In Beijing, Netanyahu looks to ‘marry Israel’s technology with China’s capacity’

On the second day of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit here, Israel and China took further steps to strengthen economic and scientific relations.

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong said Beijing and Jerusalem had agreed to upgrade bilateral relations, including by forming an “innovative comprehensive partnership” meant to “bring the ties and the cooperation between the two countries to new heights,” according to the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.

“Innovation cooperation is a highlight of our bilateral relations,” Liu said at the conclusion of the third meeting of the China-Israel Committee on Innovation Cooperation, held at Beijing’s Diaoyutai State Guest House.

Liu said she had visited Israel twice and was “deeply impressed” by its culture of innovation.

“You’re a global leader in research and development,” she said.

Israeli and Chinese ministers and top officials signed 10 bilateral agreements in health, science, education, environmental protection and other areas.

“We want to marry our technology with China’s capacity,” Netanyahu said at the summit.

“We in Israel are eager to share with China our science and technology that can better the lives of all mankind, and the people of China,” he said.

Addressing dozens of Israeli and Chinese government officials, industry leaders, university presidents and private businesspeople, Netanyahu called on Beijing to accelerate the pace of negotiations over an Israel-China free trade agreement, which started exactly one year ago.

Netanyahu said that in today’s world everything is becoming technologized and that therefore all countries need to innovate. He hailed Israel’s startup scene, highlighting Intel’s recent acquisition for $15 billion of Jerusalem-based autonomous driving company Mobileye, adding that Israel is home to 500 additional companies “that do the same thing. A few years ago we had nothing.”

Israel and China both have old, rich histories and traditions, and are committed to improving themselves and advancing technological innovation, he said.

“We have deep roots, but we seek for the sky, for the future. And that means science and technology,” the prime minister added.

COUP D’ÉTAT IN VENEZUELA? Heavy Gunfire in Caracas, Anti-Aircraft Artillery Firing Non-Stop – Armed Groups Moving Through the City, Clashing With Government Troops

The Bolivarian regime seems to be eating itself, now.

Monday night erupted in heavy firefights in Caracas, more specifically in areas of Miraflores, where the presidential palace is located.

This comes a mere hours after the interim president, Delcy Rodríguez, was formally sworn in.

Rumors have been circulating that Maduro’s right-hand man, Diosdado Cabello, was planning a coup d’état against Rodríguez.

Apparently, her first decisions were not to the liking of the generals of the highly ideological Bolivarian Armed Forces of Venezuela.

Diosdado controls many of the ‘colectivos of Venezuela’, far-left, heavily armed paramilitary groups operating independently of the Government.

There’s Compelling Evidence That Someone Connected to the Trump Administration Profited Off the Invasion of Venezuela by Placing Large Bets on Polymarket

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi have long garnered a reputation for facilitating cheating and insider trading — allowing an athlete, for instance, to place a bet on a game they could then lose on purpose.

Now there’s compelling evidence that someone with inside information about the Trump administration’s regime change plans in Venezuela used that foreknowledge to profit massively from the conflict.

As spotted by researcher Tyson Brody, an unidentified user bet tens of thousands of dollars on various predictions that Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro would be imminently “out” or that the US forces would show up “in Venezuela by” a specified date during the runup to the incursion.

The account “existed for only one week and quickly became the biggest ‘yes’ holder in the Maduro out market,” Brody tweeted.

The evidence of insider trading is compelling, to say the least, given the highly suspicious timing. The account invested over $30,000 less than two days before the United States launched its invasion to kidnap Maduro and his wife and “profited $400,000 in less than 24 hours,” as sports entrepreneur Joe Pompliano calculated in a post on Bluesky.

“Seems pretty suspicious!” he added. “[Secretary of defense] Pete Hegseth making some beer money on the side?” Brody joked.

“Insider trading is not only allowed on prediction markets; it’s encouraged,” Pompliano argued.

Who was behind the Polymarket account remains a mystery. Accounts on markets like Polymarket are anonymous, and payouts are in cryptocurrency, making them hard to track.

As Semafor reported over the weekend, news organizations also had early intel of the US raid on Venezuela, but held off publishing the information so as not to put US troops in danger.

In other words, could it have been an insider at a New York or Washington newsroom who was trying to make a buck — or was it an operative inside the Trump administration?

Prediction markets have long raised concerns over exactly these types of situations. Case in point, one Polymarket user made $1 million in 24 hours in early December after betting on Google’s 2025 Year in Search rankings. Per Forbes, the account had a “near-perfect record of 22 correct predictions out of 23 attempts.”

As The American Prospect points out, critics of the Trump administration have long accused officials of dabbling in similar behavior. The administration has also allowed the prediction market to flourish by dropping enforcement cases in the crypto world and failing to introduce meaningful regulations.

Even Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), which owns the president’s social network, Truth Social, entered the prediction markets business last year, showing a pointed appetite for the space.

“Of course insiders shouldn’t be able to get rich off of policy decisions — but even more concerning is the possibility that people are skewing policy outcomes in order to make their bets pay off,” Demand Progress executive director Sean Vitka told The American Prospect.

One thing’s for sure: while insiders profit, those without that privileged information lose out — and when the bets are on a deadly conflict, innocent people stand to suffer as well.

Ohio Police Release Video of Person of Interest in Mysterious Killing of Dentist and Wife

Columbus, Ohio, police released new video of a ‘person of interest’ in the mysterious killing of a dentist and his wife.

As previously reported, a dentist and his wife were gunned down in their Columbus, Ohio, home last week, and police still have not identified a suspect.

Dr. Spencer Tepe, 37, and his wife Monique Tepe, 39, were found shot to death in their home last Tuesday morning after police conducted a welfare check.

Their two children were found in the home crying, but were not physically harmed.

Police were called to conduct a welfare check after Dr. Tepe, who was known for being punctual, failed to show up to work at Athens Dental Depot.

Athens Dental Depot owner, Dr. Mark Valrose, told 911 dispatchers that Dr. Tepe always shows up to work on time.

“He is always on time and he would contact us if there was any issues,” Dr. Valrose told dispatchers, according to WSYX. “I don’t know how else to say this but we are very very concerned. This is very out of character for him. We can’t get in touch with his wife, which is probably the more concerning thing.”

Police said there was no sign of forced entry, and no weapon was found at the scene of the crime, so they don’t believe it was a murder-suicide.

Dr. Tepe was shot multiple times, and his wife suffered one gunshot wound to the chest.

New footage released by Ohio police shows what appears to be a male wearing a dark colored hoodie and jeans walking down an alley near the Tepe’s home during the time of the double homicide.

“Detectives believe the murder of Mr. and Mrs. Tepe occurred sometime between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m. on the morning of December 30th in the upstairs of their residence. Recovered video footage shows a person of interest walking in the alley near the Tepe’s residence during that timeframe,” Columbus, Ohio, police said on Facebook.

“We have received and are continuing to receive numerous tips from the community, which our detectives are following up on. If you have information that could lead to the identity of the person in this video, please call 614-645-2228 or use the QR code provided. Anonymous tips may also be made to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477,” the police said.

“We want to thank the community for the tips we have received. We know there are questions and concerns surrounding this tragic incident. Detectives are working diligently to solve this case. We will continue to update you as the investigation progresses,” the police added.

HHS ENDS Biden’s Massive Child Care FRAUD Scheme That Let States Pay Providers Without Verifying Attendance

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has officially moved to dismantle a sweeping Biden-era child care scheme that allowed states to shovel billions in federal dollars to child care providers without verifying whether children were actually present, a reckless policy now linked to massive fraud investigations, particularly in Democrat-run hellholes like Minnesota.

Under the leadership of President Trump, HHS, through its Administration for Children and Families, is rescinding provisions of the 2024 Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) rule imposed under Joe Biden.

“Congress appropriated this funding to support working families and ensure children have safe places to grow and learn,” said HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“Loopholes and fraud diverted that money to bad actors instead. Today, we are correcting that failure and returning these funds to the working families they were meant to serve.”

The Biden regime’s insanity included:

  • Forcing payments on enrollment alone, not verified attendance
  • Mandating upfront cash to providers before any care was even provided
  • Push states toward provider contracts instead of parent-directed vouchers

But under President Trump’s triumphant return and HHS’s new rule changes:

  • Attendance-based billing is BACK! States can now demand proof that kids are actually there before handing over a dime.
  • No more free money upfront! Payments after services
  • Parental choice restored! Vouchers over crony contracts

The New York Post reported:

The President Biden rule took effect on April 30, 2024, meaning more than $19.3 billion in taxpayer dollars over 20 months may have been spent before President Trump could correct provisions that could have prolonged massive day care fraud in Minnesota.

[…]

Between 2021 and 2024, the Administration for Children and Families shelled out more than $91.8 billion from its Child Care Development Fund (CCDF), a federal block grant program that helps fund child care in states, US territories and tribes, per HHS data.

A whopping $56 billion went out the door just in 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The officials froze all future funding from CCDF — the third-largest block grant program after Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grants — last week until states can verify there is no fraud.

[…]

More than a decade before, HHS’ Office of Inspector General audited states and found tens of millions of dollars were being erroneously paid out to child care centers.

The consequences of Biden’s lax rules are playing out most dramatically in Minnesota, where allegations have surfaced that daycare providers collected hundreds of millions of dollars for children who never showed up or didn’t exist at all.

US spy jet mysteriously circles drug smuggling hotspot off Mexico’s coast as Trump threatens military action

The US Navy’s P-8 Poseidon was spotted circling a drug-smuggling hub off Mexico‘s coast on Monday morning.

Flight tracking websites spotted the aircraft conducting surveillance and reconnaissance operations miles offshore from Tijuana.

The city has long been plagued by violent organized crime and is considered a major corridor for cartel operations.

The P-8 took off from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Washington, flew through Oregon and California, made several loops off the Mexican coast and southern California, and then returned to base.

Equipped with advanced sensors capable of detecting both surface and underwater targets, the P-8 is often used to monitor suspicious vessels and maritime movements.

The flight comes just days after Donald Trump issued a warning to Mexico over drug trafficking, suggesting a military action similar to one carried out in Venezuela over the weekend.

The President said drug cartels continue to dominate large parts of Mexico and criticized the government for failing to confront them decisively.

‘The cartels are running Mexico, whether you like it or not,’ he said. ‘It’s not nice to say, but the cartels are running Mexico.’

“More to Come” – HHS Deputy Secretary Hints Something Big Is Coming as Questions Swirl Around Somali UN Ambassador’s Ties to Ohio Health Agency Convicted of Medicaid Fraud

The Trump administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is signaling that major revelations are imminent involving Somalia’s sitting ambassador to the United Nations, a man who now presides over the UN Security Council while allegedly tied to an Ohio healthcare company convicted of Medicaid fraud.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported on troubling new evidence showing that Abukar Dahir Osman, Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, once worked deep inside Ohio’s Medicaid bureaucracy and later ran — or was formally associated with — an Ohio home healthcare company now appearing on a federal fraud exclusion list.

Osman, often referred to by the nickname “Baale,” has served as Somalia’s UN ambassador since 2017. As of this month, he holds one of the most powerful rotating posts in global diplomacy: President of the UN Security Council.

In that role, Osman:

  • Oversees Security Council meetings
  • Sets the Council’s agenda
  • Manages resolutions and presidential statements
  • Speaks for the A3+ bloc (African nations plus Caribbean representation) on major global conflicts, including Afghanistan and Yemen

But long before wielding global authority in New York, Osman built his career inside Ohio’s taxpayer-funded welfare and Medicaid system.

Dems Screeched for Maduro’s Ouster—Until Trump Delivered It

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is rushing to block President Trump’s successful operation to arrest Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, labeling it “lawlessness” and a violation of congressional authority—despite Schumer himself and a string of Democrats and their media mouthpieces previously blasting Trump for failing to end the Maduro regime.

With Maduro now in custody and the U.S. overseeing a transition in Venezuela, Democrats have immediately cried foul, with Schumer appearing on ABC’s “This Week” to decry the move as unauthorized nation-building that will cost American lives and dollars.

Schumer declared, “The American people this morning are scratching their heads in wonderment and in fear of what the president has proposed,” adding, “We have learned through years when America tries to do regime change and nation building in this way, the American people pay the price in both blood and in dollars.”

Zohran Mamdani Appointee Calls to ‘Seize Private Property’ and Describes Home Ownership as White Supremacy

In a newly resurfaced video from 2018, Zohran Mamdani’s new ‘Tenant Advocate’ appointee in New York City, advocated for seizing private property and implied that home ownership is white supremacy.

She talks about how property is going to be collectivized and says it will mostly affect white people.

Do the people of New York City even realize what a completely insane band of radicals they have just put in power?

The New York Post reports:

Zohran Mamdani’s new NYC tenant advocate called to ‘seize private property,’ blasted homeownership as ‘white supremacy’

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s newly appointed tenant advocate called to “seize private property” and blasted homeownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” in a series of pro-Communist social media posts.

Cea Weaver, Mamdani’s new director of the city Office to Protect Tenants, made the statements and urged her followers to elect more Communists in several lecturing posts on her now-deleted X account that were unearthed by internet sleuths.

“Seize private property!” she said on June 13, 2018.

“Private property including any kind of ESPECIALLY homeownership is a weapon of white supremacy,” she said then.

Weaver also pushed to “Elect more communists” in December 2017 — when a Harlem street corner was being renamed in honor of former Manhattan Rep. Vito Marcantonio, who was a Communist.

Are Newborns Next in Line for Britain’s Digital ID Push?

Congratulations! It’s a boy. Or a girl. Or maybe it’s a biometric data point waiting to happen, ready for tagging and cataloging before it’s even burped.

That’s right, folks: the UK Government is now toying with the idea of slapping digital IDs on babies at birth. Not metaphorically. Literally.

This is the UK, where your child’s first toy might be a state-linked QR code.

Ministers, we are told, have been whispering about extending Keir Starmer’s beloved digital identity scheme to include every single British infant.

But yes, this is real. Cabinet Office minister Josh Simons, who seems to be suffering from a severe case of “government by Black Mirror,” has been conducting private meetings on the topic.

The sort of meetings where you’re told to leave your phone at the door and pretend nothing happened. According to people present, jaws were dropping. Probably because the conversation had leapt from employment verification to baby barcoding faster than you can say “authoritarian drift.”

But don’t worry, Starmer says this is all about simplifying bureaucracy.

Let’s not forget how this all started: the Government insisted, hand on heart, pinky swear, that the digital ID scheme was only about immigration. Stop illegal working. Crack down on dodgy landlords. Check the papers. You know the script.

But now, somehow, without so much as a public debate or even a badly photoshopped leaflet, we’ve leapt from immigration controls to putting every British citizen on a digital leash from cradle to grave.

One source said: “You could see jaws dropping around the room,” The Times reported.

Former Conservative minister Sir David Davis was less diplomatic, describing the scheme as “creeping state surveillance,” and the ministers behind it as “stupid” and dazzled by their own gadgets.
