms like Discord and Roblox and intimidate them into filming themselves posing nude, torturing family pets, cutting symbols into their own bodies and other acts of “psychological torment and extreme violence,” the FBI said.

“764 is a network of nihilistic violent extremists … seeking to destroy civilized society through the corruption and exploitation of vulnerable populations, which often include minors,” the agency said.

Bradley Cadenhead founded the group in 2020 and named it after part of his own zip code.

Since then, its reach has spread throughout the United States and beyond.

All of the agency’s 55 field offices have at least one 764-related case, FBI assistant director David Scott, who leads the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, told ABC.

Attorney Ty Clevenger BLASTS FBI’s “Weak” Excuses in Seth Rich Case — Demands Congress to Haul FBI Into Hearings: “Patel and Bondi Have Allowed the FBI to Continue its Pattern of Obfuscation and Delay”

Attorney Ty Clevenger is turning up the heat on the FBI—and he’s naming names.

Clevenger has unleashed a scathing rebuke of the FBI’s ongoing stonewalling in the Seth Rich case, accusing the bureau of peddling “incredibly weak excuses” to hide thousands of critical documents that could blow the lid off the Russia collusion hoax and the mysterious 2016 murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich.

The FBI’s refusal follows a pattern of obfuscation. For years, the agency denied even possessing Seth Rich’s laptop—until Clevenger’s legal efforts forced the FBI to admit they had it all along. Yet, the agency still refuses to disclose any metadata from Seth Rich’s electronic devices.

Last month, Clevenger filed a motion in federal court to hold the FBI in contempt for what he calls a “deliberate and willful defiance” of a court order mandating the release of key information related to murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich.

After being met with silence, Clevenger fired off a blistering letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, torching the Bureau for what he says is a calculated and ongoing effort to conceal critical records about Seth Rich and bury the truth about the discredited Russia narrative.

Clevenger took to X on Tuesday, writing, “The FBI filed a response to our contempt motion in the Seth Rich case, and it raises more questions than it answers. The response offers some incredibly weak excuses for thousands of missing documents, and it contradicts some of the earlier admissions by the FBI.”

The attorney’s April 18, 2025, letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, first reported by The Gateway Pundit, laid bare the FBI’s possession of critical evidence, including Seth Rich’s work laptop, a personal laptop image, a DVD, and a tape drive—items the bureau initially denied having.

Despite court orders to review these devices, the FBI has stonewalled, offering flimsy justifications for withholding thousands of documents. Clevenger argues this is a calculated effort to protect the discredited narrative that Russian hackers, not Rich, leaked DNC emails to Wikileaks in 2016.
