Congress Is Preparing To Surrender American Sovereignty on the Eve of America’s 250th Anniversary

The United States Congress, on the very eve of the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence from Great Britain, is preparing to formally diminish American independence and sovereignty through a proposed merger and long-term integration of executive functions throughout the government, coordinated by the Department of Defense.

Treacherous provisions in the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) mandate that the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Commerce Department, and the heads of other relevant Federal departments and agencies cooperate with their Israeli counterparts for the purpose of consolidating U.S. and Israeli military activities in order to align efforts and avoid duplication.

The greatest threat to American sovereignty rarely arrives wearing the uniform of a foreign army. It often arrives through the complacency, expediency, or poor judgment of elected officials who fail to recognize the long-term consequences of the powers they surrender.

Whether motivated by political convenience, misplaced loyalty, or simple inattention, such actions can erode constitutional self-government just as surely as deliberate acts of betrayal.

No foreign nation, regardless of whether it is Israel, Britain, Canada, France, or Japan, should be integrated into permanent executive, military, technological, intelligence, and research structures in a manner that diminishes American sovereignty and democratic accountability.

The Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) recently identified Israel as a counterintelligence threat.

Under ordinary circumstances, such a finding would prompt heightened scrutiny, caution, and congressional oversight. Instead, Congress has continued advancing provisions in the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would deepen military, technological, and strategic integration between the United States and Israel.

The legislation specifies Israel-U.S. coordination with America’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the Missile Defense Agency, including the Golden Dome initiative, the United States Space Command, directed energy programs, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and other critical technologies that will shape the future distribution of power.

Of all the areas mentioned, artificial intelligence and biotechnology may have the greatest long term implications. These technologies will shape privacy, surveillance, predictive policing, digital identity systems, biosecurity, human enhancement technologies, and information control.

The Founders could never have imagined artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, or biotechnology directed by algorithms. Yet they understood a timeless truth: power must remain accountable to the people. The danger of our age is not merely that authority may concentrate in governments, corporations, or military institutions. It is that decisions of profound consequence may increasingly be delegated to technological systems that operate beyond the understanding and oversight of those whom the Constitution entrusts with governing.

Denmark Moves to Ban Islamic Call to Prayer, Minister Says Country Should Not Sound Like Pakistan

Denmark is considering a nationwide ban on the Islamic call to prayer, with the country’s immigration minister saying it should not be heard “over Danish rooftops.”

Morten Bødskov said the government will reopen an investigation into whether the noise can be legally prohibited across the country.

“The call to prayer should not be heard over Danish rooftops,” Bødskov told Danish news agency Ritzau.

“It has no place in Denmark, and you shouldn’t be in any doubt whether you’ve ended up in a suburb of Islamabad when you walk around Denmark.”

The Adhan is traditionally recited five times a day to call Muslims to prayer. In some countries, it is broadcast through loudspeakers attached to mosques or minarets.

Bødskov said the review will examine whether a ban can be introduced while complying with Denmark’s constitutional protections for religious freedom.

How Government ‘Affordability’ Turns an $18 Antibiotic Into $2,500

Nothing makes anything less affordable than a government promise to make something more affordable, and a Texas pharmacist revealed this week how an $18 generic antibiotic gets listed for $2,500. But from there, things get so seriously stupid that you just know there must be a government program involved.

Brad Hart, along with his wife Glenda, own Forest Park Pharmacy in Fort Worth, so he knows a thing or two about how the system works — and just how dysfunctional it is.

“A family came in wanting to transfer their kid’s antibiotic to us,” he posted to X earlier this week. “The child had already STARTED the course. Then, mid-treatment, the insurance company decided the last 14 tablets suddenly needed a ‘prior authorization’ before the other pharmacy could hand them over.”

All this for Linezolid, a generic antibiotic that costs Forest Park $18.

Why all the fuss for something so inexpensive?

Hart explained, “Insurance and the PBMs [Pharmacy Benefit Manager] behind them price drugs off a number called AWP — ‘Average Wholesale Price.’ People in my industry have another name for it: ‘Ain’t What’s Paid.’ It’s a benchmark number, not a real-world cost. On paper, the AWP for just those last 14 tablets is about $2,500.”

“The system that’s supposedly ‘protecting’ this family from cost is the same system that inflated an $18 medication into a $2,500 line item, then slapped a prior auth on it to “review the expense” THEY invented,” Hart continued. “They manufactured the problem, then billed everyone for the privilege of solving it.”

PBMs and AWPs were unfamiliar to me, so I asked Grok to explain how they work and why they exist.

The short version is that Washington’s tax incentives and Affordable Care Act (thanks, Obama!) mandates push everything into third-party insurance, disconnecting patients from real costs. Medicare Part D (thanks, W!) and weak transparency rules empower PBM middlemen (another Washington creation) to profit from fictional AWP benchmarks, delaying care and sucking up tax dollars while also overcharging sick people.

You get robbed coming and going.

Really, what the insurance companies do here is play arbitrage games enabled by government meddling in the name of affordability. That’s why Forest Park Pharmacy doesn’t take insurance and just sells medications at a market-rate markup from their wholesale cost.

One solution — and this is exactly what I used to do — is to buy bare-bones high-deductible health plans with catastrophic coverage and pay cash for everything else. But I can’t do that anymore because Obamacare made those plans mostly illegal or unobtainable.

Why, it’s almost as though the entire system were geared for price-gouging.

NO PENSIONS, NO WARSHIPS: Broken Germany To Raise Retirement Age to 70, as Plans Are Scrapped for Its Frigate Program That Already Cost Taxpayers $2.6 Billion

Germany is down and out.

13 months into his Chancellorship, Friedrich Merz is polling as the most unpopular German head of government in modern times.

That apparently does nothing to tamp down his cocky self-confidence and sense of self-importance, which so annoy the public.

And things may be about to take a turn for the worse as the German financial reality is biting.

To begin with, Germany is considering raising its pension age from 67 to 70 – the kind of move that set France ablaze for months while Emmanuel Macron tried to pretend all was great.

Germany is Europe’s largest economy, but it is stagnant, and the public finances are collapsing, so a ‘government-appointed commission’ has recommended a ‘radical overhaul of the pension system’.

The Telegraph reported:

“The commission, whose proposals are set to be presented to Friedrich Merz, the German chancellor, on Tuesday, has suggested incremental increases to the pension age every decade according to ‌life ‌expectancy, rising to 70 by 2092 under its current calculations.

They propose a 2:1 ratio formula. For every additional year of statistical life expectancy gained by the population, eight months must be spent working and four months can be spent in retirement.”

Currently, Germany takes the contributions taken from current workers to fund the pensions of current retirees, but the former keeps shrinking, while the latter keeps growing.

“We want to reform our country in such a way that future generations, young generations, also have the opportunity to live in freedom, in peace and in prosperity,” said Mr Merz last week.

[…] The commission also wants to reduce the number of gold-plated civil servant pensioners who receive an average of more than €40,000 (£35,000) a year. A recent calculation by Welt newspaper found the annual cost of these pensions, which teachers in many states can access, to be €67bn (£58bn).”

Rand Paul Issues Subpoena Forcing Fauci to Testify Under Oath

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Monday subpoenaed Dr. Anthony Fauci to testify publicly next month before the U.S. Senate, after Fauci backed out of a voluntary appearance.

Fauci will have to testify before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs, which Paul chairs.

“Today, I have issued a subpoena requiring him to testify before the Committee, in public, next month,” Paul wrote in a post on X on Monday.

An inside source with knowledge of Paul’s plans told The Defender on condition of anonymity that Fauci is expected to testify under oath about “everything” — from his involvement in funding gain-of-function research that may have created COVID-19 to the subsequent cover-up of a possible lab leak.

In an interview with Semafor, Paul said he will also ask Fauci about the destruction of federal records and about the preemptive pardon former President Joe Biden granted him last year.

The pardon shields Fauci from federal prosecution for his official acts dating back to 2014.

“He’s been slow-walking information to us for six months or more,” Paul told Semafor. “We’ve been negotiating over the date for several months. He agreed, then he said he wouldn’t. So, I think it’s time that we bring him in. I think there’s a lot to discuss.”

Speaking to CNBC’s “Squawk Box” today, Paul credited U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for aiding in Paul’s COVID-19 origins investigation.

“We’ve gotten more evidence over the last year. From the Biden administration, they revealed nothing. From the Trump administration, particularly with Secretary Kennedy, we’ve gotten a lot of information,” Paul said.

Pakistani firm ordered to demolish illegal Saitama mosque

Municipal authorities in Kawagoe City have issued a corrective directive demanding the removal of a newly constructed mosque, declaring it an illegal structure built without permits on restricted land, reports the Sankei Shimbun (May 31).

The facility, named Japan Jama Masjid Ramzan, sits in the city’s Shimo-Akasaka district. Despite its unauthorized status, the mosque held a grand opening ceremony on April 3, an event reportedly attended by the Pakistani Ambassador to Japan.

According to the city’s Development Guidance Division, the mosque was erected in an “Urbanization Control Area” — a designated zone where development and construction are strictly regulated under the City Planning Act. The builders never submitted applications or received permission to build.

City officials first learned of the rogue construction in October following complaints from local residents. By the time officials arrived, the exterior of the building was already largely complete.

Despite repeated demands from the city to halt construction, the warnings were ignored.

“Initially, the situation continued where the workers would just tell us, ‘Nihongo wakaranai‘ (I don’t understand Japanese),” a city official said. “Our staff went to the site numerous times to explicitly tell them that building there was prohibited.”

Because the structure remains unregistered and its exact owner technically unknown, the city issued its directives to the landowner. In March, ownership of the plot was transferred from a Fujimi City real estate agency to a company headed by a Pakistani national, with its headquarters listed at the same site.

British Cop Banned from Policing for Having Christian Book in Work Locker Wins Settlement

A former British police officer who was banned from serving after asking questions about Islam has reached a settlement with the police force that banned him.

“I am pleased to have now reached a settlement, I want to move on with my life but believe radical national change is needed in our police force,” former officer Luke Salmons said, according to the BBC.

Salmons ran afoul of the rules when during an October 2024 training session he asked some hard questions about Islam.

“The whole day was pretty much about Islam. At one point the trainers walked up and down the room for several minutes saying ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ over and over again. It was bizarre,” he said.

A Muslim sergeant invited him to a discussion over coffee after a private lunch conversation. To be prepared, Salmons brought a copy of “Answering Jihad — A Better Way Forward” by Nabeel Qureshi, an ex-Muslim turned Christian, to work with him.

Two officers photographed the book, and the next day, the hammer fell when an inspector took him aside.

“She took me in a room, deliberately said to me, ‘I don’t like your beliefs,’ which indicates to me that she was meaning my Christian beliefs, which is discrimination towards me and my faith, which in itself is gross misconduct,” he said, according to Fox News.

Ukrainian Eastern Front Is Collapsing, 12 Villages Ordered Evacuated Near Belarus Border – Will Zelenskiy Attack To The North?

Zelenskiy just issued this statement:

I have instructed our intelligence services and military to act preemptively against the facilities that the Russians are using to expand the scale of the war.

Right now, the Russian leadership is pulling more air defense systems toward Moscow, Valdai, and Putin’s bridge across the Kerch Strait, at the expense of air defenses in other areas.

They have concentrated hundreds of launchers for S-400, S-500, and Pantsir systems in the Moscow region alone.

They have moved nearly 90 air defense launchers to Valdai from other regions of Russia, and a special air defense division is also being formed there to protect the peace and security of the Russian leadership.

For comparison, in all other directions across Russia and around its other cities, there are now only a few launchers in each location. Those are their priorities. They are protecting their own power—they are protecting the source of this war.

More than 60 Russian regions are already experiencing fuel shortages. There has also been a sharp increase in gasoline and diesel prices, assuming those fuels are even available.

Russian security services are reportedly even proposing to postpone or completely cancel the ritual of selecting candidates from the ruling party, United Russia, for the State Duma. Their next imitation of an election was scheduled for September, and according to intelligence reports, we now see that Russia is uncertain about how things will develop by then.

Postmaster General Tells Congress USPS WILL NOT DELIVER Mail-In Ballots to States That Refuse to Comply with President Trump’s Election Integrity Executive Order

The Radical Left just got hit with another major blow to their favorite election fraud vehicle.

During testimony before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday, U.S. Postmaster General David Steiner confirmed that the United States Postal Service will refuse to deliver mail-in and absentee ballots in any state that fails to comply with President Trump’s March 31, 2026 Executive Order on election integrity.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, President Trump signed the landmark “Ensuring Citizenship Verification and Integrity in Federal Elections” executive order directing the Postmaster General to establish strict new rules for election mail.

The order requires states to submit detailed manifests, including voter names, addresses, and unique barcode identifiers, at least 60 days before federal elections so USPS can verify eligibility and track ballots.

States that refuse to hand over the lists or follow the new security standards (special “Official Election Mail” envelopes with intelligent mail barcodes) will simply not have their ballots delivered by the Postal Service.

Steiner made it crystal clear under questioning from Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI):

“If a state refuses to turn their absentee voter list over to the federal government, will the Postal Service still mail their ballots under this proposed rule?”

Steiner: “Under our proposed regulation, no.”

He added that USPS would inform non-compliant states: “We would tell the state that we need the manifest.”

Scientists Warn of Vision and Nerve Side Effects from GLP-1 Drugs

Vision problems often develop quietly, with no pain or early warning, yet once eyesight is damaged it’s rarely restored. That’s why any new evidence linking popular medications to sudden changes in eye health deserves your attention. GLP-1 receptor agonists, marketed under names like Ozempic and Wegovy, are being taken by millions of people worldwide, not only for Type 2 diabetes but also as quick solutions for weight loss.

These drugs have been hailed as breakthroughs, but their effects on human health, including the eyes, tell a more complicated story. Emerging research suggests that their influence on vision could trigger unexpected harm.

For those already managing diabetes or for individuals considering these drugs solely for weight management, the stakes may be high because eye-related changes can be lasting. Understanding how they affect the delicate tissues of your eyes is central to protecting your long-term health. That is why new studies examining their role in vision changes are so important, offering insight into the risks tied to their use.
