Zohran Mamdani Announces That Children of Illegal Aliens Will be Included in City’s ‘Free’ Childcare Program

New York City’s new Democratic Socialist (communist) Mayor Zohran Mamdani recently made it clear that the children of people in the country illegally will be included in the city’s new ‘free’ childcare program.

He went on to reaffirm New York’s status as a sanctuary city and pushed lies about ICE arresting people without showing warrants.

It’s amazing that New York City is going down this road just as a daycare centered fraud scandal is on the verge of unseating the governor and attorney general in Minnesota.

FOX News reports:

Mamdani clarifies NYC won’t check immigration status for universal childcare enrollees

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani clarified Friday that the city wouldn’t check the immigration status of children enrolling in his administration’s universal pre-K and 3-K programs.

“Just to put it very clearly, these are programs for every single New Yorker,” Mamdani, who took office at the beginning of the year, said in a media roundtable discussion. “These are not programs that are going to ask the immigration status of any one of the children.

“All of those children are New Yorkers. They should all be enrolled in 3-K and pre-K, no matter where they were born or where they come from. And we are also proud to be a sanctuary city.”

He said that means ICE agents are denied access to schools, hospitals and city properties “unless those ICE agents can present a judicial warrant signed by a judge. We know that the vast majority of the time, ICE agents are not presenting that kind of documentation. If they’re presenting any kind of documentation, it tends to be an administrative warrant. And, a lot of times, there isn’t any kind of documentation provided.”

The mayor said earlier that the program is open to any New Yorkers who have children turning 3 or 4 anytime in 2026, adding the program could save New Yorkers tens of thousands of dollars a year “by providing them with free childcare.”

California man arrested for allegedly stealing millions in homeless funds

California officials have arrested Alexander Soofer, who allegedly used tens-of-millions of taxpayer dollars meant to house and feed the homeless to fund his lavish lifestyle, Fox News has learned.

Soofer was the executive director of the charity Abundant Blessings, which received government funding for its work.

First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli said in a news conference on Friday that Soofer has been charged with wire fraud, a felony that carries a maximum of 20 years in prison.

“I want to tell you a little bit about his organization, Abundant Blessings. It was a South Los Angeles-based charity whose purpose is to help house and properly feed the estimated 72,000 homeless people living in the greater Los Angeles area. His organization received more than $23 million in taxpayer funds for the purpose of housing and feeding the homeless,” Essayli said.

“California was pushing this money out quickly. A lot of money went out the door, with, frankly, very little vetting, very little checks and balances. And, he’s one of the individuals that got it in this organization,” he added.

WHAT HAPPENED TO AFFORDABILITY? Tax Rate in Virginia Poised to Become Highest in the Nation After Democrats Take Over

For months now, Democrats in various locations have been running on talking points about ‘affordability’ but it is just talking points, nothing more.

Case in point, Virginia. Democrats took control of Virginia just days ago and the state is already poised to have the highest tax rate in the country, beating even California.

Does that sound like affordability to you?

From Liberty Unyielding, via the Fairfax GOP:

Virginia State Tax Rate Could Rise From 5.75% to 13.8%, Highest In The Nation

Bills pending in the Virginia state legislature could raise the state income tax a lot. The most likely to pass bill would increase the state income tax rate from 5.75% to 8% on incomes over $600,000 and 10% on incomes over $1,000,000. Another bill would impose an additional 3.8% tax (a “net investment income tax”) on most income above $500,000. If both bills pass, Virginia would have an 13.8% tax rate. That would be higher than what is currently the highest state tax rate in America, the 13.3% rate in California for households with million-dollar incomes. It would be far higher than the top tax rates in the region around Virginia, such as the 3.99% tax rate in North Carolina, the 4.82% rate in West Virginia, and the zero percent tax rate in Tennessee, which has no state income tax.

The most likely to pass bill is HB 979, introduced by Delegate Vivian Watts, the powerful chair of the Finance Committee in Virginia’s House of Delegates. HB 979 “establishes two new tax brackets beginning on and after January 1, 2027, that tax income in excess of $600,000 but not in excess of $1,000,000 at a rate of eight percent and income in excess of $1,000,000 at a rate of 10 percent.”

But wait, there’s more!

ICE Tells Legal Observer, ‘We Have a Nice Little Database, and Now You’re Considered a Domestic Terrorist’

Video taken this morning in Maine shows an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer taking pictures of a legal observer’s car. When she asks why he’s doing that, he says, “Because we have a nice little database, and now you’re considered a domestic terrorist.”

The video is the latest example of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) labeling anyone who engages in First Amendment–protected activity opposing the Trump administration’s mass deportation program as a “domestic terrorist” and suggesting they’ll be subject to federal investigations.

The DHS did not immediately respond to request for comment on the scope of the database mentioned by the officer or whether it considers protected First Amendment activity to be conduct that warrants inclusion on the database.

Independent journalist Ken Klippenstein reported today that an unnamed federal law enforcement official told him that DHS “has ordered immigration officers to gather identifying information about anyone filming them.”

In September, President Donald Trump issued a memo ordering federal law enforcement to focus on ideologies that are allegedly fueling “domestic terrorism.” These include “anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender,” as well as opposition to “foundational American principles (e.g., support for law enforcement and border control).”

As Reason‘s Joe Lancaster wrote at the time, the memo was “an assault on the First Amendment” that listed protected free speech “as evidence of criminality that requires federal intervention.”

And since the Trump administration’s deportation campaign began last year, DHS officials have repeatedly insisted that following and recording federal immigration agents in public is a violation of a federal statute that makes it a crime to assault or impede law enforcement officers.

There have been dozens of recorded instances of ICE and Border Patrol officers harassing, assaulting, and detaining people for filming and following them, even though there is a well-established First Amendment right to record and observe the police.

For example, today Slate published the first-person account of Brandon Sigüenza, a Minneapolis man who was volunteering with a local group that monitors and records ICE activity. Federal immigration officers surrounded his car, smashed out his windows, roughly arrested him, and detained him for hours.

Sigüenza also submitted a sworn declaration describing his experiences in a civil rights lawsuit challenging the DHS’ actions in Minneapolis.

Ex-DEA agent gets 5 years in prison for using badge to protect drug trafficking friends: “Little dark secret”

In two decades of kicking in doors for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Joseph Bongiovanni often took on the risks of being the “lead breacher,” meaning he was the first person into the room.

On Wednesday, he felt a familiar uncertainty awaiting sentencing for using his DEA badge to protect childhood friends who became prolific drug traffickers in Buffalo, New York.

“I never knew what was on the other side of that door — that fear is what I feel today,” Bongiovanni, 61, told a federal judge, pounding the defense table as his face reddened with emotion. “I’ve always been innocent. I loved that job.”

U.S. District Court Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo sentenced the disgraced lawman to five years in federal prison on a string of corruption counts. The punishment was significantly less than the 15 years prosecutors sought even after a jury acquitted Bongiovanni of the most serious charges he faced, including an allegation he pocketed $250,000 in bribes from the Mafia.

The judge said the sentence reflected the complexity of the mixed verdicts following two lengthy trials and the almost Jekyll-and-Hyde nature of Bongiovanni’s career, in which the lawman racked up enough front-page accolades to fill a trophy case.

Bongiovanni once hurtled into a burning apartment building to evacuate residents through billowing smoke. He locked up drug dealers, including the first ever prosecuted in the region for causing a fatal overdose.

“There are two completely polar opposite versions of the facts and polar opposite versions of the defendant,” Vilardo said, assuring prosecutors five years behind bars would pose a considerable hardship to someone who has never been to prison.

Email Shows Top Fulton County Election Officials KNEW About Election Count Discrepancies in November 2020

On Wednesday, the Georgia State Election Board held a hearing during which Joe Rossi, co-author of the now-famous SEB Complaint 2023-025, was afforded the opportunity to finally present a rebuttal to a previously-heard report from the Secretary of State’s office in May 2024.  During that May hearing, neither Rossi nor co-author Kevin Moncla were afforded an opportunity to rebut the report to the SEB.

Among other severe issues, one of 2023-025’s claims was that 3,125 ballots were actually duplicate ballots added to the final machine count on December 4, 2020.  According to Rossi’s testimony, that number is now up to 3,900, allegedly found by the Department of Justice in its investigation, which Rossi disclosed has already begun.

Rossi showed an example of how the duplicated ballots were scanned in a way that makes it highly unlikely that it was a “human error” or mistake, and also difficult to discover.

Davos Elites Push Lab-Grown ‘Meat’ Despite Massive Backlash

As the Trump administration’s Make America Healthy Again initiative ramps up its assault on processed poisons and added sugars, Davos elites are scrambling to defend their synthetic food agenda. From lab-grown “meat” to artificial additives, the WEF crowd insists their tech-driven “solutions” will save the planet, even as public resistance mounts and states impose bans on cultivated cell products.

This clash highlights the divide between policies prioritizing nutrient-dense, farm-fresh eats and the globalist push for factory-farmed fakes and lab grown substances riddled with unknown risks.

WEF Insider Touts Lab-Grown Meat as ‘Way Forward’ Amid Ecological Claims

In a discussion on food innovation, Davos participant Andrea Illy championed tech foods like cultivated meat, dismissing cultural resistance as outdated, despite acknowledging massive consumer backlash.

Anti-ICE MN Church Storming Mob Leaders Arrested

Federal authorities have arrested multiple anti-ICE agitators following the disruption of a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday, marking a significant escalation in the federal response to coordinated attacks on places of worship.

Bondi identified Nekima Levy Armstrong, Chauntyll Louisa Allen, and William Kelly as suspects connected to the incident at Cities Church in St. Paul.

The arrests stem from a Sunday incident in which dozens of activists stormed the church during a service, confronting congregants and clergy while the service was underway.

“Minutes ago at my direction, HSI and FBI agents executed an arrest in Minnesota,” Bondi wrote on X.

“So far, we have arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.”

Bondi announced a second arrest shortly afterward.

Dem Candidate In Hot Water Legally After Making Sick Comment About Trump

A CNN commentator and self-styled political candidate is facing intense scrutiny after he falsely claimed that President Donald Trump was part of a “sex-trafficking network” during a panel discussion.

The comment was made by Cameron Kasky, a Parkland shooting survivor who received national recognition as a gun control activist. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, he joined classmates like David Hogg and a handful of others in becoming a national spokesman for gun control.

In one infamous moment, Kasky bizarrely told then-Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) during a town hall discussion that it was impossible to look at him without seeing Rubio “shooting my classmates.”

After high school, Kasky attended Columbia University for several semesters but later dropped out. He primarily works as an activist and media personality who has identified as a democratic socialist and “queer.”

Most recently, Kasky jumped into a crowded Democratic Party primary field to replace the rating Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) in the Empire State’s 10th Congressional District.

On Tuesday evening, Kasky joined a panel discussion on CNN NewsNight to discuss current issues of the day. He repeatedly clashed with conservative commentator Scott Jennings, at one point telling him “you don’t get to say the word ‘illegals’ anymore,” during a discussion on illegal immigration.

“I don’t?” Jennings immediately shot back. “Who are you to tell me what I can and can’t say? I’ve never met you, brother. I can say whatever I want. They’re illegal aliens, and that’s what the law calls them. Illegal aliens, that’s what I’m gonna call them.”

WHOA! “Go F*ck Yourself… Rape My Children, You Sick Bastard!” UNHINGED J6 TV Star Michael Fanone Screams at Ivan Raiklin During Jack Smith Committee Hearing – Democrats Cheer as he Exits Hearing Room with Capitol Police (VIDEO) – UPDATE: Fanone FLIPS OFF Lawmakers During Hearing!

Former DC Metropolitan Police Officer and January 6 Hoax TV star Michael Fanone became unhinged at a committee hearing on Capitol Hill, screaming profanities and threatening January 6er Ivan E. Raiklin.

Though it is still unclear what happened, Ivan Raiklin told The Gateway Pundit that he simply stuck his hand out to say hello, and Panone “just completely flipped the switch,” suggesting that he may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Four January 6 police officers are in the crowd at today’s hearing to support Jack Smith’s targeting of President Trump and conservative lawmakers.

Panaone wore a shirt that reads “Fighting Nazis since 1996” to the hearing.

During a brief afternoon recess in Smith’s testimony, the confrontation broke out with Panone screaming, “Go f*ck yourself” and getting in Raiklin’s face. F*cking do something. Do something.” He continued, “Trust me, I’m using a lot of restraint right now,” as a large man held him back and Capitol Police officers approached the situation.

Panone then claimed, “This guy has threatened my family, threatened my children, threatened my–threatened to rape my children! Rape my children, you sick bastard! Rape my children!”
