Facebook ‘Content Regulation Manager’ Anna Makanju Advised Joe Biden on Ukraine

Facebook’s global policy manager for content regulation, Anna Makanju, advised Joe Biden on Ukraine policy during his time as Vice President. She also defended Biden from charges of wrongdoing with regards to Ukraine in a comment to the Washington Post last year.

Her position as a senior employee at Facebook handling content regulation may have given her an opportunity to influence the social network’s decision to suppress a New York Post story revealing that Joe Biden’s son Hunter, then on a lucrative contract with the Ukrainian energy giant Burisma, introduced the then-Vice President to an executive at the company.

This occurred less than a year before the then-VP pressured the Ukrainian government into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.

Makanju is also a fellow at the Atlantic Council, which partnered with Facebook in 2018 to promote “election integrity” around the world.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Vetoes Bill Targeting Voter Fraud

“Any suggestion that the filing of a second absentee ballot application is criminal behavior creates needless confusion and fearmongering around the absentee voting process,” wrote Whitmer. “It is bad for voters and bad for our elections.”

State Rep. Ann Bollin, a Republican who sponsored the legislation, criticized Whitmer over the veto, arguing both bills were designed to deter fraud, while enhancing confidence as voters battle “noise” regarding mail-in voting.

“This legislation would have created a felony penalty for someone who fills out an application for another person in an attempt to commit fraud,” she said. “That’s not voter intimidation – it’s voter protection.”

Kristen Welker, upcoming presidential debate moderator, has deep Democrat ties

All eyes are turning to NBC News White House correspondent Kristen Welker as she prepares to host the third and final presidential debate Thursday.

President Trump and Joe Biden will square off at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., in a 90-minute debate starting at 9 p.m.

Welker, 44, has been the White House correspondent at NBC News since 2011, after working as a news reporter in Rhode Island.

But Trump supporters who took issue with hard questioning by previous moderators like Chris Wallace and Savannah Guthrie may find themselves pining for those combative hosts after Welker is done with the president.

Welker comes from an established Democratic family — who have poured cash into party coffers, and to Trump opponents, for years.

Her mother, Julie Welker, a prominent real estate broker in Philadelphia, and father, Harvey Welker, a consulting engineer, have donated tens of thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates and close to $20,000 to Barack Obama alone.

There was also $3,300 for Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign and $2,100 for Hillary Clinton’s doomed 2016 presidential effort against Trump. Another $7,300 was contributed to the Democratic National Committee between 2004 and 2020.

Facebook and Twitter Cross a Line Far More Dangerous Than What They Censor

Even more astonishing still, Twitter locked the account of the New York Post, banning the paper from posting any content all day and, evidently, into Thursday morning. The last tweet from the paper was posted at roughly 2:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday. 

And then, on Thursday morning, the Post published a follow up article using the same archive of materials, this one purporting to detail efforts by the Vice President’s son to pursue lucrative deals with a Chinese energy company by using his father’s name. Twitter is now also banning the sharing or posting of links to that article as well.

In sum, the two Silicon Valley giants, with little explanation, united to prevent the sharing and dissemination of this article. As Los Angeles Times reporter Matt Pearce put it, “Facebook limiting distribution is a bit like if a company that owned newspaper delivery trucks decided not to drive because it didn’t like a story. Does a truck company edit the newspaper? It does now, apparently.”

Texas mayoral candidate arrested for alleged voter fraud

A Democratic candidate for mayor of Carrollton, Texas has been arrested on over 100 counts of alleged voter fraud.

The Denton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Zul Mirza Mohamed on Wednesday night, with the help of the Texas Attorney General’s Election Fraud Unit.

Mohamed was charged with 84 counts of mail ballot application fraud and 25 counts of unlawful possession of an official mail ballot.

“I strongly commend the Denton County Sheriff’s Office, the Lewisville Police Department, and Texas Department of Public Safety as well as the Denton Elections and District Attorney’s offices for their outstanding work on this case and their commitment to ensuring a free and fair Presidential election in the face of unprecedented voter fraud,” Attorney General Paxton said in a statement.

“Mail ballots are inherently insecure and vulnerable to fraud, and I am committed to safeguarding the integrity of our elections,” Paxton added. “My office is prepared to assist any Texas county in combating this form of fraud.”

Mohamed allegedly obtained a mailbox using a false identity, forged at least 84 voter registration applications for Denton residents unbeknownst to them, and had the applications sent to a fraudulent location. At the time of his arrest, Mohamed was in the process of stuffing envelopes with additional mail ballot applications for neighboring Dallas County, the Attorney General’s Office said.

Mohamed was running against the incumbent Republican Mayor Kevin Falconer, who was already expected to win reelection in Carrollton, a city located roughly one hour north of Dallas.

Democrats feign outrage and falsely claim Amy Coney Barrett used an anti-gay slur

Reasonable people, whether they share Barrett’s ideology or not, ought to dismiss this faux outrage for the partisan smear job that it is. But arguably more disturbing than the smear itself was the way that in Orwellian fashion, politically correct institutions, including the Merriam-Webster dictionary, tried to silently change the term’s definition and act as if it had always been viewed as offensive.

We should never accept such blatant attempts to twist language to control thought and retroactively condemn speech. As far as left-wing gay activists and Democrats are concerned, if the state of your “fight for human rights” is reduced to petty squabbling over minor word choice, it’s time to move on from your victimhood narrative once and for all.
