Trans-identified male charged in fatal stabbing of wife in New Hampshire

New Hampshire woman Margaret Jasmin was stabbed to death on May 18 and her partner, Reya Jasmin, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Jasmin is a male who identifies as transgender who was found at the scene by police and was also injured.

A child was also at Plaistow, NH home, and was uninjured and has been removed. The child is believed to be 9 years old and the son of the Margaret and Reya Jasmin. Reya Jasmin, formerly David Mark Jasmin, began the gender change process in 2017, starting hormones in 2018. Margaret also started to transition after her husband did.

Documents from the New Hampshire Department of Justice refer to Reya Jasmin as a woman, saying “an arrest warrant was issued for Reya Jasmin charging her with one count of Second-Degree Murder.” Reya Jasmin has been accused of having recklessly caused the death of wife Margaret.

Many news outlets, from NBC Boston, Hoodline, WGME 13, News 7, Derry News, and others called Reya Jasmin a woman, despite the murder being an instance of a male partner allegedly killing his wife. The Maine Wire noted that the original press release from the NH DOJ correctly identified Reya Jasmin as a man before adjusting their language to reflect Jasmin’s preferred pronouns and gender identity. The Maine Wire reported that the murder was an “apparent murder-suicide attempt.”

Crypto investor allegedly tortured captive Italian businessman with a chainsaw for weeks in luxe NYC pad in sadistic scheme to gain password: sources

A cryptocurrency investor from Kentucky is suspected of torturing an Italian businessman with a chainsaw in a sadistic, weeks-long extortion attempt to gain the password for his accounts at a ritzy Manhattan apartment – before the captive made a daring escape, police sources said.

John Woeltz, 37, was arrested after the bloodied and bruised businessman – a 28 year-old man – broke out of the SoHo house of horrors Friday morning, ran to a police officer and said he’d been held prisoner for more than two weeks, the sources said.

Cops rushed to the luxurious Prince Street pad – which Woeltz was allegedly renting for roughly $30,000 to $40,000 a month – and discovered multiple Polaroid photos showing the businessman being tied up with electrical wire and tortured, including one of him bound to a chair with a gun pointed at his head, according to the sources.

Since being taken captive, the businessman had been bound with an electric cord, Tased while his feet were put in water, pistol-whipped, forced to take cocaine and threatened to have his limbs cut off with an electric chainsaw, the sources said.

The nightmare erupted from a dispute over cryptocurrency, in which the suspect allegedly tried to extort millions of dollars from the man by unleashing a litany of horrific tortures, according to sources.

The man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital for treatment, while cops arrested Woeltz, who was expected to face an assault charge, the sources said.

Woeltz was charged Friday night with two counts of second-degree assault, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree, first degree unlawful imprisonment and criminal possession of a weapon.

A second person — 24-year-old Beatrice Folchi of Manhattan — was also arrested and charged with first-degree kidnapping and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.

Armenian Crime Rings Charged With Attempted Murder, $83 Million Amazon Cargo Theft

Federal authorities on Tuesday arrested 13 alleged members of rival Armenian crime organizations locked in an apparent power struggle in Los Angeles County.

The charges include attempted murder, kidnapping, illegal firearm possession, bank and wire fraud, and cargo theft totaling more than $80 million, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release.

Among the defendants are Ara Artuni, 41, of Los Angeles, who is charged with attempted murder in aid of racketeering, and Robert Amiryan, 46, of Hollywood, who is charged with kidnapping.

Authorities say both men were leaders of rival Armenian organized crime syndicates, referred to as “avtoritet,” which is Russian for “authority,” and that they have been engaged in a violent feud to maintain control of the San Fernando Valley since 2022.

Artuni is charged with ordering the attempted murder of Amiryan during the summer of 2023. In retaliation, Amiryan allegedly conspired with members of his own criminal organization to kidnap and torture one of Artuni’s associates in June 2023.

In addition to attempted murder, authorities say Artuni and his criminal enterprise committed bank fraud, wire fraud and cargo theft.

Artuni and his organization allegedly targeted e-commerce giant Amazon by enrolling as carriers for the online retailer. Artuni and his men would contract trucking routes with Amazon, and while transporting the goods, diverge from the route and steal all or part of the shipments.

The Artuni enterprise allegedly stole more than $83 million from Amazon, according to estimates provided by the company.

“This transnational criminal organization operated with the structure and brutality of an international cartel, inflicting significant harm on public safety and causing substantial damage to legitimate commerce and supply chains,” Dwayne Angebrandts, Homeland Security Investigation’s Los Angeles acting deputy special agent in charge, said in a statement.

Artuni’s organization also reportedly ran a “credit card bust-out” scheme in which it charged credit cards to a fake business and then “drained the business account” before credit card companies could collect the disputed funds.

Several other arrests were made in the Los Angeles area and two more in Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, Florida. Authorities continue to look for one defendant.

Rep. Randy Fine: Pro-Palestine Movement Are ‘Demons’ Who ‘Must Be Put Down by Any Means Necessary’

Newly elected Florida Rep Randy Fine rushed to blame “Muslim terror” for the shooting of two Israeli embassy aides in DC on Wednesday night and declared that the pro-Palestine movement are “demons” who “must be put down by any means necessary.”

“Muslim terror has come to our Nation’s Capital tonight,” Rep. Fine said on X. “Two Jews were assassinated by a gunman sporting a terror rag and yelling ‘Free Palestine.'”

“It is high time for us to acknowledge there is nothing peaceful about this movement and that these demons must be put down by any means necessary,” Fine, who is Jewish, demanded.

The suspect within hours of the shooting was swiftly identified as 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez, an Hispanic left-wing activist from Chicago. There are no indications he’s a Muslim.

The aides were named as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim. The two were reportedly a couple. A former teacher of Lischinsky’s said he was “a Christian who served in the IDF, and dedicated his life to Israel and Zionism.”

Ken Klippenstein published Rodriguez’s alleged manifesto in which he characterized his planned action as an “armed demonstration” against the genocide in Gaza. The manifesto had nothing in it about Islam and contained no indications that religion was a motivating factor.

Rep. Fine, despite now being a member of Congress, couldn’t even wait a few hours for the facts to come in before calling for the mass slaughter of his political enemies.

Father Of DC Shooting Suspect Was Democrats’ Honored Guest At Trump Congressional Address

The father of the suspected gunman in the murder of two Israeli Embassy staffers at the Capital Jewish Museum on Wednesday, was the honored guest of a far-left lawmaker at President Trump’s joint address to Congress back in Marchthe New York Post reported.

Eric Rodriguez is an anti-Trump SEIU member who also spoke at a Democrat press conference ahead of Trump’s address.

His son, accused killer Elias Rodriguez, 30, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder after allegedly gunning down Yaron Lischinsky, 28, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, who were about to become engaged.

“Eric Rodriguez was our guest during the President’s Joint Speech to Congress, but we don’t know his family,” a spokesperson for Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García (D-Ill.) told the Post Thursday night.

García in March had described Rodriguez as “an outspoken advocate against attacks on veterans’ services and the rights of unionized federal employees.”

His mention of “attacks on veteran services” appeared to be a reference to the Department of Government Efficiency’s work eliminating of waste fraud and abuse from the system.

“Eric represents the very best of our community — someone who has served his country, continues to serve his fellow veterans and fights every day to protect the dignity of working people,” the congressman said in a statement on March 3. “His presence at the Joint Address is a powerful statement: we will not sit back while veterans and workers are treated as political pawns.”

According to the Post, Rodriguez also appeared in a Service Employees International Union (SEIU) video that same day, speaking as an Iraq War vet and an employee with the Veterans Affairs Department.

The SEIU, one of the largest labor unions in North America, donates millions of dollars to left-wing Democrat politicians who promote government expansion and higher taxes.

I’ve been with the VA for three years, and the reason why I’m in Washington, DC, is because I’m concerned about what Donald Trump, Elon Musk and DOGE are doing to the VA system,” he said in the SEIU video.

Rodriguez was also a featured speaker at an emotional Democrat press conference on March 4.

Flanked by Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and other Democrat lawmakers, Rodriguez appeared on the verge of tears as he decried the DOGE cuts.

Neighbor of gunman who killed Israeli diplomat says ‘girlfriend’ vanished from their Chicago apartment weeks before shooting

The suspected pro-Palestine gunman who murdered two young Israeli diplomats in Washington DC lived with a ‘girlfriend’ at his modest apartment in Chicago, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Elias Rodriguez, 31, moved in with a woman whose last name is believed to be Oliver roughly two years ago, 71-year-old neighbor John Fry said.

But it appears she recently mysteriously vanished.

‘There was a young woman, although I haven’t seen her for a couple of weeks now. I can’t say exactly when she left,’ Fry added.

‘I’m guessing she was in her late 20s, about 5ft 3ins tall, dark hair. Nothing special about her build. Difficult to really describe her much after that.

‘I don’t know why she apparently hasn’t been around.’

He would not speculate that the couple could have fallen out before the murderous assault outside the Capital Jewish Museum on Wednesday night – where Rodriguez shouted ‘Free Palestine’ after the killing spree.

‘They were a really quiet couple. Although in these apartment buildings people only tend to just say hi to each other, not much more than that,’ said Fry. ‘I didn’t exchange that many words with her.

Fry said he also had not seen Rodriguez – who allegedly unleashed 21 rounds from his H&K pistol to kill soon-to-be engaged Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim – for days either.

A small pair of women’s size black CAT sneakers remained outside the door of the couple’s second floor apartment today despite the FBI raid on the premises 24 hours earlier.

On the dark wood front door is a cardboard graphic of what appears to be a Hello Kitty Chinese New Year decal, with a male and a female version of the Sanrio mascot, linked together with Chinese characters, as revealed in exclusive DailyMail.com photos.

The apartment building is in the mixed Albany Park area of the city, where support is strong for Palestine following the October 7 Hamas atrocities and Israel’s military response in Gaza.

Fry said he too supported the Palestinian cause but added: ‘What he did was so wrong. And if I’d had any idea that he would do such a thing I believe I could have talked him out of it.

‘If he wanted to support Palestine, this is not the way to do it. What’s killing two people doing to do? It was so stupid, so counterproductive.

‘There’s a very strong Palestine support network in this neighborhood. And for him to do what he did, he did it because he had lost hope. I believe he just lost hope over the death and destruction. It pushed him over the edge.’

Fry also revealed the FBI did not seem particularly interested in the girlfriend. ‘I told them about her, but they didn’t appear to pick up on it,’ he said.

Colombian woman sentenced in Florida to 20 years in prison for kidnapping, drugging two US soldiers in Bogotá

Colombian national has been sentenced to over 20 years in federal prison for her role in the drugging, kidnapping, and robbery of two US military service members in Bogotá, Colombia.

Kenny Julieth Uribe Chiran, 35, was sentenced in the Southern District of Florida to 262 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. She was also ordered to pay $24,115 in restitution. In March 2025, she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to kidnap internationally protected persons.

According to the US Justice Department, the incident occurred on the evening of March 5, 2020. The two US soldiers, on temporary duty in Bogotá, had visited a local pub in an entertainment district after watching a soccer match. There, Uribe Chiran and a co-conspirator approached them and secretly drugged their drinks with benzodiazepines. Once incapacitated, the soldiers were kidnapped, robbed of valuables and financial information, and later abandoned in separate locations across the city.

“Uribe Chiran and her co-defendants mercilessly preyed on US soldiers when they drugged their drinks, stole their valuables, and left them incapacitated on the street,” said Matthew R. Galeotti, Head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “Kidnapping and assaulting two US military service members is deplorable, and the Criminal Division will continue to prioritize protecting our service members through these prosecutions.”

US Attorney Hayden P. O’Byrne for the Southern District of Florida echoed that sentiment: “Kidnappings and assaults against US service members will not be tolerated. To those who would dare commit such reprehensible acts against America’s heroes, know this: We will identify you; we will find you; and we will prosecute you as aggressively as the law permits.”

Harvard’s News Cycle Just Got Worse As Medical School Morgue Director Pleads Guilty to Disgusting Crime

Harvard University has been in the news a lot over the last couple of years, but for all the wrong reasons. They tolerated virulent antisemitism on their Cambridge, Massachusetts campus after the Oct. 7 Hamas slaughter of Israelis, their president resigned over the matter, plus accusations of plagiarism, and lately they’ve been involved in a battle with the Trump administration over DEI and the failure to protect their Jewish students from hate.

But it just got worse:

A former Harvard Medical School morgue manager recently entered a plea in relation to an alleged scheme to steal and sell donated body parts.

Cedric Lodge, 57, of Goffstown, New Hampshire, pleaded guilty to interstate transport of stolen human remains on Wednesday before Chief U.S. District Judge Matthew W. Brann, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

The maximum penalty under federal law is 10 years in prison, a term of supervised release following imprisonment and a fine.

This guy’s activities come straight out of a horror movie:

Officials said Lodge admitted that from 2018 through at least March 2020 he participated in the sale and interstate transport of human remains stolen from the Harvard Medical School morgue in Massachusetts.

Lodge, then-manager of the Harvard Medical School morgue, removed human remains, including organs, brains, skin, hands, faces, dissected heads and other parts from donated cadavers after they had been used for research and teaching purposes, but before they could be disposed of according to the anatomical gift donation agreement between the donor and the school, according to the release.

He took the remains to his home in New Hampshire without the permission or knowledge of his employer, the donors or donors’ families.

My first question is: Who is he selling the body parts to? And for what reason are they purchasing them?

On second thought, maybe I don’t want to know.

Labour set to free killers and rapists earlier under new soft-justice masterplan branded ‘recipe for a crimewave’ by the Tories

Labour is set to free killers and rapists from jail earlier under a new soft-justice masterplan.

The Government’s sentencing review was last night savaged by victims and senior police officers, while the Tories dubbed it a ‘recipe for a crimewave’.

The plan contains a raft of measures to slash sentences served by prisoners – from shoplifters to killers – by up to a third.

Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood, who commissioned the review to free up space in overcrowded prisons, is poised to become the weakest law and order minister in history by allowing thousands more criminals a year to dodge jail completely.

Most of the plan has already been adopted in principle by Labour. Tory frontbencher Robert Jenrick blasted the measures as ‘a get-out-of-jail-free card for dangerous criminals’.

‘It’s a recipe for a crime wave,’ the Shadow Justice Secretary told MPs in the Commons. ‘The Labour Party are clearly ideologically opposed to prison.

‘The radical, terrible changes today may be cloaked in necessity, but the root of them is their ideology. And it’s the public who will pay the price for their weakness.’

The review said criminals convicted of serious violence or sex offences could win their freedom after serving half their jail term, rather than at the current three-quarters point – a one-third reduction.

This lower automatic release date would apply to offenders convicted of ‘rape, manslaughter, soliciting murder, attempted murder and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm’, the document said, providing they behaved well in jail.

Most other offenders would be released after serving just a third of their sentence if they demonstrated good behaviour.

Cops probing anti-Israel manifesto allegedly written by terror suspect Elias Rodriguez ahead of DC Jewish Museum shooting: sources

Police are investigating whether the suspected terrorist arrested for fatally shooting two Israeli Embassy staffers in Washington, DC, blasted out an anti-Israel manifesto online in the lead-up to the bloodshed, law enforcement sources told The Post.

Elias Rodriguez, 31, had allegedly chanted “Free, free Palestine” just moments before he confessed to gunning down the couple outside the Capital Jewish Museum late Wednesday, cops said.

As investigators probed a motive behind the horrific antisemitic bloodshed, cops were homing in on a 900-word manifesto bearing Rodriguez’s name that started circulating online immediately after his arrest, the sources said.

In addition to trying to determine the document’s authenticity, authorities were trawling through Rodriguez’s electronic devices and probing whether he was self-radicalized, according to sources.

The missive, which was apparently dated May 20 — a day before the slayings — appeared to suggest the killings were an act of political protest ignited by the war in Gaza.

“An armed action is not necessarily a military action. It usually is not. Usually it is theater and spectacle, a quality it shares with many unarmed actions,” the document reads.

The alleged manifesto went on to suggest that those “of us against the genocide” have “forfeited their humanity.”

“But inhumanity has long since shown itself to be shockingly common, mundane, prosaically human. A perpetrator may then be a loving parent, a filial child, a generous and charitable friend, an amiable stranger, capable of moral strength at times when it suits him and sometimes even when it does not, and yet be a monster all the same,” the writings state.
