69 Years Ago Today, the CIA Conspired with the UK to Overthrow Iran on Behalf of Big Oil

Today marks the 69th anniversary that the west carried out a coup in Iran that destabilized the county by overthrowing the country’s democratically elected leader, Mohammad Mossadegh, and installed a CIA groomed dictator.

What was once considered a conspiracy theory is now a fact as the government has since admitted to carrying out Operation Ajax that was planned by the CIA in conjunction with MI6 in the UK to exploit the Iranian people and steal their oil on behalf of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC) – the British state-owned oil company established in 1908 with this objective in mind and the forerunner of today’s global oil conglomerate BP.

As TFTP reported, the State Department released a trove of documents that give insight into the CIA’s role in the 1953 coup d’état that led to the overthrow of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadeq.

Those declassified documents, titled “Foreign Relations of the United States, 1952-1954, Iran, 1951–1954,” provide a notable difference from the State Department’s 1989 version of the coup, which left out any involvement from American and British intelligence.

A memorandum from Director of Central Intelligence Allen Dulles to President Eisenhower, dated March 1, 1953, serves as a reminder that internally, “the elimination of Mossadeq by assassination or otherwise,” was used as a method in repairing ties with Iran, restoring oil negotiations, and stopping a “Communist takeover.”

Pentagon announces extra $775M in weapons to Ukraine

The United States will send another $775 million in missiles, drones, vehicles and mine clearing equipment to Ukraine to help in its war with Russia as the conflict enters a near standstill, the Pentagon announced Friday.

The new assistance package will include 16 howitzers and ammunition, AGM-88 High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles (HARM), ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, 15 Scan Eagle reconnaissance drones, and armored vehicles, among other armaments, a senior Defense official told reporters. 

The package comes at a critical time as Ukraine and Russia battle for control of the eastern part of Ukraine.  

Nearly six months into the war, the two sides are locked in a near operational standstill, with neither Kyiv nor Moscow able to drum up enough ground troops and weapons to turn the course of the conflict, Western officials assess.  

The extra shot of lethal aid could help Ukrainian forces gain the upper hand as Russian troops struggle with losses inflicted by U.S.-made missile systems.  

“I would say that you are seeing a complete and total lack of progress by the Russians on the battlefield,” the senior Defense official said, adding that it’s important to both sustain Ukrainian battlefield successes and enable them to be make gains as the conflict shifts.   

“We want to make sure that Ukraine has a steady stream of ammunition to meet its needs, and that’s what we’re doing with this package.” 

The latest lethal aid follows the $1 billion in weapons and equipment given to the embattled country earlier this month, the largest such tranche pledged since Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24. 

The package also pushes the United States past the $10 billion mark for military assistance for Ukraine under the Biden administration, spread out over 19 packages since August 2021.

Ex-Boston prosecutor and social justice advocate accused of rape at NYC hotel

A social justice advocate and former Boston prosecutor has been indicted for allegedly raping a woman at a New York City hotel, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

Adam Foss, 42, of Los Angeles, was freed without bail at his arraignment in Manhattan Supreme Court, where he pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree rape and sexual abuse.

Judge Curtis Farber granted him supervised release at the request of prosecutors, with the condition that he surrender his passport, the DA’s office said.

Foss — a public speaker and founder of the social justice organization Prosecutor Impact — is accused of raping a 25-year-old woman while she slept in a room at a Midtown hotel on Oct. 21, 2017.

He and the victim had been calling and texting for a month prior to the date, when she repeatedly rebuffed his efforts to have sex before the two fell asleep, prosecutors said.

Destruction of the Georgia Guidestones, a monument puzzling from the start, only has heightened the mystery

Atop a windswept hill in rural Georgia stood a 19-foot, 3-inch-high granite monument with a series of instructions for living in a future “age of reason.” 

Unveiled in 1980 near Elberton, about 100 miles northeast of Atlanta, the Georgia Guidestones have been shrouded in mystery and the center of controversy for decades. The true identity of the man who commissioned the monoliths and the meaning behind its cryptic 10-part message inscribed in eight languages remain unknown.  

The mystery of the Guidestones’ destruction now adds to that lore. The monument, dubbed “America’s Stonehenge” by some and “satanic” by others, was blown up last month by an unidentified person.  

But the Guidestones – or pieces of them, anyway – have found a new home. 

This month, the Elbert County Board of Commissioners voted to give the remains of the monument to the Elberton Granite Association. The group, which runs the Elberton Granite Museum, agreed to take the stones, but they’ve yet to determine a new home, said Elbert Granite Association Executive Vice President Christopher Kubas. 

“The only options (the Elbert County Board of Commissioners) had were to basically destroy them completely and be done with them or they could donate them,” Kubas said. “We agreed to take the stones in an effort to preserve them, mostly because the monument was really a testament to the type of work that we do here in Elberton in manufacturing granite monuments and memorials.”

1,200 Scientists and Professionals Declare: “There is No Climate Emergency”

The political fiction that humans cause most or all climate change and the claim that the science behind this notion is ‘settled’, has been dealt a savage blow by the publication of a ‘World Climate Declaration (WCD)’ signed by over 1,100 scientists and professionals. There is no climate emergency, say the authors, who are drawn from across the world and led by the Norwegian physics Nobel Prize laureate Professor Ivar Giaever. Climate science is said to have degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science.

The scale of the opposition to modern day ‘settled’ climate science is remarkable, given how difficult it is in academia to raise grants for any climate research that departs from the political orthodoxy. Another lead author of the declaration, Professor Richard Lindzen, has called the current climate narrative “absurd”, but acknowledged that trillions of dollars and the relentless propaganda from grant-dependent academics and agenda-driven journalists currently says it is not absurd.

Particular ire in the WCD is reserved for climate models. To believe in the outcome of a climate model is to believe what the model makers have put in. Climate models are now central to today’s climate discussion and the scientists see this as a problem. “We should free ourselves from the naïve belief in immature climate models,” says the WCD. “In future, climate research must give significantly more emphasis to empirical science.”

Since emerging from the ‘Little Ice Age’ in around 1850, the world has warmed significantly less than predicted by the IPCC on the basis of modelled human influences. “The gap between the real world and the modelled world tells us that we are far from understanding climate change,” the WCD notes.

Sam Harris Offers Feeble ‘Clarification’ After Bizarre Comments About Trump

Author Sam Harris said he supported the censorship of the Hunter Biden story despite acknowledging it was “a left-wing conspiracy to deny the presidency to Donald Trump,” but then later clarified that he didn’t say that, even though he did.

Harris, who once found favor amongst some on the right for standing up against identity politics and Islamism, suffered a rather severe bout of Trump derangement syndrome around the 2016 election and hasn’t recovered since.

The public intellectual made the bizarre comments during an interview with the TRIGGERnometry podcast.

“Whatever the scope of what Joe Biden’s corruption is–we can just go down that rabbit hole endlessly and understand that he’s getting kickbacks from Hunter Biden’s deals in Ukraine or wherever else, or China–it is infinitesimal compared to the corruption we know Trump is involved in,” Harris told the hosts.

“It’s like a firefly to the sun…it doesn’t even stack up against Trump University,” he added. “Trump University, as a story, is worse than anything that could be in Hunter Biden’s laptop in my view.”

Huge megalithic complex of more than 500 standing stones discovered in Spain

A huge megalithic complex of more than 500 standing stones has been discovered in southern Spain that could be one of the largest in Europe, archaeologists have said.

The stones were discovered on a plot of land in Huelva, a province flanking the southernmost part of Spain’s border with Portugal, near the Guadiana River.

Spanning about 600 hectares (1,500 acres), the land had been earmarked for an avocado plantation. Before granting the permit the regional authorities requested a survey in light of the site’s possible archaeological significance. The survey revealed the presence of the stones.

“This is the biggest and most diverse collection of standing stones grouped together in the Iberian peninsula,” said José Antonio Linares, a researcher at Huelva University and one of the project’s three directors. It was probable that the oldest standing stones at the La Torre-La Janera site were erected during the second half of the sixth or fifth millennium BC, he said. “It is a major megalithic site in Europe.”

At the site they found a large number of various types of megaliths, including standing stones, dolmens, mounds, coffin-like stone boxes called cists, and enclosures.

“Standing stones were the most common finding, with 526 of them still standing or lying on the ground,” said the researchers in an article published in Trabajos de Prehistoria, a prehistoric archaeology journal. The height of the stones was between one and three metres.

Witnesses: S.F. Police Caught Catalytic Converter Thief Red-handed, Let Him Go

San Francisco police caught a man red-handed sawing off a catalytic converter from a stolen car — and let him go, even helping him find the bus stop, according to shocked eyewitnesses who said the experience left them feeling unsafe in the city.

Lauren Lindsay and Morgan Heller, roommates who live in the city’s Richmond district, heard the noise of a man using power tools to cut the converter from the car — at 3 a.m. Catalytic converters are popular targets for thieves because they include trace amounts of precious metals, such as platinum, that help reduce the toxicity of emissions from combustion engines.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported:

[Officers] responded to a 911 call about a man cutting a catalytic converter from the underbelly of a car. The officers arrived to find the alleged thief at the scene of the crime, learned he was on probation for a previous theft and then let him walk off, car jack in hand — even giving him directions to the nearest bus stop.

Roommates Lauren Lindsay and Morgan Heller witnessed the incident and bizarre police response from their apartment at 24th Avenue and Anza Street in the Richmond neighborhood and were left dumbstruck. They’d done everything right: called the cops, kept their eyes on the person the entire time, answered all the officers’ questions and agreed to participate in the case.

“Even if you package it all together with a bow on top, it still doesn’t go anywhere,” said Lindsay, 26. “It makes you feel like the police don’t really care. It makes you feel helpless.”

Crime has risen in major cities across the United States, thanks in partly to the Black Lives Matter and “defund the police” movements, as well as left-wing prosecutors who have often benefited from lavish spending by billionaire George Soros.

But San Francisco is almost in a class of its own. A statewide prison reform referendum, Proposition 47 in 2014, reduced sentences for many crimes, allowing thieves to escape jail time for thefts less than $950. And left-wing district attorney George Gascón, who was appointed after Kamala Harris left for the Senate, oversaw “reforms” that saw petty crime rise.

Sam Harris Approves of Media Misinforming Voters to Stop Trump

Supposed free-thinker and renowned atheist Sam Harris has admitted that he approves of the corporate media manipulating and misinforming the public to stop Donald Trump.

So much for pretending you believe in people hearing all the facts and making up their own minds about things. No, no … in order to preserve democracy, we must manipulate the people, lie to them by way of omission, and hide the truth.

HARRIS: [Trump’s corruption] doesn’t answer the people who say it’s completely unfair to not have looked at the laptop in a timely way and to have shut down the New York Post’s Twitter account: ‘That’s a left-wing conspiracy to deny [Trump] his [second term].’ Absolutely it was! Absolutely! But I think it was warranted.

INTERVIEWER: You’re saying you’re content with a left-wing conspiracy to prevent somebody from being democratically reelected president.

Harris doesn’t say, No, that’s not okay. Instead, he argues that it was a conspiracy out in the open, so not really a conspiracy.

Sam Harris is one of those mercenary leftists who likes to stroke those on the right desperate for anyone on the left to agree with them about anything. So, yeah, he’ll say a few things we agree with. But at heart, he’s a fascist leftist. Just another scumbag willing to not only deceive you, but openly brag about his willingness to deceive you — laugh right in your face — to show off for his left-wing pals.

And Harris’s willingness to deceive you and laugh about deceiving you is not his only sin. He also lies about Trump’s “corruption” being a fact when he has been convicted of nothing, despite six years and billions of dollars aligned against him in the media, local and federal law enforcement, and all the impeachments and January 6 kangaroo courts.
