Pentagon Pulls Promotion Of Admiral Who Allowed Drag Shows After Federalist Inquiry

The Defense Department is pulling the recommendation for Rear Admiral Michael Donnelly’s promotion, one week after the DoD refused to answer The Federalist’s inquiries, as the Daily Wire first reported.

“Secretary Hegseth has chosen to withdraw Admiral Donnelly’s nomination to lead [the] 7th fleet. The Secretary is thankful for his continued service and wishes him luck in his next position. The Department will open up nominations for the 7th fleet commander.”

Donnelly gained infamy for allowing drag shows aboard his ship, the USS Ronald Reagan, during Trump’s first term. The Federalist reached out to the White House to ask why Donnelly was being promoted despite his apparent opposition to Trump’s vision for the military, but did not receive a response. Upon reaching out to the Secretary of Defense’s Office with the same question, the Federalist was referred to Navy Public Affairs, which also did not respond.

On the campaign trail, Trump promised to fire woke generals and admirals, rid the military of other woke elements, and make the armed forces strong again. He even featured a video that spliced clips of Full Metal Jacket alongside Admiral Rachel Levine and Navy drag queen “Harpy Daniels” to illustrate the strength of the military under Trump versus wokeness under Biden.

“Harpy Daniels,” an openly nonbinary sailor and drag performer whose real name is Joshua Kelly, was crowned a Navy digital ambassador in 2022. In 2017 and 2018, he performed drag for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department events onboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Donnelly was the ship’s captain at the time.

Trump Admin Ends Taxpayer Subsidies For Illegal Aliens

The departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Education, Agriculture, Labor, and Justice are ending illegal aliens’ abilities to leech off the American taxpayer by taking advantage of federal programs.

The departments announced on Thursday that illegals will no longer be able to access the government programs, as they have been able to do since the Clinton administration. The Trump administration made the move to “ensure that taxpayer-funded program benefits intended for the American people are not diverted to subsidize illegal aliens,” HHS said in its announcement.

In doing so, the federal government rescinded a 1997 Dear Colleague letter that exempted such programs from being subject to the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA), which limits “federal public benefits” to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and some “qualified aliens.”

The Education Department said that the Clinton-era letter “mischaracterized the law by creating artificial distinctions between federal benefit programs based upon the method of assistance.”

The move brings various programs in line with an executive order signed by President Donald Trump called “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Open Borders.”

The White House said that the Department of Justice “is closing longstanding loopholes that have allowed illegal aliens to access taxpayer-funded benefits,” but did not go into more detail, and the department has not yet released more information.

Vegas 7-Eleven security guard sentenced to 5 to 14 years in prison for killing customer over COVID-19 protocols

A Las Vegas security guard was sentenced to spend between five and 14 years in prison for fatally shooting a customer outside a 7-Eleven convenience store during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kegia Mitchell tearfully apologized on Thursday after she entered an Alford plea for the August 2020 death of 56-year-old Thomas Martin.

“I didn’t mean to take this man’s life, I did not,” Mitchell cried out in court. “I am truly sorry from the bottom of my heart.”

The deal means she doesn’t plead guilty to the murder of Martin but acknowledges that prosecutors may have enough evidence for a conviction, according to KLAS.

Mitchell was tasked with regulating the number of customers permitted into the convenience store in Las Vegas’ northeast section on August 26 when Martin cut the line and attempted to enter.

Martin was blocked and began complaining that Mitchell was refusing to let him in while she had allowed other customers through the checkpoint.

The two began arguing as Martin cursed at the security guard, threatening Mitchell before breaking past and into the store, the outlet reported.

Mitchell grabbed the angry customer and the two shoved each other before she took out a handgun and pointed it at Martin’s face, according to security footage of the incident.

Soros Network Linked to Lawsuit Trying to Stop Trump from Ending ‘Temporary’ Amnesty Program

George and Alex Soros’s left-wing non-governmental organizations (NGOs) network is linked to a lawsuit that seeks to stop President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from ending a temporary quasi-amnesty program for tens of thousands of migrants in the United States.

This week, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for migrants in the U.S. from Honduras and Nicaragua. Last month, Noem similarly announced an end to TPS for migrants from Nepal.

Though meant to be temporary, since the Clinton administration, TPS has been transformed into a de facto amnesty program as nearly every president has routinely extended it and designated new countries for TPS status — allowing hundreds of thousands of migrants to stay in the U.S. and hold American jobs despite otherwise having no legal status.

As Breitbart News reported, migrants are now suing to block DHS from ending TPS for Honduras, Nicaragua, and Nepal. The migrants are represented by lawyers from the National Day Laborer Organizing Network and the Haitian Bridge Alliance, among other NGOs.

The National Day Laborer Organizing Network has received millions from Soros’s Open Society Foundations from 2016 through 2022. In 2019, alone, the Open Society Foundations gave the NGO about $460,000 in funding while in 2022, the NGO got $675,000 from the Open Society Foundations.

Likewise, the Open Society Foundations has showered the Haitian Bridge Alliance with $550,000 to date, with those funds coming in 2020 and 2021.

In the migrants’ lawsuit, they accuse Trump and Noem of racism — arguing that they are being targeted because they are non-white, non-Europeans.

“Although it has become increasingly normalized, the fact remains that Secretary Noem, President Trump, and members of the Trump campaign and administration have consistently used racist invective to describe their TPS decisions involving immigrants from non-white, non-European countries, including those involving the countries at issue here,” the lawsuit claims.

One Year Later, Where is The Final FBI Investigation on The Trump Assassination Attempt?

Given the recent shift in reality by the nation’s top law enforcement agencies regarding whether there is or isn’t a “client list” of the late pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, it seems completely possible that law enforcement may report that the assassination attempt on President Trump never happened.

In the event there actually was an assassination attempt in Butler PA, resembling what American’s thought they saw, one can only wonder, on the one-year anniversary of the event, when the federal investigation will be released…if ever? The problem with the administration’s law enforcement is transparency. It’s been a year since the shooting and nothing, nada, zip, a big hole in a donut.

Given the lack of investigative information, it appears that there are an awful lot of people hell-bent on not releasing all the information about what occurred on July 13th in Butler, PA. Why? There sure is a lot of information that needs to be made public.

First, what we have gleaned from all the pathetic investigations provided by the U.S. Senate, the House Task Force, the Secret Service review and a Department of Homeland Security independent review is that the Secret Service dropped the ball. Yep. These geniuses spent time and big money to concluded what every American already knew. Congratulations.

Now, what we don’t know is anything about the alleged shooter and his family. Why? The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) apparently took the lead role in the investigation, yet the last “update” provided by the FBI was last August.

The American people are told that the FBI conducted extensive investigations, gaining access to the alleged shooter’s devices, searched his residence and reviewed digital media and video footage. That’s wonderful. Good job. Where’s the final report?

How bout the FBI release its final report of its investigation, including the complete ballistics report, all DNA and fingerprint information, all information relating to the alleged shooter’s phone (including tracking his pings the day of the shooting) and, of course, the mysterious autopsy report of the alleged shooter that Congressional Task Force Chair, Congressman Kelly, says the American people can’t handle.

Note to Congressman Kelly. The American people can handle it. In fact, the American people want the facts that so far are being withheld. In a nutshell, the American people want the truth.

The FBI final report should include all the above data which should cement that Thomas Matthew Crooks was, in fact, the shooter. So far, what has been released by the Congressional Task Force does not positively identify Crooks as the shooter as none of the collected and tested projectiles have been positively identified as coming from the alleged shooter’s alleged weapon. This is no small deal.

No information as to whether Crooks’s fingerprints and DNA were on the alleged weapon has been made public. There is no video showing Crooks as the person on the roof of the AGR building. Law enforcement says Crooks is the shooter, but there is no physical evidence supporting this statement.

Without Crooks’s autopsy, it’s impossible to know if the body that was cremated was actually Thomas Matthew Crooks. Furthermore, why didn’t the FBI release the phone records of Crooks and his father. Afterall, the public has been told that the father tried contacting his son all day. Well, let’s see the evidence of those calls. That’s physical evidence that’s as easy as it gets.

And how could his parents (both reportedly mental health experts) know that their son was acting strangely in his room but didn’t notice the bombs being made in the same room? Sound just a little strange to anyone?

And let’s not forget that the Pennsylvania State Police conducted its own investigation which just happens to be classified. Why? For God’s sake! Just provide the report and let the American people decide what happened. Is Corey Comperatore’s widow allowed to see the Pennsylvania State Police report or is she being forced to sue for it? Why?

Finally, any report that is released by the FBI must explain what happened to the White Van that police surrounded that evening on the outskirts of the rally grounds where explosives were found and the van was removed by police. Was there more than one alleged assassin? Who owned the van? What happened to the owner of the van? Why didn’t the owner return to the van? Where did the owner of the van get the explosives? Whose fingerprints were removed from the van?

There are a zillion other questions that need to be answered about what actually happened last July 13th in Butler PA. Just release the report and the American people can figure out whether it’s a competent investigation of just more stonewalling. But it’s time. It’s time for the Trump Administration to release the FBI investigation about the assassination attempt on then candidate Trump. The American people are smart and will know if it’s a twist in reality. After the Epstein debacle, the American people have their antenna up.

Sweden Cracks Down On OnlyFans – Will U.S. Follow Suit?

The X-rated social media platform OnlyFans is experiencing real growth, with revenue, content, and user numbers all on the rise. The site’s over 4 million “creators” sell content – including images, videos, and personalized chats – to more than 300 million subscribers, or “fans.” It’s primarily a sex site, and claims that the platform isn’t powered by porn are usually accompanied by winks and nods to the contrary.

OnlyFans keeps a 20% cut of what users pay, boasting $1.3 billion of revenue in 2023. It’s a lucrative approach to monetizing porn consumption, but the platform just hit a legal roadblock in a seemingly unlikely country.

Sweden, which in 1971 became the second country in the world to formally legalize all forms of pornography, has not been as soft on prostitution. In 1999, the country criminalized the purchase of sex, but not the sale, in efforts to protect vulnerable women from facing stiff legal consequences.

That policy will now apply to the virtual world. As of July 1, Swedes could face up to a year in prison for paying someone for personalized online sexual services, including sexting and video content. The new law also criminalizes promoting or profiting from others who perform sex acts for payment on demand, forcing OnlyFans to pull out of Sweden.

In a country known for libertines more than prudes, the law passed with broad, cross-party support. “The idea is that anyone who buys sexual acts performed remotely should be penalized in the same way as those who buy sexual acts involving physical contact,” said Gunnar Strommer, Sweden’s Justice Minister and a member of the Moderate party.

Houthis Again Target Tel Aviv, As Israelis Plead For More US Raids On Yemen

The Houthis have clearly been ramping up their attacks on Israeli interests and assets out of Yemen, and on Thursday another ballistic missile strike on Tel Aviv was attempted.

Israel’s military said it intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, shortly after conducting airstrikes on Houthi targets. The Iran-aligned group later confirmed responsibility for the launch, calling it a “qualitative military operation” involving a ballistic missile.

As a result, multiple alert sirens were active across Israel during the dawn hours. All of this comes after the Houthis attacked and sank two commercial vessels bound for Israel, in complex operations which they boasted of and captured on film.

Israel is now reportedly formally asking the United States to renew its military strikes on the Iran-backed group, according to Kan public broadcaster..

Israel told the US that the attacks on shipping “can no longer remain solely an Israeli problem,” and called for “more intense combined attacks against Houthi regime targets — not just [Israeli] air force fighter jet strikes, but also a renewal of American attacks and the formation of a coalition including additional countries.”

“A broad coalition is needed to convey to the Houthi regime that it is in danger,” an anonymous Israeli defense official told Kan.

At the moment, the Houthis are still actively targeting Tel Aviv international airport, along with any vessel in the Red Sea bound for Israel. Ben Gurion airport has been directly hit at least once during the conflict.

President Trump had in May declared a US ceasefire with the Houthis, to the chagrin of Israel, which stepped up its own aerial attacks on Yemen.

German Court Fines Man €8,400 For Posting Banned Phrase

A court in the German town of Lindau has issued an €8,400 ($9,801) fine to a man over a post on X containing the phrase “Alles für Deutschland.” The man, identified as Andreas M., had written, “That’s exactly why I vote for the AfD. Everything for Germany,” in July of last year.

Months later, his home was raided at dawn by police, who confiscated laptops, phones, and hard drives.

According to Apollo News, authorities charged him under Section 86a of the German Criminal Code, a law banning slogans or symbols tied to unconstitutional or terrorist organizations.

While prosecutors pushed for a seven-month prison sentence, the court opted for a financial penalty. Both the state and the defense have filed appeals.

Andreas M. has stated that he was unaware of the slogan’s past use by Nazi Stormtroopers and said he intended the comment as a satirical show of support for the Alternative für Deutschland party.

His explanation was not enough to prevent prosecution. In modern Germany, the legal system increasingly treats such social media posts with suspicion.

This is not an isolated event. A growing number of Germans have faced police raids and fines over social media activity deemed offensive or unlawful in a nation without free speech protections.

The boundary between humor and criminal conduct has narrowed considerably, especially when directed at figures within the political mainstream.

In era of skepticism, FDA clears Moderna COVID vaccination for some kids up to 11 years old

In what many view as a sharp departure from the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) agenda and priorities of people like Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Marty Makary and Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, the FDA approved Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines for children, aged six months through 11 years who are at increased risk for the virus.

The FDA has approved the Spikevax vaccine for that age bracket who are at increased risk of COVID-19 disease. The approval applies to a supplemental Biologics License Application (sBLA), which means that the FDA is requesting updates or changes to an already approved biological license for a product such as a vaccine.  It’s often used for new indications, changes in dosing, new formulations or, in this case, to transition the vaccine from Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to full approval. Spikevax is a brand name used by Moderna for the vaccine.

Under Section 564 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act), when the Secretary of HHS declares that an emergency use authorization is appropriate, the FDA says it “may authorize unapproved medical products or unapproved uses of approved medical products to be used in an emergency to diagnose, treat, or prevent serious or life-threatening diseases or conditions caused by chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.”

The information sheet included in the packaging tells users or physicians that “SPIKEVAX does not contain SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. SPIKEVAX cannot give you or your child COVID-19.” It also says that the use is appropriate for patients aged 6 months through 64 years of age who are at high risk of severe COVID-19.

The FDA also authorized the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine (2024-2025 Formula) under EUA for all children aged 6 months through 11 years, targeting the Omicron variant KP.2 strain.

Supreme Court Backs Parental Rights Over School LGBTQ Books and Classes

In a landmark 6-3 decision on June 27, 2025, the Supreme Court ruled in Mahmoud v. Taylor that parents have a constitutional right to opt their children out of public-school lessons involving LGBTQ-themed storybooks on religious grounds.

Writing for the majority, Justice Samuel Alito held that Montgomery County, Maryland’s policy of requiring elementary students to participate in instruction featuring these books without allowing religious exemptions violated the First Amendment’s Free Exercise Clause.

Several of the titles at the center of Mahmoud v. Taylor have also appeared in similar lawsuits across the country, where parents, both Christian and Muslim, have sought to either remove the books entirely or at least retain the right to opt their children out.

The specific books that sparked the legal battle in Montgomery County included Uncle Bobby’s Wedding (kindergarten), about a girl adjusting to her uncle’s marriage to another man; Prince & Knight (first grade), a fairy tale romance between two men; and Born Ready (second grade), the story of a transgender child.

Other titles that have drawn objections include Love, Violet, about a girl nervous to give a valentine to another girl, and Pride Puppy, an alphabet book about a dog lost during a Pride parade.

Books challenged by parents elsewhere include Lawn Boy, Gender Queer: A Memoir, and All Boys Aren’t Blue, all of which feature explicit sexual content and gender identity themes.

Elementary and middle-grade books like King and King, Melissa (formerly George), and Julián Is a Mermaid have also faced legal and school board challenges.

Other contested titles include This Book Is Gay, ABC Pride, Heartstopper, Fun Home, It’s Perfectly Normal (a sex education book), Baby Be-Bop, The Drowning of Stephan Jones, and The Education of Harriet Hatfield.
