Three Zizians face trial together in Maryland amid sprawling federal investigation

Three members of a violent cultlike group, including its alleged ringleader, will be tried together on charges of trespassing, gun and drug possession after police discovered them camping in box trucks in rural western Maryland.

The group known as Zizians, which attracted a fringe contingent of computer scientists who connected online over their shared anarchist beliefs, has been linked to six killings spanning three states in recent years.

The Maryland cases were originally scheduled for separate trials, but the defendants requested a joint proceeding despite concerns from their attorneys; a judge granted the request following a court hearing Tuesday afternoon.

Jack “Ziz” LaSota and her associates Michelle Zajko and Daniel Blank were arrested in February after a man told police that “suspicious” people had parked two box trucks on his property and asked to camp there for a month, according to authorities. The trucks were found in a largely remote wooded area near the Maryland-Pennsylvania line, a mountainous region dotted with small towns.

LaSota, a transgender woman who’s regarded as the group leader, entered the courtroom Tuesday hoisting a brown paper bag filled with documents. Throughout the hearing, LaSota and Zajko repeatedly interjected to address the judge directly, disregarding conventional courtroom practices and occasionally speaking over their attorneys. The regular interruptions added to the already unusual circumstances of the case, which hinges on the findings of federal investigators despite being prosecuted in state court.

The main issue discussed Tuesday was the timeline of the proceedings. After the trio was arrested in February on trespassing and illegal gun possession charges, prosecutors filed a superseding indictment last month with new allegations, including LSD possession.

Defense attorneys argued prosecutors are trying to slow-walk the case while federal authorities continue investigating the Zizians.

Attempted Murder Charges for Left-Wing Extremists Involved in Planned Ambush on ICE Officers in Texas with “Intent to Kill”

On Monday, acting U.S. Attorney Nancy Larson announced that attempted murder charges are being brought against ten individuals involved in a coordinated attack on ICE officers in Alvarado, Texas.

The individuals are alleged to be part of an Antifa cell from North Texas.

According to the criminal complaint, the defendants, dressed in black military-style clothing, began shooting fireworks at the facility as part of an organized attack.

statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Texas shares:

After approximately 10 minutes of convening, one or two individuals broke off from the main group and began to spray graffiti on vehicles and a guard structure in the parking lot at the facility. An Alvarado police officer responded to the scene after correctional officers called 911 to report suspicious activity. When the Alvarado police officer arrived, one alleged defendant positioned in nearby woods shot the officer in the neck area. Another alleged assailant across the street fired 20 to 30 rounds at unarmed correctional officers who had stepped outside the facility.

As alleged in the complaint, AR-style rifles were found at the scene. The assailants fled from the detention center but were stopped by additional law enforcement officers. Some defendants were wearing body armor, some were armed, and some had two-way radios. A total of twelve sets of body armor were found during searches of vehicles associated with the defendants, on their persons, and in the area around the Prairieland Detention Center.

Additionally, officers found spray paint, flyers stating, “FIGHT ICE TERROR WITH CLASS WAR!” and “FREE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS,” and a flag stating, “RESIST FACISM – FIGHT OLIGARCHY.” One of the alleged attackers had cell phones inside a “Faraday bag,” used to block phone signals and commonly used by criminal actors to try to prevent law enforcement from tracking their location.

Ten individuals were charged in one complaint with three counts of attempted murder of federal agents and three counts of discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

The statement identifies ,Cameron Arnold, Savannah Batten, Nathan Baumann, Zachary Evetts, Joy Gibson, Bradford Morris, Maricela Rueda Seth Sikes, Elizabeth Soto, and Ines Soto.

San Antonio City Council Candidate Calls For the Killing of ICE Agents – and DHS is Already Tracking Him Down! — “We’ll See You Soon”

A San Antonio City Council candidate called for the killing of ICE agents on Monday evening and the DHS is already tracking him down.

Federal agents descended on MacArthur Park in the sanctuary city of Los Angeles on Monday to conduct an immigration raid.

Karen Bass bullied her way in and demanded the raid stop.

Mayor Bass demanded to speak to the person in charge, however, the border patrol chief hit back hard and told Bass to pound sand.

“I don’t work for Karen Bass. Better get used to us now, cause this is going to be normal very soon. We will go anywhere, anytime we want in Los Angeles,” Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino told Fox News reporter Bill Melugin.

Later Monday, an X account allegedly belonging to San Antonio City Council candidate and UTSA student Matthew Gauna, called for ICE agents to be killed in response to Bill Melugin’s tweet.

“And they will get shot by the Los Angeles public. I wanna see a few dead ICE agents Los Angeles! Don’t let me down,” the Matthew Gauna X account said.

House Democrats Admit Their Radical Base Is Calling for Bloodshed at ICE Facilities to Stop Trump — Urging Lawmakers to Abandon Law and Order, Embrace Political Violence

Radical activists at multiple Democrat town halls told House members that mere hearings and lawsuits are “not good enough” and that Democrats must “be willing to get shot” at ICE facilities to make headlines.

According to Axios“Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot” when confronting ICE personnel — a shocking admission by House Democrats who say their base’s anger is reaching dangerous levels.

The news outlet reported:

“This idea that we’re going to save every norm and that we’re not going to play [Republicans’] game … I don’t think that’s resonating with voters anymore,” said one House Democrat.

Another told Axios that a “sense of fear and despair and anger” among voters “puts us in a different position where … we can’t keep following norms of decorum.”

[…]

“We’ve got people who are desperately wanting us to do something … no matter what we say, they want [more],” said Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.), the chair of the center-left New Democrat Coalition, told Axios.

[…]

The grassroots wants more. “Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot” when visiting ICE facilities or federal agencies, a third House Democrat told Axios.

“Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough … [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public,” the lawmaker said.

A fourth House Democrat said constituents have told them “civility isn’t working” and to prepare for “violence … to fight to protect our democracy.”

A fifth House Democrat told Axios that “people online have sent me crazy s*** … told me to storm the White House and stuff like that,” though they added that “there’s always people on the internet saying crazy stuff.”

Hours later, a man was shot and killed Monday morning after he ambushed Border Patrol agents, armed with a rifle and tactical gear, outside of a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas.

This comes after a Texas police officer was shot and wounded in the neck late Friday night in an apparent ambush attack by an armed group outside the ICE Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, located just south of Dallas-Fort Worth.

Mexico City Protest Against American Ex-Pat ‘Invasion’ Turns Violent

In a role reversal that underscores a universal resentment of economic and social impacts caused by a major influx of foreigners, demonstrators marched in Mexico City on Friday to protest against the city’s status as a hot new residential destination for American ex-pats and remote workers. Though it started peacefully, many demonstrators turned violent, with some of them accosting Americans and smashing the restaurants, banks and other businesses that cater to them.

Angered by soaring rents they rationally blame on foreigners, hundreds of protesters marched through Condesa and Roma — two neighborhoods that are particularly popular with Americans living in or visiting Mexico City —  and proceeded to the US embassy and to a metro station. Their signs expressed a variety of sentiments:

  • Gringo: Stop Stealing Our Home
  • Mexico For Mexicans
  • Pay Taxes, Speak Spanish, Use Pesos Or Get Out Of Here
  • Death To The Neo-Colonizer
  • Expat = Gentrifier
  • Your New Home Is An Invasion
  • Gentrification = Neo-Colonization
  • To Gentrify Isn’t Progress, It’s Dispossession
  • We Shouldn’t Feel Like Foreigners In Our Own Land

Victim Blaming: UK Judge Uses Violence Committed Against Man as Evidence of His Guilt

A man in London was convicted of a “religiously aggravated public order offense” after HE was attacked by a triggered radical.

Hamit Coskun, a Kurdish-Armenian asylum seeker, was fined over $300 after burning a Quran outside the Turkish consulate as a protest against Turkey’s Islamist government.

Moussa Kadri attacked Coskun with a knife, knocked him down, and kicked him.

But it is Coskun, the victim of a physical attack, who is being punished.

The Westminster Magistrates’ Court held Coskun responsible, citing the violent reaction as evidence of his guilt.

Judge John McGarva stated, “Burning a religious book, although offensive, to some is not necessarily disorderly.”

“What made his conduct disorderly was the timing and location of the conduct and that all this was accompanied by abusive language. There was no need for him to use the ‘F word’ and direct it towards Islam.”

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) noted the irony of the attacker’s actions being used to convict the victim.

Transgender TikToker Goes Viral for Urging Followers to ‘Get a Gun’ and Kill ICE Agents

A transgender TikToker, who is a biological female, has gone viral for urging her followers to “get a gun” and kill Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

The far-left TikToker, who goes by the name “Redacted Radical” on the platform, appears to be from either Alaska or California.

As of the time of publishing, The Gateway Pundit has been unable to verify her identity independently.

“You can just kill ICE agents,” she begins the video by saying. “You know that? You can just kill them.”

She continues, “You don’t have to hold your phone in their face and ask people when their birthday is, and ask people what their name is, and try to find wherever they end up in Los Angeles. You can kill them.”

“This isn’t about social media clout anymore,” she says. “This isn’t about video. This isn’t about the phone. This is about get a gun and start killing ICE agents.”

She concludes, “They are deputized corrections officers. Kill them.”

Before posting the video, she posted another one complaining that TikTok did not allow people to say whatever they wanted on the platform.

TikTok has since removed the original video, which she reposted. The platform subsequently removed the sound.

DC government is faking crime data, systematically under-reporting violence

Despite triumphant claims of “historic drops” in violent crime, D.C. residents find ourselves kicking off the summer with feelings of uncertainty. As I explore a possible run for local office, I have learned that systematic undercharging is fueling some portion of these so-called declines in violent crime. In short, a manipulation of the crime statistics is causing them not to align with reality, which helps explain why people in Washington don’t feel safe.

When a violent crime is reported as a “felony threat,” rather than “assault with a dangerous weapon,” it is not counted as a violent crime.

Our city leaders must act now to determine whether this is happening, to what extent, and how it impacts not only those within my own Ward 6, but also throughout the district.

On Feb. 20, to great fanfare, the Metropolitan Police Department Public Information Officer released the following statement: “Our initiatives and investments led to a historic 35 percent drop in violent crime in 2024, including a 32 percent drop in homicides and a 39 percent decrease in robberies. These decreases drove crime in Washington, D.C. down to its lowest levels in more than two decades.”

Similarly, the Department of Justice previously announced that “total violent crime for 2024 in the District of Columbia is down 35 percent from 2023 and is the lowest it has been in over 30 years, according to data collected by the [Metropolitan Police Department].”

And, not surprisingly, these statistics have worked their way into the community’s bloodstream. In a May 24 Ward 6 Update, Councilman Charles Allen trumpeted them in his public safety updates by noting “a consistent decline in violent crime that we want to sustain and continue to drive down even further.”

Clinton donor and lobbyist’s chilling threats against Minnesota capitol days after Democrat lawmakers were shot

Minnesota lobbyist is facing felony charges after he allegedly threatened to shoot people at the Minnesota State Capitol just days after a lawmaker in the state was assassinated and another critically injured.

Jonathan Michael Bohn – who has made numerous donations to Democratic causes including Hillary Clinton‘s presidential campaign –  was arrested on Wednesday after making the threats via text message.

The 41-year-old Bohn works as the public affairs director of the Inter Faculty Organization (IFO). He made his first appearance in Carver County District Court on Friday.

In court, prosecutors said he had texted someone that he was ‘excited to have his gun at the capitol and blow someone’s effing face off’.

The criminal complaint, seen by KARE11, prosecutors claim he also said that: ‘After January 6, I bought a pistol.

‘Today I bought 500 bullets. I can’t wait to shoot one of you mother******* in the face,’ he wrote.

Officials said that a search of his home uncovered a firearm and he was placed under arrest.

According to the Minnesota House GOP, the text was received by a constituent of Rep. Jim Nash who then reported it to the authorities.

The outlet also reported that Bohn cried throughout his first appearance as Judge Eric Braaten set his bond at $1 million and ordered him to not contact the person he had text.

Bohn was also ordered to stay at least a half a mile radius away from the Capitol complex.

His attorney, John Lesch, said Bohn was engaged in a political argument when he made the comments.

Lesch contended that the remarks were inappropriate but didn’t mean to convey an actual intent to harm anyone.

He told the court that Bohn had been angered by a post that had mocked two of his friends, Rep. Melissa Hortman and Sen. John Hoffman.

Hortman was murdered last week alongside her husband Mark, while the same gunman also attempted to kill Hoffman and his wife.

Authorities say Trump supporter Vance Boelter, 57,  is responsible for the killings, he was arrested late on Sunday night following an extensive manhunt

Boelter was charged with a total of six federal counts – two for stalking, two for murder, and two for shooting and firearms offenses.
