Conservative Surrender: Italy and Switzerland Bow to Islamic Pressure, Ban Free Speech Leader Rasmus Paludan

PAY ATTENTION, AMERICA! If you think being in a conservative-led country or a so-called ‘neutral state’ will protect your right to speak out against radical ideologies, think again.

Human rights activist and Islam critic Rasmus Paludan, a Danish-Swedish politician known for his relentless stance on free speech, has once again become the target of government censorship. This time, it happened in Italy, a country supposedly led by conservatives who claim to champion Western values.

Islam – A Subject You Dare Not Speak About

The shocking truth revealed by these incidents is that Islam has become a subject so sensitive that even non-Muslim countries impose blasphemy-like restrictions to appease violent reactions. Rather than confront the problem—an imported crisis fueled by mass Islamic immigration – these countries are instead targeting the critics. It’s safer, they think, to ban the critic rather than face the backlash. This massive problem could have been prevented and even deported, as promised by the supposedly conservative Giorgia Meloni government, which has fallen woefully short of its commitments.

Italy: Conservative-Led, But Not Safe for Islam Critics

Days ago, Rasmus Paludan was stopped at Milan Malpensa Airport and denied entry into Italy. According to Paludan, he was informed by the prefect of Varese that his presence in the country could provoke anger from others. As a result, he was banned from entering Italy for five years.

“I can’t leave the airport. The prefect has decided that since other people will be angry if I’m in Italy, it’s best if I’m not allowed into the country for five years,” Paludan told RAIR Foundation.

This decision raises troubling questions about the state of free speech and the willingness of conservative governments to bow to potential threats instead of upholding the right to criticize any ideology. Instead of deporting the violent threats, Italy finds it easier to block the critic, revealing a cowardly capitulation to potential violence rather than an enforcement of democratic principles.

Justice Department Opens Criminal Investigation Into Andrew Cuomo

The Justice Department opened a criminal investigation into former New York governor – and current NYC Mayoral front-runner – Andrew Cuomo over his testimony on nursing home deaths during the Covid pandemic.

Last month House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) sent a resubmitted criminal referral to Attorney General Pam Bondi, demanding the Department of Justice pursue charges against disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for lying under oath during pandemic-era investigations.

The letter, addressed directly to AG Pam Bondi, accused Cuomo of violating 18 U.S.C. §1001, a federal statute prohibiting false statements to Congress:

On October 30, 2024, the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic (Select Subcommittee) referred former Governor of the State of New York, Andrew M. Cuomo, for making criminally false statements in violation 18 U.S.C. §1001.1

To our knowledge, the Biden Administration ignored this referral despite clear facts and evidence. Accordingly, we request you review this referral and take appropriate action. For your reference, the referral is attached to this letter.

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is the principal oversight committee of the U.S. House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.

TGP reported multiple times in 2020 how Governor Cuomo in New York implemented programs that ordered sick COVID patients back into elderly homes in the state. As a result, thousands of elderly people needlessly died in the state.

Then when the official counts of deaths in state nursing homes were requested from the DOJ, the numbers were fudged. The numbers reported were about 50% less than the real counts.

An investigation into Cuomo’s actions was put in place and Cuomo resigned as governor of the state. However, the investigation into illegal actions by Cuomo related to the huge number of nursing home deaths was dropped by both the Biden DOJ and the Manhattan DA.

“Andrew Cuomo is a man with a history of corruption and deceit, now caught red-handed lying to Congress during the Select Subcommittee’s investigation into the COVID-19 nursing home tragedy in New York,” said Chairman Comer.

Read to the letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi here. The full criminal referral can be found here and an additional supporting transcript can be found here. Review former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s transcribed interview transcript here.

Cuomo is under investigation by the DC US Attorney’s Office, according to The New York Times.

The investigation was launched last month when Ed Martin was Acting DC US Attorney. Jeanine Pirro is currently the interim DC US Attorney.

Canadian Man Euthanized Because He Had Bedsores

The coroner’s inquest into the euthanasia death of Normand Meunier continued last week in Saint-Jérôme, Québec.

The inquest examined how Meunier acquired the horrific bedsore that resulted in Meunier dying by euthanasia (Medical Assistance In Dying—MAID).

Coroner’s inquest into Québec euthanasia death of man with a bed sore.

On May 13, Leora Schertzer reported for the Montreal Gazette that:

Geneviève Paradis, a nurse who cared for Normand Meunier during his time in the ICU, testified Monday that she did not check Meunier’s bedsores, noting that the hospital was short staffed. Another nurse, Rachel Lanthier, testified she thought one bedsore was significant, but did not see any records of it in Meunier’s hospital file to make a comparison and track the wound’s growth.

Meunier’s decision to seek MAID, she wrote,

was a last resort for a patient who had been systemically neglected by Quebec’s health-care system, Patrick Martin-Ménard, the lawyer representing Meunier’s family, explained in an interview.

“The crumbling health-care system allowed the pressure wounds to reach a point at which there was no possible recovery. And that in itself, I find it to be extremely shocking,” Martin-Ménard said.

Schertzer explained the extent of Meunier’s bed sores.

Meunier, 66, was brought to the ER for a respiratory issue in January 2024 and was left on a stretcher for 96 hours. When he was admitted to the hospital, he had three bedsores that were at risk of worsening without proper care. By the time he chose to end his life two months later with MAID, the wounds spanned nearly the entire width of his buttocks, exposing his internal organs.

The Canadian Press reported on May 15 that Sylvie Brosseau, Meunier’s wife, advocated for his care but was ignored:

Brosseau says Meunier loved the outdoors and had many dreams and plans despite being quadriplegic.

All that changed after he was left on a stretcher at the St-Jérôme hospital for 96 hours and developed a severe pressure sore that never healed.

Brosseau says she repeatedly asked for Meunier to be given a special therapeutic mattress that prevents sores, but she says she felt ignored by hospital staff.

Meunier requested medical assistance in dying two months after developing the sore and died March 29, 2024.

Meunier’s lawyer, Patrick Martin-Ménard, said:

although it’s tragic Meunier had to turn to MAID because of Quebec’s crumbling health-care system, the option at least let him die with dignity.

Martin-Ménard is missing the reality that euthanasia (MAiD) is used to cover up the crumbling health-care system. Th death of Normand Meunier is one of many tragic euthanasia deaths.

USDA Approves Nebraska’s Banning Soda and Energy Drinks From Food Stamps

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins issued a waiver on May 19 restricting the use of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funds to buy soda or energy drinks in Nebraska, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said in a May 19 statement.

This is the first-ever state waiver banning soda and energy drinks from SNAP, popularly known as food stamps.

“Prior to this waiver, SNAP recipients could buy anything except alcohol, tobacco, hot foods, and personal care products,” said the statement.

The waiver, which takes effect on Jan. 1, 2026, is part of the Trump administration’s Make America Healthy Again agenda, the USDA said, adding that this “historic action seeks to reverse alarming disease trends across the country.”

One in three children between the ages of 12 and 19 is affected by prediabetes, it said. Forty percent of school-aged children and adolescents suffer from at least one chronic condition, while 15 percent of students in high school drink a minimum of one soda per day.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order in February establishing the President’s Commission to Make America Healthy Again. The agency is tasked with investigating the “root causes of America’s escalating health crisis,” including chronic disease among children, according to a White House fact sheet.

Mesa High School student barred from wearing military stole at graduation

A graduation controversy is unfolding at Arizona’s largest school district, Mesa Public Schools. School leaders won’t allow a senior at Mesa High School who is enlisted in the National Guard to wear a military stole at graduation on Thursday.

Daniela Rascon-Rivas earned the stole when she enlisted in the Arizona National Guard. “It would show my classmates that I am enlisted in the Army and that I am fighting for them, keeping our country safe from foreign and domestic enemies,” she says.

Rascon-Rivas says a Mesa High School administrator brought her down to the office last week to explain the district policy against wearing the stole at graduation. “I was disheartened. I was disappointed,” she says. “I felt betrayed.”

Mesa High sent Arizona’s Family a statement, reading in part, “Mesa High absolutely encourages families to bring their student’s stoles for photos and celebrations after the event.”

“I see no point in wearing it afterward,” Rascon-Rivas says. “The point of me wearing these stoles and cords is so that my classmates can see what I have accomplished and the accolades I have collected.”

Her father is also expressing disappointment. “When I got notice that she cannot wear the stole, that broke my heart,” says Jose Rascon.

Rascon-Rivas started a petition that’s gotten the attention of school board member Rachel Walden. “You get that one shot where you go up and grab your diploma and you do the handshake for the photo,” Walden says. “If she has her National Guard stole on, that’s going to make the night more meaningful for her. I think there’s no reason she shouldn’t be able to do that.”

Walden thinks the superintendent should step in and order the school administration to allow the military stoles on Thursday. “If they have to pull rank, then that’s what needs to be done,” she says. “Then we can address it permanently going forward by writing it into policy, if my colleagues on the board agree with that, we can pass a vote to update our policy.”

Top Democrat Doubles Down on the Biden Cover-Up

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is demanding everyone stop talking about one of the biggest political scandals of the century: President Joe Biden’s mental decline. He says it’s insensitive given Biden’s latest cancer diagnosis, a fresh scandal which was also covered up.

Jeffries clearly doesn’t know what time it is. Doubling down on the cover up isn’t going to work. In fact, it’s making things much worse.

Even the DC swamp bubble isn’t buying it anymore. From a top Axios story this morning:

Biden’s cancer diagnosis draws sympathy — and suspicion.Former President Biden’s disclosure that he had Stage 4 prostate cancer was quickly met with sympathy late Sunday. By yesterday morning, the questions – from Democrats and Republicans alike – had begun, Axios’ Marc Caputo, Alex Thompson and Tal Axelrod write.

Why it matters: The timing of Biden’s announcement, coupled with the way his handlers tried to cover up his health issues in the past, fueled speculation about how long he’d known about the cancer.

People in both parties, whether they love Biden or despise him, wondered whether the announcement was timed to change the subject after a week of reports about his physical and mental deterioration when he was president.

FDA plans to require clinical trials before approving annual COVID vax boosters for healthy people

Food and Drug Administration plans to require new clinical trials before approving annual COVID-19 vaccine boosters for healthy Americans under 65 years old.

The plan appears in a paper published Tuesday in the New England Journal of Medicine, in which FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary and Dr. Vinay Prasad, the FDA’s vaccine chief, wrote any new COVID shot must undergo placebo-controlled clinical trials, NBC News reported.

This means that the release of updated COVID vaccines for healthy children and adults this fall will likely be delayed.

We Have No Moral Obligation to Forgive or Forget the Biden Lies

What a remarkable coincidence that Joe Biden’s wranglers discovered he had cancer right in the middle of the revelations about how he was totally senile and everyone around him, including his very real doctor wife, covered it up. Yeah, right. His puppet masters knew, even if that human rutabaga didn’t. Stage IV prostate cancer doesn’t sneak up on you. It’s easy to detect. I know my PSA. It’s .07. I got it tested a couple of weeks ago. I get it tested every year. Weird that I have better medical care than the President of the United States, right? But you don’t believe that. And I don’t believe that. The hacks, frauds, and charlatans demanding that you believe that certainly don’t believe that.

The Democrat Party: It’s all a lie. It’s all a scam. They hid his likely terminal disease so he could be reelected, disclose it, quit, be hailed as a selfless hero (Hat Tip: Buck Sexton), and hand the country to that drooling half-wit vice president of his. We all know it. And we need to say it, loudly and often, regardless of how hard the whiners whine.

There are two categories of people who heard the “news” – well, it was only news to the American people – and immediately told us that we need to slow our roll on demanding accountability for the rudderless presidency in solemn deference to this ultra-convenient revelation. The first kind are nice people, too nice. Some are serial Fredocon invertebrates who always counsel weakness, submission, and silence. Some believe Christian charity requires not only prayers for him and his family but a free pass on this massive wrongdoing for everyone involved. Others have an understandable sensitivity to the subject because they had family members who suffered the same terrible illness that Joe Biden has just been revealed to have, even though everybody around him must’ve known he had it for years and simply lied to cover it up.

Well, the sissies can pound sand; they look at history and think the Vichy French were too belligerent. I’m not going to judge the others; you need to follow your conscience. But I’m also not going to listen to them. I’m going to say what I want, all the time, and I’m going to continue to point out that Joe Biden is an evil, senile, corrupt pervert, who was and is surrounded by minions interested only in retaining their prestige, power, and plunder.

Biden’s 2022 cancer ‘slip-up’ that was downplayed by White House resurfaces after ex-president’s surprise diagnosis

Former President Joe Biden’s heartbreaking prostate cancer diagnosis has drawn renewed attention to his 2022 slip-up in which he claimed to have had cancer during a public speech.

Biden’s alarming comments came during a speech about emissions from oil refineries near his childhood home in Claymont, Del., and which he appeared to blame for his cancer.

“That’s why I and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer and why for the longest time Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation,” Biden said during his 2022 remarks about global warming at Brayton Power Station in Somerset, Massachusetts.

Biden’s use of the present tense “have” raised eyebrows at the time, but former White House spokesperson Andrew Bates referred The Post to Washington Post fact-check honcho Glenn Kessler, who suggested it was a reference to “non-melanoma skin cancers.”

“Check out Biden’s medical report. Before he became president, he’d had non-melanoma skin cancers removed,” Kessler posted on X at the time in response to consternation about Biden’s cancer comment.

Jailed wife of ex-Tory councillor loses sentence appeal over Southport tweet

A childminder who was jailed for 31 months after calling for hotels housing asylum seekers to be set on fire after the Southport attacks has lost an appeal against her sentence at the court of appeal.

Lucy Connolly, who is married to a former Conservative councillor, said in an X post in July last year: “Mass deportation now, set fire to all the fucking hotels full of the bastards for all I care … if that makes me racist so be it.”

The post came after three girls were killed in a knife attack at a holiday club in Southport on 29 July, sparking nationwide unrest. It was viewed 310,000 times in three and a half hours before Connolly deleted it.

In a written judgment published on Tuesday, the appeal court judge Lord Justice Holroyde said: “There is no arguable basis on which it could be said that the sentence imposed by the judge was manifestly excessive. The application for leave to appeal against sentence therefore fails and is refused.”

He said the principal ground for appeal “was substantially based on a version of events put forward by the applicant which we have rejected”.

The former childminder was sentenced at Birmingham crown court last October after pleading guilty to a charge of inciting racial hatred.

She is married to Raymond Connolly, who was a Tory councillor for West Northamptonshire but lost his seat in May this year.

The court heard that the day before Connolly was arrested, she sent a WhatsApp message saying the “raging tweet about burning down hotels has bit me on the arse lol”. She also said she would “play the mental health card” if arrested, and would deny responsibility for the post if asked.

Naeem Valli, prosecuting, said Connolly, who had no previous conviction, also sent a message saying she intended to work her notice period as a childminder “on the sly” despite being deregistered.

She sent another tweet commenting on a sword attack that read: “I bet my house it was one of these boat invaders.”
