Top FDA Official Resigns in Disgrace After Exposé by Investigative Journalist Laura Loomer

Dr. Vinay Prasad — a radical left-wing ideologue who wormed his way into one of the most powerful regulatory roles in the federal government — has officially resigned from the Food and Drug Administration following a explosive exposé led by investigative journalist Laura Loomer.

For weeks, Loomer publicly exposed Prasad’s shocking anti-Trump rhetoric, far-left allegiances, and dangerous abuse of regulatory power.

“We have a crisis at the FDA! A wolf in sheep’s clothing is sabotaging President Trump’s bold “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) agenda!” Loomer wrote on X.

Loomer continued, “This is no mere bureaucratic misstep. It’s a catastrophic vetting failure that threatens to derail the America First healthcare revolution. Prasad’s anti-Trump rhetoric, radical left-wing ideology, and deliberate actions to obstruct our President’s deregulatory mission prove he’s a dangerous misfit. The time to act is NOW—Prasad must be REMOVED before he destroys Trump’s vision for a healthier America!”

According to Loomer:

In 2021, Prasad described himself as a “political liberal, closest to Elizabeth Warren” and a “Sanders/Warren liberal,” proudly embracing a progressive identity. He voted for Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democratic primary, and FEC records reveal he donated to Sanders’ campaign, signaling his support for radical left-wing policies.

In 2020, Prasad declared on X that he wanted “Biden to win more than anything” and confirmed he voted against Trump, solidifying his opposition to the President.

Prasad’s policy positions are a direct affront to the conservative principles underpinning Trump’s agenda. He advocates for universal basic income, student loan forgiveness, open borders, and Roe v. Wade abortion standards. He supports a 50% marginal tax rate for high earners, a wealth tax, single-payer healthcare, universally funded pre-K and community college, and expansive parental leave policies.

[..]

Prasad’s disdain for Trump is personal and vitriolic. He has called the President “perhaps the worst president in the history of the Republic.” Prasad has claimed that Trump disagreed with him “on probably 90% of issues.” He compared Trump’s family separation immigration policy to a “human rights violation” worthy of the International Criminal Court. Prasad mocked his election fraud claims as “laughable and pathetic,” and called January 6 “a terrible day.” Further, he even attacked Trump University as a “scam.” Prasad consistently refers to the President as “orange man.” This is a derogatory jab used by the radical Left to attack Trump over his tan skin. Prasad has a strong admiration for Dr. Anthony Fauci, whom he dubbed “St. Anthony of Fauci” with “profound reverence.” Thisfurther highlights his alignment with figures Trump has criticized, particularly over the COVID-19 response.

Since assuming control of CBER at the FDA, Prasad has amassed unprecedented power. He holds three key FDA roles: Chief Medical Officer, Chief Scientific Officer, and Director of CBER. Reports suggest he is under consideration to lead the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). This could make him more influential than FDA Commissioner Marty Makary. Moreover, this consolidation of authority in the hands of a Trump antagonist and avowed Leftist is a recipe for disaster. Prasad’s actions further demonstrate a clear intent to undermine President Trump’s vision.

Fascinating new neuroscience study shows the brain emits light through the skull

A new study published in iScience provides evidence that the human brain emits extremely faint light signals that not only pass through the skull but also appear to change in response to mental states. Researchers found that these ultraweak light emissions could be recorded in complete darkness, and they appeared to shift in response to simple tasks like closing the eyes or listening to sound. The findings suggest that this faint brain light may carry information about brain activity—possibly opening the door to a new way of studying the brain (photoencephalography).

All living tissues release tiny amounts of light during normal metabolism, known as ultraweak photon emissions. This happens when excited molecules return to a lower energy state and emit a photon in the process. The light is incredibly faint—about a million times weaker than what we can see—and falls within the visible to near-infrared range. In contrast to bioluminescence, which involves specific chemical reactions like those used by fireflies, ultraweak photon emissions happen constantly in all tissues, without special enzymes or glowing compounds.

The brain emits more of this faint light than most other organs because of its high energy use and dense concentration of photoactive molecules. These include compounds like flavins, serotonin, and proteins that can absorb and emit light. Photon emission rates also seem to rise during oxidative stress and aging and may reflect changes in cell health or communication.

The research team, led by Hayley Casey, Nirosha Murugan, and colleagues at Algoma University, Tufts University, and Wilfrid Laurier University, wanted to know if these faint light emissions could be used to monitor brain activity. Unlike other imaging methods that require stimulation—such as strong magnetic fields or infrared light—measuring UPEs is entirely passive. That means it doesn’t introduce anything new to the brain.

The researchers proposed that UPEs might offer a new way to monitor brain function safely and without interference, similar to how EEG tracks electrical brain waves without applying energy. They also wanted to test whether UPEs reflect mental states like resting with eyes closed or responding to sound, and whether these signals match known changes in electrical brain rhythms.

The researchers recruited 20 healthy adult participants and measured both UPEs and brain electrical activity while the participants sat in a dark room. The setup included photomultiplier tubes placed near the occipital and temporal regions of the head, where the brain processes visual and auditory information. A third sensor recorded background light. At the same time, participants wore a cap with electroencephalography sensors to record electrical brain rhythms.

Participants went through a ten-minute recording session that included five conditions. First, they sat with eyes open and then with eyes closed. Next, they listened to a simple repeating auditory stimulus, followed by another eyes-closed period, and finally another eyes-open period. The aim was to see whether brain UPEs responded to known manipulations of brain activity, particularly the shift in alpha rhythms that occurs when people close their eyes.

Photon emissions were recorded in short time intervals and analyzed for variability, frequency content, and stability over time. The team compared the results to background signals and examined correlations with electrical brain rhythms recorded at the same time.

EPA Chief Lee Zeldin to Rescind ‘Holy Grail of the Climate Change Religion’ That Led to $1 Trillion in Regulations

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin on Tuesday released the agency’s proposal to rescind what he has described as the “holy grail of the climate change religion,” which has led to over a trillion dollars in regulatory impact.

Zeldin made the announcement to repeal the Obama-era Endangerment Finding at an auto dealer in Indiana alongside U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, Gov. Mike Braun (R-IN), Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, and American Trucking Association President and CEO Chris Spear.

The EPA has said the Endangerment Finding has been used to justify over $1 trillion in regulations, including the Biden-Harris administration’s electric vehicle mandate. Scrapping the so-called Endangerment Finding would repeal all of the greenhouse emissions regulations for motor vehicles and engines and give Americans consumer choice.

The Endangerment Finding created the legal basis for the agency to regulate greenhouse gas emissions, believing that the emissions serve as an alleged threat to public health and welfare.

Zeldin explained in a Breitbart Fight Club Roundtable that the Endangerment Finding never made a “straight-line conclusion” that carbon dioxide from motor vehicle engines caused “endangerment.” He described this finding as the “holy grail of the climate change religion.”

Mental Health “Experts” Expose Psychiatric Drugging Abuse by Their Own Industry

In keeping with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kennedy’s desire to review the effectiveness of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs), better known as antidepressants, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last week held a ten-panel “Expert Roundtable” focused on the safety of SSRI use during pregnancy. In a word, it was extraordinary.

While the roundtable was intended to focus on the risks/benefits associated with prescribing SSRIs during pregnancy, what really occurred was a truth session about the over-prescription and dangers associated with the use of antidepressants, the drugs questionable “efficacy” and the FDA’s shortcomings when it comes to transparency and honesty about antidepressants. In fact, the FDA Commissioner, Dr. Marty Makary, opened the roundtable discussion with a few brief comments giving the audience a glimpse into what used to be forbidden territory by bluntly stating “We’re losing the broader battle…in some respects we’re going backwards. The more antidepressants we prescribe, the more depression there is.” Right. Yes. Finally!

Despite decades of antidepressant use, nobody is getting better, and it appears that the majority of the roundtable “experts” not only agreed but had serious problems with the prescribing of SSRIs to anyone, least of all pregnant women.

Not all the experts objected to SSRI use during pregnancy, though. One expert discussed the benefit of SSRIs during pregnancy mentioning both Fluoxetine (Prozac) and Paroxetine (Paxil) as viable “treatments.” Interesting enough, there is a warning for Paxil which reports “using this medicine while you are pregnant can harm your unborn baby.”

Both mind-altering SSRIs come with several possible adverse events including emotional lability, mania, personality disorder, abnormal thinking, depersonalization, paranoid reaction, psychosis, depression, intense dreams, sleep disturbance and suicidal thoughts and behavior, and suicide attempts.

And, finally, there is a caveat that reports “antidepressants may have a role in inducing worsening of depression.” Perfect. Take this mind-altering drug for depression that may actually worsen depression.

Many of the panelists raised issues about the FDA’s failure to provide the public with appropriate warnings about the exposure to serious risks and poor outcomes for babies associated with antidepressants. One panelist referred to the FDA as having “information problems” when it was reported that the Royal College of Physicians in England had made an official correction about the illegitimacy of the “chemical imbalance” while the FDA, Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute of Health (NIH) have done nothing to inform the public that depression, nor any psychiatric disorder, is the result of a chemical imbalance. It always was a theory and has finally been thoroughly debunked.

It actually was a shocking, yet refreshing, discussion if only for its blatantly honest assessment of the drugging that is occurring in the US and abroad.  One panelist said, “we’re really good at getting people on drugs, but really bad at getting them off.” Truer words were never spoken and AbleChild has long advocated for a mandatory “exit plan” for all physicians prescribing psychiatric drugs.

CIA Director: More Intelligence Shows the Russia Collusion Hoax ‘Was a Hillary Clinton Plan’

More files may link failed 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to the origins of the Russia collusion hoax that targeted President Donald Trump.

During an interview Sunday on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” CIA Director John Ratcliffe explained the situation to host Maria Bartiromo, per the New York Post.

“Part of what came out last week was about how John Brennan, Clapper, Comey, they all pushed the known fake Steele dossier into intelligence community assessments, and that’s the basis for Crossfire Hurricane and all that,” he continued:

But what hasn’t come out yet and what’s going to come out is the underlying intelligence that I have spent the last few months making recommendations about final declassification and sent that to the Department of Justice, that will come out in the John Durham report classified annex. And what that intelligence shows, Maria, is that part of this was a Hillary Clinton plan, but part of it was an FBI plan to be an accelerant to that fake Steele dossier, to those fake Russia collusion claims by pouring oil on the fire, by amplifying the lie and burying the truth of what Hillary Clinton was up to.

Ratcliffe said Clinton testified before Durham under oath in 2022 and “Much of that testimony is frankly completely inconsistent with what our underlying intelligence that is about to be declassified in the Durham annex, what that reflects.”

EU plans $30 billion investment in gigawatt AI data centers — multiple sites to host 100,000 AI GPUs each as bloc plays catch-up to US and China

The European Union is the world’s second-largest economy in terms of GDP, but when it comes to its place on the AI market, its position is by far not as strong. To catch up with the U.S. and China, the bloc is launching a $30 billion initiative to build a network of high-capacity data centers that can host millions of AI GPUs, reports CNBC. If successful, the EU will have gigawatt-class datacenters with performance akin to that owned by leading U.S. companies.

To date, the European Union has allocated €10 billion (approximately $11.8 billion) to establish 13 AI data centers, alongside an additional €20 billion earmarked as initial funding for a network of gigawatt-class AI facilities. So far, the project has attracted 76 expressions of interest from 16 member states, covering a total of 60 potential locations, according to CNBC. Initial launches are underway, with the first AI factory expected to go live in the coming weeks and a large-scale project in Munich planned for early September.

Each gigawatt datacenter is expected to require €3 to €5 billion and deliver a level of computational power far greater than existing AI data centers, potentially supporting over 100,000 advanced AI GPUs per site, according to estimates by UBS cited by CNBC. xAI’s Colossus cuper cluster consumes about 150 MW of power when equipped with 100,000 H100 GPUs, so a gigawatt facility will probably be able to host many more GPUs. Perhaps, 300,000 Blackwell Ultra processors.

The EU’s effort, if realized, is probably one of the world’s largest publicly funded initiatives in artificial intelligence, probably well below what Chinese authorities (both federal and local) have invested in AI data centers, but well ahead of what other big economies invest in their AI efforts.

Henna Virkkunen, European Commission executive vice president for technology policy, told CNBC that while Europe has a strong talent base — reportedly 30% more AI researchers per capita than the U.S. — their limited access to computing has held back development. Building massive AI data centers is designed to solve this problem and kick-start the AI sector across the EU.

Despite strong public interest, the scale and sustainability of the project remain in question. Bertin Martens of Bruegel noted that while the EU has committed taxpayer funding, it is unclear how much the public sector will invest in the project. Also, the specifications of the upcoming data centers are unclear. While the EU has access to Nvidia GPUs and other advanced AI accelerators developed in America through a trade agreement with the U.S., Martens pointed out that acquiring hardware is only the beginning.

Entire Board of CA English School for Afghan Migrants Resigns After $180 Million Fraud Report

The entire school board for a Sacramento school that teaches English to adult migrants resigned after a state audit revealed mismanagement, fraud, and illegal use of education funding.

The entire board of directors for Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools (HCCTS) resigned on Monday after a 171-page audit alleging massive fraud was released by the California State Auditor’s office.

The report found that the school took some $180 million in state education funding that it either never qualified for, or qualified for but misspent.

The school opened in 2014 to help adult migrants, especially Afghans, return to school to earn equivalent high school diplomas to allow better employment opportunities in the U.S., the Sacrament Bee reported

During Monday’s board meeting, the trustees first voted to remove board member Sonja Cameron for hiring her unqualified daughter to serve as Highlands’ Director of Attendance and Admissions, a position that pays a $145,860 annual salary, according to KXTV-TV.

However, on the tail of that vote, the remaining six board members immediately tendered their own resignations, with three of the six vowing to stay on until replacements can be arranged.

The auditor’s report alleged that the school board engaged in nepotism in hiring Cameron’s daughter, inflated the number of students to get more funding, purposefully avoided providing financial transparency reports to the state, spent money on repair bills for cars owned by board members, paid for luxury items such as food and travel, approved consulting contracts to friends and family members, modified test results, and committed a slew of other violations.

Some of the fraud concerned admissions to the school. The state charter only allows the school to admit migrants aged 22 and up and who don’t already have high school diplomas. However, the audit found that it was admitting students younger than the target age and also students who already had high school diplomas.

State officials allege these violations occurred to grow the school’s attendance numbers to boost the school’s state funding which was based on average daily attendance and the total number of students enrolled, the Sacrament Bee reported.

DOJ Drops Charges Against Man Who Brought Bionic Face Shields to Los Angeles Riots

The Justice Department on Tuesday dropped the charges against the man who brought bionic face shields to the Los Angeles riots last month.

A federal grand jury indicted the man who went viral for delivering face shields to protestors during the Los Angeles riots last month.

The man driving the truck full of supplies and bionic shields, identified as Alejandro Orellana, was indicted by a federal grand jury and charged with Conspiracy to aid and abet.

On Tuesday, US Attorney Bill Essayli moved to dismiss the indictment without prejudice.

As TGP’s Kristinn Taylor reported, last month a man driving a pickup truck loaded with supplies pulled up to a crowd of anti-ICE rioters.

Fox 11 LA reporter Elex Michaelson posted about what he witnessed, “#BREAKING We just saw people arrive in Downtown L.A. with truck loads of Bionic Face Shields that demonstrators quickly grabbed. It certainly seems like gear you’d wear if you’re preparing for conflict with police. Who is funding this?”

Porn Studios File Copyright Lawsuit Against Meta Claiming Mass Download of XXX Movies to Train AI

Two major porn production companies have filed a copyright lawsuit against Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta, alleging unauthorized use of their videos to train AI models.

TorrentFreak reports that the adult film studios Strike 3 Holdings and Counterlife Media are taking aim at Meta with a copyright lawsuit. The companies, which produce popular adult brands like Vixen, Tushy, Blacked, and Deeper, claim that Meta illicitly downloaded at least 2,396 of their movies via BitTorrent since 2018 for the purpose of training its AI systems, including the Meta Movie Gen and Large Language Model (LLaMA).

Filed in a California federal court, the complaint alleges that Meta’s unauthorized use of the copyrighted adult films could ultimately result in AI models capable of creating similar “high-quality” porn content at a lower cost, potentially threatening the studios’ business. The plaintiffs argue that by training specifically on their works, “Meta’s AI Movie Gen may very well soon produce full length films with Plaintiffs’ identical style and quality, which other real world adult studios cannot replicate.”

The lawsuit also accuses Meta of not only downloading the copyrighted works without permission but also uploading them to third parties participating in the same BitTorrent swarms. This allegation is allegedly backed by data from the studios’ proprietary tracking software, VXN Scan. BitTorrent’s “tit for tat” algorithm rewards users for sharing content with others to increase download speeds, and the plaintiffs claim that Meta deliberately chose to continue sharing the pirated files to capitalize on faster downloads and infringe more content at a quicker pace.

Strike 3 and Counterlife Media discovered the alleged infringements after Meta’s BitTorrent activity was revealed in a separate lawsuit filed by book authors. In that case, Meta admitted to obtaining content from pirate sources. This revelation prompted the adult studios to search their archive of collected BitTorrent data for Meta-linked IP addresses, uncovering 47 addresses owned by the company that allegedly infringed their copyrights. The complaint provides a list of thousands of alleged infringements from these addresses as evidence. Strike 3 has filed many lawsuits in the past related to videos allegedly downloaded by BitTorrent pirates, leading one judge to label them as a “copyright troll.”

Arkansas State Police release police sketch of ‘person of interest’ in murder of couple at Devil’s Den Park

Arkansas State Police have released a sketch drawing of a person of interest in their search for the killer of a couple at Devil’s Den State Park. Their two young daughters, who were innocent bystanders at the time of the killings, were fortunately left unharmed.

On Monday, the department recently released a composite sketch depicting a man wearing a baseball hat. Police referred to the unidentified man as the “person of interest” in the case who was last seen in the park at the time of the murders.

Authorities described the suspect as a “White male with a medium build, who was seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark pants, a dark ballcap, sunglasses and fingerless gloves who was also carrying a black backpack.”

Police noted that the suspect had been seen “driving toward a park exit in a black, four-door sedan” – possibly a Mazda with tape covering the license plate. The vehicle may have also been traveling on State Route 170 or 220, they added.
