Pelosi: Newsom’s Right, 2026 Election ‘Is Being Rigged’

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated that she agrees with the assessment of California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) that the 2026 midterm elections are being “rigged” by Republicans.

Host Jake Tapper asked, “Democratic governors…in places such as California are vowing to fight this tit for tat, do you support that? Should California respond with their own redistricted map to give Democrats more seats?”

Pelosi answered, “Yes. But before I go into that, let me just say that what you just described was the elimination of many minority seats in Texas, and that’s unfortunate, because the gerrymandering that they’re doing is also undermining the diversity that we need to have in the Congress. As far as California is concerned, we would go to a commission. We have a commission-based redistricting, instead of the gerrymandering that they’re doing in Texas. We’ve had a commission that has drawn the lines in California, we would alter that a bit in order to pick up the seats that we need. It’s not necessary if Texas doesn’t do this, but the Texas redistricting, and what the president has talked about in other parts [of] the country is indicative of the poverty of ideas that the Republicans have and they have to resort to this kind of gimmickry in order to try to hold the House. But we will hold the House and we will participate in California if Texas decides to go forward.”

Tapper then asked, “Your Governor, Gavin Newsom, said that ‘The 2026 election is being rigged’ by the Republicans. Is that how you see it?”

Pelosi responded, “Absolutely, absolutely. But it’s who they are. But, again, so much is at stake in this election. We fully intend to take back the House. We only need about three seats. I want 30, of course. And they know that. That’s why they have to go into this rigging process. But we will — again, we have the capacity to have more seats in California. We can win them in the election or we can ensure them in the change in the commission, now, with the caveat that the commission would, in the next redistricting, go back to drawing the lines.”

Nancy Pelosi: Epstein Story Is a ‘Distraction’

Thursday on MSNBC’s “Chris Jansing Reports,” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said President Donald Trump’s involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein story was just a “distraction.”

Jansing said, “Is there’s anything the president can do now to get his supporters to move off of the Epstein issue?”

Pelosi said, “This is a distraction. We have major issues right here with things we’re voting on today in the Congress, again, in terms of the rescission that the president and the Senate have sent back over us to cut all of these resources out of helping poor people throughout the world, to be America play its leadership role in soft power to keep us safe, and to keep us healthy — viruses know no boundary. And instead we’re talking about him-, about this thing and his own base has its own views of what the president should do. I’ll leave it up to them to talk it out. But again, whether it’s Jeffrey Epstein or Alcatraz, it’s all off the subject of what they’re doing with this budget that is harmful to the kitchen table, meeting the kitchen-table needs of the American people.”

Jansing said, “I want to make sure I understand what you mean when you say distraction. Do you think that Pam Bondi going to Alcatraz is meant potentially as a distraction from Epstein, which has not gone over well at all with the president’s base?”

Pelosi said, “No, I think they’re both distractions.”

Pelosi raked in millions last year — and her portfolio out-performed every large hedge fund with stunning returns

She might be the She-Wolf of Wall Street.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-California) raked in between $7.8 and $42.5 million in 2024 — meaning her estimated net worth with venture capitalist hubby Paul Pelosi could now top out at $413 million, new financial disclosures showed.

The staggering sum is an eye-popping jump from 2023, when financial disclosures showed the couple’s net worth topping out at a possible $370 million.

Pelosi’s exact net worth is not known because lawmakers are only required to disclose ranges.

Market research firm Quiver Quantitative, which estimates a single figure based on daily stock values it tracks, placed the pair’s 2024 worth at $257 million — up $26 million from a year earlier.

‘Furious’ Pelosi Drops F-Bomb in Response to Trump Deploying National Guard to Los Angeles: Report

Speaker Emerita Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is ‘furious’ over President Donald Trump deploying National Guard troops to Los Angeles in response to out of control illegal immigration riots.

Pelosi is still sore over the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot when she was Speaker and failed to protect the Capitol with sufficient police and D.C. National Guard troops, even though President Trump had offered 10,000 troops.

Speaking to Matt Berg with lefty news site Crooked Media, the 85-year-old Catholic grandmother of nine Pelosi, let the F-bomb fly (excerpt):

Nancy Pelosi is furious about Donald Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard to the Los Angeles protests and not during the Capitol riots, the California lawmaker exclusively told What A Day.

Demonstrations roiled part of downtown Los Angeles and a working-class suburb over the weekend, sparked by a trio of ICE raids on workplaces. Now, President Donald Trump is saying that Los Angeles would’ve been “completely obliterated” had he not sent in the National Guard. (That’s a lie: Los Angeles is massive, and the protests didn’t affect most residents.)

What’s also bothering Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), however, is the fact that Trump didn’t send the National Guard to the Capitol during the January 6 riots: “It’s overwhelming because [the insurrectionists] want to put a bullet in my F-word head and they were going to hang the vice president of the United States — and this guy is not sending in the National Guard, and then lying about it to the public,” she told What A Day. “I’m very concerned about the hypocrisy.”

…Trump’s actions have “inflamed the conditions on the ground,” Pelosi added. “I don’t think there’s any mystery to the fact that the president is not acting in the constitutional way, in so many other respects, not just this.”

Stock market watchdog claims Nancy Pelosi raked in $4.7M in single day of trading

Stock market watchdog Quiver Quantitative announced Monday that Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., had made millions in the market since that day’s opening bell.

The representative allegedly raked in $4.7 million, according to Quiver’s estimates. It claimed that figure inflated her overall net worth to $261.9 million.

An X account dedicated to tracking Rep. Pelosi’s stock market activity added the sum amounted to 26 times her annual salary.

A representative of Rep. Pelosi’s office told The National News Desk Tuesday the former House speaker does not own any stocks, adding that the tracked account belongs to her husband Paul Pelosi.

“Speaker Pelosi does not own any stocks, and she has no prior knowledge or subsequent involvement in any transactions,” they wrote via email.

The findings come as lawmakers are renewing a push to ban members of Congress from trading stocks. Sens. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and John Fetterman, D-Pa., in 2024 voiced support for legislation to require lawmakers release control of their money by placing it in a blind trust.

Sen. Josh Hawley: The Pelosis Beat Every Hedge Fund with Their Stock Trading

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her husband, Paul, have made hundreds of millions of dollars off Nancy’s insider knowledge, but Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has a plan to stop it, he told Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow on Thursday’s episode of The Alex Marlow Show.

Hawley reintroduced the Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments (PELOSI) Act in April to ban members of Congress and their family members from being able to trade or hold stocks.

The bill’s namesake, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), has made “hundreds of millions” – despite a salary never higher than just over $200,000 – since her election to Congress. Hawley said that cannot be done following the law.

“You don’t do it legally,” Hawley said of Pelosi’s acquisition of wealth. “And here’s the thing, Nancy Pelosi and her husband last year, in 2024, beat every hedge fund in the nation, practically. So, either Nancy Pelosi is a mathematical and financial analyst genius… or maybe, maybe the information that she’s privy to turns out to be pretty darn valuable.”

“And everybody knows it’s the second thing. It’s just outrageous,” he added.

Hawley’s nonpartisan bill would be enforced for both Republicans and Democrats, but Pelosi is the most notorious offender.

Hawley said for her to have that success without breaking the law and using insider information, Nancy would have to be “a total financial genius, the likes of which comes along once every I don’t know, 1,000 years.”

Hawley believes elected officials staying in elected office longer than the founders intended is connected with the problem of members exploiting the office to enrich themselves. Its “no coincidence” that “the longer they’re here, the more ways they find to make money off of their jobs,” he told Marlow.

“Members of Congress are paid a salary. That’s fine, obviously, but we’re not talking about that,” he said. “We’re talking about millions and millions and millions of tens of millions of dollars – hundreds of millions, in the Pelosi case that they’ve made while she has been in office.”

Members of Congress “leveraging the office” to get rich is “the farthest thing from what the Founders intended,” Hawley said. “And really it’s a disaster for our system if it’s allowed to continue without any kind of check.”

RFK Jr. Calls Out King Abdullah: ‘They’ve Cut Us Off’

It’s a rare moment today in American politics that Donald Trump’s West Wing, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi are on the same side of an issue. And it’s rarer still that each of these parties is irritated at the same person.

Yet as Jordan’s King Abdullah II returns to Washington on Monday, top Trump aides, Kennedy, and Pelosi are venting their frustration with one of the Middle East’s longest-serving monarchs.

At issue: the commitment Abdullah made in February sitting by Trump’s side in the Oval Office to accept 2,000 children from Gaza with cancer and other grave illnesses.

Abdullah, say multiple high-ranking officials in both parties, is slow-walking his pledge, and Jordan has only accepted a fraction of sick children because of fears Israel will not let them and their families return to Gaza after treatment.

“They took 44, and then they’ve cut us off,” Kennedy told me over the weekend.

Alluding to Abdullah, an adviser and ally to American presidents for over a quarter-century, Kennedy said: “I would encourage him to put the welfare of these children first and put the politics aside.”

The health secretary pointedly recalled that the king’s “statements to President Trump were really unconditional.” Kennedy repeatedly emphasized the life-and-death urgency of the patients. “These kids are very, very fragile,” he said.

A top West Wing official involved in the discussions was even more to the point, calling Jordan’s reluctance to fully fulfill their pledge “a sad commentary” and that “the war makes things difficult for obvious reasons.”

Pelosi, who has a longstanding friendship with Abdullah, took matters into her own hands last week and had a blunt, private conversation with Jordan’s ambassador to the U.S., Dina Kawar. Kawar told Pelosi that Abdullah’s pledge was contingent on Israel allowing those children who’ve finished treatment to return to Gaza and suggested the former speaker talk to the king, I’m told by a person familiar with the conversation.

Can the PELOSI Act bring accountability to Congress?

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) has reintroduced the aptly named PELOSI Act in Congress, which aims to ban members of Congress from engaging in insider trading.

The bill’s title, the PELOSI Act, stands for “Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments” — which is essentially calling out former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for the questionable way she made millions in the stock market.

“Most members of the public think it’s already banned,” Hawley explained in a statement regarding the proposed act. “And when I say, ‘Actually, it’s 100% legal,’ they say, ‘Why?’ And there’s no good answer to that question.”

“Nancy Pelosi is the poster child for all of this,” Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” comments. “I mean, you’ve seen her estimated net worth — $250 million.”

$175,000 a year in Congress for the 289 years that she’s been alive somehow ends up with a net worth of $250 million,” she continues.

The act would not completely ban elected officials from investing, as they could still invest in mutual funds, ETFs, and U.S. treasuries.

However, Gonzales isn’t hopeful things will change.

“The problem here is that I don’t think this will ever happen, because there are too many people on both sides of the aisle who are doing this right now,” Gonzales says. “They are profiting off of their position, and it just feels like there’s no end in sight.”

“You’ve got a couple of good guys like Josh Hawley who’s like, ‘Hey, we should do this.’ You’ve got a couple of good guys like Ted Cruz who are like, ‘Hey, we should have term limits.’ And the rest of them are like, ‘Nah, let’s just do this forever and get really rich,’” she adds.

Old Video Of Pelosi Echoing Trump On China Tariffs Resurfaces

An old video of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) urging Congress to retaliate against China’s tariffs on the United States is going viral for its uncanny resemblance to President Donald Trump’s current tariff policies.

Recorded on the House floor in June 1996, the video features Pelosi calling on her colleagues to challenge the “status quo” trade policies that had contributed to America’s growing trade deficit with China. She specifically urged lawmakers to address the disparity between American tariffs on Chinese goods and the higher tariffs imposed by China on U.S. products.

“In terms of tariffs, it’s interesting to note that the average U.S. MFN [Most Favored Nation] tariff on Chinese goods coming into the United States is two percent, whereas the average MFN tariff on U.S. goods going into China is 35 percent,” Pelosi said then.

She then asked, “Is that reciprocal?” before calling the U.S.-China trade relationship a “job loser” for America.

“In terms of jobs, this is the biggest and cruelest hoax of all. Not only do we not have market access, not only do they have prohibitive tariffs, not only are our exports not let in very specifically, but China benefits with at least, at least, 10 million jobs from U.S.-China trade,” she said.

Pelosi went on to point out how the U.S. was only getting 170,000 American jobs out of the relationship at the time.

Look Out Pelosi! Elon Musk Announces Investigation into “Strangely Wealthy” Members of Congress During Wisconsin Rally

Several unjustly wealthy members of Congress, including one infamous far-left politician from San Francisco, may soon find themselves completely exposed by Elon Musk.

During a Sunday night town hall in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Musk revealed that he had noticed an inordinate number of multimillionaires in America’s legislative branch. He then vowed that he and DOGE would launch an investigation to stop this corrupt activity.
.
“A lot of strangely wealthy members of Congress…Where I’m just trying to connect the dots of how did they become rich,” Musk told the audience. “How’d they get $20 million if they’re earning $200,000 a year?”

“No can explain that,” he added. “We’re gonna try to figure it out and certainly stop it from happening.”
