Roman Polanski won’t face LA trial for ‘raping underage girl in 1973

Director Roman Polanski will no longer face trial in the US over the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl more than 40 years ago.

The case against Polanski, 91, was due to proceed in civil court in Los Angeles next August, but has now been settled.

The French-Polish director fled the United States decades ago after admitting to the statutory rape of another 13-year-old.

The latest case was ‘settled in the summer to the parties’ mutual satisfaction and has now been formally dismissed,’ Polanski’s attorney Alexander Rufus-Isaacs said.

The suit, filed last year, claimed Polanski took a then-teenager to dinner at a restaurant in Los Angeles in 1973.

He allegedly gave her tequila, and when she began to feel dizzy, drove her to his home, where he forced himself on her.

‘She told him: “Please don’t do this”,’ the plaintiff’s lawyer, Gloria Allred, told reporters in March.

‘She alleges that he ignored her pleas. She also alleges that defendant Polanski removed plaintiff’s clothes and he proceeded to sexually assault her, causing her tremendous physical, emotional pain and suffering.’

The plaintiff, known as Jane Doe, appeared with Allred at a news conference in 2017 in which she said she had been 16 at the time of the alleged assault.

She said she had spoken about what happened to one friend the day after but had not told anyone about it ever since.

The civil suit, which sought unspecified damages, was filed in June 2023, just before the expiration of a California law that allowed for an extended window for claims against the alleged perpetrators of sexual crimes.

Court papers filed in California in July said a ‘conditional’ accord had been reached.

Kamala Harris ‘dear friends’ with Democrat who wanted child porn possession declared a non-felony: report

Presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris is allegedly close to a Democrat who has tried to make possession of child pornography a non-felony, the Daily Caller reported Thursday. That fellow Democrat is Mark Leno, a politician who served in the California State Senate until November 2016 and was known to Harris as a “dear friend.”

Leno wrote legislation that would have allowed pedophiles to possess up to 99 “items” of child porn without being charged with a felony, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said in 2006. A compact disc containing 1,000 pornographic images would have been deemed ONE item, the Caller noted, citing analysis from McCarthy.

When the legislation was proposed, McCarthy was sitting as the California Assembly Republican leader and said Bill 50 as it was first conceived would have provided pedophiles with some legal room to satiate their desire to view child porn without being arrested and charged with a felony.

Leno’s legislation was not embraced even by his fellow Democrats. The Caller noted that Democratic political analyst Pat Caddell told the Los Angeles Daily News: “What the Democrats did on AB 50 was insane, insane—100 exemptions for child porn? They had to figure out this was not good? If this seeps into voters’ minds, my God.’”

The mainstream media also balked, with the Los Angeles Daily News insisting: “Early on, AB 50 was filled with loopholes that would make your skin crawl. For instance, Leno provided an ‘exemption’ from felony charges if a suspect was caught with less than 100 pieces of child pornography. In a creepy all-time low, Assembly Democrats voted for Leno’s plan to go soft on child porn.”

Leno and Harris have remained close for over two decades as social media posts and archived news stories attest. He may have shared an election night dinner in 2003 with Harris.

Indiana Teacher and Democrat County Chair Arrested For Masturbating in Front of His Students

A teacher and Democratic Party official in Indiana has been charged and arrested with masturbating in front of his students.

According to court filings obtained by The Commercial Review, 37-year-old Joel Bowers allegedly masturbated under his desk while teaching in April of this year.

A 14-year-old girl who witnessed the incident told law enforcement Bowers “would not get out of his seat and didn’t tell us to do anything.”

“There was white stuff on his pants and he would not get up for anything. He had his hand down there and was sweating but it was cold in his room,” she explained.

“His hands was down there but when someone went up there he would wipe his hand off with paper towel.”

Students who witnessed Bowers pleasuring himself captured the incident on camera and submitted it to investigators. The footage purportedly shows him looking at his phone while engaging in the act.

Oregon Democratic Congressional Candidate Accused of Not Disclosing Child Sex Abuse Allegations: Report

A Democratic politician and candidate running for the House of Representatives in Oregon is accused of assisting in covering up child sex abuse allegations related to one of her former campaign staff members.

A complaint states that Janelle Bynum is accused of not disclosing allegations that a campaign field organizer reportedly sexually assaulted a volunteer, who was a minor while campaigning in 2022.

Bynum, who is running in Oregon’s most competitive district and is a Democratic representative, dismissed the claims when an unidentified individual informed her of their concerns. She also allegedly threatened them, according to the complaint, which was obtained by Fox News recently.

The new report disclosed that Bynum is not the only politician mentioned in the controversy. Democratic Speaker of the House Julie Fahey and Democratic Attorney General Dan Rayfield were also accused of not reporting the reported abuse to authorities.

Vigilante Swiss teens use dating apps to lure paedophiles into violent ambushes – before being caught and charged over their retribution

A group of vigilante teenagers took the law into their own hands and used dating apps to lure paedophiles into violent ambushes after police ignored their complaints about a schoolgirl pal who was being groomed.

The schoolchildren, aged between 13 and 18, from Lugano in Switzerland were themselves apprehended by police earlier this month.

They were held on charges including grievous bodily harm, assault, coercion, robbery, false imprisonment, and extortion.

The elaborate scheme was the brainchild of a 13-year-old boy who hatched a plan to use dating apps, such as Tinder, to track down adults who were trying to meet minors.

It was set up after local police allegedly ignored their complaints about the harassment of an underage girl by a man who was sending her nude pictures.

Conversations between the two were even shared with no result, so the children came up with their own solution.

After chatting to the adults on dating apps, plans would be made over Whatsapp or Instagram to meet in-person at parks or even in flats across the Swiss city.

Once there, the unsuspecting targets walked straight into the group’s carefully laid trap.

The alleged paedophiles would first be greeted by an underage girl or boy, whose role was to persuade them to undress.

Once this was accomplished, the group of teens would converge on the scene, kicking and punching the individual while simultaneously urinating on them, spitting at them, or shaving off their hair.

The actions were reportedly recorded and sometimes shared with third parties. The group had even considered broadcasting the acts live on social media.

When interviewed by police, one of the teens said: ‘It all started when a 35-year-old man started harassing an underage friend of mine by sending her nude photos and asking her for sex.

‘We tried to file a complaint, but we were not taken seriously, we even showed the officials the chats.’

Psychologist, 53, who works at Tavistock clinic remains FREE to practice despite being caught grooming a schoolboy, 15, for sex in a park

A child psychologist at the controversial Tavistock hospital trust remains free to practise despite being caught grooming a schoolboy for sex in a park.

Dr Ross Canade was entrusted to treat youngsters’ mental health as lead psychologist at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, which became infamous for its gender clinic helping children to transition to a different sex.

Canade was snared by a group of self-styled ‘paedophile hunters’ in an online sting after he sent sexually explicit messages to a youngster who told him he was aged 15.

The 53-year-old psychologist met up with his would-be victim in a Nando’s restaurant, then arranged to go to a local park to have sex.

The pair were ‘ambushed’ by members of a vigilante group posing as friends of the youngster who had been monitoring their interactions, a court heard.

Canade pleaded guilty on July 29 to attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming. On Monday, he was handed a 12-month suspended sentence by a judge at Wood Green Crown Court.

Although he was spared jail, he was sacked by the Tavistock.

Paedophiles: A Protected Class

Let’s dive straight in by quoting from some mainstream outlets.

How the Huw Edwards scandal might affect the BBC’s reputation

As it faces accusations of being caught out, corporation has decisions to take on pay and use of archive footage.

The former BBC presenter Huw Edwards’ guilty plea to charges of making indecent images of children has sent the corporation into damage limitation mode, raising questions about management’s handling of the scandal and the impact on its reputation.

“The BBC is shocked to hear the details which have emerged in court today,” said a spokesperson for the corporation. “There can be no place for such abhorrent behaviour and our thoughts are with all those affected.”

The 62-year-old, the face of the BBC’s coverage of national events including the funeral of the late queen and the coronation of King Charles and a main presenter on BBC One’s News at Ten, admitted to having 41 indecent images of children that had been sent to him at his request by another man on WhatsApp.

They included seven category A images, the most serious, showing abuse including penetrative sexual activity, two of which showed a child aged between about seven and nine.

Edwards, who is facing a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and will be sentenced on 16 September, was the BBC’s highest-paid newsreader, pocketing between £475,000 and £479,000 in the year to 31 March.

He continued to be paid, including receiving a £40,000 pay rise, despite not working for most of that time, having been suspended by the BBC since last July.

It is just unreal. Edwards continued to get paid the whole time throughout his suspension. With British taxpayer money. Should the British Broadcasting Corporation be renamed as the ‘Paedophile Broadcasting Corporation’ aka PBC?

It is sick.

Despite Parent Complaints, Suburban Missouri District Keeps R-Rated Books In School Library

When Paula Allen first wanted pornography removed from her child’s school library, she didn’t realize that would be controversial. Everyone, she reasoned, agrees graphic descriptions of sexual intercourse and images of full-frontal nudity found in schools should be immediately removed.

The school board of Missouri’s Cameron R-I district, which serves 1,600 students in a suburb of Kansas City, disagreed. After two years of complaints from parents, this August the district put 36 of 80 challenged books behind the circulation desk, where publicly sponsored pornography continues to be available to minors so long as they have parent permission. Any explicit books that parents haven’t discovered yet, and future books selected by employees who have already used taxpayer funds to buy minors pornography, could still be on the shelves after the district denied parents library access.

“At my very first meeting [with] the superintendent… I all but begged him, ‘Let’s please work together in unity as a group, as parents, we have a concern. You have to address these concerns. Let’s work together,’” Allen explained. “[They] attempted to do essentially a character assassination, to discredit us and to make them, as in the school board and the school district administration, look like victims and make us look like villains. Because we’re standing up for our kids.”

A group of local parents has been battling to protect children in school libraries for more than two years. Allen and Heath Gilbert spoke with The Federalist about their efforts to keep pornographic books out of children’s hands and their school board’s effort to resist.

New York Cop Sentenced to Ten Weekends in Jail for Raping 13-Year-Old Girl

An upstate New York cop has been sentenced to serve just ten weekends in jail after pleading guilty to raping a 13-year-old girl.

Shawn Jordan, a 40-year-old former Rochester police officer, had the shockingly light sentence handed to him on Wednesday after making a plea deal concerning the 2022 rape of a South Bristol teen, WHEC reported

He will also be on probation for ten years and registered as a sex offender.

The mother of the victim “begged” Ontario County Judge Kristina Karle to send her now-15-year-old daughter’s rapist to prison, but Karle refused.

Ontario County Assistant District Attorney Kelly Wolford acknowledged that Jordan’s sentence is weak but justified the decision by pointing out that the girl will not have to relive the trauma by testifying in a courtroom.

“I’m not entirely satisfied with the sentence … but, ultimately, as a prosecutor, I have to weigh things like the impact of actually having to testify on the victim of this crime,” Wolford said. “And she’s a child, and she was going to have to face her accuser in the courtroom. And when I was given the opportunity to consider whether or not we’d take a guilty plea — absolutely, all day, in a circumstance like this.”

“I’m thankful that it’s over for the victim and her family, who were here today in court. It’s been a long process to get to this point but, ultimately, just thankful they can move on and start to heal,” the prosecutor added, according to the local outlet.

Jordan has reportedly been bragging about receiving such a lenient punishment for his heinous crime.

Yes, Tim Walz signed a bill that removed anti-pedophile language from human rights act

On May 30, 2023, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signed into law HF 1655, also known as the “Take Pride Act.” This controversial legislation, introduced by state Representative Leigh Finke, a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and the first transgender legislator in Minnesota House history, has drawn significant attention for its removal of anti-pedophile language from the state’s Human Rights law.

The “Take Pride Act” sought to redefine “sexual orientation” in the Minnesota Human Rights Act, removing the explicit exclusion of pedophilia. The original text of the law stated that “‘Sexual orientation’ does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult.” However, the new law, signed by Walz, removes this crucial caveat, raising concerns about the potential implications for the protection of minors.

Critics argue that the removal of the anti-pedophile language could lead to the normalization of pedophilia and weaken the state’s ability to protect minors from sexual abuse and exploitation. They contend that the original language was necessary to ensure that pedophilia is not afforded any form of protection or legitimacy under the law where “sexual orientation” is a protected class.
