US Anticipating Potential Israeli Attack on Iran

The US is on high alert in the Middle East and is anticipating a potential Israeli attack on Iran, The Washington Post has reported. Amid the anticipation, the US is reducing the presence of non-essential personnel in the region.

US officials told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the military has authorized the “voluntary departure” of the dependents of US troops from locations across the Middle East.

The US is also evacuating personnel from its embassy in Iraq. A State Department official told Al-Monitor that the US is “constantly assessing the appropriate personnel posture at all our embassies. Based on our latest analysis, we decided to reduce the footprint of our mission in Iraq.”

The State Department has authorized the departure of non-essential personnel at its embassies in Kuwait and Bahrain, providing them with the option to leave rather than a mandatory evacuation.

Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ Would Boost Subsidies for Rich Farmers

It should be clear by now that, despite the assurances from President Donald Trump and his allies in government, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act—which passed the U.S. House of Representatives last month—not only won’t reduce the federal budget deficit but will in fact increase the nation’s debt load by $2.4 trillion over the next decade.

Given that Trump came into office promising to cut federal spending, it’s worth looking at how Trump’s bill does the opposite of what he and other Republicans say it does. And one of the more egregious things it does is boost corporate welfare for wealthy farmers.

“The government provides agricultural subsidies—monetary payments and other types of support—to farmers or agribusinesses,” says the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). “While some subsidies are given to promote specific farming practices, others focus on research and development, conservation practices, disaster aid, marketing, nutrition assistance, risk mitigation, and more.”

“In reality, this support is highly skewed toward the five major ‘program’ commodities of corn, soybeans, wheat, cotton, and rice,” according to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), an environmental advocacy organization. “Despite the rhetoric of ‘preserving the family farm,’ the vast majority of farmers do not benefit from federal farm subsidy programs and most of the subsidies go to the largest and most financially secure farm operations.”

The new bill will only make the problem worse: According to an analysis by the American Farm Bureau Federation, the bill “would increase agriculture-facing programs spending by $56.6 billion over the next decade,” of which “$52.3 billion is tied to enhancements in the farm safety net.”

That “farm safety net” comprises most agricultural subsidy spending in any given year. It includes price and revenue guarantees for certain crops, ensuring farmers earn a set minimum on staples like corn and soybeans, as well as crop insurance assistance, covering up to 60 percent of farmers’ insurance premiums in the event of price declines or poor harvests.

The programs are a bad deal for taxpayers—indeed, for anybody but the very wealthiest agribusinesses. “Just in the last 10 years, crop insurance agents and the 14 companies the USDA allows to sell and service crop insurance policies…received almost $33.3 billion from the federal Crop Insurance Program,” EWG Midwest director Anne Schechinger wrote in 2023. “In some years, up to one-third of crop insurance payments are made to companies and agents, not farmers.”

New Orleans Police Officer Who Shot a Puppy Will Face Trial

A Louisiana police officer who shot and killed a puppy in 2021 will now face trial, after a lengthy legal battle.

On April 10, 2021, two New Orleans Police Department officers were called to Derek Brown and Julia Barecki-Brown’s home after receiving a noise complaint. According to legal documents, as the pair approached the house, one officer, Derrick Burmaster, claimed he made “kissy noises” to attract any dogs. Believing there were no dogs nearby, the officers approached the Brown’s house. As they did so, a dog began barking, and Burmaster drew his firearm. While the other officer left the Browns’ yard after hearing the barking, Burmaster stayed, and the Brown’s two dogs then ran down the stairs of the home and approached the officers.

One of the dogs, a 16-week-old, 22-pound puppy named Apollo approached Burmaster while wagging his tail. Burmaster fired three shots at Apollo, striking the dog in his neck and chest. Hearing gunshots, the Browns came into the yard, and Derek “held Apollo as he died from the gunshot wound,” according to the couple’s lawsuit.

The couple filed a lawsuit against Burmaster and the City of New Orleans in 2022, alleging that Burmaster unconstitutionally ‘seized’ Apollo by shooting him. “It is clearly established that an officer cannot shoot a dog in the absence of an objectively legitimate and imminent threat to him or others,” the suit reads. “A twenty-two-pound Catahoula puppy, standing less than a foot and a half tall, does not present an objectively legitimate and imminent threat to police officers.”

A yearslong legal battle followed. Earlier this year, the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit ruled against Burmaster’s attempt to appeal a lower court’s decision that the case could not be thrown out on qualified immunity grounds.

“A reasonable jury could conclude that Burmaster did not reasonably believe that Bruno, a small puppy who was wagging his tail shortly before the shooting, posed a threat,” the decision reads. “A reasonable jury could further conclude that Burmaster did not reasonably believe he was in imminent danger, based on Bruno’s [sic] size, Burmaster’s ability to exit the yard, and the availability of non-lethal tools like the taser and police boots.” (The ruling appears to have confused Apollo’s name.)

Despite efforts to toss the Browns’ suit, the case is now set to go to trial. This is far from the first case of “puppycide,” where a police officer has shot a dog that posed no obvious threat to his saftey. Burmaster himself fatally shot another dog in 2012, according to The Associated Press. Earlier this month, another Louisiana police department announced that it was investigating two different incidents in which officers shot dogs. It’s not uncommon for puppycide cases to be particularly nonsensical. Last year, a Missouri man sued an officer who shot his 13-pound, deaf and blind Shih Tzu. In 2023, another Missouri family’s dog wandered away from their home during a storm. When a neighbor found the dog and called to police for help, the officer shot the dog and threw its body in a ditch, rather than simply returning it to its owners.

Department Of Homeland Security Q-9 Reaper Drones Are Orbiting Over Los Angeles

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has been flying its Predator B drones, also known by their military designation as MQ-9 Reapers, over Los Angeles as part of the U.S. government’s response to the unrest there, the agency confirmed to us on Wednesday. The flights are in response to protests that escalated to violence on multiple occasions, following a massive operation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last Friday.

Persistent aerial surveillance like this has long been controversial, with civil rights advocates saying it violates the right to privacy and undermines the Constitution. At the same time, the fact that a drone is doing it largely evokes a uniquely upsetting response. While using the Reapers over urban locales is rare, it’s not unprecedented, and manned platforms do this kind of work every day across the country.

CBP’s Air and Marine Operations (AMO) “MQ-9 Predators are supporting our federal law enforcement partners in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement, with aerial support of their operations,” spokesman John Mennell told us Wednesday afternoon in response to our query earlier this week. “Additionally, they are providing officer safety surveillance when requested by officers. AMO is not engaged in the surveillance of First Amendment activities.”

CBP had been mum about the issue for days, even though open-source reporting on social media had already presented compelling evidence of the drones’ orbits. On June 9, user @Aeroscout on X posted air traffic control (ATC) audio stating that two “Q-9s” – call signs TROY 703 and TROY 701, had passed each other in airspace over Yuma, Arizona, as one was replacing the other over Los Angeles. @Aeroscout had previously posted ATC audio of TROY 701 checking in on Los Angeles Center Sector 09. A short time later, Alaska Flight 1020 was given a traffic advisory for “drone traffic.”

Texas Governor Signs Bill To Create Ibogaine Research Consortium, Aiming To Develop FDA-Approved Psychedelic Drug

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has signed into law a bill to create a state-backed research consortium to conduct clinical trials on ibogaine as a possible treatment for substance use disorders and other mental health conditions. The ultimate goal of the project is to develop the psychedelic into a prescription drug with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, with the state retaining a portion of the profit.

“Texas is now leading the way in the United States for the evaluation of ibogaine as a potential medication that can help improve the lives of so many Americans,” the governor said at a signing event on Wednesday. He called the psychedelic “a therapy that has shown great promise in treating” conditions such as depression, PTSD and opioid use disorder.

“I’m about to sign a law that will lead to an FDA-approved drug development clinical trial that will seek approval of ibogaine as a medication for the treatment of opioid use disorder and other behavioral health conditions, especially those suffered by our veterans,” he added. “Texas will invest $50 million to support this research, and these funds can be matched by grants and private investments.”

Under the new law, approved by the state legislature earlier this month, Texas will retain a commercial interest in “all intellectual property that may be generated over the course of the drug development clinical trials,” the legislation says, with an aim of making Texas a hub for “ibogaine-related biomedical research, development, treatment, manufacturing, and distribution.”

A quarter of revenue taken in by the state from any resulting intellectual property would fund veterans programs.

Britain Launches Cross-Border Censorship Hunt Against 4chan

The UK government has taken another aggressive step in its campaign to regulate online speech, launching formal investigations into the message board 4chan and seven file-sharing sites under its far-reaching Online Safety Act.

But this is more than a domestic crackdown; it is a clear attempt to assert British speech laws far beyond its borders, targeting platforms that have no meaningful presence in the UK.

The law, which came into full force in April, gives sweeping powers to Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator, to demand that websites and apps proactively remove undefined categories of “illegal content.”

Failure to comply can trigger massive fines of up to £18 million ($24M) or 10 percent of global revenue, criminal penalties for company executives, and site-wide bans within the UK.

Now, Ofcom has set its sights on 4chan, a US-hosted imageboard owned by a Japanese national. The site operates under US law and has no physical infrastructure, employees, or legal registration in Britain. Nonetheless, UK regulators have declared it fair game.

“Wherever in the world a service is based if it has ‘links to the UK’, it now has duties to protect UK users,” Ofcom insists.

British Cops Raise Concerns About Crop Circles

A British police department in the heart of crop circle country has raised concerns about the mysterious formations that appear in the area every summer. Wiltshire Police reportedly issued a statement addressing the phenomenon that has become somewhat synonymous with the county. “While they might look impressive, creating a crop circle without the landowner’s permission is criminal damage,” they noted, stressing that “these acts can cause serious short and long-term damage to crops and fields and may also attract further illegal activity.” To that end, the department noted that the appearance of a crop formation is often followed by trespassers, prohibited deployment of drones, and even theft by ne’er-do-wells drawn to the area.

Farmers who discover a formation on their land and wish to avoid falling victim to such shenanigans, the department said, should post clear markers indicating that public visitations are not welcome. They also noted that property owners who opt to allow people to come and see any curious crop creations on their land bear responsibility for such individuals and, as such, should consult their insurance company before putting up a proverbial welcome sign. Additionally, Wiltshire Police called upon the public to report any formations they might find. Considering the crop circle community’s dedication to tracking down the latest designs as they appear, one imagines that few will go unnoticed.

House Passes Bill to Repeal D.C. Law Allowing Non-Citizens to Vote — 56 Democrats Join Republicans in Stunning Rebuke of Radical Policy

The U.S. House of Representatives just voted 266–148 to repeal Washington, D.C.’s Local Resident Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2022, which allowed non‑U.S. citizens, including potentially illegal immigrants and foreign agents, to cast ballots in local elections.

Led by Rep. August Pfluger (R‑TX), the vote drew support from 56 Democrats, proving GOP fears that D.C.’s progressive experiment threatens the sanctity of American elections.

“PASSED: My bill to prohibit noncitizens from voting in DC elections just passed the House!” Pfluger wrote on X.

He added, “It’s common sense: Only American citizens should be able to vote in U.S. elections!”

“It’s hard to go back to your district as a Democrat and say, yeah, I want foreign agents to be able to vote in our elections – ‘Oh yeah, it’s not federal elections,’ some may say. But it has an impact on the way the city is run,” Pfluger told Fox News.

“This could be Russian embassy personnel, they could be Chinese embassy personnel – a number of folks. It’s just wrong. It goes against the fabric of our society,” he added.

The bill—H.R. 884—not only strips this expanded voting bedrock but also delivers a crippling blow to the District’s autonomy by reversing reforms aimed at limiting police union powers.

In a 235–178 side vote, lawmakers restored collective bargaining rights for the D.C. Police Union—an unmistakable signal that law enforcement trumps local sovereignty.

One of D.C.’s own reps, Eleanor Holmes Norton (D‑DC), slammed the action as “paternalistic, undemocratic incursions,” condemning the vote as a calculated stunt to score headlines rather than a serious legislative priority.

China’s New AI War Academy Trains Cyber Soldiers to Target American Infrastructure

While Americans struggle with the effects of decades of open borders, Communist China has quietly launched the most dangerous military expansion in decades, establishing three specialized war academies to train a new generation of cyber warriors whose sole mission is to defeat the United States. One of the most alarming developments is the creation of the PLA Information Support Force Engineering University in Wuhan, the city that gave us the coronavirus.

This communist training center will offer ten undergraduate majors specifically designed to create AI-powered cyber terrorists, including artificial intelligence warfare programs that teach students how to weaponize AI against American military systems, power grids, and critical infrastructure. These operatives are being trained to deploy autonomous cyber weapons capable of adapting and evolving to penetrate American defenses and disrupt national security systems.

According to multiple U.S. government agencies—including the FBI, NSA, and CISA—Chinese state-sponsored hackers have already infiltrated American infrastructure networks and are actively preparing for large-scale cyberattacks aimed at crippling energy, water, transportation, and communications systems in the event of a conflict. FBI Director Christopher Wray warned that Chinese cyber operatives have “burrowed” into U.S. critical systems and are waiting for the right moment to launch a devastating strike. Congress has echoed these warnings, with House committees sounding the alarm over China’s strategic positioning inside our infrastructure and the openly militarized nature of its AI education programs.

The curriculum includes unmanned operations training to create specialists in drone warfare and autonomous weapons systems designed to target American forces without risking Chinese lives. This is asymmetric warfare at its most dangerous. Particularly concerning is the university’s data link engineering program for “informationized, intelligent, and unmanned operations,” which teaches students how to hack and control the communications systems that link American missiles, warships, fighter jets, and early warning aircraft. Imagine Chinese operatives hijacking our own weapons and turning them against us.

Other programs focus on 6G technology and electromagnetic warfare, simultaneously developing the next generation of communications while learning how to disable ours. They are building the future while planning to destroy ours. The intelligent vision engineering program trains AI specialists in pattern recognition and target identification on the battlefield—effectively teaching machines to automatically identify and strike American soldiers, ships, and aircraft.

Additional majors include big data analytics and automated command systems, aimed at producing specialists capable of processing massive volumes of intelligence to coordinate attacks against American interests worldwide. This is not education—it is militarized indoctrination, and its goal is nothing short of technological supremacy and total strategic dominance over the United States.

This Wuhan AI warrior factory represents the crown jewel of Communist China’s $245 billion military buildup specifically designed to crush American freedom. The university was created by combining elite institutions, the Information Communication Institute of the National University of Defence Technology and the Officer’s Academy of Army Engineering University, into one concentrated weapon against the United States.

Xi Jinping personally ordered this AI warfare force to “effectively support combat operations” and “integrate deeply” into China’s joint operation system targeting American forces. He is clearly preparing for “information-focused warfare” against the United States, and the regime is confident in American weakness at this critical moment.

A Disappointing Finish – Three Groups Worked Hard to Throw the South Korean Presidential Election

The outcome of the election in South Korea on June 3, 2025, was disappointing but pre-determined.  The reason for the election was routinely misreported in Western Media.

The BBC, a cauldron of left leaning drivel said, “It (South Korea) is still recovering from the martial law crisis last December, when the president, Yoon Suk Yeol, tried to orchestrate a military takeover.”

Fact Check:  False.  The purpose of the six-hour declaration of Martial Law by former President Yoon Suk Yeol was to raid the National Election Commission (NEC) to retrieve evidence of election fraud.

No one was harmed, disappeared, or arrested during the six-hour period last December when President Yoon used his Constitutional authority to declare this period.  There was not even a hint of a military takeover.

Lee Jae-myung, is the Democrat Candidate who is now the South Korean President after the June 3 election.

The Korean election made Fulton County, GA look trustworthy.  Lee performed first class street theater wearing a visible bullet proof vest and often appearing behind bullet proof glass while denouncing the “Yoon Insurrectionists” and vowing to imprison all of them.

Lee’s theatrics eerily resembled the same script of Biden and Harris after the stolen 2020 election and their creation of a fortress around the U.S. Capitol to add drama to their sparsely attended inauguration.

Lee Jae-myung’s inauguration had a very small gathering on the lawn of the National Assembly which was outnumbered by the media on the inauguration platform.  Stunning for someone who supposedly won the election by 6%.
