Congressional Budget Office Plagued by ‘Ongoing’ Cybersecurity Breach

When the agency that crunches Washington’s numbers can’t even secure its own, it’s hard not to see a metaphor in the math.

The Congressional Budget Office confirmed this week that it’s battling an “ongoing” cybersecurity incident — one that, by all accounts, has stretched on for days and remains unresolved.

Politico first reported the breach, noting that CBO officials are still assessing the full scope of the intrusion and what data, if any, may have been compromised.

The nonpartisan agency, which provides cost estimates and fiscal analyses to Congress, said it has added new monitoring systems and security controls while a full investigation continues.

The CBO has not said whether sensitive information was stolen or who might be behind the attack, the Associated Press reported. Officials also declined to specify how long the agency’s systems have been affected.

Reuters added that Senate offices were warned by the chamber’s Sergeant at Arms that email communications with the CBO might have been exposed, potentially giving hackers a chance to spoof messages or launch phishing attempts.

That advisory urged congressional staff to treat any CBO-related email traffic with extra caution until the incident is fully contained.

While the agency insists its work for lawmakers continues uninterrupted, the breach’s duration has sparked questions about whether the CBO’s analytical models and data pipelines could have been tampered with.

Experts told the Associated Press that a breach described as “ongoing” suggests investigators are still chasing active threats within the network rather than cleaning up a finished intrusion.

The incident comes at a sensitive time for Congress, with fiscal debates, spending fights, and shutdown negotiations all relying on the CBO’s projections to guide votes and policy.

Reuters noted that the longer such breaches persist, the greater the risk that attackers can map internal systems, gather intelligence, or establish backdoors for later use.

The Washington Post reported that early assessments point to a possible foreign actor, though officials have not publicly attributed the breach to any specific nation or group.

In a statement, the CBO said it “continually monitors” for cyber threats and had taken “immediate action” to safeguard its systems once the incident was detected.

Still, the episode has renewed scrutiny of cybersecurity readiness across federal agencies — particularly those, like the CBO, that don’t handle classified data but remain critical to day-to-day government operations.

Public School Teachers Have A Serious Child Sex Abuse Problem

Every month, around 300 to 500 public school teachers are arrested or charged for incidents involving a minor, including sexual assault on minors.  The majority of these cases do not receive much attention in the media and often school districts will “pass the trash”; quietly removing an offending teacher and using confidentiality agreements to cover up incidents, allowing that employee to simply move on to another school district and repeat the pattern all over again.

These cases tend to start with lewd conduct – Teachers acting inappropriately or making sexualized comments with multiple students.  They are punished by school officials, but the action is kept under wraps.  The teacher then moves to another county and does something even worse.

For example, a teacher in NJ became the subject of a media firestorm last year when he was caught in multiple instances over the course of several years engaging in sexual discussions and behavior with students.  These incidents including dropping items in front of female students, telling them to pick up the objects so that he could look at them from behind as they bent over.  There were also several reports of the teacher discussing his personal sex life with children and making bizarre comments about how the girls in his class looked “cute”.

Despite New Jersey making laws against “pass the trash” practices, schools flouted the restrictions and hid groomer teachers anyway.  Lewd conduct often ends up leading to physical abuse if teachers are not outed right away.

In the past two weeks alone the news feeds have been replete with child abuse cases involving teachers, from Aurora, Colorado to Maricopa County, Arizona to Swainsboro, Georgia to Mount Pleasant, Texas and Detroit, Michigan.

These cases are so frequent they rarely stay in the focus of journalists for more than a few days before the next arrest takes the limelight.

Think your children are safer if the teacher is female?  Think again.  Among educators arrested for abuse, women make up 30% of cases.  This might seem low until we take into account the fact that among all sexual abuse cases nationally, women perpetrate 10% of them.  In other words, female school teachers are far above the national average for child abuse.

Biden Administration Had Intelligence That Israel Was Using Palestinians as Human Shields in Gaza

The US gathered intelligence last year of Israeli officials discussing their soldiers using Palestinians as human shields in Gaza by sending them into tunnels and buildings believed to be lined with explosives, Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing two US officials.

The officials said that the intelligence was shared with the White House during the final weeks of the Biden administration. Despite the use of human shields being a clear war crime and violation of international law, Biden officials did nothing to curtail US military aid to Israel after receiving the intelligence.

The IDF’s use of Palestinian civilians as human shields, known as the “mosquito protocol,” was so widespread in Gaza that one Israeli military officer writing anonymously in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz said that the IDF operated a “sub-army of Palestinian slaves.”

While the IDF officially denies that it used human shields, there has been widespread reporting on it in Israeli media and testimony from Israeli soldiers and Palestinians about the practice.

“You send the human shield underground. As he walks down the tunnel, he maps it all for you. He has an iPhone in his vest and as he walks it sends back GPS information,” Daniel, an Israeli tank commander, said in a documentary titled “Breaking Ranks: Inside Israel’s War” that broadcast on the UK’s ITV this week.

“The commanders saw how it works. And the practice spread like wildfire. After about a week, every company was operating its own mosquito,” Daniel added.

The Case for World War II Revisionism

To briefly summarize the anti-war position:

  1. The costs of warfare are extremely high.
  2. The high costs are often imposed on unwilling participants.
  3. The outcomes of warfare are highly uncertain.
  4. The primary decision makers -politicians- face little incentive to produce beneficial results since they often have access to the involuntary labor of conscripts and can fund their operations involuntarily through taxation.

With these general metrics in mind, I want to make the case that Britain and the United States should not have entered into the second world war.

Consider the war from the German point of view:

Their Eastern Enemy, the Bolshevik regime, kept engaging in acts of aggression.

In 1917, they staged a coup against Czar Nicholas II and conquered Russia, leading to a four year civil war killing millions of people.

In 1918, the Bolsheviks assisted Rosa Luxemburg in the November Revolution attempting to annex Germany. In 1919, the Bolsheviks invaded Poland killing hundreds of thousands of people, and set up a puppet state in Hungary with Béla Kun.

In 1920, the Bolsheviks occupied Azerbaijan, the same year they occupied Armenia. In 1921, they invaded Georgia.

In 1932, they starved millions of Ukrainians to death in the Holodomor. In 1934, the Bolsheviks invaded Xinjiang, China. In 1935 Germans found themselves encircled by the Franco-Soviet Pact followed by the Czech-Soviet Treaty of Alliance. In 1939 the Bolsheviks invaded Finland, and Poland.

In 1940, the Bolshevik regime occupied and annexed Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Bessarabia (Today, Moldova), and Bukovina (today, Ukraine/Romania).

By 1941, the German National Socialists fought the Russian International Socialists under the guise of opposing the Bolshevik “international, worldwide conspiracy” as [Adolf] Hitler called it in his June 22, 1941 speech.

[Winston] Churchill understood the Soviet menace, saying in a 1920 article titled Zionism Versus Bolshevism, that Bolshevism is a “system of morals and philosophy, as malevolent as Christianity was benevolent…[and a]…world-wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilisation and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence, and impossible equality.”

Women Who Use Marijuana At A ‘High Intensity’ Report Greater Romantic Relationship Satisfaction, New Study Finds

Women who frequently use marijuana report greater satisfaction in their romantic relationships, according to a new study. But for men, the opposite appears to be true for reasons that aren’t immediately clear.

The study from researchers at Ariel University and Achva Academic College in Israel was published in the journal Drug and Alcohol Dependence this month.

Researchers recruited 110 couples who completed questionnaires on “cannabis use patterns, general satisfaction with relationship quality, satisfaction with the quality of sex, and perceived partner responsiveness,” the paper says.

They found that women who used marijuana at a “high intensity” experienced greater relationship satisfaction, perceiving both their own and their partner’s fulfillment higher compared to those who consumed cannabis less frequently or not at all.

Curiously, however, the study—funded in part by the Israeli Science Foundation, which receives support from the Israeli government—concluded that “men reported the opposite” experience.

The reasons that the intensity of marijuana use seems to impact romantic relationship satisfaction differently between genders warrants further research, the study authors said.

While numerous studies have examined the intersection of cannabis consumption and romantic or sexual behavior, this latest contribution is novel in part because it looked at possible dose-response effects.

“Results indicated that discrepancy in cannabis use intensity was significantly associated with lower general relationship satisfaction and lower satisfaction with the quality of sex,” the study says. “Additionally, dyadic analyses indicated that women who used cannabis at a high intensity tended to report an increase in relationship satisfaction and exhibit an increase in their own and, to some degree, their partner’s perceived partner responsiveness.”

Why Is Congress Moving To Ban The Hemp Products That Saved My Son’s Life?

Before my son, Austin, was even five years old, he had been prescribed a series of pharmaceuticals for his epilepsy—opioids, benzodiazepines, rufinamide and more. That continued for years. The side effects were absolutely awful. The sheer number and potency nearly killed him several times, but they never stopped his daily seizures.

By the time he was eleven, his body was shutting down from the daily pills that had hideous physical, emotional and mental repercussions. While he was on life support, the doctors told us that if the pharmaceutical damage to his organs didn’t kill him within two years, the seizures would.

“Just take him home,” the doctors said, “there’s nothing more we can do here.” It was the most terrifying, infuriating, overwhelming moment of my life. The doctors were giving up on my son because the pharmaceuticals they had been prescribing for years had done more damage than they could repair and the seizures remained, worsened.

We couldn’t just watch our son die. We refused to accept that, we had no idea what we were going to do, what we had to do, but we knew we needed to do something for Austin. Whatever it took to help him, that was our mission.

There was a lot of information on hemp, CBD, medical marijuana gaining traction in the news with doctors and scientists speaking in favor of its potential. But my husband was a fireman in our beloved hometown, and trying plant medicines could make him a felon. Our entire family would be at risk. We could lose everything, go to jail and lose Austin.

That refusal to give up, and the desperate attempt to find lawful options, led our family to uproot our lives in Oklahoma and move to Colorado—one of the only states where families could legally access hemp and cannabis as medicine in 2014.

Now after our years-long battle to give children like Austin lawful access to this medicine, to give other parents hope when there is none, Congress is poised to re-criminalize this plant and again put hundreds of thousands of patients, and the people that love them, in jeopardy.

Zionist Billionaire Larry Ellison is Colonizing the Corridors of Power

When American newspapers framed President Donald Trump’s September visit to Great Britain as the latest symbolic exchange between a dominant empire and a faded one, they followed the approach generally desired by these exchanges’ operators and missed the bigger empire-building project at play. This new imperial project is hiding in plain sight. It encompasses America’s and Britain’s military, corporate, media, and education complexes—currently collaborating in a major “reinvention” of the Middle East via force, displacement, commerce, and propaganda. Its most influential player locates his loyalties firmly with these complexes’ major client and the hinge of their Middle East operation: Israel.

The latter-day Cecil Rhodes in question is Larry Ellison. Founder and Chairman of Oracle and a close friend and supporter of Donald Trump, Ellison previously made the news for making the largest single one-time donation to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), $16.6 million in 2017 on top of $10 million three years before that. He is also known to use Oracle to provide cyber services for Israel. But Ellison’s military presence is a pale image of what is becoming his role as the public relations hinge for an empire run from America with outposts in Britain and facilitated by Zionists.

Understanding how means understanding Ellison’s role among not just American Jewish Zionist billionaires but American billionaires generally, which is rare even in this rarified circle. Bill Ackman, as I reported in a past piece for the Libertarian Institute, may be the unasked-for Patrick Henry of the reactionary military corporate class, always available and eager to vocalize (and reveal) his class’s latest stealth project of social control. But Ackman is playing only with a $9.4 billion dollar fortune. Larry Ellison, whose fortune, like most entrepreneurs, has been turbocharged thanks to government investment in Silicon Valley beginning in the 1990s, is worth $383.6 billion more than that. This means that Ellison doesn’t have to cast himself as an orator in order to secure standing space inside the proverbial “room where it happens”; he can actually sit at the table and initiate plays. Since Donald Trump’s election in 2024, he has done this in a fashion to take one’s breath away without leaving anyone breathless by provoking too much careful notice.

Around the same stretch of weeks that Donald Trump made his state visit to Britain, reports broke of Ellison’s Oracle acquiring Paramount, the parent company of CBS and owner of a collection of media and entertainment companies with wide public reach, and so forming Skydance; of Ellison acquiring a stake in the social media company TikTok; and of Ellison “bankrolling a massive for-profit research campus costing upward of $1.3 billion” at Oxford University in Britain, “the planned home of his Ellison Institute of Technology by 2027.” The media acquisitions were covered by the business sections of major newspapers and business websites. They were also covered in a New York Times profile of Shari Redstone, the owner of Paramount who sold it to the Ellison family, and a Times’ profile of Ellison’s stake in TikTok and his friendship with Trump. The depth and breadth of Ellison’s Oxford venture has only been reported in recent investigations in The New York Times (in August) and The Wall Street Journal (in September.) None of the coverage of these acquisitions and ventures goes much beneath the surface. But the details behind them, and of the players who along with Ellison made them possible, reveal the real game at play: controlling information to support Zionism and Empire and priming a population to accept these controls.

Hidden Inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, a Tantalizing Discovery May Soon “Write a New Chapter in the History of the Pharaohs”

A remarkable discovery within the Great Pyramid of Giza could potentially reshape our understanding of ancient Egypt, one of the country’s most renowned Egyptologists has said.

The claims were made by Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass, who recently hinted at a tantalizing discovery that will come to light sometime in 2026, adding that he expects it will “rewrite history” and offer new insights into the ancient history of Egypt and its rulers.

The 78-year-old Egyptologist made comments during an appearance at the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair, where he described the mysterious discovery as one that will “write a new chapter in the history of the Pharaohs.”

A New Discovery at Giza’s Great Pyramid

Hawass, Egypt’s former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, has conducted work at many of the country’s most renowned archaeological sites in the Western Desert and Nile Delta, among other locations.

During the recent event, Hawass offered additional clues about the forthcoming revelation, stating that “This great discovery is a new 30-meter-long passageway,” which he said had been “detected using advanced equipment,” and appears to lead to a concealed doorway within the Great Pyramid.

US military accused of secret climate spraying operation dumping 60 million tons of toxic nanoparticles into the skies

The US military has been accused of spraying toxic chemicals into the air for decades as part of a secret program that has backfired in its goal of stopping global warming.

Dane Wigington, an environmental researcher for 30 years, claimed that the conspiracy surrounding ‘chemtrails’ is not only true but has actually crippled the Earth’s ability to naturally overcome the pollution caused by humans.

The ‘chemtrail’ conspiracy focuses on the idea that the government has been spraying a host of dangerous chemicals from commercial airliners for several reasons, including to control the weather and make people sick.

The vast majority of scientists and the US government have long declared this theory as false, and most condensation trails, or ‘contrails’, seen in the sky are the result of water vapor from aircraft exhaust freezing into ice crystals as it hits cold air at high altitudes.

However, Wigington said that lab tests on rain samples, photos of specialized planes carrying these chemicals, government documents, and whistleblower testimony all show clear evidence that a secret program has attempted to weaponize weather.

The researcher claimed that the US military has built a massive weather control program over the last years, with chemical spraying ramping up in the 1990s to block sunlight and cool the planet.

He estimated that airliners equipped with secret nozzles and tanks on their wings, filled with aluminum, barium, manganese, graphene, and various polymers, have dumped between 40 and 60 million tons of nanoparticles in the sky every year.

‘These programs are literally disabling the planet’s counterbalancing life support systems,’ Wigington said on the Tucker Carlson Show.
