Texas Senate Candidate James Talarico Wants to Place a ‘Giant Welcome Mat’ on The Southern Border 

Texas Senate candidate James Talarico has said America should put a “giant welcome mat” on its southern border with Mexico.

Talarico is running for the Democrat primary in Texas against the vile Jasmine Crockett.

“My family is from the border,” he said. “My mum grew up in Laredo, Texas.”

“I feel like Texans understand this issue more so than people in other states because we live with it,” he continued. “Both the benefits and the challenges.”

“So what I’ve said is that our southern border should be like our front porch. There should be a giant welcome mat out front and a lock on the door.”

”We can welcome immigrants who want to live the American dream and we can build a pathway to citizenship for those neighbors who have been here making us richer and stronger and we can keep out people who mean to do us harm.”

Cuban immigrant’s death at ICE facility ruled a homicide, autopsy report says

A Cuban immigrant’s death at a Texas immigration detention facility has been ruled a homicide, according to an autopsy report from El Paso County.

Geraldo Lunas Campos, 55, died in ICE custody on Jan. 3 at Camp East Montana, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

In the autopsy report, Adam Gonzalez, the deputy medical examiner for El Paso County, determined that Campos died from “asphyxia due to neck and torso compression.”

Attorneys for the Campos family filed an emergency petition on Tuesday to prevent alleged witnesses to the death from being deported. The petition, which was granted by a federal judge, cites reports alleging that guards at the facility choked and asphyxiated Campos.

“The two witnesses appear to have unique knowledge and independent eyewitness testimony of the events at issue,” the petition states. The family’s attorneys told ABC News they intend to obtain formal testimony from both individuals.

In a statement, a DHS spokesperson said Campos was pronounced dead after “experiencing medical distress.”

Zohran Mamdani Announces That Children of Illegal Aliens Will be Included in City’s ‘Free’ Childcare Program

New York City’s new Democratic Socialist (communist) Mayor Zohran Mamdani recently made it clear that the children of people in the country illegally will be included in the city’s new ‘free’ childcare program.

He went on to reaffirm New York’s status as a sanctuary city and pushed lies about ICE arresting people without showing warrants.

It’s amazing that New York City is going down this road just as a daycare centered fraud scandal is on the verge of unseating the governor and attorney general in Minnesota.

Mamdani clarifies NYC won’t check immigration status for universal childcare enrollees

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani clarified Friday that the city wouldn’t check the immigration status of children enrolling in his administration’s universal pre-K and 3-K programs.

“Just to put it very clearly, these are programs for every single New Yorker,” Mamdani, who took office at the beginning of the year, said in a media roundtable discussion. “These are not programs that are going to ask the immigration status of any one of the children.

“All of those children are New Yorkers. They should all be enrolled in 3-K and pre-K, no matter where they were born or where they come from. And we are also proud to be a sanctuary city.”

He said that means ICE agents are denied access to schools, hospitals and city properties “unless those ICE agents can present a judicial warrant signed by a judge. We know that the vast majority of the time, ICE agents are not presenting that kind of documentation. If they’re presenting any kind of documentation, it tends to be an administrative warrant. And, a lot of times, there isn’t any kind of documentation provided.”

The mayor said earlier that the program is open to any New Yorkers who have children turning 3 or 4 anytime in 2026, adding the program could save New Yorkers tens of thousands of dollars a year “by providing them with free childcare.”

Vice President of the United States JD Vance rejected what he described as a misleading media report claiming Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained a five-year-old child, saying the facts show the child was never arrested and was instead with his father, an illegal alien who fled from authorities.

Vance addressed the claim while defending immigration enforcement and criticizing narratives that he said distort routine law enforcement actions to undermine ICE operations.

“The fact that we’re standing behind law enforcement, and I’m proud of the fact that we’re enforcing the country’s laws,” Vance said.

Secretary Noem: Gov. Walz and Mayor Frey Have Released 490 Murderers, Rapists, and Drug Traffickers onto their Streets Rather than Turn Them Over to ICE

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem joined Greta Van Susteren on Newsmax for an interview on Monday.

During their discussion Secretary Noem announced that Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Tim Walz RELEASED 490 murderers, rapists, and drug traffickers onto the streets.

The Democrat leaders did this INSTEAD of handing them over to ICE. Who in their right mind would support this?

Secretary Kristi Noem: “We have a National Targeting Center that identifies those who’ve committed crimes. So they’ve done something in this country or in their home country that has been criminal charges against them, or they’ve been convicted. Many times, these individuals are in jails or prisons in some of our states already that we just want those local law enforcement officers to turn over to us.

“For example, one of the things we’ve asked Governor Walz for, and Mayor Frey, is to give us the criminals you have in jail. They’ve released 490 murderers, and rapists, and drug traffickers onto their streets, rather than just give them to us—and that’s what I don’t understand.”

That is TREASON! There is no other way to put it.

Minnesota leaders subpoenaed in US criminal probe over opposition to immigration crackdown

The US Justice Department (DOJ) on Jan 20 subpoenaed the offices of Minnesota’s governor and attorney-general, and mayors of Minneapolis and St Paul, as it weighed whether their public opposition to US President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement surge in the Twin Cities amounts to a crime.

One of the jury subpoenas, shared with the media by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, orders his office’s custodian of records to produce documents since the beginning of 2025 related to “cooperation or lack of cooperation with federal immigration authorities”.

The federal grand jury subpoenas were served on six offices of state and local Democrats, according to a Justice Department official, including those of Governor Tim Walz and Attorney-General Keith Ellison.

“Whether it is a public official, whether it is a law enforcement officer, no one is above the law in this state or in this country, and people will be held accountable,” US Attorney-General Pam Bondi said in a Fox News interview after arriving in Minnesota on Jan 16.

“Our men and women in law enforcement deserve to be safe, and that is what we’re going to do in Minnesota,” Ms Bondi added, without explicitly addressing the newly issued subpoenas.

Shocking Undercover Video Shows Judges in Ohio Immigration Courts Can be Bribed to Keep Illegals in the US

Shocking undercover video obtained by Townhall shows judges in Ohio immigration courts can be bribed to keep illegal aliens in the United States.

The footage was posted to X on Tuesday morning.

The video sheds light on the underground business of smuggling illegals into the US, helping them get jobs and bribing immigration judges to rule in their favor.

A woman identified as Patricia “Pat” Golder claimed in the video that she takes some of the money given to West African migrants in exchange for her bribing judges to rule in their favor.

An undercover reporter was introduced to Golder by a woman named Cindy Reis.

“She gets them their papers. She does,” Reis told the reporter as she introduced him to Patricia Golder. “He knows about Mulberry Street.”

“I try to work with them the best I can,” Golder said.

Golder told the reporter that some of the migrants “have papers” and some don’t. She said she helps the illegals get jobs but would not name the companies because of “the threat of ICE.”

Later on in the video, Golder discloses that she visits judges at bars and restaurants.

“If I can get to the judge. You know, that’s the only person you want to talk to is the judge,” Golder says with a smile on her face.

“Wait, say that again?” the reporter said.

“If I can get to the judge it’s okay. I make conversation with them,” Golder said.

“If the judge says, “Yeah, Okay, $50,000 I send everybody to you,” she said.

“I go to the bar like everybody drink. Spot the judge. I say, ‘You work on this date?’ He’s like, ‘let me see my calendar’…give me my $50G’s,” she said.

“The judge says that?” the reporter asked in disbelief.

“He ain’t scared of nothing,” Golder said. “How they live, they pay bills just like me and you. C’mon, man.”

Now We Know: Obama And Biden Deportation Numbers Were Bogus

How many times have you heard it said that Barack Obama was “deporter in chief”? How many times did Joe Biden brag that he’d deported more illegal immigrants than Donald Trump had in his first term?

Turns out, those were wild distortions of the truth bordering – if you will pardon the pun – on outright lies.

In late 2024, for example, we saw stories about how deportations that year were the largest in a decade, beating Trump’s record in what would be his first term.

As NPR put it, this meant that “the Republican narrative that the Biden administration has not done anything to combat illegal immigration is just not true.”

The New York Times, of all places, called the lie on this (albeit unintentionally).

Over the weekend, it published a story about how many people Trump has deported. Except in doing so, it broke down the number of deportations “of people arrested inside the country” and those “arrested at the border.”

There’s a big difference. During the Obama and Biden administrations illegals were flooding across the border. They came in record numbers during the Biden years.

Turning them around and sending them home isn’t the same as removing those who managed to sneak past border agents, or worse, were caught and released. But the press never made that distinction.

What did the Times report?

That in his first year, Trump arrested and deported 230,000 illegals inside the country – a number, it says that “is already higher than the total during the entire four years of the Biden administration.”

In contrast, the number being turned around at the border has dropped from roughly 600,000 in 2024, Biden’s final year in office, to just over 250,000 in 2025, the first year of Trump’s second term.

Noem announces 10K illegal immigrant arrests in Minnesota

Homeland Security Secretary Krisit Noem announced on Monday that immigration officers have arrested more than 10,000 illegal immigrants in Minnesota. 

“PEACE AND PUBLIC SAFETY IN MINNEAPOLIS!” Noem exclaimed in a post to X. “We have arrested over 10,000 criminal illegal aliens who were killing Americans, hurting children and reigning terror in Minneapolis because Tim Walz and Jacob Frey refuse to protect their own people and instead protect criminals.” 

The figure includes about 3,000 “criminal illegal aliens” arrested by federal authorities in just the last six weeks, the secretary said. 

Since the start of this year, Minnesota has become a flashpoint in the Trump administration’s effort to remove illegal migrants living in the U.S. Earlier this month, an ICE agent fatally shot a Minneapolis motorist, Renee Good, who, federal authorities say, tried to disrupt operations and hit an agent with her vehicle.  

Additionally, the administration is also investigating alleged fraud in the state’s federal benefits programs.

“There is MASSIVE Fraud in Minneapolis, at least $19 billion and that’s just the tip of iceberg,” Noem asserted in the same post. “Our Homeland Security Investigators are on the ground in Minneapolis conducting wide scale investigations to get justice for the American people who have been robbed blind.”

DHS: Minneapolis Holding 1,370 Criminal Illegals, Refuses to Turn Them Over for Deportation

Senior Trump administration officials and Fox News hosts sharply criticized Minnesota’s Democratic leadership during a Fox News segment addressing violent protests, alleged interference with federal immigration enforcement, and an ongoing Department of Justice investigation tied to recent unrest in Minneapolis.

During the discussion, Tricia McLaughlin condemned what she described as the left’s reaction to the protests and the treatment of worshipers whose First Amendment rights were violated.

“This is outright hysteria we are seeing from the left, and this should be the easiest thing in the world for Tim Walz and Mayor Frey to condemn. This shouldn’t be a Republican or Democrat issue. These are worshipers who are practicing their First Amendment rights to worship, and yet those rights were trampled on by these protesters who trespassed and began intimidating these Christians worshiping,” McLaughlin said.

She added, “So I’m glad to see the Department of Justice is taking this incredibly seriously, and I hope we see mug shot soon.”

Dana Perino introduced video of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, noting, “Mayor Frey talked about protesters overall. He was on CNN on Sunday, watch.”

In the clip, Frey defended demonstrators and rejected claims of disorder.

“Invaded, under siege, occupied. You know, use whatever word or superlative that you want to attach. But the bottom line is, what is taking place is designed to intimidate. It is not fair, it’s not just, and it’s completely unconstitutional. They’re peacefully protesting. They’re standing up for one another,” Frey said.
