Barack Obama Gets ROASTED for Claiming ‘We don’t Have Details’ About Motives of WHCD Shooter After Manifesto Reveals Hatred For Trump

Barack Obama on Sunday evening released a statement on yet another assassination attempt against President Trump and his officials.

31-year-old Cole Allen stormed the lobby of the Washington Hilton on Saturday evening and opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

President Trump, First Lady Melania and other Cabinet officials were rushed out of the ballroom by Secret Service Agents.

Footage shows Cole Allen sprinting past a Secret Service checkpoint as federal agents opened fire on him.

On Sunday it was revealed that Cole Allen wrote a manifesto and expressed his hatred for “pedophile, rapist” Trump.

Cole Allen said he was specifically targeting Trump and his officials.

“Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I’m not the person raped in a detention camp. I’m not the fisherman executed without trial,” Allen wrote in the manifesto.

“I’m not a schoolkid blown up, or a child starved, or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. Turning the other cheek when *someone else* is oppressed is not Christian behavior; it is complicity in the oppressor’s crimes.”

“I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” Allen wrote.

Barack Obama absurdly claimed we just don’t know the motives of the shooter after his manifesto specifically detailed his hatred for Trump.

“Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy,” Obama said.

It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay,” Obama said.

After SPLC Indictment, Democrats Scramble to Defend It as “Politically Motivated”

MSNOW’s latest segment offered a clear example of how legacy media handles politically inconvenient stories. Instead of engaging with the substance of a federal indictment, the discussion—featuring Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman—shifted toward deflection, narrative framing, and selective omission.

The underlying story is not complicated.

As previously covered by The Gateway Pundit, a federal grand jury has indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center on charges including wire fraud, false statements, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

According to prosecutors, the organization allegedly misled donors for nearly a decade—raising funds under the banner of combating extremism while secretly diverting millions of dollars to individuals connected to extremist groups.

The indictment outlines a detailed pattern. Between 2014 and 2023, more than $3 million in donor funds were allegedly funneled to individuals tied to organizations such as the Ku Klux Klan and Aryan Nations.

Donors were not informed. Instead, prosecutors describe the use of fictitious entities and concealed bank accounts to obscure where the money was actually going.

On MSNOW, however, the focus shifted almost immediately.

Rather than addressing the specifics of the indictment, Rep. Goldman emphasized the SPLC’s historical role as a “civil rights” organization and suggested that the case itself is politically motivated.

That argument sidesteps the central issue. A federal indictment is the result of a grand jury reviewing evidence presented by prosecutors.

The segment relied heavily on reputation as a substitute for analysis. The SPLC’s past work was repeatedly referenced, while the current allegations were treated as secondary or speculative. That approach creates a disconnect.

If an organization built its credibility on identifying and exposing misconduct, then allegations of internal financial misconduct should be treated as a serious institutional issue rather than dismissed as partisan noise.

There was also a noticeable effort to broaden the conversation into unrelated political territory.

Trump Fires Multiple Scientists Who Serve on National Science Board

President Trump fired multiple scientists who served on the National Science Board on Friday.

According to The Washington Post, it is unclear how many of the scientists were ousted.

The scientists on the National Science Board serve 6-year terms.

The Washington Post reported:

Multiple scientists who serve on an independent board established to guide the nation’s nearly $9 billion basic science funding agency were terminated from their positions Friday by President Donald Trump.

Members of the National Science Board, which helps govern the National Science Foundation, were dismissed in a message from the Presidential Personnel Office thanking them for their service, according to screenshots shared with The Washington Post: “On behalf of President Donald J. Trump, I’m writing to inform you that your position as a member of the National Science Board is terminated, effective immediately.”

The National Science Board was established in 1950 to guide the governance of the National Science Foundation, in an unusual structure within the federal government that echoes the setup of a company board in the private sector.

It helps guide an agency that operates Antarctic research stations, telescopes, a fleet of research vessels and supports basic science research in laboratories across the United States.

The NSF has a long history of supporting technology and research that powers many innovations the world relies on today. The agency helped language-learning app Duolingo get its start. NSF research has also helped evolve technology used in MRIs, cellphones and LASIK eye surgery.

Israel Awaits U.S. OK to Attack Iran; State Dept. Admits U.S. Went to War at Israel’s Request

Israel is preparing to renew its attack on Iran, and awaits only the “green light” from the United States, the country’s defense minister said.

Israel Katz said the upcoming attack will erase the Khamenei dynasty and blow Iran back to the “age of darkness and stone,” reiterating U.S. President Donald Trump’s vow in early April to bomb Iran back to the “Stone Ages.” Katz threatened the attack as Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced a visit to Islamabad, where peace talks between the U.S. and Iran have been going on but failing miserably.

Katz’s remarks, former U.S. counterterror chief Joe Kent said, show that Israel is attempting to force the U.S. to continue attacking Iran. Days ago, the State Department admitted what Secretary of State Marco Rubio said early on: Israel dragged the U.S. into the war.

President Trump Shares Footage of WHCD Shooter in Lobby of Washington Hilton

President Trump on Saturday evening released footage of the gunman who stormed the lobby of the Washington Hilton and opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

President Trump, First Lady Melania, Vice President Vance and others were rushed out of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner amid a ‘security incident.’

The President and his entire Cabinet were safely evacuated after shots were fired in the lobby of the Washington Hilton at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Trump held a press conference in the White House press briefing room after the shooter, identified as Cole Allen, 31, of Torrence, California.

The president said a Secret Service Agent was shot during his encounter with Cole Allen.

During the press conference, President Trump released footage of Cole Allen in the lobby of the Washington Hilton.

Trump released a statement after the shooting on Truth Social:

Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely. The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we “LET THE SHOW GO ON” but, will entirely be guided by Law Enforcement. They will make a decision shortly.

Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different than planned, and we’ll just, plain, have to do it again. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Decades-Old Iranian Jet Breached US Defenses, Struck Gulf Base in Early Phase of War — Reports

Iran’s early retaliatory strikes in the US-Israeli aggression caused significantly more damage to US military infrastructure than publicly acknowledged, with over 100 targets hit across bases in multiple Gulf countries, NBC News reported.

In the opening phase, an Iranian F-5 — a Cold War-era aircraft — penetrated air defenses and struck Camp Buehring in Kuwait, despite the presence of advanced US systems.

Facilities including hangars, runways, radar installations and command sites across Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE were damaged, with repair costs estimated in the billions.

When a decades-old jet can get through and land a hit, the image of untouchable “air dominance” starts to look a lot less convincing.

DEBUNKED: The Left Falsely Blames Trump for the Afghan Refugee Mess Created by Biden’s Disastrous Withdrawal

Left-wing media is once again scrambling to rewrite recent history—this time over Afghan refugees still stranded overseas after Joe Biden’s catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

During a recent segment, MSNOW attempted to frame President Donald Trump as “targeting” Afghan allies who assisted the United States during the war.

The claim centers around reports that some Afghan nationals currently living in Qatar may be given relocation options outside the United States, including possible resettlement in other countries.

But the outrage narrative leaves out the most important facts.

First, these individuals were not universally promised permanent resettlement in the United States—certainly not under the Trump administration.

The idea that every Afghan who assisted U.S. efforts was guaranteed entry into the U.S. is simply false. Immigration and refugee policy has always involved a structured vetting process, prioritization, and logistical constraints.

The current situation exists because of Biden’s 2021 withdrawal—an operation widely criticized across the political spectrum for its execution.

When the Taliban rapidly took over Afghanistan following Biden’s decision to withdraw U.S. forces, thousands of Afghan allies were left in limbo. Many were relocated to temporary holding locations, including a former U.S. military base in Qatar.

Years later, many remain there, waiting for final decisions on resettlement.

That is the context MSNOW conveniently ignored.

Instead, the segment leaned heavily on emotional framing, highlighting interpreters, special forces affiliates, and families—including hundreds of children—while suggesting the Trump administration is abandoning them.

The reporting relied in part on claims from outlets like The New York Times, which often shape the initial narrative before it spreads across legacy media.

What is actually being discussed is policy—not abandonment.

Any proposal to relocate individuals to third countries is part of a broader effort to manage a complex backlog created by the rushed withdrawal.

4 men arrested after podcast helps solve decades-old murder of teen girl

Louisiana detectives are crediting a local podcast with helping to solve the decades-old rape and murder of a teenage girl.

Over the past few days, police charged four men with aggravated rape and second-degree murder for killing Roxanne Sharp, 44 years after her body was found in the woods.

Who killed Roxanne Sharp?

The backstory:

Sharp was 16 years old in 1982 when she was raped and murdered in the woods in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, about 30 miles north of New Orleans.

Eventually, the case went cold, remaining unsolved for decades until investigators asked a local media company to produce a podcast about Sharp’s murder. “Who Killed Roxanne Sharp?” went live last year with six episodes.

What followed were crucial tips from the public and new witnesses contacting investigators.

What they’re saying:

“It helped our investigators piece together where Roxanne was days before to the time she died, to where we’re at now,” Louisiana State Police spokesperson Marc Gremillion told The Associated Press. “It was a very large help with getting that message out to the public, and then, therefore, those witnesses getting back to us.”

Perry Wayne Taylor, 64; Darrell Dean Spell, 64; Carlos Cooper, 64; and Billy Williams, Jr., 62, have all been charged in connection with Sharp’s death.

Cooper and Taylor were already in prison on unrelated charges, and Williams and Spell were arrested earlier this week. Police said Sharp knew the four suspects and frequented the neighborhood where they lived.

Northshore Media Vice President Charles Dowdy, who helped produce the podcast, said his team didn’t think there’d be much interest in the case, but “we were quickly corrected.”

“Cold cases don’t close themselves,” Covington Police Department Chief Michael Ferrell said in a statement. “They close because people show up, year after year, and refuse to quit. That is exactly what our agencies did, and today, Roxanne and her family finally have the justice they have waited so long for.”

Picture-postcard mountain city becomes a hotbed for crime and homelessness leaving locals frightened and scaring tourists away

A picturesque mountain city has turned into a hotbed for crime and homelessness, severely unsettling locals and deterring tourists from visiting.

Asheville, North Carolina, has long been touted as a city with a homely feel on the Blue Ridge Mountains which embodies its motto of ‘quality of service, quality of life.’

However, locals in the city of 95,000 residents have claimed that quality of life has turned dour as the city struggles to deal with rampant homelessness.

This has caused encampments and panhandling to become much more common around town.

‘Homelessness, drug abuse and related crimes have increased relentlessly under the watch of local homelessness experts and a governing body that is dominated by liberal Democrats and those with an even more extreme view to the left,’ Carl Mumpower, a lifelong Asheville resident, told Fox News Digital.

‘The single most common phrase uttered by county and surrounding area residents is ‘I don’t go downtown anymore – it’s nasty, crazy and scary,’ Mumpower added.

Mumpower argued that Asheville has struggled to address homelessness since about three decades ago, slamming what he perceived to be a liberal bias among local leadership.

‘That lack of balance – the last conservative on the council was in 2009 – has led to a myopic repeat of errors,’ he told the outlet.

Mumpower said Asheville had a ‘persisting history of pursuing fantasized interventions over more realistic, measurable and trackable solutions.’

At least 824 people experienced homelessness in Asheville last year, according to city data reported by Blue Ridge Public Radio.

That marked a nine percent uptick from last year, largely due to the continued effects of Hurricane Helene in 2024.

That marked a slight uptick from 739 in 2024, largely due to the effects of Hurricane Helene that September.

‘Asheville began its efforts to address homelessness at least three decades ago,’ he explained. ‘This effort accelerated in the early part of this century with the first ‘Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness.’

Mumpower, who who was a City Council member from 2001 until 2009, called that plan was ‘ill–advised.’ Mumpower told Fox News Digital.

‘At the time, I suggested to the council that any plan that removed personal accountability from the helping equation was doomed to fail,’ he said.

The disgruntled local said ‘that plan and subsequent plans have failed with equal enthusiasm.’

Global Push to Ban Nicotine as Marijuana and Psychedelics Praised

Nicotine, an alkaloid that naturally occurs in nightshade plants, is the latest target in an ongoing legislative and regulatory battle, with leaders worldwide working toward an outright ban on the substance. Simultaneously, marijuana and psychedelic substances are being encouraged and deregulated at a rapid pace.

While research continues to come out, nicotine has been found to potentially aid in recovery from Covid-19, serve as an anti-inflammatory agent, boost cognition, and even prevent Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. So, why the crackdown?

Elites Suppressing Nicotine

In January 2025, in the 11th hour of Joe Biden’s presidency, his administration pushed hard to essentially begin the death of nicotine through FDA regulations. The Biden-era rule sought to establish a “maximum nicotine level” in tobacco products. In a press release accompanying the clampdown, the FDA revealed that they would “cap the nicotine level at 0.7 milligrams per gram of tobacco in cigarettes and certain other combusted tobacco products.”

While the FDA regulation would not touch on non-tobacco products containing nicotine, such as nicotine gum, patches, or pouches, Democrats have been pushing for years to restrain the sale of non-tobacco nicotine products, mainly nicotine pouches — a small pouch of flavored nicotine placed between the gums.

“It’s a pouch packed with problems — high levels of nicotine,” Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said in January of 2024 at a press conference targeting the pouches and nicotine at large. Schumer called on the Federal Trade Commission and Food and Drug Administration to investigate nicotine companies for “for concerns relating to marketing and health effects.” They want to wage war on nicotine.

Democratic governors are hopping on the bandwagon, too. In New York, Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul recently unveiled her 2027 proposed budget, which included a 75-percent tax on non-tobacco nicotine products. “The Executive Budget defines alternative nicotine products and broadens the tobacco products definition to include them, bringing these products under the State’s existing 75 percent wholesale tax,” the budget proposal states.

The reason for the regulations is ostensibly to protect children. New York’s Department of Taxation and Finance Acting Commissioner Amanda Hiller stated, “We have high taxes to create a barrier to entry for children. That’s always been a core rationale for having some of the highest taxes on these products in the country.”

UK: Banning Tobacco for Everyone Born After 2008

But the war on nicotine and tobacco is not just happening in America. It is happening in England, too. This week, both houses of Parliament agreed to a final draft of legislation that would literally ban anyone born after January 1, 2009 from buying tobacco for the rest of their life. The U.K’.s health minister, Baroness Merron, commented that “It is, in fact, the biggest public health intervention in a generation and I can assure all noble Lords it will save lives.”

New Zealand also attempted a smoking ban in 2022, but quickly reversed it upon the election of Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, who cited concerns about the rise of black market sales and the impact on the economy. Australia has also tightened the bolts on nicotine use, requiring a prescription to use certain nicotine products.
