Inside The CIA Unit Nobody Dares Talk About

In an eye-opening interview, former CIA officer turned whistleblower John Kiriakou pulled back the curtain on the agency’s most elite fighting units, revealing how the United States’ intelligence agencies transformed overnight into a lethal force dedicated to hunting down radical Islamic terrorists after the September 11th terror attacks.

Speaking with host Dalton Fischer, Kiriakou delivered a no-nonsense account of CIA’s most classified operators, the legendary Ground Branch warriors, Special Activities Division (SAD), and Counterterrorism Center (CTC), elite units filled with the U.S.’s finest Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, and Delta Force operators.

These aren’t your typical government bureaucrats,” Kiriakou explained. “These are battle-tested heroes from our most elite military units, SEALs, Rangers, Delta Force, recruited because they have the skills and courage to do what others can’t.”

After 9/11, these elite soldiers were quickly brought into the CIA fold, many on loan from the military before becoming permanent assets in divisions like Global Services, Special Activities Division, and the hard-hitting Counterterrorism Center. Their mission? Simple and vital: eliminate threats to American lives and freedom (and whatever the fuck else the CIA has them doing).

What they do is so classified that even though everybody in the office knows what they’re up to, nobody talks about it,” Kiriakou revealed, describing the iron-clad secrecy surrounding these operations. Their job, the former CIA officer explained without hesitation, is “to neutralize anybody who poses a threat to the United States, its citizens, or its installations.”

While praising the critical importance of eliminating high-value terrorist targets like Osama bin Laden to protect American families, Kiriakou didn’t shy away from addressing the tough questions about oversight and accountability.

Mistakes happen in the fog of war,” Kiriakou acknowledged, referencing troubling cases where intelligence errors led to innocent people being detained. “We’re not lawless vigilantes. As American government officials, we’re bound by the Constitution. That’s what separates us from our enemies and makes America the beacon of freedom in the world.”

Kiriakou pinpointed the exact moment America’s intelligence community transformed into a fighting force.

“The day after 9/11,” Kiriakou told Fischer, vividly recalling the pivotal moment when Cofer Black, then head of the Counterterrorism Center, stood before his team and declared the new reality.

Today, we’re at war, and we’re all going to have to fight. Not all of us are going to come home,” Black announced to a silent room, marking the beginning of the U.S.’s years-long campaign against al-Qaeda.

By Christmas 2001, Kiriakou explained that al-Qaeda’s core operations in Afghanistan was virtually destroyed, with only 25 active members remaining according to Senate intelligence.

Before 9/11, the Special Activities Division operated in the shadows within the CIA’s Directorate of Operations, conducting missions that were rarely discussed even within the agency itself. After the attacks, the Counterterrorism Center rapidly established its own special activities group, primarily composed of loaned military personnel focused on hunting down terrorists plotting against America.

The elite CIA units regularly undertake extraordinarily dangerous missions, including parachuting into hostile territory, conducting high-risk extractions in terrorist strongholds like Benghazi, Khartoum, and Karachi.

It’s extremely dangerous work,” Kiriakou said, noting that many fallen heroes are honored with anonymous stars on the CIA’s Wall of Honor, their ultimate sacrifice known only to God and country.

The post-9/11 atmosphere at the Counterterrorism Center reflected America’s new war footing, with office areas nicknamed “Bin Laden Boulevard” and “Hezbollah Highway.”

Former AG Bill Barr floats his own theory as he explains possible Jeffrey Epstein-CIA links to Congress

Former Attorney General William Barr told Congress that late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s long-rumored links to intelligence agencies could be explained by the fact that the CIA has a special division that “talks to people who are well-connected.”

“Many American businessmen who have foreign contacts sometimes will talk to intelligence agencies and provide information to them. And the CIA has a unit that goes around and talks to people who are well-connected and asks them questions,” Barr told the House Oversight Committee in an August deposition.

“So my supposition, when I saw things about him being connected to U.S. intelligence, maybe, like many other businessmen, he talks to them, but this is not, in my opinion, based on what I saw, I didn’t think it was an intelligence operation, and I never received any information that led me to believe that.”

The former attorney general said that he doesn’t believe that the pedophile was formally “working for” the agency, according to a transcript made public Tuesday.

The CIA did not immediately offer comment for this story.

Barr started his career working for six years at the CIA in the 1970s and served two stints as attorney general, first from 1991 to 1993 under President George H.W. Bush, a former CIA director, and then under President Trump in 2019 and 2020.

Newly Declassified FBI/CIA Files Reveal Two Saudi Government Operatives “May Have Served as an Advance Team” for 9/11 Hijackers — Official Narrative in Tatters as Timeline Shifts Back to 1998

For over two decades, the American people have been told a carefully curated story about the September 11th attacks.

Now, newly declassified FBI and CIA records are shredding the “official narrative,” revealing that Saudi government operatives may have been on U.S. soil as early as December 1998, three years before nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered.

Exclusive reporting from veteran national security journalist Catherine Herridge exposes that two Saudi government employees, Mutaeb al-Sudairy and Adel al-Sadhan, were not mere tourists.

Instead, they were caught on video in 1999 surveying Washington, D.C. landmarks later listed as potential al-Qaeda targets, including the White House and Capitol.

The Gateway Pundit reported in 2024 that in the CBS video, Omar al-Bayoumi, who the FBI says was a Saudi operative, was seen casing the US Capitol in Washington, DC, the likely target of the Flight 93 operation that was thwarted that day by American passengers and heroes.

The video was found by British police during a raid on Bayoumi’s UK apartment days after the 9/11 attacks.

According to ProPublica, Bayoumi was joined on the trip by two Saudi clerics, Adel al-Sadhan and Mutaeb al-Sudairy.

They were so-called propagators, emissaries of the Islamic Affairs Ministry sent to proselytize abroad. U.S. investigators later linked them to a handful of Islamist militants.

Former FBI veteran and Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center, William R. Evanina, confirmed to Herridge that the two were here in the US for a reason.

CDC bureaucrats accused of using a CIA sabotage manual to block Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s reforms

An explosive revelation is shaking the core of the U.S. healthcare system. Career bureaucrats within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are using a 1944 CIA manual, «Simple Sabotage», to orchestrate an internal sabotage campaign against Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

This plot aims to thwart Kennedy’s ambitious reforms to dismantle Big Pharma’s influence and prioritize public health under the slogan «Make America Healthy Again.»

The manual, distributed among CDC employees, promotes tactics such as delaying orders, drafting confusing documents, and encouraging uncooperative attitudes to create administrative chaos.

These actions are a panicked response from left-leaning bureaucrats following the dismissal of former CDC Director Susan Monarez on August 27, and Kennedy’s cuts to questionable programs.

Monarez was fired after refusing to support vaccine restrictions lacking scientific evidence, accusing Kennedy of «sabotaging» public health.

Kennedy, during a recent Senate hearing, denied these claims, refuting any private meetings with Monarez. Kennedy has faced fierce resistance.

Over 1,000 current and former HHS employees demanded his resignation in a letter published on Save HHS, accusing him of dismantling public health infrastructure and spreading vaccine misinformation.

Cause of Death Officially Revealed for Biden-Appointed US Attorney Found Dead in Her Home – Had Led High-Profile Investigations Into CIA Leaks and Russian Fraud Cases

The cause of death for a prominent former Biden-appointed US Attorney has been officially released months after her death.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Biden-era US Attorney Jessica Aber for the Eastern District of Virginia was found dead in her Alexandria, Virginia, back in March.

Aber’s family said she suffered from epilepsy and speculated that she passed away after an epileptic seizure.

However, they were waiting for more information from the medical examiner.

Now, the Alexandria Medical Examiner’s office has ruled that Aber suffered a “sudden unexpected death in epilepsy” while sleeping, confirming the family’s suspicion.

The New York Post points out that it’s unclear why it took so long to confirm Aber’s cause of death, especially since the Alexandria Police Department previously stated that detectives “found no evidence suggesting that her death was caused by anything other than natural causes.” One would think this would have been quickly confirmed.

As The Daily Mail notes, fatal epileptic seizures are rare, but are considered a significant risk for people who suffer from the disorder. Those episodes most often occur when the individuals are asleep, like Aber was

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Alexandria Police responded to the 900 block of Beverley Drive for the report of an unresponsive woman on March 22. Officers located a deceased woman. Following notification of family members, the Alexandria Police Department confirmed that the woman’s identity was that of the 43-year-old Aber.

Aber was known for spearheading high-profile investigations into CIA intelligence leaks, war crime allegations tied to individuals linked with Russia, and suspects involved in transferring sensitive U.S. technology to Moscow.

She was also a lead prosecutor in the high-profile case against a former ABC journalist who went missing after the FBI raided his home and seized his laptop. He pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges.

The timing of Aber’s death, just two months after resigning and amid her involvement in sensitive cases, sparked discussion.

The CIA, Mossad, and Epstein: Unraveling the Intelligence Ties of The Maxwell Family

With speculation mounting that Trump could pardon her, MintPress profiles the family of convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. From her media baron father, who acted as a high-level spy for Israel, her sister, working to push Tel Aviv’s interests in Silicon Valley, her brothers, who founded a dubious but highly influential anti-Islamic extremism think tank, and nephews in influential roles at the State Department and White House, the Maxwell clan have wide-ranging ties to U.S. and Israeli state power. This is their story.

Releasing Ghislaine, Burying the Epstein Files

Speculation is growing that Ghislaine Maxwell could soon be freed. Despite campaigning on the promise to release the Epstein Files, there are increasing signs that the Trump administration is considering pardoning the world’s most notorious convicted sex trafficker.

Last month, Trump (who contemplated the idea in his first term in office) repeatedly refused to rule out a pardon, stating to journalists that “I’m allowed to do it.” Just days later, Maxwell was transferred across states to a minimum-security facility in Bryan, Texas—a highly unusual practice. Neither women convicted of sex crimes nor those with more than 10 years remaining on their sentences are generally permitted to be transferred to such facilities. The move sparked equal measures of speculation and outrage.

CIA and Mossad-linked Surveillance System Quietly Being Installed Throughout the US

Launched in 2016 in response to a Tel Aviv shooting and the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, Gabriel offers a suite of surveillance products for “security and safety” incidents at “so-called soft targets and communal spaces, including schools, community centers, synagogues and churches.” The company makes the lofty promise that its products “stop mass shootings.” According to a 2018 report on Gabriel published in the Jerusalem Post, there were an estimated 475,000 such “soft targets” across the U.S., meaning that “the potential market for Gabriel is huge.”

Gabriel, since its founding, has been backed by “an impressive group of leaders,” mainly “former leaders of Mossad, Shin Bet [Israel’s domestic intelligence agency], FBI and CIA.” In recent years, even more former leaders of Israeli and American intelligence agencies have found their way onto Gabriel’s advisory board and have promoted the company’s products.

While the adoption of its surveillance technology was slower than expected in the United States, that dramatically changed last year, when an “anonymous philanthropist” gave the company $1 million to begin installing its products throughout schools, houses of worship and community centers throughout the country. That same “philanthropist” has promised to recruit others to match his donation, with the ultimate goal of installing Gabriel’s system in “every single synagogue, school and campus community in the country.”

With this CIA, FBI and Mossad-backed system now being installed throughout the United States for “free,” it is worth taking a critical look at Gabriel and its products, particularly the company’s future vision for its surveillance system. Perhaps unsurprisingly, much of the company’s future vision coincides with the vision of the intelligence agencies backing it – pre-crime, robotic policing and biometric surveillance.

Cognitive Neuroscientist Claims ‘Gut Feeling’ Could Be a Memory From the Future

Precognition can have a scientific basis, according to some researchers. The assertion is shocking, as the practice is typically not associated with logic. The practice is essentially “gut feelings” that a human has about an incident that could happen in the future, according to Popular Mechanics. Across decades, many people have come forward with their claims of being able to predict the future. Many have believed, but several have responded with scepticism. Cognitive neuroscientist Julia Mossbridge herself claims to have this capability. Now, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has entered this debate by declassifying its extensive research on the topic, and the results support the believers.

Examples of Precognition

Fatih Ozcan claimed in 2012 that he and his boss won a lottery due to his precognition dream, according to The Guardian. Other remarkable stories include Daz Smith using his psychic skills to predict cryptocurrency trends, and Michael D Austin hiring several “remote viewers” for his company, Soul Rider, to offer financial advice. Mossbridge has been recording her psychic dreams since the age of seven. These skills also have roots in ancient times, with several cultures, like the Tibetans, using precognition from shamans for various purposes.

CIA’s Take

CIA’s documents detailed several psychics who were using “remote viewing” to search for certain targets to help authorities, in both the past and present. These documents came to light in 1995 and were related to a project called “Stargate,” which spent around $20 million on this methodology for around two decades, since the 1970s. One of the major successes of this method was noted in 1976, when a psychic called Rosemary Smith found the location of a lost Soviet plane. The files concluded with a glowing review of the process and stated, “remote viewers can be used as collectors in conjunction with other intelligence sources.”

MI6 and CIA: Will Broken Bromance Lead to Divide on Ukraine?

“There is now a cooling of the relationship between the US and British governments, and particularly between the CIA and MI6,” retired CIA officer and State Department official Larry Johnson tells Sputnik.

What are the Signs?

The Observer raised concerns about Trump’s stance on US-UK intelligence cooperation and noted the rejection of veteran officer Tom Sylvester as CIA station chief in London. While the Observer did not name the CIA officer, the New York Times and The Telegraph named him on July 28 and August 1, respectively.

The British media concerns may stem from Sylvester’s role as “the primary liaison with MI6″ on Ukraine, Johnson notes.

On August 21, CBS revealed that DNI Tulsi Gabbard barred intelligence sharing on Russia-Ukraine talks with Five Eyes partners the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand from July 20.

In April, reports suggested some European insiders think Britain should reduce intel sharing with Washington.

“There is a change underway with respect to CIA activities in support of the war against Russia using Ukraine as a proxy,” says Johnson. “But I think there’s also another dimension to this: Donald Trump knows or should know that MI6 played a very active role in Russiagate.”

Inside The CIA’s Covert War To Topple The Syrian Government

For over a decade, the dominant Western narrative on the Syrian War has been simple: a peaceful uprising turned into a brutal civil war because of Bashar al-Assad’s ruthless crackdown on his own people. But in Creative Chaos: Inside the CIA’s Covert War to Topple the Syrian Government, the Libertarian Institute’s latest book, William Van Wagenen methodically dismantles this mainstream version of events, exposing it as a convenient fiction crafted to justify one of the most disastrous regime change wars of the modern era.

His central thesis is clear: the war in Syria was not an organic revolution but a deliberate effort by Washington, Israel, and their regional partners to weaken Iran by toppling Assad’s government. And when peaceful protests were hijacked by Islamist militants, instead of helping restore stability, the US and its allies deliberately prevented Assad from crushing the insurgency—even as it became dominated by al-Qaeda and ISIS-affiliated groups.

Now, years later, the result is a fractured Syria, ruled by jihadist warlords and occupied by foreign powers, with Israel consolidating its hold over strategic territory.

How and why did this disaster for Syria’s people come to pass? And why were the non-interventionists who called out Washington’s lies always right about the war and its likely outcome?
