MILITARY INTELLIGENCE MUST BE OBJECTIVE, NOT POLITICAL

In 2003, then Secretary of State Colin Powell addressed the UN regarding Iraq’s alleged weapons of mass destruction program. “Every statement I make today is backed up by solid sources,” he said. “What we’re giving you are facts and conclusions. Clearly, Saddam Hussein and his regime will stop at nothing until something stops him.” After the invasion, it was found that the US case for WMD’s was false. However, the war could not be stopped and would cost the US trillions and thousands of servicemember lives.1

On 15 February 1898, the USS Maine exploded in Havana’s harbor. Initial intelligence concluded that it was sunk by an external explosion, presumably a Spanish laid mine. ‘Remember the Maine, and the hell with Spain’ quickly became a rallying cry and the US soon was at war with Spain. In the 1970s, new evidence pointed to a more likely cause of the explosion – an internal fire in the coal bunker. The ultimate cause may never be known, but at the time, the US was eager to have a war to gain control in Cuba and overseas territories so objective investigations were not possible at the time. The USS Maine was a convenient excuse to finally go to war.

In September 1944, the Allies tried to execute Operation Market Garden, a bold gambit to have airborne forces seize a series of bridges deep into the Netherlands to allow swift victory in the war. Eisenhower allowed Montgomery tremendous resources for the plan, which ultimately failed due to a multitude of factors including ambitious timelines and ignoring intelligence on German strength, particularly at Arnhem, the final objective. The 1977 movie A Bridge Too Far depicts how Allied politics overcame prudence and ignored intelligence:

Lt. Gen. Frederick Browning: Only the weather can stop us now.

General Stanislaw Sosaboski: Weather. What of the Germans, General Browning. Don’t you think that if we know Arnhem is so critical to their safety that they might know it too?

Lt. General Frederick Browning: See here, General Sosaboski, I should think you would have more faith in Field Marshal Montgomery’s plan.

General Stanislaw Sosaboski: Faith? I will tell you how much faith I have. I am thinking of asking for a letter from you stating that I was ordered to go on this mission in case my men are massacred.

Lt. General Frederick Browning: I see… I do see. Do you wish such a letter?

General Stanislaw Sosaboski: No… In the case of massacre: what difference will it make?

Last week, the US executed a complicated bombing mission to destroy three Iranian nuclear sites. From a technical standpoint, the mission seemed nearly flawless. No aircraft were lost and direct hits with large bombs were achieved at all of the planned objectives. However, as with any bombing mission, exact bomb damage assessment is impossible unless the US is physically on the ground where the bombs detonated. Damage assessment is complicated and the intelligence community still has assessment of the impact of the bombing on the Iranian nuclear effort ongoing. In short, the strategic impact of the raid remains to be seen.

Customs and Border Protection Raid Human Smuggling Hub in Los Angeles Linked to Iranian Terror Suspects

A massive human smuggling ring with Iranian terror ties was busted up by the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), raising more concerns about potential terror sleeper cells in America as the Iran-Israel war continues.

The CBP revealed on Friday night that it had executed a federal search warrant at a human smuggling hub in Los Angeles tied to national security threats from Iran.

During the operation, two people were arrested thanks to a combined effort from the CBP’s Special Response Team, Border Patrol tactical units, and Air and Marine Operations.

CBP noted that seven Iranian nationals were arrested at the same address earlier in the week. These included ones on the FBI Terror Watchlist and associates of an Iranian human trafficking network.

The agency also said that the house has been repeatedly used to harbor illegal aliens linked to terrorism.

This news comes as the Trump Administration made a massive nationwide bust just a few days ago, which sent shockwaves across the Internet.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Tuesday arrested 11 Iranian nationals found to be living in the country illegally, including individuals with suspected terrorist ties and significant criminal histories.

These individuals were apprehended from eight states, including Minnesota, Mississippi, Alabama, California, New York, Colorado, and Texas.

ACIP Members Push Back on CDC’s COVID Vaccine Safety Claims

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) COVID-19 vaccine work group today assured the agency’s new panel of vaccine advisers that the vaccines are necessary, effective and have no safety concerns beyond a small risk of myocarditis among an age-limited group of young men.

The new members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) pushed back on several claims made by the presenters, including the agency’s methods for assessing efficacy and safety.

They also questioned claims the group made about how dangerous the COVID-19 virus is, especially for children.

ACIP didn’t schedule a vote today on COVID-19 vaccines. The committee only heard data presentations by the work group and engaged in a question-and-answer session.

Today’s meeting was the first since U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. fired the previous 17 ACIP members and replaced them with eight (now seven) new members.

The work group members haven’t changed under the new administration.

Last month, Kennedy announced changes to the COVID-19 vaccination recommendations for children and pregnant women.

The CDC now recommends “shared clinical decision-making” between parents and providers for healthy children ages 6 months to 17 years who are not moderately immunocompromised. The agency changed its guidance on COVID-19 vaccines for pregnant women from recommended to “no guidance.”

After several hours of presentations, the work group concluded that the 2024-2025 vaccines were effective in preventing hospitalizations and critical outcomes from COVID-19 in adults, that there is robust safety surveillance with no known risks beyond myocarditis.

The group also concluded that pregnant women are at greater risk from COVID-19, and that maternal vaccination has been shown to protect infants — a claim unsupported by any data from the presentations, said Dr. Meryl Nass, who live-blogged the meeting for CHD.TV.

China’s Answer to WEF Davos: Summer Meeting of the New Champions Advances Beijing’s New World Order Vision

As you read this article, 1,700 participants from over 90 countries are gathered in China, discussing how Beijing can displace the United States as the world’s richest and most powerful nation.

Every June, while Western elites gather at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos to push globalist agendas, China hosts its own rival summit: the Annual Meeting of the New Champions, or Summer Davos. Marketed as a forum for innovation and entrepreneurship, the event serves a deeper purpose, advancing Beijing’s long-term plan to dismantle the U.S.-led international order.

Behind the veneer of business networking and technological cooperation, China uses Summer Davos to promote a multipolar world where Western influence declines, Chinese leadership rises, and China ultimately replaces the U.S. as the global hegemon.

Summer Davos began in 2007 as a collaboration between the World Economic Forum and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Its effectiveness lies in its veneer of legitimacy: operating under the WEF brand makes it easier for international participants to attend without appearing to endorse Chinese political positions. This allows Western corporate elites to engage with China’s strategic agenda while maintaining plausible deniability.

The 2025 meeting in Tianjin made this purpose unmistakably clear, as more than 1,700 participants from over 90 countries convened, the underlying message centered on “navigating a future less intertwined with Washington.”

Summer Davos began in 2007 as a collaboration between the World Economic Forum and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). What makes Summer Davos particularly effective is its veneer of legitimacy. Operating under the WEF brand, makes it easier for international participants to attend without appearing to endorse Chinese political positions. Therefore, Western corporate elites can engage with China’s strategic agenda while maintaining plausible deniability. The 2025 Tianjin meeting made China’s strategic intent clear: “navigating a future less intertwined with Washington.”

The attendee list reads like a who’s who of globalist corporate power. Major consulting firms that shape Western economic policy, including Deloitte as a Strategic Partner and Bain & Company as regular participants, send senior executives to these annual gatherings. McKinsey & Company’s Chairman for Greater China regularly appears on panels, while technology giants like Intel have leveraged the forum to announce massive investments, including a $2.5 billion semiconductor facility in Dalian. European aerospace giant Airbus used Summer Davos as the platform to establish its first final assembly line outside Europe, extending the partnership through 2025. Even more concerning, major Western financial institutions and consulting giants use these gatherings to legitimize China’s economic model while helping Beijing develop alternatives to American-led global systems.

Perhaps most telling is the regular presence of Klaus Schwab himself, the WEF founder and architect of the “Great Reset”, who personally attends Summer Davos closing ceremonies. His participation represents the ultimate validation of China’s challenge to Western-led globalism, as the very figure undermining national sovereignty lends his support to Beijing’s alternative world order.

Theory suggests that consciousness is a quantum process, connecting us all to the entire universe

Our minds feel very private and unique to each of us, yet many researchers suspect our consciousness might plug into something far bigger. A controversial new framework says a quantum entanglement trick could happen inside microtubules, the tiny protein tubes that scaffold every neuron in your head.

Mike Wiest, a neuroscientist at Wellesley College, thinks those tubes may carry quantum information that never stays put.

Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon in quantum physics where two or more particles become so deeply linked that the state of one instantaneously influences the state of the other, no matter how far apart they are.

When particles are entangled, their properties – such as spin, polarization, or momentum – are correlated in such a way that measuring one particle’s state automatically determines the other’s.

This strange connection defies classical logic and puzzled Einstein, who famously dismissed it as “spooky action at a distance.”

Despite its counterintuitive nature, scientists have experimentally confirmed entanglement countless times, and it now plays a crucial role in technologies like quantum computing and quantum cryptography.

Victim Blaming: UK Judge Uses Violence Committed Against Man as Evidence of His Guilt

A man in London was convicted of a “religiously aggravated public order offense” after HE was attacked by a triggered radical.

Hamit Coskun, a Kurdish-Armenian asylum seeker, was fined over $300 after burning a Quran outside the Turkish consulate as a protest against Turkey’s Islamist government.

Moussa Kadri attacked Coskun with a knife, knocked him down, and kicked him.

But it is Coskun, the victim of a physical attack, who is being punished.

The Westminster Magistrates’ Court held Coskun responsible, citing the violent reaction as evidence of his guilt.

Judge John McGarva stated, “Burning a religious book, although offensive, to some is not necessarily disorderly.”

“What made his conduct disorderly was the timing and location of the conduct and that all this was accompanied by abusive language. There was no need for him to use the ‘F word’ and direct it towards Islam.”

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) noted the irony of the attacker’s actions being used to convict the victim.

Last Christian Town In West Bank Attacked And Besieged By Israeli Settlers

The last entirely-Christian town in the Israeli-controlled West Bank is enduring a wave of attacks by violent Jewish settlers, a local church leader says, prompting families to flee and leading clergy to declare the town is “no longer safe” for its inhabitants. Ominously, settlers have also set up an “outpost” on the fringe of that town — Taybeh, Ramallah — a 4,500-year-old community with huge significance in the story of Jesus Christ.

“The town, which the Gospel of John (11:54) refers to as ‘Ephraim’ — the place Jesus withdrew to before his passion — is no longer safe for its people today,” Father Bashar Fawadleh, parish priest of Taybeh’s Church of Christ the Redeemer, told the Catholic, Arabic-language ACI MENA news service. “We do not live in peace but in daily fear and siege...Since last October, more than 10 families have left Taybeh due to fear from ongoing violence and harassment.”

This and other videos embedded below are circulating on social media, purportedly capturing the settlers’ latest attacks on Taybeh this week (BBC confirms an attack took place on Wednesday).

Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal Shares’ Sob Story’ About ICE Supposedly Abusing Pregnant Illegal and It Backfires when the Migrant’s Chilling Background Emerges

Far-left Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) ended up red-faced earlier this week after she tried to defend an illegal alien supposedly mistreated by ICE when the horrifying truth regarding her misdeeds was unveiled.

On Wednesday, the Nashville Banner wrote a sob story about a pregnant illegal alien named Iris Dayana Monterroso-Lemus from Guatemala, who was arrested by ICE in Tennessee in late April and then sent to an ICE facility in Louisiana.

The paper went on to allege Monterroso-Lemus received lackluster prenatal care while in custody and ended up losing her baby.

Look at this biased, so-called ‘reporting’ from the Nashville Banner:

On Mother’s Day this year, Iris Dayana Monterroso-Lemus found herself alone in Guatemala, a country she hadn’t called home in more than a decade. At 38, the once-vibrant, curly-haired woman seemed withered and shaken.

After she was arrested by ICE in Lenoir City, she ended up at the Richwood Correctional Center in Louisiana, where she experienced the unimaginable. After pleading for medical help for days, she lost her mid-term pregnancy.

“I had him inside here for three days, in this Louisiana facility, my baby dead in my stomach, inside my stomach for three days, dead,” she said.

The publication went on to connect this tragic circumstance to President Trump daring to enforce immigration laws.

Monterroso-Lemus’s experience in detention comes amid the Trump administration’s crackdown on undocumented immigrants and the mounting claims of abuse and discrimination tied to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests across the country. In Nashville, ICE and the Tennessee Highway Patrol officials recently made 588 traffic stops in predominantly Latino neighborhoods as part of a joint operation that led to the arrests of 196 undocumented residents.

Despite claims that ICE was only targeting criminals, fewer than half had prior criminal records. As the Banner reported, in the overnight operation between May 3 and 4, THP made more than twice as many traffic stops as Metro Nashville police did during both days combined, fueling allegations of racial profiling.

Jayapal promptly seized on the story and amplified it across social media.

“A pregnant woman lost her baby after ICE refused to give her prenatal care. She begged for help and was denied,” the congresswoman wrote on X. “She was fed food full of cockroaches. She was forced to sleep on the floor. “

“This is absolutely disgusting, and we should all be outraged.”

CDC Advisers Vote To Recommend Removal Of Mercury From Influenza Vaccines

Advisers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on June 26 advised the agency to stop recommending influenza vaccines containing a mercury-based preservative.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) in a series of votes reaffirmed the existing recommendation that virtually all individuals aged at least 6 months of age receive an annual influenza shot. The panel further advised, though, that individuals only receive thimerosal-free vaccines.

About 95 percent of influenza vaccines administered in the United States in late 2024 and early 2025 were free of thimerosal, according to the Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Tracy Hoeg, an FDA official, told the committee that there appear to be enough influenza vaccine doses without thimerosal for the upcoming virus season, which runs from the fall into the winter.

A spokesperson for Sanofi told The Epoch Times in an email: “We acknowledge the recommendation of the new ACIP. We now await the decision by the CDC on the path forward.

“We will have sufficient supply of Sanofi flu vaccine to support customer preference for this season.”

Seqirus, which also produces influenza vaccines with thimerosal, has not responded to requests for comment.

ACIP provides advice to the CDC’s director, who typically adopts the recommendations.

The CDC has no acting director listed on its website. President Donald Trump’s nominee for the post, Susan Monarez, is being considered by the Senate. The CDC and its parent agency, the Department of Health and Human Services, did not respond to requests for comment.

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. earlier in the year adopted some recommendations offered by ACIP.

Kennedy has long opposed vaccines with thimerosal, and the panel heard before the vote from Lyn Redwood, a past president of a nonprofit that Kennedy founded who is now listed as an employee of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Redwood said in her presentation that a number of studies have provided evidence against thimerosal, including a 2003 paper that found an association between thimerosal exposure and tics and a 2007 study that found links to several positive and several negative associations, including a lower measure of executive functioning.

“There have been studies that have found evidence of harm,” Redwood said.

Senate blocks war powers resolution for Israel-Iran conflict

The Senate voted down an attempt to take away power from President Donald Trump to incite further military action in the Israel-Iran conflict.

Senators voted largely along party lines, except Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who voted with Democrats and Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., who voted with Republicans.

Fetterman said he fully supported the strikes on Iran and that they made the world safer.

The resolution was put forth by Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va.

“I think the events of this week have demonstrated that war is too big to be consigned to the decisions of any one person,” said Kaine on the Senate floor.

War powers have sparked a debate on Capitol Hill for both Democrats and Republicans alike.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., a staunch Trump ally, voiced her opposition in TV interviews and on social media.

“Six months in, Steve, and here we are, turning back on the campaign promises, and we bombed Iran on behalf of Israel, yes it was on behalf of Israel. We are entering a nuclear war, World War III,” she said on Steve Bannon’s War Room. “No American slept better after America bombed Iran, because all of a sudden we now have threats on our homeland.”

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., criticized the strikes as “unconstitutional.” He appeared on “Face the Nation” alongside Rep Ro Khanna, D-Calif.
