EXPOSED: EU’s Desperate Push to Ram Ukraine Into the Bloc by 2027 — Ignoring Treaties, Crushing Sovereignty, and Setting Up for Epic Failure Just Like the Russian Assets Fiasco!

In a brazen display of bureaucratic overreach that’s straight out of a globalist nightmare, the European Union’s elite are hell-bent on forcing Ukraine’s accession by 2027, trampling on treaties, national sovereignty, and common sense.

It’s the same rigged game we saw with the attempted confiscation of Russian assets – all hype, no substance, and destined to crash and burn. Spoiler: It ain’t happening, folks.

Let’s break it down. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is demanding a fixed 2027 deadline for EU membership as part of any peace deal with Russia, claiming it’ll lock Ukraine away from Moscow’s grip.

He’s pushing hard, saying Ukraine will be “technically ready” by then and warning that without it, Russia will sabotage the process.

Rather tellingly, when Zelensky addresses his European partners who are generously funding him, he never asks; he demands. As if the world owed him something. He did the same with his previous financial backers: the Americans.

Sounds bold, right? But reality check: The EU’s own treaties and rules scream “impossible.” The Copenhagen criteria – those ironclad requirements on rule of law, human rights, and economic stability – take years, if not decades, to meet.

No shortcuts, no exceptions. Yet here we are, with Brussels hatching wild schemes like “partial membership” or “reverse enlargement” to jam Ukraine in early, reforms be damned.

The Balts are psychologically at war

Germany, the EU’s economic powerhouse, isn’t buying it. Chancellor Friedrich Merz slammed the door shut, declaring Ukraine’s 2027 entry “out of the question” and “not possible.” He insisted on full compliance with the criteria, a process that drags on even in peacetime. No fast-track for Kyiv, period.

Belgium’s Prime Minister Bart De Wever? He’s even more blunt. De Wever diagnosed the Baltic states as “psychologically at war with Russia,” willing to drag the entire continent into their paranoia.

He’s already proven his spine by torpedoing EU plans to loot frozen Russian assets for Ukraine aid, forcing a humiliating backdown.

Luxembourg Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel straight-up told Zelensky to stop issuing ultimatums, reminding him that EU rules aren’t optional. “Don’t give ultimatums – it’s not in your interest,” Bettel said, echoing what sane leaders across Europe are thinking.

Despite these massive red flags, the EU Commission under Ursula von der Leyen is pulling every dirty trick.

They’re floating “unprecedented” plans for gradual integration, like giving Ukraine early access to membership perks without full reforms.

The zealots in the Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania – are leading the charge, obsessed with poking the Russian bear at any cost.

As De Wever nailed it, they’re ready to “do anything, absolutely anything” to impose their worldview on Europe. Outlets like Politico, partially bankrolled by EU cash, are spinning this as a done deal.

Their “5 steps to get Ukraine into the EU in 2027” reads like propaganda, claiming the only real hurdle is, of course, Hungary – that “fascist” holdout, Viktor Orbán.

Ah, Hungary – the lone wolf standing against the globalist tide. Orbán blasted the 2027 plan as an “open declaration of war” against his country, vowing no Hungarian parliament will approve it “in the next 100 years.”

This whole circus mirrors the Russian assets debacle to a T. Remember how the EU hyped confiscating $300 billion in frozen Russian funds to rebuild Ukraine? They pushed hard, ignoring legal risks and Russian retaliation threats.

But Belgium balked, fearing lawsuits and economic blowback, forcing a watered-down “indefinite freeze” instead of outright seizure. Billions in “reparation loans” got floated, but the grand plan fizzled amid vetoes and reality checks.

Same script here: Overpromising, underdelivering, and trampling treaties in the name of “rule of law.” Hypocrisy much? Why the madness?

Simple – the Baltic bloc’s worldvision is infecting Brussels, desperate to yank Europe into endless conflict. Russia, Russia, Russia. But the world ain’t buying it anymore.

This fantasy will flop harder than the assets grab. The EU’s bureaucratic Quasimodo is exposed – bloated, corrupt, and out of touch.

‘Wet tent syndrome’ is killing Gaza’s infants

Last week, Mohamed Abu Jarad returned to his tent in Gaza City’s Al-Daraj neighborhood to find his three-month-old daughter, Shaza, freezing cold and no longer breathing. The family rushed the baby to hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead from hypothermia

This tragedy came only a week after one-month-old Aisha Ayesh Al-Agha had died of hypothermia in Khan Younis, and two weeks after two more Palestinian babies died from the cold in the north and center of the Strip within a few hours of each other: Mahmoud Al-Akra, only one week old; and Mohammed Wissam Abu Harbid, two months old.

In total, 10 infants under the age of 1 have died from hypothermia and extreme cold this winter, taking the total to around two dozen since the beginning of Israel’s onslaught on the enclave in October 2023, according to local health officials and Save The Children. All of them died while living in tents, their families helpless to keep them warm amid the freezing winter temperatures.

Feds charge 11 in Florida for marriage fraud scheme targeting US service members

Federal authorities have unsealed a sweeping indictment charging 11 people in connection with a marriage fraud conspiracy that allegedly recruited U.S. military service members, particularly Navy personnel, to enter sham marriages with Chinese nationals to evade immigration laws and provide illicit benefits, including unauthorized access to military installations.

The three-count indictment, announced by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, alleges the conspiracy operated from March 2024 through February 2025 and spanned multiple states, with fraudulent weddings staged in Florida, New York, Connecticut and Nevada.

Red Defection: CIA deploys new video seeking to lure Chinese soldiers to U.S. amidst PLA turmoil

he CIA deployed a new recruitment video in the Mandarin language, hoping to lure Chinese soldiers to defect amidst significant turmoil inside the People’s Liberation Army where two generals have been removed by President Xi Jinping.

The new video, entitled “The Reason for Stepping Forward: To Save the Future,” follows a series of videos dating to late 2024 that the Agency said have been successful in encouraging some Chinese to defect or cooperate with the United States.

The prior videos had some “success” in getting around Chinese Internet censorship, prompting CIA Director John Ratcliffe to make the new one, a senior U.S.official told Just the News, “If the videos didn’t work we wouldn’t be making more of them.”

The new video “illustrates the real gulf between the Chinese elites who want what is best for their banks and the Chinese citizens who want what’s best for their country,” the official said,

The new video which debuted on YouTube, portrays a Chinese military officer who contacts the CIA after becoming disillusioned with his country’s leadership and thinking of his young daughter’s future.

“This is the world I know, defending the homeland and protecting the people. But day after day, the truth becomes increasingly obvious. What leaders are really protecting is their own self interest,” the narrator states.

AOC Falls Apart on the World Stage When Asked a Simple Foreign Policy Question at Munich Security Conference

This was painful to watch.

Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez completely fell apart on the world stage when asked a simple question about foreign policy at the Munich Security Conference on Friday.

Many speculated that AOC’s decision to speak on foreign policy at the Munich Security Conference was her way to signal a possible 2028 run.

AOC spoke on two different panels on Friday: “Vox Populi? Responding to the Rise of Populism” and “Breaking (With) the Past: Seismic Shifts in US Foreign Policy.”

The moderator asked AOC if the US should commit troops to defend against China and she turned into a stuttering mess.

Of course, AOC would hang Taiwan out to dry, but she could not string together a sentence.

“Would and should the US actually commit US troops to defend Taiwan if China were to move?” the moderator asked AOC.

“Um, you know, I think that, uh, this is such a, uh, you know, I — I think that this is a, umm, this is of course a, uh, a very longstanding, um, policy of the United States – uh and I think what we are hoping for is we want to make sure that we never get to that point,” AOC said.

“And we want to make sure that we are moving all of our economic research and global positions to avoid any such confrontation and for that question to even arise,” she said.

Israel Launches New Raids into Southern Syria, Troops Fire on Civilians

Israel has launched new incursions into southwestern Syria since Wednesday night, first firing artillery toward a village in the northern part of Quneitra Governorate and then, Thursday morning, sending troops in outright.

New checkpoints were established by the IDF, with the first reportedly in Sayda al-Hanout, where they restricted the movement of villagers, and then another in Jabata al-Khashab, further north in Quneitra. Both checkpoints are likely temporary, as Israel tends to establish them, hassle locals for a few hours, then withdraw.

The northern checkpoint appears to have been a more serious problem for locals, as the Israeli troops fired on civilians and news reporters in the nearby village of Ofaniyah. There were no reports of casualties, but it is fairly unusual for a checkpoint to involve shooting at people in the next village over.

In addition to the ground operations in Quneitra, there were reports of increased activity by Israeli warplanes over the neighboring Daraa Governorate. Though drones overhead in Israel-adjacent parts of Syria are not uncommon, the warplanes are an unusual escalation, despite no attacks having yet been reported.

Israel invaded Syria in December of 2024, immediately following the ouster of the Assad government. The territory that Israel has claimed is largely within the demilitarized zone, in Quneitra, though their ground operations continue and often go substantially deeper into Syrian territory, targeting both Daraa and Quneitra as well as the Rif al-Damashq Governorate further north.

Syria and Israel have been in negotiations meant to reduce tensions in the region, though Israel has ruled out withdrawing from the demilitarized zone and are instead demanding Syria created a whole new one adjacent to the old, now-occupied one.

Australia seeking criminal charges over aid workers slain by IDF in Gaza

Canberra is demanding criminal charges over an Israeli drone attack on Gaza that left aid workers dead, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has said.

Seven World Central Kitchen (WCK) aid workers were killed in a 2024 Israeli airstrike, which the NGO has described as “targeted.” The victims included Australian Zomi Frankcom, three British nationals, a Polish national, a dual US-Canadian citizen, and a Palestinian.

The issue was raised this week as Israeli President Isaac Herzog is visiting Australia to express solidarity with the country’s Jewish community in the wake of a deadly mass shooting which took place in December.

Albanese told Australia’s parliament on Wednesday that he had confronted Israel regarding the slain aid workers, calling it “a tragedy and an outrage” and saying Canberra had made clear its “expectation that there be transparency about Israel’s ongoing investigation” into the incident.

“We continue to press for full accountability, including any appropriate criminal charges,” he said, noting that Herzog had agreed to “engage.”

The aid workers were traveling through a de-conflicted zone in central Gaza in two armored cars with the WCK logo on them as well as a soft-skin vehicle when struck, despite the WCK coordinating its movements with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), according to the NGO.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has acknowledged that the IDF was behind the airstrike but is insisting that it was an accident.

State Department Hones In On Left-Wing NGOs As Vectors Of Chinese Influence Operations

It appears the Trump administration is finally getting serious about dark money-funded NGOs that are sowing chaos on America’s city streets, with apparent links to foreign influence operations. More alarmingly, these same nonprofits appear to sit at the center of the protest industrial complex and are actively amplified and promoted by prominent members of the Democratic Party. This highly organized and well-funded protest machine has waged an endless decade-long color revolution-style operation of chaos against President Trump.

The New York Post reports the State Department has sent a report to Congress connecting the left-wing nonprofits Code Pink and the People’s Forum to Chinese propaganda influence operations, mostly because of their direct association with China-based Marxist Neville Roy Singham, who operates the so-called “Singham network” of nonprofits.

The Post wrote:

“Partisan hacks spent years peddling the phony Russia collusion hoax while turning a blind eye to the sprawling web of far-left activist organizations who push the agendas of the Chinese Communist Party,” Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah Rogers said in a statement provided to The Post.

“Organizations like Code Pink and the People’s Forum denigrate the United States, whitewash the violence of Marxist regimes, and run cover for China while enjoying an influx of cash from a donor network with connections to the Chinese Communist Party,” Rogers added.

“The State Department will pursue complete transparency for the donor and NGO networks that lobby for our adversaries and seek to weaken the resolve of the United States.”

And continued:

The report on “Countering Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference” alleges that China “spreads propaganda through influence campaigns run by nonprofit organizations like Code Pink, the People’s Forum and groups linked with the notorious Singham network.”

The so-called “Singham network” are nonprofits funded by tech mogul Neville Roy Singham, whose wife is a co-founder of Code Pink.

Singham, an American expat living in China, “works closely with the Chinese government media machine and is financing its propaganda worldwide,” the New York Times reported in 2023.

“Chinese diplomats, state media, and pro-China influencers use social media, content-sharing agreements, and local partnerships to publish pro-CCP propaganda,” the report continues. “China invests in [public diplomacy], exchanges, reporting tours, and educational and cultural initiatives to boost its image.”

“The Department assesses that China, Iran, and Russia aggressively use state media, proxies, and digital platforms to spread propaganda and falsehoods, undermine U.S. credibility and policies, and expand their influence.”

Trump Vows to Block US-Canada Bridge Until Canada Treats the US with ‘Fairness and Respect’

Warning that cozying up to China will spell disaster for Canada, President Donald Trump says he will block the opening of a bridge connecting Ontario and Michigan until Canada undergoes a long-overdue attitude adjustment.

The Gordie Howe International Bridge has been scheduled to open early this year, according to Politico.

It connects Detroit with Windsor, Ontario, and could allow vehicle, bicycle and foot traffic between the U.S. and Canada.

“As everyone knows, the Country of Canada has treated the United States very unfairly for decades. Now, things are turning around for the U.S.A., and FAST!” Trump wrote in a post Monday on the Truth Social social media platform.

“Canada is building a massive bridge between Ontario and Michigan. They own both the Canada and the United States side and, of course, built it with virtually no U.S. content,” Trump wrote.

Trump wrote that the deal to build the bridge is reflective of the woeful leadership of former President Barack Obama.

“President Barack Hussein Obama stupidly gave them a waiver so they could get around the BUY AMERICAN Act, and not use any American products, including our Steel. Now, the Canadian Government expects me, as President of the United States, to PERMIT them to just ‘take advantage of America!’” Trump wrote.

“What does the United States of America get — Absolutely NOTHING! Ontario won’t even put U.S. spirits, beverages, and other alcoholic products, on their shelves, they are absolutely prohibited from doing so,” Trump wrote.

Trump warned that Canada’s flirtation with China will mean that China “will eat Canada alive. We’ll just get the leftovers! I don’t think so.”

Trump then wrote that once China gets its hooks into Canada, nothing will be the same.

“The first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada, and permanently eliminate The Stanley Cup,” he wrote.

Turning to economic issues, Trump wrote that, “Tariffs Canada charges us for our Dairy products have, for many years, been unacceptable, putting our Farmers at great financial risk.”

Based on that history, Trump wrote, “I will not allow this bridge to open until the United States is fully compensated for everything we have given them, and also, importantly, Canada treats the United States with the Fairness and Respect that we deserve. We will start negotiations, IMMEDIATELY.”

Leading Papers Call for Destroying Iran to Save It

The United States has no right to wage war on Iran, or to have a say who governs the country. The opinion pages of the New York Times and Washington Post, however, are offering facile humanitarian arguments for the US to escalate its attacks on Iran. These are based on the nonsensical assumption that the US wants to help brighten Iranians’ futures.

In two editorials addressing the possibility of the US undertaking a bombing and shooting war on Iran, the Washington Post expressed no opposition to such policies and endorsed economic warfare as well.

Crediting Trump with “the wisdom of distinguishing between an authoritarian regime and the people who suffer under its rule,” the first Post editorial (1/2/26) approvingly quoted Trump’s Truth Social promise (1/2/26) to Iranian protesters that the US “will come to their rescue…. We are locked and loaded and ready to go.”

For the Post, the problem was not that Trump was threatening to bomb a sovereign state, but that “airstrikes are, at best, a temporary solution”:

If the administration wants this time to be different, it will need to oversee a patient, sustained campaign of maximum pressure against the government…. The optimal strategy is to economically squeeze the regime as hard as possible at this moment of maximum vulnerability. More stringent enforcement of existing oil sanctions would go a long way…. Western financial controls are actually working quite well.

Thus, the paper offers advice on how to integrate bombing Iran into a broader effort to overthrow the country’s government in a hybrid war. Central to that project are the sanctions with which the Post is so thoroughly impressed. Such measures have “squeeze[d] the regime” by, for example, decimating “the government’s primary source of revenue, oil exports, limiting the state’s ability to provide for millions of impoverished Iranians through social safety nets” (CNN10/19/25).

That the US continues to apply the sanctions, knowing that they have these effects, demonstrates that it has no interest in, as the Post put it, “free[ing]” Iranians “from bondage.”
