Jack Smith Starts Getting Nervous — Demands Chance to Testify Against ‘Mischaracterizations’ of His Trump Prosecutions

Jack Smith, who led the attempts to prosecute and imprison President Trump in the run-up to the 2024 election over his efforts to challenge the voter fraud that took place in the 2020 presidential election, said he wants to appear “in open hearings” to share his side of the story.

In a letter from his attorneys, he pledged to address the “numerous mischaracterizations” surrounding his investigations, which were designed to prevent Trump from taking back the presidency.

The letter, sent by Smith’s lawyers and obtained by CNN, states:

We have received Chairman Jordan’s October 14, 2025, letter and are aware of Chairman Grassley’s interest in testimony from our client, Jack Smith.

Given the many mischaracterizationsof Mr. Smith’s investigation into President Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified document sand role in attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election, Mr. Smith respectfully requests the opportunity to testify in open hearings before the House and Senate Judiciary Committees.

During the investigation of President Trump, Mr. Smith steadfastly adhered to establishedlegal standards and Department of Justice guidelines, consistent with his approach throughouthis career as a dedicated public servant.

He is prepared to answer questions about the Special Counsel’s investigation and prosecution, but requires assurance from the Department of Justicethat he will not be punished for doing so.

To that end, Mr. Smith needs guidance from theDepartment of Justice regarding federal grand jury secrecy requirements and authorization onthe matters he may speak to regarding, among other things, Volume II of the Final Report of theSpecial Counsel, which is not publicly available.

In addition, to provide full and accurate answersto your questions, Mr. Smith requires access to the Special Counsel files, which he no longer no longer has the ability to access.

Just last week, Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee referred Smith to the Department of Justice for criminal investigation and possible disbarment over “deeply disturbing revelations” that he illegally obtained Senate Republicans’ call logs.

Harvard Silent as Dean Defends Death Threats Against Trump

A Harvard dean defended death threats against Donald Trump and said “rioting and looting” are legitimate “parts of democracy.” Will the Ivy League institution sanction him? Even though the school is at loggerheads with the Trump administration, it’s looking the other way at this behavior.

The dean, Gregory Davis, is the “main liaison for students needing extra help achieving their academic and wellness goals” at Harvard University’s Dunster House. “Over the past two weeks,” the Free Beacon‘s Aaron Sibarium reports, “Over the past two weeks, conservative students at Harvard have unearthed a series of social media posts they say disqualify Davis for his position.” Chief among them: “I don’t – at all – blame people wishing Trump ill. … [F]uck that guy and [i]f he dies, he dies.”

Harvard has not commented publicly on the posts, and a spokesman for the school, Jonathan Palumbo, said he couldn’t discuss personnel matters. Davis has said the posts do not reflect his “current thinking or beliefs,” though it was kind of recently—June 2024—that he exhorted people to “hate the police.” Palumbo declined to comment regarding whether it was appropriate for a dean to legitimize calls for political violence.

Delusional Chuck Schumer Implies the Trump Administration is Being ‘Shielded’ by the Press

How out of touch with reality is Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer? So out of touch that he recently suggested that the Trump administration is being shielded by the press.

Schumer was talking about the fact that some media companies are being acquired by conservatives who might be more positive in their coverage of Trump and the administration. You know, the way that 99 percent of the media has treated Democrats for decades now.

In the course of his remarks, he used this to say that we aren’t going to have a free press anymore. Naturally, he tried to tie in the whole stupid ‘No Kings’ thing as well.

Transcript via Schumer’s Senate Page:

Schumer: I had a few questions this morning of my great colleague — and once again, his strength, his indomitability, and his caring about this democracy, which we all know is at risk, is just amazing and so my question relates to something he touched on before, in his discussions with our great senator from New Hampshire. There are so many ways this administration is trying to rip apart democracy and one of them, you mentioned a minute ago, is the threatening of media to just do what Trump wants and the man who’s head of the FCC seems to be an instrumentality of that.

Trump has said, things they say I don’t like should not be put on the air, and they’ve held over the heads the broadcast licenses of some of our great media companies. In other ways, they’re getting some of their friends to take over some of our media companies. And isn’t one of the greatest blows to democracy — I would ask my colleague — one of the greatest blows to democracy when we don’t have a fully free press?

And has it been a hallmark of so many of the countries that he has mentioned that are autocracies or absolute dictatorships to have no free press, so no information can come out? And doesn’t that dramatically hurt the American people, when government is shielded and can do whatever it wants — and hurt as many people as it wants — because you don’t have a free press? Shouldn’t it really frighten every American that this is a large step on the road away from democracy towards tyranny and towards authoritarian government?

Federal Judge to Extend Block on Trump’s National Guard Deployment in Chicago

A federal judge in Chicago on Oct. 22  said she would extend her order blocking President Donald Trump from deploying National Guard troops in the Windy City while awaiting the Supreme Court’s ruling on the dispute.

The plaintiffs—the state of Illinois and city of Chicago—filed a lawsuit on Oct. 6 after Secretary of War Pete Hegseth invoked Section 12406 of Title 10 of the U.S. Code to federalize up to 300 members of the Illinois National Guard and up to 400 members of the Texas National Guard for deployment in Chicago.

A president may take over, or federalize, state National Guard troops under certain emergency circumstances. The Trump administration argues the deployment is needed to help the federal government enforce federal immigration laws in Chicago.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said on Oct. 5 that Trump’s deployment of the troops was an “invasion.”

“There is no reason a president should send military troops into a sovereign state without their knowledge, consent, or cooperation,” Pritzker said.

On Oct. 9, U.S. District Judge April Perry issued a temporary restraining order blocking the “federalization and deployment of the National Guard of the United States within Illinois.” The order was set to expire at 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 23.

Hillary Clinton Really Should Keep Quiet On This Topic…

Presidential loser Hillary Clinton is big mad about President Trump improving the White House, so mad that she fired off another tweet with replies closed so no one can comment.

As we highlighted earlier, the new leftist software update includes a talking point about Trump now literally ‘destroying’ the White House because work has begun on demolishing and remodelling parts of the East Wing of the building where a grand ballroom is being constructed.

All of this is being paid for by Trump and other private investors, and it’s a much needed upgrade given that events currently have to be held in makeshift tents.

Add to this the fact that the part being demolished was only installed in the 1940s and is not an original feature of the building.

No matter, the screeching hath commenced.

Enter Hillary with her usual complete lies.

If anyone were allowed to reply to her stupid remark, aside from the one rainbow trans flag person on there, it might go something like this…

Wall Street Journal Weeps for Murderers Trump Sent to Supermax

Shortly before he left office, President Biden commuted the sentences of 37 convicted murderers. Those convicts, all on death row, were now facing life behind bars.

Two of those convicts, Norris Holder and Billie Allen, killed bank guard and former police officer Richard Heflin in a 1997 bank robbery. Other family members of murder victims were outraged and hurt by Biden’s move.

Alex Snell, the brother of Amanda Snell, was one of those people. Amanda, 20, was strangled by Jorge Avila-Torrez in 2009. “I’d rather see it go back to the way it was, where he was sentenced to death,” Snell said. “He should have gotten that penalty.”

President Biden said he commuted the sentences (save for three convicted of terrorism or hate crimes) because he had a change of heart on the death penalty, and the Wall Street Journal says he found it “needlessly cruel, as well as impossible to administer fairly.”

It seems the Wall Street Journal believes those commutations somehow absolve the convicted murderers from facing consequences for their actions, and they’re appalled that President Trump hasn’t made their lives behind bars easier.

Here’s more:

Among the last actions by former President Joe Biden before leaving the Oval Office was commuting the death sentences of 37 convicted murderers.

Hours after President Trump took over, he ordered the life sentences of these men be made, in effect, a living hell.

With that guidance, officials canceled plans to transfer most of the inmates to mainline prisons. Instead, Emil Bove III, the acting deputy attorney general at the time, ordered all but a handful requiring specialized medical treatment be housed in the U.S. Penitentiary at Florence, Colo., the harshest institution in the federal system.

Inmates at the Colorado prison—intended for the nation’s most violent—typically spend 23 hours a day alone in their cells. At a meeting in May with Attorney General Pam Bondi for families of loved ones killed by the 37 convicts, some officials said they wished conditions at the prison, known as ADX, were even worse.

Aaron Reitz, a former assistant attorney general, held a roundtable with victims’ families. “If you’re not going to be killed lawfully at the hands of the state, well, your prison sentence is going to be hard as hell,” Reitz said in an interview.

There is little sympathy for these convicts outside of the Wall Street Journal editorial room.

Democrats Dominate the Strawman King in Their Mind

Democrats had their party Saturday and…it doesn’t matter. Nothing came of it because nothing was supposed to come from it, the event was simply to make sure the left’s radical muscles don’t atrophy and the Brownshirts don’t turn on them. They need to keep their fringe simmering, events like that help them not boil over as quickly. Most importantly, they need to keep them from thinking, and there’s nothing like a good day of chanting a body odor to keep original thought at bay.

I managed to avoid all coverage of it, and all news, until Sunday morning. “This Week” loved it like George Stephanopoulos loved Jeffrey Epstein (there’s something about those Clinton people and perverts, isn’t there?), but “Meet the Press” barely touched on it, instead opting for news. Granted, it was poorly done and biased, but it was at least relevant to an audience who wasn’t showerly challenged.

Personally, I thought of the whole thing as how Democrats are now: the racist, segregationist trash they are – calling for an end to Martin Luther King they way they were. Well, there weren’t any exceptions, not even for MLK, so they must hate him, right?

Actually, they do – they have rejected pretty much everything related to judging a person by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, haven’t they? That, to me, is more of a rejection of anything “King” related than what they claimed to be upset Donald Trump has done.

Did you notice how the media cropped the pictures and video? It was either aerial shots or closely cropped pictures with very little activity in the background visible. MSNBC interviewed a lot of their own employees, aka “contributors,” on the streets marching around. This allowed them to give the impression they were covering the event, rather than covering for it.

Wisconsin Democrats Busted for Sharing ‘No Kings’ Protest Pic Wishing Death on President Trump

Over the weekend, Leftists held their “No Kings” protests across the country. The turnout must not have been great, because several people, including Senator Elizabeth Warren, shared a 2017 video of a massive crowd and pretended turn out was high.

In reality, the protests were small and populated by White Leftist boomers. But there were some ugly signs and speakers, including the woman who mocked Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the Leftist in Chicago who called on the crowd to shoot and “take out” ICE agents, and cringe-worthy chants from George Conway.

The Wisconsin Democrats were also busted for sharing a post that included a pic of a protester wishing death on President Trump, a la the French Revolution.

Tell us you know nothing about the French Revolution without telling us you know nothing about the French Revolution.

The WisDems knew it was bad, however, because they deleted the post.

Josh Schoemann, the Republican Washington County Executive who is running for governor, asked the Democrats about it.

Journalist Exposes More Proof That FEMA Workers Collected Information About Politics of Disaster Victims

Following the disaster of Hurricane Milton, there were multiple reports throughout the affected areas in the south that FEMA workers were politicizing the response by skipping over homes that displayed Trump signs.

It’s maddening to think that such a thing could happen in the United States.

Following these reports, there were denials from some FEMA people while some pointed fingers at others claiming they were told this was official policy. In short, it mess and some people were fired.

Now the journalist Matt Taibbi has exposed more proof that this was happening.

From Racket News on Substack:

Exclusive: FEMA Workers Improperly Collected Data About Politics of Disaster Victims

Last November 8th, on the Saturday after Election Day, one of the more bizarre post-scripts to Donald Trump’s re-election emerged in the form of a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) decision to sideline one official accused of telling FEMA workers to “avoid homes advertising Trump” while canvassing for victims of Hurricane Milton in Florida. The Daily Wire spoke to multiple FEMA officials who produced screenshots of entries like “Trump sign, no contact per leadership”…

A year later, the Privacy Office of the Department of Homeland Security is releasing a review of that episode, the broader issue of using disaster relief work to collect political intelligence on voters, and the potentially withholding of benefits from some with the wrong beliefs. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the new administration found more than just one “isolated incident,” describing violations of the Privacy Act of 1974, which with a few exceptions bars collection of information about First Amendment-protected speech, like political signage. Most tellingly, though, DHS investigators found — in a near-exact parallel to trends in pro-censorship programs — that a lot of the political controversy surrounding FEMA aid grew out of the vague way in which the agency’s Disaster Survivor Assistance Field Operations Guide was written…

Some examples cited: October, 2021: “Homeowner had sign stated… this is Trump country.” September, 2021: “A lot of political flags, posters, etc. ‘Fuck Joe Biden,’ ‘MAGA 2024,’ ‘Joe Biden Sucks’ ‘Trump 2024’ We do not recommend anyone visiting this location.” November 2024: ‘There was a political flyer so I didn’t leave a FEMA brochure.” Neither Criswell nor Washington responded to requests for comment.

It’s just stunning that this even happened at all.

Military Personnel on Social Media Call for Soldiers to Disobey Orders – A Violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice

Numerous videos have surfaced on social media depicting individuals claiming to be active-duty military personnel, in uniform, instructing troops to disobey President Trump’s orders.

Some of these videos are likely fake, created by individuals engaging in stolen valor, pretending to be active-duty service members or veterans. However, others appear genuine.

This conduct seems to violate the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), which has long prohibited U.S. servicemen and women from making political statements or media appearances in uniform.

These posts not only violate that prohibition but could also be interpreted as insurrection or incitement.

Social media companies have explicit rules against “calls to action,” which are not protected under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Therefore, public calls to disobey lawful orders should be prohibited under both military and civilian law.

Yet because these posts target President Trump, social media platforms appear to ignore their own standards, while liberals applaud the so-called bravery of those who swore an oath and are now calling on others to break it.

One such video on YouTube, titled “Army Captain TELLS Troops to DISOBEY PRESIDENT’S ORDERS?!”, claims to show Army captain Dylan Blaha urging service members to defy orders if deployed under President Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

The description reads, “An Army Captain is going viral after telling service members to disobey orders if deployed under Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

He calls their actions ‘authoritarian’ and ‘fascism,’ warning troops about unlawful orders and invoking the Posse Comitatus Act.”

Another video titled “Army Drill Sgt Calls Out Pete Hegseth?! ‘Karma’s Coming…’” features Staff Sgt. Corina Martinez, who went viral after posting a TikTok about “karma” and respect in leadership.

The description explains, “An Army Drill Sergeant, Staff Sgt. Corina Martinez, has gone viral after posting a TikTok about ‘karma’ and respect in leadership.

Now she’s being accused of taking shots at Secretary of War Pete Hegseth after his hardline Quantico speech.”
