Dave Chappelle Mocks People Comparing Charlie Kirk to MLK Jr: ‘That’s a Reach’

Comedian Dave Chappelle has addressed the September murder of the Turning Point USA founder and conservative media personality Charlie Kirk in his new stand-up comedy special, The Unstoppable, saying “that’s a reach” to any comparison between the fate of Kirk and the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. in 1968.

The performer specifically took umbrage at the move by some to call Kirk, “this generation’s Martin Luther King.”

“If you talk for a living and see Charlie Kirk get murdered that way, Imma be honest, n—-: I was shook,” Chappelle said in the Netflix stand-up show. “I mean, Charlie Kirk was the wholesome white guy. And they killed this motherf—er? I said, ‘These whites…never seen ’em like this. They’re playing for keeps!’”

The comedian outlined he doesn’t know what to make of Kirk’s death. “I’m not making light of Charlie Kirk dying, but I’m not sure what it means, and I’m not sure I believe what they say it means,” he said on the special.

“I’ll tell you what I don’t believe, and the whites were quick to say this. They said, ‘Charlie Kirk is this generation’s Martin Luther King [Jr.]’ No, he’s not! Yeah, that’s a reach.”

WHOA! Dave Chappelle SLAMS Bill Maher and Israel in Defense of Saudi Arabia Comedy Show: “F*ck That Guy”

Comedian Dave Chappelle came out guns blazing against critics of his appearance at the Riyadh Comedy Festival, in late September and early October, explicitly calling out Bill Maher and taking a shot at Israel.

The strongly worded set was featured during his Netflix comedy special, “The Unstoppable,” which premiered on December 19.

Maher had criticized Chapelle last month for claiming that he is freer to make jokes in Saudi Arabia. “It’s easier to talk here than it is in America,”  Chapelle told an audience during a late September appearance. It can be recalled that Chapelle was nearly murdered for his jokes about trans people.

“Dave Chapelle was in the press today, saying that you can speak more freely over here than in America,” to which Louis C.K. responded, “I don’t know if that’s true.”

“Oh, it’s not true. Do your honk on Mohammed, Dave.”

Chapelle responded during the show, saying, “I didn’t tell them to put this in the paper. I just said it on stage. I said, ‘It’s easier to talk in Saudi Arabia for me than it is in America,’”

“I’ve known Bill since I was like 18/19, years old, and I’ve never said this publicly, but f*ck that guy,” Chappelle said. “I’m so f*cking tired of his little smug cracker ass commentary. These motherf*ckers act like because I did a comedy festival in Saudi Arabia, I somehow betrayed my principles.”

“They said, well, Saudi Arabia killed a journalist. And rest in peace, Jamal Khashoggi. I’m sorry that he got murdered in such a heinous fashion,” he continued in a nod to Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed by Saudi agents in Istanbul.

“I mean, look, bro, Israel’s killed 240 journalists in the last three months, so I didn’t know y’all was still counting.”

Comedian Dave Chappelle Recalls Election Night 2016, Says People in Saturday Night Live Writers’ Room Cried

Comedian Dave Chappelle was recently interviewed on a podcast and talked about election night 2016. He was the host of Saturday Night Live that week, and he claims that when Trump was announced the winner, people cried in the SNL writers’ room.

This is very interesting because it confirms what has been obvious for years, that the folks at SNL actively hate President Trump.

Their constant mockery of him is not done in fun, humor, or good faith. It is used as a political weapon because they don’t like him. That’s also why it’s usually not very funny.

Townhall reports:

Dave Chappelle Reminds Us of the Mass Triggering That Happened When Trump Won His First Term

Many Republicans remember fondly the days when President Donald Trump won his first presidential election and the leftist hysteria that followed. There are memes that are still circulating from that time period, showing how horribly Democrats melted down after being shocked by his victory over Hillary Clinton.

Comedian Dave Chappelle, who was not at all surprised by Trump’s win, recently reminisced about his appearance on “Saturday Night Live” and seeing the reactions from the show’s staff. During a conversation with Variety’s Mo Amer, Chappelle said, “Man, when they called Donald Trump to win, that sh*t shut the writer’s room down. You should have seen them in there.”

The comedian further stated that members of the cast were “crying like Black peoplee” and that “they couldn’t believe that this was happening.”

Comedian Says Dave Chapelle Was “Visited” to Have His Views ‘Corrected’

Comedian Jim Breuer claims that Dave Chapelle told him he was once “visited” by an unnamed elite group of people and told to ‘correct’ his views.

Breuer made the remarks during an appearance on the Rosanne Barr podcast.

The apparent visit took place in 2005 after Chapelle’s TV show became highly popular and before the comedian ‘disappeared’ to Africa.

Breuer claims Chapelle spoke to him during the Aspen Comedy Festival and was “freaked out.”

“And all I can say is he was visited,” said Breuer. “And when he told me who visited him, my heart stops for a second, I’m like get the fuck (out of here).”

“You believe me right? You believe me Jim, right?” Chapelle supposedly told Breuer.

“They came to me, and he said the names,” said Breuer, “And then all of a sudden he went to Africa.”

Another guest on the podcast suggested that Chapelle may have been “threatened” by the shadowy people who visited him.

“He was corrected,” clarified Barr, an explanation that Breuer agreed with based on what Chapelle told him, and that the conversation was focused on “heavy shit.”

The so-called “visit” might explain part of the reason why Chapelle decided to walk away from the spotlight at the height of his newfound fame and take a long break in South Africa.

Dave Chappelle says celebrities — not Obama staffers — left ‘dirty notes’ for incoming Trump administration

Chappelle, who appeared on model Naomi Campbell’s YouTube series “No Filter with Naomi,” said that he witnessed celebrities penning nasty notes for the incoming Trump team.

The comedian, who was attending one of the final White House events thrown by the Obama administration, said that he saw some celebrities “leaving ‘dirty notes’ for the incoming Trump administration.”

He did not divulge where, specifically, the celebrities left the notes in question other than to state that the notes were placed in White House drawers and cabinets.

“Remember when the Trump administration moved in, they said ‘The Obama staff left dirty notes for us in all the drawers and all the cabinets,'” Chappelle told Campbell. “Now, I saw this happening. I’m not going to say who did it. But it was celebrities, writing all this crazy s*** and putting them all over there. And I saw them doing it, so when I saw it on the news I laughed real hard.”
