Meet the Convicted Murderers and Child Rapists Set Free by Making NC Democratic Senate Hopeful Roy Cooper’s ‘Early Release’ List

Former North Carolina governor Roy Cooper agreed to fast-track the release of 3,500 inmates as part of a racial equity settlement with the NAACP—and the list included 51 convicts serving life sentences for murder or rape, the Free Beacon’s Andrew Kerr reports. The “early release” list, obtained by Cox’s WSOC-TV as Cooper campaigns for the state’s open Senate seat, came as part of a 2021 settlement with the NAACP, which sued the state over crowded prisons during the pandemic. The NAACP claimed COVID-era prison conditions were unconstitutional and disproportionately endangered black inmates.

Cooper’s administration assured state lawmakers that nobody who “committed a crime against a person” would be released early. That didn’t happen. Among the convicts on the list was Tony D. Hartsell, who “strangled and beat the 84-year-old North Carolina woman who lived across the street from him before stabbing her 44 times, mutilating her body beyond recognition,” writes Kerr. Also included was Lorenza D. Norwood, who burned a man alive; Jervon K. Wilks, convicted of sexually abusing a 7-year-old child; and Louis E. Boyd, who raped his 12-year-old stepdaughter. All walked free after decades behind bars.

Cooper’s campaign now insists the governor had nothing to do with the releases, arguing the inmates were already parole-eligible when the settlement was reached. More than 90 percent of the 51 lifers on the list, however, were released after the settlement took effect, raising fresh questions about Cooper’s record on crime as governor of the Tar Heel State. Cooper has already faced criticism over the issue thanks to his “racial equity” task force that pushed to eliminate cash bail for certain crimes. That policy led to the release of career criminal Decarlos Brown not long before he senselessly murdered Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte subway train, the Free Beacon reported.

Trump Defends Howard Lutnick’s Visit to Epstein Island – “I Wasn’t Aware of it… I Was Never There”

President Trump on Thursday said he was not aware that Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick visited Epstein Island with his family in 2012, but defended the Secretary’s visit. 

According to emails, in December 2012, Lutnick was invited to the island with his wife and children, likely to discuss business dealings related to a company called Adfin.

“I actually haven’t spoken to him about it,” Trump told reporters after saying he “wasn’t aware of it.”

“But from what I hear, he was there with his wife and children, and I guess in some cases, some people were. I wasn’t. I was never there. Somebody will someday say that. I was never there.”

San Jose assistant principal among 11 arrested for allegedly communicating with minors for sex, police say

An assistant principal at a San Jose middle school was among a group of people arrested during a police operation targeting adults seeking minors online to engage in sexual activity, authorities announced on Wednesday.

The San Jose Police Department said in press releases that the operation was part of a broader effort to target child exploitation and human trafficking ahead of Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Police said the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force arrested 11 people between Feb. 3 and Feb. 6 in an undercover chat operation.

During the operation, undercover police and FBI agents identified 31-year-old Ruben Guzman, assistant principal at Sunrise Middle School, as a potential suspect and began an investigation. On Feb. 3, Guzman began communicating with someone he believed was a 13-year-old boy, telling him that he wanted to engage in sexual acts, and offering money in exchange, according to police.

Epstein’s Wiki Page Was ‘Hacked’ In Failed Attempt To Remove ‘Sex Offender,’ Files Show

Jeffrey Epstein’s Wikipedia page was edited in 2010 to remove references to his status as a sex offender and a mugshot, an email released by the Department of Justice (DOJ) shows.

In an email to Epstein dated Nov. 6, 2010, an individual going by the name “Al Seckel” wrote that Wikipedia had “all sorts of protections” around his mug shot taken in 2006 by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

“They have all sorts of protection around your ‘mug shot’ picture on wiki, and so, we are hacking wiki now to remove it and replace it with the photo that you sent, which will have the headline: Jeffrey Epstein, businessman, philanthropist,” wrote the message’s sender, who was in email correspondence with Epstein in 2010, according to the files.

“BTW, we also took you out in the sex offender category, and removed the headline in beginning sentence from wiki that also stated ‘sex offender,’” the email continued. “And, now it just reads businessman, philanthropist.”

The Wikipedia page’s edit history reveals an edit made the day before the email was sent which removed the category “American sex offenders.” The edit was reverted minutes later, and a user stated “There is a cited reliable source for his sex offender status.”

The author of the email also claims to have “recorded the ip addresses” of individuals reverting their edits, stating that they “actually hacked the site to block them back in.”

The same IP address made 27 changes between late October and late November 2010, many of which were made within minutes of each other, often removing mentions of Epstein’s entry in the Florida Sex Offender Registry and the experiences of children on his island.

Dr. Oz welcomed Epstein to Valentine’s Day bash after he served time as sex offender

President Donald Trump‘s hand-selected TV-host-turned-Medicaid-boss, Dr Mehmet Oz, has stunningly been named in the Jeffrey Epstein files as top officials’ links to the financier are exposed.

Oz, 65, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator, sent an email inviting Epstein to a Valentine’s Day party in 2016, according to a document recently published by the Department of Justice. 

The jumbled script of the email from Oz and his wife, Lisa, to Epstein seems to be an invitation from Paperless Post, a digital greeting card service. The event would be at Oz’s Palm Beach residence. 

It was one of several message exchanges with Epstein’s email from 2012 to 2016. 

The correspondence between the financier and the TV host and future CMS administrator came years after Epstein was convicted of soliciting a minor for prostitution in Florida, an infraction that would make him a registered sex offender. 

Epstein committed suicide on August 10, 2019, while in federal custody for sex trafficking, the government has claimed.

Another email on January 1, 2016, between Oz and Epstein is completely illegible due to encryption. 

Oz is one of several high-ranking Trump administration officials who have not just named in the file, but in communication with and in proximity of the late sex offender.

Transgender Pro-Pedophile ‘MAP’ Activists Publicly Campaigning in Seattle

Reduxx has learned that a trans-identified male and “radical queer activist” residing in Seattle, Washington, have been publicly advocating for pedophilic relationships with children while also organizing “in-person events for anyone under the queer rainbow.”

Ally Kotetsu, who describes himself as “a non-binary transgender woman who is transrace Japanese,” is campaigning both online and in public through an effort he calls Beyond the Plus, which advocates for the rights of “beings who are romantically or sexually attracted to beings who are below the age of 18.”

Kotetsu’s website describes “minor attraction” as an orientation and refers to individuals with a sexual interest in children as “MAPs” (minor attracted people). According to Beyond the Plus, “MAPs” are some of “the world’s most marginalized beings.”

The site goes on to describe “age-based attractions” as being innate and similar to heterosexuality or homosexuality.

“A number of MAPs, usually ones who are intersectional with other queer identities (though not always), consider age-based attractions to be another, less recognized type of orientation,” reads the Beyond the Plus site.

CANNIBALISM? Rep. Lauren Boebert Says Unredacted Epstein Files “Far Worse Than Imagined,” Raises Questions About Alleged Code Words and ‘Human Consumption’

In an interview on Newsmax, Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert warned that the long-concealed unredacted Jeffrey Epstein files are much darker than the public has ever been led to believe, suggesting they contain disturbing code words, references to “consumption,” and clues that might point to elite cannibalism and human meat trafficking.

Boebert, who joined a select group of lawmakers given access to pages of the newly opened files after the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, told host Rob Schmitt that what she saw went far beyond the established narrative of sex trafficking and abuse.

Boebert: This seems that it wasn’t only the trafficking of young girls, as the narrative suggests, but there are code words that suggest Jeffrey Epstein and his associates could maybe even be engaging in some consumption. Is that human consumption? Are there code words?

There’s a lot of talk of beef jerky. There’s a restaurant called The Cannibal, where the owner is listed in some of these documents. Now, that isn’t a restaurant that is claiming to serve human meat by any means, but some of this just seems like there are a lot of conspiracies that make you wonder.

Boebert noted that while a restaurant name alone isn’t proof of cannibalism, the contextual clustering of the terms, paired with discussions that appear to describe torture, raises alarming questions.

Boebert: I saw more emails about torture. These coded conversations still have a very clear topic — that torture was big. It was a big driver for them. And these were sick people doing very, very sick things.

As you mentioned, there are many women who are involved in this. You have folks who were working directly for Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. And a lot of these women are the ones sending emails saying, “Here’s one, 10 years old, 11 years old, 9 years old.”

It’s just very disturbing to see the women who are involved in this.

Three unidentified names in Epstein files raise questions about hidden connections

Three names newly unredacted from the Jeffrey Epstein files remain shrouded in mystery, with no clear public record connecting them to the convicted sex offender or explaining how they fit into his network of powerful associates.

Leonic Leonov, Zurab Mikeladze, and Salvatore Nuara were among six men whose identities lawmakers forced the Department of Justice to reveal this week after a review of the files found their names had been improperly redacted. While two of the six—billionaire Leslie Wexner and Dubai executive Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem—are well-known figures with documented ties to Epstein, the other three have proven difficult to trace.

Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie discovered the redacted names during a two-hour review of unredacted Epstein documents at the DOJ on Monday. After the lawmakers publicly identified them, the department partially unredacted the files where the names appeared.

Why JPMorgan paid off Jeffrey Epstein after 2008 financial crisis

The 2007 implosion of two Bear Stearns hedge funds that invested in risky mortgage bonds led to the wider crash of the financial system, and as it turns out years later, a fairly sizable and eyebrow raising settlement paid by mega bank JPMorgan to the convicted pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The hedge funds went belly-up in the summer of 2007, the first public casualty of the smoldering financial crisis that would take down Bear, then Lehman Brothers, and were it not for a government bailout, the entire financial system in 2008.

After Bear’s collapse, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, at the insistence of the government, took over the firm, its assets and many of its liabilities, including claims by investors that they were misled about the financial condition of the hedge funds before their collapse.

Epstein was one of those investors, placing more than $57 million of his cash into something called the “Bear Stearns High-Grade Structured Credit Strategies Enhanced Leverage hedge fund,” On the Money has learned. 

Yes, the fund’s name was a mouthful and should have served as a warning signal to anyone who wanted to invest in it. So it’s a logical question why JPM needed to settle with the creep?

A JPM spokesman had no comment, so we can only speculate. Meanwhile, Epstein’s ties to the hedge funds were buried in the recent New York Times opus about JPMorgan’s long banking relationship with the sexual predator.

Labour MSP defends ‘loyalty and care’ friendship with convicted paedophile that cost her the party whip

A Labour MSP has defended her relationship with a twice-convicted paedophile after she was suspended from the party.

Pam Duncan-Glancy said she was ‘deeply disappointed’ by Scottish Labour’s decision to remove the whip and said it was not yet clear why the party chose to do so now.

Party leader Anas Sarwar told reporters at Holyrood that the Glasgow MSP had been suspended after ‘new information’ came to light.

It is not yet clear what the information is or when the party found out about it.

Ms Duncan-Glancy was sacked as Scottish Labour’s shadow education secretary by Mr Sarwar in December following revelations about her friendship with Sean Morton, a former Labour councillor in Moray who held indecent images of children.

In 2017, he was convicted for possessing indecent child images as well as extreme pornography of animals.

He was convicted again in January 2025 for possessing indecent images of children and breaching a sexual offences order and was given a 16-month sentence.

In her statement, Ms Duncan-Glancy said that while she did not condone Morton’s crimes, he remains someone who is vulnerable and in need of support.

She said: ‘I am deeply disappointed that the Party have taken the decision to remove the whip. The details of their decision to do this now are not yet clear to me.

‘My personal relationship with someone who grew up with me, who stayed with my family for periods of time during our childhood, and who is to all intents and purposes, family, has never affected my work.

‘When he was convicted of these very serious crimes, the justice system, rightly, dealt with him. I have never condoned his crimes and have always been clear that his actions were wrong.

‘He, however, was and remains someone requiring support, and my family and I, as is often the case, ensured his welfare.

‘There is no doubt this is difficult. I accept that not everyone will understand my reasons for doing what I did.

‘My actions arise from loyalty and care. I was providing support to a highly vulnerable person. Loyalty and care are values that I think make me a good representative and for which I believe others know me for.

‘I am also hugely grateful for the outpouring of support I have been shown, from constituents, colleagues, family, friends and indeed strangers alike.
