Police Use Tear Gas, Stun Grenades Against Farmers Protesting Mercosur Trade Agreement At EU Parliament In Strasbourg

During the farmers’ protest in Strasbourg, ahead of the European Parliament’s vote on the Mercosur trade deal, police used tear gas against demonstrators seeking an appeal to block the agreement.

Officers reportedly were forced to throw stun grenades at the protesters as they tried to enter the parliament building.

“Farmers are trying to get into the European Parliament. The police used tear gas,” wrote MEP Maciej Wąsik of the Law and Justice party (PiS) on social media.

Remix News reported yesterday that around 4,000 farmers from across the European Union, including Italy, Belgium, and Germany, were expected to descend on Strasbourg, with French farmers forming the majority.

Now We Know: Obama And Biden Deportation Numbers Were Bogus

How many times have you heard it said that Barack Obama was “deporter in chief”? How many times did Joe Biden brag that he’d deported more illegal immigrants than Donald Trump had in his first term?

Turns out, those were wild distortions of the truth bordering – if you will pardon the pun – on outright lies.

In late 2024, for example, we saw stories about how deportations that year were the largest in a decade, beating Trump’s record in what would be his first term.

As NPR put it, this meant that “the Republican narrative that the Biden administration has not done anything to combat illegal immigration is just not true.”

The New York Times, of all places, called the lie on this (albeit unintentionally).

Over the weekend, it published a story about how many people Trump has deported. Except in doing so, it broke down the number of deportations “of people arrested inside the country” and those “arrested at the border.”

There’s a big difference. During the Obama and Biden administrations illegals were flooding across the border. They came in record numbers during the Biden years.

Turning them around and sending them home isn’t the same as removing those who managed to sneak past border agents, or worse, were caught and released. But the press never made that distinction.

What did the Times report?

That in his first year, Trump arrested and deported 230,000 illegals inside the country – a number, it says that “is already higher than the total during the entire four years of the Biden administration.”

In contrast, the number being turned around at the border has dropped from roughly 600,000 in 2024, Biden’s final year in office, to just over 250,000 in 2025, the first year of Trump’s second term.

Michelle Obama Urges People to Be ‘Mindful’ of Buying’ White Owned Clothes Brands

Former First Lady Michelle Obama has urged people to be “mindful” when buying from white-owned clothing brands.

During a recent interview clip circulating on social media, Obama says she actively tries to buy clothes from people of “color” in order to “make it a point.”

“If I hear of someone whose fashion that I like, and I know that they’re a person of color, I try to make it a point, but the clothes have to be available.”

“You know, I think we can all do some work to think about that balance in our wardrobes, you know.”

“What does our closet look like and who’s in it? Who are we supporting in it? You know, and I think if you have the money to buy Chanel, then you have the money to buy everybody.”

“And so let us be mindful, I think would be my advice.”

Leftists Call For Political Purge Of MAGA If They Return To Power

You might have thought it wasn’t possible, but leftist activist rhetoric has become even more unhinged than usual in the past month as ICE agents try to do their lawful jobs in Democrat controlled sanctuary cities like Minneapolis.

During the Obama Administration, ICE carried out millions of deportations of illegal aliens without a peep from progressives.  Suddenly, under Trump these same operations are now being called “fascism” and grounds for insurgency.  The reason these arrests have led to more violence today is not because of ICE, it is because NGO paid and trained activists are getting in the way.

First, impeding law enforcement officials, blocking roads, sabotaging vehicles and physically assaulting agents is not a legal form of protest.

Second, the American public voted for mass deportations to happen; not just for migrants who break the law after they sneak into the US, but for all migrants who sneak into the US.  Democrats and a radical minority of activists are therefore attempting to disrupt the democratic process and prevent the Trump Administration from carrying out the will of the people.

But it doesn’t stop there.

A narrative is building among Democrat politicians and NGO activists alike which is essentially calling for a political purge of conservatives if progressive leaders return to government power in the next few years.  Multiple blue city mayors, governors and police administrators have already threatened to “arrest ICE agents” for carrying out deportations within sanctuary city jurisdictions.

Jacob Frey and Tim Walz made thinly veiled threats suggesting that local police could intervene.  Walz called on residents of Minneapolis to film all ICE agents so that they could be “prosecuted later.”

THIS IS THE LEFT: Unhinged Liberal Pepper-Sprays and Assaults Conservative Journalist in Broad-Daylight Attack on Philadelphia Bus

A deranged liberal activist pepper-sprayed and physically assaulted conservative journalist riding a SEPTA bus in downtown Philadelphia this week.

Independent journalist Frank Scales of SurgePhilly posted a detailed account of the unprovoked assault on X, alleging that the attack began after he was simply looking out the window and minding his business.

In the video, Scales identified the woman as Paulina Reyes, describing her as a “known ANTIFA agitator.” Reyes is a former intern at WHYYNews.

According to the news outlet, they “knew each other while both served in student leadership positions at Community College of Philadelphia, evidenced by photographs and video that show them together.”

Throughout the confrontation, Reyes repeatedly accused Scales of being a fascist and a racist.

When Scales activated his phone to record the confrontation for his own safety, the woman lunged at his device, punched him over the head, and pepper-sprayed him in the face, all inside a moving city bus.

When Scales asked her directly why she believed that he is fascist and racist, the woman responded:

“You talk sht about Islamic people. You talk sht about Black people. You talk sh*t about Mexicans. And you post it on the internet.”

Ian McGinnis, co-founder of Surge Media, was also present and managed to grab the phone back and continue recording as the woman escalated her attack.

CONFIRMED: Indictments Coming for Don Lemon After MN Church Stunt

Legal analyst Mike Davis accused the Biden Justice Department of politicizing and weaponizing federal law to target political opponents while shielding ideological allies, arguing that the same statutes previously used against Christians will now be applied to left-wing activists and media figures who disrupted church services.

Davis made the remarks during an exchange with conservative commentator Benny Johnson, who asked Davis to outline how a case could be built against activists and media figures involved in the recent disruption of a Christian church service.

“Obviously you have been going hard in the paint on this because you have seen how this statute was weaponized by the Biden administration, and the left has absolutely no accountability here,” Johnson said.

“So why don’t we start from the get, and you can build off of what Harmeet said yesterday. How would you build out a case against these BLM terrorists and Don Lemon who stormed this church?”

Davis responded by pointing to what he described as a clear pattern of selective enforcement under the Biden-Harris administration.

“Well, I would use the Biden Justice Department playbook to build this case,” Davis said.

“Remember, under the Biden Justice Department with Attorney General Merrick Garland and Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta and Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Christian Clark, three radicals, Lisa Monaco, the Deputy Attorney General for radicals, they politicized and weaponized the Justice Department to go after their political enemies and to protect their allies.”

“I’m $6K Behind”: Maryland Power Bill Crisis Sparks Debt Panic As 14,000 Residents Cry For Help Online

The Maryland power bill crisis first came to our attention in August 2024, when years of poor power-grid management by Democrats (mostly due to backfiring ‘green’ policies) in the state collided with surging electricity demand from AI data centers.

Fast forward to today: the power bill crisis in the one-party rule state of Democratic Party kings and queens, headed by leftist Gov. Wes Moore, who has presidential ambitions, is getting hammered in the polling numbers (new data from Annapolis-based Gonzales Research & Media) as struggling Marylanders are financially crushed by mounting power-bill debt and venting their frustration in a Facebook group with nearly 14,000 angry residents.

The Facebook group called “BGE Victims” has amassed 13.7k members, with many in the group pointing fingers at not just the local utility BGE or the grid operator PJM, but also the one-party rule of Democrats in the state who have masqueraded as competent managers but in reality are far-left activists looting the state’s coffers to fund pet projects from supporting illegal aliens to all things woke.

Epic grid mismanagement, such as retiring fossil fuel power plants and de-growthing the grid with unreliable solar and wind to solve what Democrats say is a climate crisis emergency, has been nothing more than mismanagement, and the end result has been the financial destruction of the working class.

“I just joined this post and I’m in the same situation as a lot of people my BG& bill is 800dollars a month and I have no idea why I’ve called them and they’ve even came out and they told me the same thing that they told other people change my lightbulbs do this do that and it’s still that much right now I’m in a worse situation than ever my BgE bill has accumulated. I’m not kidding to almost $6000 behind they can’t cut the electric off till the end of February,” Baltimore resident Sheryl Harrison wrote in the group, posting her total past due amount from her electricity bill that tops nearly $6,100.

Trump Begins Quiet NATO Drawdown as Greenland Clash Exposes One-Sided Alliance

Amid sky high tensions with globalist Eurocrats over Greenland, the Trump administration has begun a quiet but consequential rollback of America’s military footprint inside NATO, signaling a broader rethinking of Washington’s long-standing role as Europe’s sole security guarantor.

The move comes amid rapidly escalating tensions with western EU ‘allies’ (i.e. liberal globalists who’ve attempted to sabotage Trump at every step of his presidency) over Greenland, defense spending, and what President Trump increasingly views as a one-sided alliance.

According to a report from The Washington Post, which cites multiple officials, the Pentagon is preparing to eliminate roughly 200 American military positions embedded within NATO command and advisory bodies. These personnel cuts will affect several of the alliance’s most influential planning centers, including intelligence, special operations, and maritime command structures.

The reductions will be carried out primarily by declining to replace American officers as their assignments end, rather than through abrupt withdrawals. While modest in raw numbers, the cuts will significantly reduce America’s role inside NATO’s decision-making architecture.

Among the entities impacted are the NATO Intelligence Fusion Centre in the United Kingdom, the Allied Special Operations Forces Command in Brussels, and STRIKFORNATO in Portugal, which coordinates maritime operations. In total, roughly half of the American personnel assigned to these bodies will be removed.

American force posture in Europe will technically remain near 80,000 troops, just above the threshold that would require congressional approval for deeper reductions.

The move, for the Trump administration, reflects a long-standing argument: Europe must take responsibility for its own defense, and if it doesn’t, it ought to stop lecturing America or acting like a global player.

Pentagon officials allegedly have privately told European diplomats that America expects Europe to assume the bulk of conventional defense capabilities—intelligence, missile defense, and logistics—by 2027, a timeline many European leaders admit is unrealistic.

The personnel cuts also align with a newly released American National Security Strategy (NSS) that prioritizes the Western Hemisphere over Europe. The document explicitly calls for reallocating American military resources closer to home, where border security, cartel violence, and hemispheric stability now dominate strategic thinking.

Prime Minister of Greenland Warns Population to Prepare for a Possible US Military Invasion

It’s expected that US President Donald J. Trump will meet with an array of European leaders tomorrow (21) in Davos, Switzerland, to address the most urgent geopolitical question of our times: the US’s move to take over the Arctic Island of Greenland.

Among the leaders expected to be present, the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and her Greenlander counterpart Jens-Frederik Nielsen, who is NOT waiting for any meeting to start preparing for the ‘worst’.

Nielsen has told the Arctic island’s population and its authorities to ‘start preparing for a possible military invasion’.

Bloomberg reported:

“’It’s not likely there will be a military conflict, but it can’t be ruled out’, Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen said at a press conference in capital Nuuk on Tuesday.”

Greenland will form a task force to deal with disruptions to daily life, the PM said.

The government will issue a recommendation to stock food for at least five days in people’s homes.

“Trump has said he needs to own Greenland for security reasons and had earlier on Tuesday posted an AI-generated image of himself planting a US flag on the island. Greenland, with a population of 57,000, is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, but has its own government overseeing most aspects of life bar defense and foreign policy. Denmark has in recent days deployed more troops in Greenland to boost Arctic defense.”

Physicists Have Achieved Quantum “Alchemy” by Exciting Electrons to High-Energy States

A promising—and powerful—new engineering breakthrough could soon enable researchers to alter the properties of materials by exciting electrons to higher-than-normal energy levels.

In physics, Floquet engineering involves changes in the properties of a quantum material induced by a driving force, such as high-powered light. The resulting effect causes the material’s behavior to change, introducing novel quantum states with properties that do not occur under normal conditions.

Given its promising applications, Floquet engineering has remained of interest to researchers for many years. Now, a team of scientists from the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) and Stanford University says they have developed a new method for achieving Floquet physics that is more efficient than past methods that rely on light.

21st Century Alchemy?

Professor Keshav Dani, a researcher with OIST’s Femtosecond Spectroscopy Unit, said in a statement announcing the breakthrough that the team’s new approach leverages what are known as excitons, which have proven far more powerful in coupling with quantum materials than existing methods “due to the strong Coulomb interaction, particularly in 2D materials.”

Because of this, Dani says, excitons “can thus achieve strong Floquet effects while avoiding the challenges posed by light.” The team says this offers a novel means of exploring various applications, which include “exotic future quantum devices and materials that Floquet engineering promises.”

Such unique phenomena could enable material science applications that are almost akin to alchemy, in that the concept of creating new materials simply by shining light on them sounds more like science fiction than even the most advanced 21st-century engineering.

Floquet Engineering

In the past, Floquet effects have remained elusive in the lab, although investigations over the years have demonstrated their promise, provided they can be achieved under practical conditions. However, a major limiting factor has been reliance on intense light as the primary driving force, which can also lead to damage or even vaporization of the materials, thereby limiting useful results.

Normally, Floquet engineering focuses on achieving such effects under quantum conditions that challenge our usual expectations of time and space. When researchers employ semiconductors or similar crystalline materials as a medium, electrons behave in accordance with what one of these dimensions—space—will allow. This is because of the distribution of atoms, which confines electron movement and thereby limits their energy levels.

Such conditions represent just one “periodic” condition that electrons are subjected to. However, if a powerful light is shone on the crystal at a certain frequency, it represents an additional periodic drive, albeit now in the dimension of time. The resulting rhythmic interaction between light (i.e., photons) and electrons leads to additional changes in their energy.

By controlling the frequency and intensity of the light used as this secondary periodic force, electrons can be made to exhibit unique behaviors, which also cause changes in the material they inhabit for the time during which they remain excited.
