CNN Uses Pearl Harbor Anniversary To Warn of Second Civil War

CNN’s John Avlon joined CNN Tonight host Michael Smerconish on Tuesday for another of of his pretentious “reality check” segments. This particular instance involved using the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor to hype the possibility of a second civil war.

Coming out of a commercial, Smerconish suggested that 2021 is not that different than 1941, “Today marks 80 years since the infamous surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, a day that would change the course of our nation’s history. Just as the strength of our democracy was tested then, we find ourselves yet again in a different but just as dangerous war on truth and democracy and science.”

He then tossed things over to Avlon, who continued with this theme, and without any self-awareness declared:

Over the past six years, America has endured sustained assaults on truth, democracy, and science. Leading to reduced trust in our institutions and each other. Those breaches don’t heal overnight. It has a downstream effect, tainting a rising generation with a sense of pessimism. And perhaps the most stark snapshot of that came from a new poll of young people age 18 to 29 conducted by the Harvard Institute of Politics. It shows that a majority believe that our democracy is at risk. And who could blame them, after seeing a president lie about election results, incite an insurrection, and then see one party follow him into la la land.

Getting further and further away from any credible Pearl Harbor analogy, Avlon reported: “…when it comes to the science of confronting climate crisis, Republicans are clearly on the back foot when it comes to young Americans. A solid 55% say that the federal government is not doing enough to combat climate change, which includes 68% of folks with a college degree and 50% without. A small slice, just 14%, think the feds are doing too much. Which lines up with the do-nothing climate change denial of Donald Trump.”

Mainstream media complains about “alternative” tech platforms, frames them as “echo-chambers”

Mainstream media outlets are continuing their crusade against alternatives to Big Tech social media networks and other services – which mainstream media just happens to be firmly aligned with.

Ignoring the fact that what spurred the emergence of these alternatives in the first place was a wave of unprecedented censorship on both legacy media and tech platforms over the past couple of years, the new “conservative” media are branded as rising “aggressively” and reviled as creating an “echo chamber.”

As if acknowledging that the left wing already has its media echo chamber – and a powerful one, consisting of the largest platforms with the biggest reach – outlets like Axios frame these developments as right wing building “its own” echo chamber, as well as an ecosystem.

Biden White House Begs Establishment Media For Positive Economic Coverage

The White House is sending out its operatives to push the establishment media into presenting the Biden administration’s frightful economic news more positively, CNN’s Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy reported Monday.

Joe Biden, the presidential candidate who benefitted from the establishment media and Twitter censoring negative news about, is now reportedly asking top lieutenants at CNN to “reshape” economic news to be more favorable.

There has been plenty of bad news on the economy in recent weeks, creating a major challenge for the Biden administration. On Tuesday, the Department of Labor said that labor unit productivity crashed at the worst rate since 1960. Last Friday, the Labor Department announced nonfarm payroll growth that was less than half of what economists expected. This Friday, the government will release the Consumer Price Index for November. It is expected to show prices rising 6.8 percent, the fastest pace of inflation since 1982. Real wages have been declining because wage increases have not kept up with inflation.

The establishment media’s news coverage of economic developments such as these has reportedly angered the White House, which “has been working behind the scenes trying to reshape coverage in its favor,” the CNN employees revealed in a newsletter.

The Left-Wing Legacy of the Mainstream Media

Over the past eight decades, there have many frauds promoted by the mainstream media.  Perhaps the most notable, and consequential, was the media persuading an overwhelming majority of citizens over the years that their brand of journalism is not only the epitome of a noble profession but one that always strives to be fair and balanced.  But the legacy of the mainstream media is that it has always been the cheerleaders and propaganda arm of the left and the Democrat Party.

The modern-day mainstream media can trace its beginning to the passage of the Communications Act of 1934, which created the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), thus, placing de facto control of the electronic media under the federal government and greatly limiting competition.  Consequently, three networks had a national monopoly on the dissemination of news broadcast over the airwaves for the next 60 years.

Additionally, the dominant members of the print media assumed even greater notoriety and dominance by cooperating with a fascist-sympathizing Roosevelt Administration and their heavy-handed treatment of the media. As radio and later television grew, metropolitan newspapers merged or ceased publication, leading to newspaper monopolies in all but a small handful of cities.  With the rise of the internet, many other less prominent publications were driven into bankruptcy or obscurity.  Thus, the mainstream media as we know it today was born.

As broadcast oligopolies and metropolitan newspaper monopolies advanced in the last century, the management of the leading newspapers, magazines, and broadcast networks found it necessary to initiate the mantra that their profession was the epitome of credibility and integrity. This began when they were unabashedly promoting Franklin Roosevelt and his big government agenda, and accelerated dramatically during World War II when they eagerly embraced a partnership with the federal government to advance the war effort.  This marked the beginning of eight decades of the cozy relationship between the media, totalitarian causes, and the Democrat party.

But during the early years of oligopolistic consolidation, the dominant players in the media willingly became de facto accomplices with not only the Roosevelt administration but the despots in Europe, whom FDR refused to criticize or condemn.  During the 1930’s numerous puff pieces on Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin were published or aired by the mainstream media, even after the Communists and Nazis revealed themselves to be who they were.

Smollett Testifies CNN’s Lemon Warned Him Police Were Suspicious Over Alleged FAKE Racist Attack

Days after CNN fired Chris Cuomo for abusing his position to help feed information to his sex pest accused brother, it appears that another host, Don Lemon, could become the centre of another journalistic ethics scandal.

Reports indicate that Lemon was pinpointed by Empire star Jussie Smollett who claimed in court that he received texts from the CNN host warning him that police believed Smollett had faked his own attack in February 2019.

Smollett was indicted by a grand jury for staging a racist violent attack on himself and blaming it on Trump supporters.

Witnesses inside the courtroom revealed the details of the testimony.

The Daily Mail reports that the details about Lemon were stricken from the record, writing “Testifying in court on Monday, Smollett, 39, claimed he had been in contact with CNN’s Don Lemon during the early stages of the CPD investigation.”

The report adds that “In a remark that was presented and then struck from the record, he said things began to seem off when he received a text message from Lemon claiming the Chicago police had reached out to him to say they didn’t believe Smollett. “

Don Lemon discussed the case Monday night on his show with CNN correspondent Omar Jimenez (he who uttered the infamous line “fiery but mostly peaceful protests”) but both failed to mention that Lemon’s own name had been brought up by Smollett during the hearing.

NYT runs earnest essay by woman who was literally shook when white couple violated her ‘Black space’ by looking at a book in her homemade library

Journalist Erin Aubry Kaplan thought it might be cool to build her own little lending library outside her house.

Little did she know what horrors would come of it:

About a year ago, I decided to build a library on my front lawn. By library, I mean one of those little free-standing library boxes that dot lawns in bedroom communities around the country — charming, birdhouse-like structures filled with books that invite neighbors and passers-by to take a book, or donate a book, or both.

Then one morning, glancing out my front window, I saw a young white couple stopped at the library. Instantly, I was flooded with emotions — astonishment, and then resentment, and then astonishment at my resentment. It all converged into a silent scream in my head of, Get off my lawn!

The moment jolted me into realizing some things I’m not especially proud of. I had set out this library for all who lived here, and even for those who didn’t, in theory. I would not want to restrict anyone from looking at it or taking books, based on race or anything else. But while I had seen white newcomers to the neighborhood here and there, the truth was, I hadn’t set it out to appeal to white residents.

What I resented was not this specific couple. It was their whiteness, and my feelings of helplessness at not knowing how to maintain the integrity of a Black space that I had created. I was seeing up close how fragile that space can be, how its meaning can be changed in my mind, even by people who have no conscious intention to change it. That library was on my lawn, but for that moment it became theirs. I built it and drove it into the ground because I love books and always have. But I suddenly felt that I could not own even this, something that was clearly and intimately mine.

Talk about a traumatic experience. Our hearts go out to Erin. Poor thing.

Parents of 9/11 Victims Put Up Billboard Next to NY Times, Accusing Them of ‘Lying About 9/11’

While the government reminds Americans every September to “never forget” what happened on September 11, 2001, what they really want you to do is remember the government’s version of events that day, and forget everything else that has come out since then.

To be clear, no one here is claiming to know exactly how 9/11 unfolded; however, the revelations which have come forth since that tragic day certainly illustrate that the government and their Praetorian guard that is the mainstream media, haven’t been entirely transparent about what happened that day and the years following.

For starters, despite the majority of the hijackers coming from Saudi Arabia, the US invaded Afghanistan and later Iraq. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were championed by outlets like the NY Times and others as these “reputable” news outlets sold murder and destruction to the American people, which led to the suffering and death of hundreds of thousands of human beings.

For nearly two decades the United States did everything it could to cover up the role of the Saudi state in the murder of 3,000 Americans. However, the evidence is so overwhelming that no amount of “official narrative changing” will stop it and families of victims have had enough.

On Monday, a billboard featuring the parents of 9/11 victims, Geoff Campbell and Bobby McIlvaine, was erected across the street from the New York Times Building, bearing the message, “Our children were murdered on 9/11. Why does the New York Times lie about how they died?”
