Days After RFK Jr. Signaled Desire to ‘Make America Healthy Again,’ Time Defends Ultra-Processed Foods + More

Time magazine ran a piece Monday questioning whether food linked to a litany of illnesses is really so bad.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed on Aug. 23 that a major factor behind his decision to endorse President Donald Trump was the opportunity to help “Make America Healthy Again” in a future Trump administration.

“Don’t you want healthy children?” said Kennedy. “And don’t you want the chemicals out of our food? And don’t you want the regulatory agencies to be free from corporate corruption? And that’s what President Trump told me that he wanted.”

Days later, Time magazine signaled a possible narrative shift regarding American health with an article titled “What if Ultra-Processed Foods Aren’t as Bad as You Think?” — having just months earlier published an article entitled “Why Ultra-Processed Foods Are So Bad for You.”

Kennedy, unwilling to buy what Time appeared to be selling, tweeted, “Yeah, what if? And what if ultra-processed foods are WORSE than you think?”

On Monday night, Tucker Carlson released a compelling interview with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., following Kennedy’s recent decision to suspend his presidential campaign and endorse former President Donald Trump.

The conversation, which was posted in full on his X account, revealed Kennedy’s newfound commitment to ensuring Trump’s victory in the upcoming election.

During the discussion, Tucker Carlson and Robert Kennedy Jr. discussed the CIA’s involvement in President Kennedy’s assassination.

Robert Kennedy felt this was an important enough clip that he published it on his YouTube page.

Tucker Carlson: In your joint appearance on Friday, President Trump introduced you by saying that he plans to, if elected, establish a commission to declassify the remaining documents, regarding your uncle’s murder in 1963. I think everyone at this point knows the truth, which is the CIA is implicated in that. Those documents protect CIA, maybe among others.

Robert Kennedy Jr.: Well, whether they do or not, it’s odd that they’ve not allowed them to be released.

Tucker Carlson: What could possibly be the explanation?

Robert Kennedy Jr.: More than 60 years after my uncle’s death, It was 65 years. Oh, it was 62 years after his death. None of the people who were implicated in that crime are alive now. The last ones have died off in the last year or two. And so, it clearly is to protect the institution. That’s wrong. It’s just wrong. It’s wrong for a Democrat, and it’s wrong for a Republican.

Tucker Carlson: It’s just interesting, though, that a bipartisan list of presidents, – these six decades have kept those files classified.

Robert Kennedy Jr.: Well, you and I have both. I was astonished that Trump didn’t declassify them because he promised to during the campaign. That was Mike Pompeo who did that. Yeah, and I talked to President Trump for the first time about that this week.

Tucker Carlson: What did he say?

Robert Kennedy Jr.: He said that Mike Pompeo begged him to… I don’t think I’m telling tales out of school here. No, I think he told the same thing to you. That’s true. But he said Mike Pompeo called him and said, This would be a catastrophe to release this. You need to not do it.

Tucker Carlson: I want to say again, I think Mike Pompeo is a criminal, so that’s my view. He threatened to sue me for saying that, but I hope he will because that’s true. But that tells the whole story right there, right? That the CIA is-… Why would the CIA be trying to keep these files classified if they had nothing to do with the murder?

RFK Annihilates the DNC and Endorses Donald Trump as Democrats Threaten Re-Education Camps

I’m not going to offer any commentary on the Democratic National Convention. I just don’t have the heart to do it, and there are plenty of pundits (like pretty much all of them) who are happy to tease out the best one-liners and most obvious lies.

Instead, I’d like to hone in on a creeping issue that’s being mostly overlooked—but first, let’s set the stage. There is no doubt that we are in an existential battle for the future of America—and now, both sides believe that they are fighting for freedom.

…but we’ll get to that in a minute.

Regarding the Democrat’s sinister rebranding of what freedom actually means, consider the gaslighting coming out of the gas-bag Hillary “Cankles” Clinton.

Looking “FORWARD!” to a radical leftist regime, the wench proclaims:

“I see the freedom to make our own decisions about our health, our lives, our loves, our families, the freedom to work with dignity and prosper, to worship as we choose or not, to speak our minds freely and honestly. I see freedom from fear and intimidation, from violence and injustice, from chaos and corruption.”

To clarify, what Clinton is saying is that under Kamala’s commie regime, we will have freedom to make our own decisions, unless the government says we can’t. We will have the freedom to worship as we want, unless the government says we can’t. We will have the freedom to speak our minds, unless the government says we can’t.

I’m sure you get the point.

As far as her vision of the American people enjoying freedom from violence, injustice, chaos, and corruption, well, that’s just a flat out lie. Quite the opposite, it is the intentional unleashing of violence, the outrageous degree of injustice, the orchestrated chaos, and the predictable assembly line corruption that is meant to intimidate and strike fear in the hearts of American patriots.

As you well know, this is how Marxists operate. They lie, cheat, and steal their way into power, so that they can “forcibly overthrow” all aspects of existing society. I believe we are currently witnessing a full-court press to achieve just that.

Once in power, as all throughout their ascent, their strategy will be to divide and conquer by turning people against each other. Beyond that, they will continue to brainwash the useful idiots in a relentless deluge of propaganda, laying a firm grip on the public psyche, ala China-style.

America will never be the same.

Eventually, they will get around to rounding up the remaining dissenters for deprogramming, shuttling them off to publicly funded re-education camps.

Trump again vows to reopen JFK assassination case — this time with RFK Jr. at his side

Former President Donald Trump unveiled Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on stage with him at a Turning Point rally in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday hours after Kennedy suspended his own presidential campaign and threw his support behind Trump.

“He deserves it, he deserves it,” said Trump in response to the applause of his supporters for Kennedy, noting it might be the loudest applause of anyone he ever brought onstage.

“For the past 16 months, Bobby has run an extraordinary campaign for President of the United States,” said Trump, noting that he even “went after me a couple of times.”

Trump then claimed without evidence that Kennedy “would have easily beaten Joe Biden, but they wouldn’t let him in” to the Democratic primary.

Before turning the mic over to Kennedy, Trump vowed to create an independent commission on assassination attempts, which would review the assassination of John F. Kennedy and release all documents on the matter.

Judge Rules RFK Jr. Can Sue Biden Admin Over Censorship After Supreme Court Rejects Challenge From States

A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. can continue to pursue his lawsuit against the Biden administration over censorship at the direction of the government.

The decision comes after a June ruling by the Supreme Court, which established who can sue the Biden administration for violating their First Amendment rights when government officials pressured social media companies to suppress free speech did not have standing to sue.

According to District Court Judge Terry Doughty, Kennedy meets the standard set by the Supreme Court because there is “ample evidence” to show he was censored at the direction of government actors, and is at “substantial risk” that the censorship will continue, the Daily Caller reports.

Under the Supreme Court’s Murthy v. Missouri ruling, Doughty explained that “a court must make specific findings that a particular defendant pressured a particular platform to censor a particular topic before the platform suppressed a particular plaintiff’s speech on that topic.”

Kennedy was named by one of the “Disinformation Dozen” – and was specifically targeted by the government over what they alleged was COVID-19 misinformation, Doughty noted in his ruling – adding that there is “not much dispute” that Kennedy, and his organization – Children’s Health Defense, were “were specifically targeted by the White House, the Office of Surgeon General, and CISA [Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency].”

RFK Jr. Blocked from Testifying at Court Hearing on Pennsylvania Ballot Eligibility

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was effectively silenced by Democrat operatives during a crucial court hearing in Pennsylvania—a state that’s a must-win for anyone eyeing the presidency.

The Democrats’ latest stunt? Preventing Kennedy from testifying on his own behalf as they attempt to bar him from the ballot, claiming that his candidacy paperwork includes a bogus home address.

The allegation, which reeks of desperation, is part of a broader smear campaign aimed at keeping RFK Jr. out of the running.

Kennedy’s lawyer expressed outrage over the judge’s decision to proceed without allowing Kennedy to testify after his flight was canceled.

“This is the first that I’m hearing about this,” Commonwealth Court Judge Lori Dumas said, showing little concern for the unforeseen travel issues that led to Kennedy’s late arrival.

The hearing was scheduled to be in Philadelphia, but the last-minute change to Harrisburg severely limited Kennedy’s travel options—a fact the judge seemed all too eager to ignore.

“He was late through no fault of his own,” said RFK Jr.’s attorney, Paul Rossi. “We don’t control the airlines, and when the airline cancels the flight into Harrisburg, as you know, flights into Harrisburg are far and few between, unlike Philadelphia, where this, where this hearing was originally to be scheduled.”

RFK Jr. Says Vance Is CIA, despite Having a Former CIA Member Running His Own Campaign

RFK Jr. has warned that Trump’s new VP pick, JD Vance, is acting in the interests of the CIA, despite having a former CIA member running his own campaign.

In a clip posted on social media, RFK Jr. excoriates Vance, and by extension Trump, for being corrupt and in thrall to the vested interests of the intelligence community and military-industrial complex.

“His pick as vice president is a salute to the CIA and to the intelligence community and to the military-industrial complex,” said RFK Jr.

“And their gravy train is going to continue.”

Social-media users were quick to point out that RFK Jr. has his own direct ties to the CIA—and they didn’t mean with regard to the assassination of his uncle and father.

Back in October, RFK Jr. replaced his campaign manager, former Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich, with his daughter-in-law, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy.

Amaryllis spent a decade working for the CIA in its “most elite and clandestine operations unit,” according to The National Pulse. In her memoir, she claims to have been deployed to 16 different countries in the hunt for the world’s most dangerous terrorists.

Senior members of the CIA have poured scorn on her account of her time with the organization. William Murray, a CIA operations agent, said, “You don’t go wandering around Karachi on your own… you’ll wind up in some warlord’s harem, or you’ll wind up dead.”

Biden Finally Gives RFK Jr. Secret Service Protection

48 hours after a ‘deluded gunman‘ with no internet footprint tried to assassinate Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally from a nearby rooftop that should have been a layup for the Secret Service, the Biden administration is finally giving Secret Service protection to Robert Kennedy, Jr.

“In light of this weekend’s events, the president has directed me to work with the Secret Service to provide protection to Robert Kennedy Jr.,” said DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, adding “We are in a heightened and very dynamic threat environment.“

Earlier in the day, Trump said it was “imperative” that Kennedy be granted Secret Service protection.

“Given the history of the Kennedy Family, this is the obvious right thing to do!” he said on Truth Social.

Over the weekend, Kennedy security consultant Gavin de Becker told Politico that the campaign had a pending formal request with the DHS.

Kennedy has repeatedly asked for Secret Service protection throughout his campaign for president – including after a man was arrested twice in the same day for scaling the fence of Kennedy’s Los Angeles home last October.

Kennedy had been twice refused by DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

“It’s not right for the President to provide protection to his family and political favorites while denying it to political rivals. During his first week as Attorney General, my father assembled all the DOJ’s senior prosecutors to tell them that he would not tolerate any politicization of law enforcement,” Kennedy wrote on X at the time.

Biden Administration Files Emergency Motion to Strike Down Injunction in RFK Jr., CHD Censorship Case

Lawyers for the Biden administration today filed a motion with the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals seeking to block an injunction that would have prohibited White House officials from coercing or significantly encouraging social media platforms to suppress or censor online content.

The move came less than 24 hours after a lower court denied two crucial motions by government defendants seeking to overturn the preliminary injunction, set to take effect July 7, in the Kennedy v. Biden censorship lawsuit.

Judge Terry A. Doughty of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana on Tuesday rebuffed the administration’s attempts to delay or modify the Kennedy v. Biden preliminary injunction.

The injunction was granted in February but temporarily stayed until 10 days after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on a similar injunction in a related censorship case, Murthy v. Missouri.

On June 26, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the plaintiffs in Murthy v. Missouri did not have standing to bring the case.

In their dissenting opinion, Justices Neil Gorsuch, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito Jr. argued that the majority decision was “blatantly unconstitutional” and that the court was “shirk[ing] its duty” by failing to rein in government censorship.

Attorneys for Children’s Health Defense (CHD) and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — plaintiffs in Kennedy v. Biden — said they believe CHD and Kennedy have standing, and overall, a stronger case.

Given the 5th Circuit’s previous ruling upholding the injunction in the related Missouri v. Biden case (later named Murthy v. Missouri), attorneys who spoke with The Defender were cautiously optimistic about the new developments.
