George W. Bush Institute Urges Americans to Sympathize with Afghans After D.C. National Guard Attack

Following the fatal shooting of one National Guard member and the injury of another in Washington, DC, the George W. Bush Institute is urging against broadly targeting Afghan immigration applicants in response to the actions of a single individual.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old Afghan national who previously worked with a CIA-backed partner force in Kandahar and entered the U.S. in 2021 through the Biden administration’s Operation Allies Welcome, has been arraigned and is facing charges in the Thanksgiving-week ambush-style shooting that left 20-year-old Spc. Sarah Beckstrom dead and critically injured 24-year-old Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe. 

Following the attack, U.S. immigration authorities announced an immediate and indefinite pause on immigration processing for Afghan nationals and launched a broad reexamination of immigration, asylum, and green card applications from 19 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Venezuela, Sudan, Haiti, Cuba, and Laos.

In response, the George W. Bush Institute posted on X: “The actions of a man charged with a heinous crime have derailed the lawful U.S. immigration applications of people from 18 countries so far, including Afghanistan. Afghans are facing uncertainty at home and in the U.S.

The post linked to a full policy piece authored by Bush Institute directors Natalie Gonnella-Platts and Laura Collins.  The article begins by condemning the D.C. shooting as “unconscionable,” calling it an act of terrorism, hate, and barbaric violence that “has no place in any civilized society.” 

“Going back on our word to Afghans who helped us is contrary to our values as Americans,” the authors write. They assert that many of these individuals “risked their lives over the last two decades” working in partnership with U.S. forces and, despite undergoing years of vetting before arrival, are now facing disruptions due to the government’s response — including paused visa issuance, halted asylum decisions, and canceled naturalization ceremonies. 

“Asylum seekers may continue to have court hearings, but they won’t receive a determination on their cases,” the authors explain. They urge elected leaders to investigate “what, if anything, could have been done to prevent this tragedy” rather than targeting all Afghans. “The suspect will be held accountable for his crimes,” they write, “but this man is responsible for his actions, not all foreign-born people.” They add: “The innocent shouldn’t bear the burden of someone else’s crimes.”

The article paints a grim picture of life under Taliban rule, portraying Afghans as having seen their “daughters, sisters, mothers, and nieces erased from every facet of public life” and suffering “unimaginable” deprivation due to tyranny and corruption.

The authors contend many of the displaced “have been forced to flee their homeland, many now for a second time,” and continue to resist extremism even from abroad. Despite refugee status, they claim these individuals are “leading the way in seeking justice,” preserving cultural identity, and resisting Taliban indoctrination.

‘To My Haters: F You’ DC Police Chief Cries in Fiery Resignation

Washington, D.C. Chief of Police Pam Smith resigned in disgrace on Friday after a scathing report released earlier this week.

The House Oversight Committee report revealed that Smith coerced department officials into manipulating crime data across the District. The report claimed that she urged district commanders to “reduce crime statistics by any means necessary.”

The investigation into Smith uncovered systemic abuse of criminal reporting practices within the department. The Oversight Committee stated that: 

“Testimony revealed that Chief Smith prioritized lowering publicly reported crime numbers over reducing actual crime, placing intense pressure on district commanders to produce low crime statistics by any means necessary. Commanders also testified that Chief Smith pushed for more frequent use of lesser, intermediate charges—which are not publicly reported—and required certain crimes to be reviewed by her office, actions that together amounted to manipulating crime data to present the illusion of lower crime in the District.”

Smith denied these allegations in her resignation press conference, “Make no mistake, you can say what you want to say. But I live in this city, and I felt it myself. I felt the shift. And I’m going to repeat it. I never, and never would have, encouraged, intimidated, retaliated, or told anyone to change their numbers. Never would I have done that.”

Smith launched into a self-censored tirade against her critics, stating: “So I’m going to the Bible when I say this to my haters: F you.”

‘Crucial witness’ in investigation into Sarajevo ‘human safaris’ where tourists paid to kill civilians dies suddenly despite being in good health weeks ago

A key witness at the centre of an investigation into whether wealthy tourists paid thousands to kill unarmed civilians in Sarajevo during the city’s siege in the 1990s has died unexpectedly. 

Slavko Aleksic, a Bosnian former militia leader, died in the city of Trebinje, despite having been in good health, The Times reports. 

His sudden death comes after an investigation was launched last month in Italy following allegations of ‘human safari’ sniper trips during the Balkan wars – a bloody conflict that left more than 11,000 civilians dead. 

Aleksic, 69, commandeered a Jewish cemetery above Sarajevo used by snipers, and according to Serbian lawyer Cedomir Stojkovic, ‘he would have been a crucial witness’ because ‘he could have said who did the shooting and who organised it’.

Croatian investigative journalist Domagoj Margetic added: ‘In November, Aleksic was apparently in good health — and now he has suddenly, and very conveniently, died.’

Last month, Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic was accused of being involved in Sarajevo’s ‘human safari’ sniper trips, an allegation he denies.

On November 24, Aleksic gave an interview on Serbian television and insisted the president had had no involvement in sniper activity. 

 ‘Aleksic was alive and well then, did not announce a fatal illness and, on the contrary, said he would testify in favour of Vucic,’ Margetic said.

Gilbert, Arizona Police Accused of Falsifying Crime Statistics Through Underreporting Revealing Possible Nationwide Trend After 2024 FBI Crime Stats Find Massive Plunge in Violent Crime and DC Police Caught Rigging Data

The town of Gilbert, Arizona, has come under fire and calls for an investigation after a former town councilman alleged during a town council meeting last month that police leadership had “fudged numbers” and underreported crime for more than a decade.

Gilbert is the largest town in the United States and the fourth municipality in Arizona, with nearly 300,000 residents.

In December 2023, the town boasted its ranking as “the second-safest city in America among the 100 largest in the nation,” according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Uniform Crime Reporting data. However, according to former councilman Bill Spence, based on conversations with current Council Member and former Gilbert Police Department leader Kenny Buckland, Gilbert Police Chiefs have been “manipulating the numbers” to lower reported response times and make the city appear safer.

Spence said during the “communication from citizens” portion of the November 18 town council meeting that Buckland had made “several concerning statements about Gilbert Police Department policies implemented by former police chief Tim Dorn.” Dorn “fudged numbers” and “changed how we do our calls for service” by creating a “Priority Zero” crime category, which cut reported police response times by about 40%, Spence told the Council.

The changes to crime reporting, allegedly made under Tim Dorn, had been “codified by” Chief Mike Soelberg when he succeeded Dorn in June 2017. “And the practice continued until 2023, when the reporting systems no longer allowed for this type of data manipulation,” Spence stated.

Chief Mike Soelberg and Patrick Banger, Gilbert’s outgoing Town Manager, first appointed in August 2011, Spence said, “were made aware of the trouble caused by these policies, yet they continued to report manipulated information.” He continued, “They betrayed our police officers, misled numerous councils, and jeopardized the safety of our residents.”

In closing his speech, Spence demanded “immediate investigation of the town from an outside law enforcement agency.”

“Failure to do so would make this entire council complicit in the conspiracy to cover up misconduct in what may be the biggest scandal in the history of our town.“

Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan Found GUILTY of Obstruction For Helping Illegal Alien Evade ICE Agents – Faces 5 Years in Prison

Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan on Thursday evening was found guilty of obstruction for helping an illegal alien evade ICE agents.

Dugan was acquitted of count 1 – the misdemeanor but she was found guilty on count 2 – the felony obstruction.

She is facing five years in prison.

A jury found a Wisconsin judge accused of helping a Mexican immigrant dodge federal authorities guilty of obstruction Thursday, marking a victory for President Donald Trump as he continues his sweeping immigration crackdown across the country.

Federal prosecutors charged Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan with obstruction, a felony, and concealing an individual to prevent arrest, a misdemeanor, in April. The jury acquitted her on the concealment count, but she still faces up to five years in prison on the obstruction count.

The jury returned the verdicts after deliberating for six hours.

Dugan and her attorneys left the courtroom, ducked into a side conference room and closed the door without speaking to reporters.

In April, a federal grand jury indicted Hannah Dugan for helping an illegal alien evade ICE agents.

PT Deputy Reimont, from the Workers’ Party, presents bill to criminalize dissemination of redpill, MGTOW, and incel in networks due to alleged link with femicides in Brazil

Federal Deputy Reimont, from the Workers’ Party (PT) for Rio de Janeiro and president of the Chamber’s Human Rights Commission, presented on December 15, 2025, Bill 6419/2025, informally known as the «Anti-Redpill PL».

This initiative seeks to classify as a crime the incitement, promotion, financing, organization, or dissemination of organized «misogynistic» discourses, with explicit mention of subcultures such as «redpill», «incel», and «MGTOW».

The text proposes penalties of imprisonment from 3 to 5 years and a fine for promoting or disclosing such discourses, with an increase by half if carried out via the internet or social networks.

It also provides for up to 6 years in prison for joining or supporting misogynistic groups, and aggravating factors for crimes such as threats or violence motivated by these ideologies.

Reimont justifies the measure by alleging a link between these digital communities and the increase in femicides in Brazil, citing cases such as school attacks and gender violence statistics.

This project represents a dangerous authoritarian advance by the PT toward ideological censorship.

Instead of addressing real problems such as impunity in the judicial system or tougher penalties for violent criminals, the leftist government chooses to criminalize opinions and online debates that question dominant feminist narratives.

There is no conclusive evidence establishing direct causality between «redpill» content and femicides; correlations do not imply causation, and criminalizing dissident thoughts violates basic principles of freedom of expression protected by the Brazilian Constitution.

This proposal fits into a leftist pattern of narrative control, similar to previous attempts to regulate discourses on social networks. Instead of combating real crime, it persecutes young people and men who express social frustrations, stigmatizing them as a threat.

The real problem of violence against women requires effective public security policies and good education, not vague laws that open the door to interpretive abuses by the State.

The PL is in the initial processing phase in the Chamber of Deputies, without significant advances so far.

Soros-Backed Fairfax DA Repeatedly Dropped Charges Against an Illegal Immigrant — Now Someone’s Dead

The Democrats’ soft-on-crime, pro-illegal immigration policies are deadly. There have been far too many stories about career criminals with multiple arrests being given slaps on the wrist before they’re turned loose on our communities to rob, rape, and murder innocents.

But this story out of Reston, Virginia, takes the cake. Illegal immigrant Marvin Fernando Morales-Ortez, from El Salvador, has been charged with several crimes in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Including a first-degree murder charge in 2021.

But the Soros-backed Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano entered a nolle prosequi and declined to prosecute not only that first-degree murder charge, but several more of Morales-Ortiz’s criminal offenses dating back to 2020.

House Passes Bill to Prosecute Doctors and Parents for Sex Changes for Children with Three Democrats Joining Republicans but FOUR Republicans Voting Against – Trans Rep. Tim McBride Freaks Out Ahead of Vote

The House of Representatives voted on Wednesday evening to pass the Protect Children’s Innocence Act, which will make it a crime for sex-change surgery and hormonal treatments to be provided to minors. 

The bill, authored by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), makes it criminal to “knowingly perform, or attempt to perform, genital or bodily mutilation on another person who is a minor” with penalties of up to ten years in prison. It further protects minors from chemical castration or hormonal treatments.

Parents who facilitate, consent to, or transport the minor to receive sex change surgeries could also be charged.

This codifies President Trump’s January “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation” Executive Order, which restricts sex-change procedures for minors by cutting federal funding to institutions that practice the satanic procedures.

“It is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called ‘transition’ of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures,” the order reads.

Greene gave a speech during a debate on the House Floor earlier,

“Today, the house is delivering on what the American people voted for, the opportunity to vote to end the genital mutilation of children via transgender treatments for children,” Greene said, noting that her bill is a “direct legislative reflection of President Trump’s executive order and every single Republican’s campaign promise in 2024.”

DHS: Biden Released Chinese Illegal Alien with New York CDL Killed Tennessee Trucker – Feds Blast Sanctuary Licensing Practices

A fatal crash in Tennessee has ignited a national firestorm over New York’s commercial driver licensing practices. Following an inquiry from Breitbart Texas, federal officials confirmed the bus driver responsible was an illegal alien from China who failed basic English proficiency, yet still obtained a New York CDL. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy threatened earlier this week to strip the state of $73 million in federal highway funds unless it revokes licenses issued to illegal aliens.

On December 9, 54‑year‑old Yisong Huang allegedly rear‑ended a tractor‑trailer on I‑40 westbound, triggering a chain reaction that killed Kerry Smith, an American truck driver, and injured two others, Breitbart Texas reported. Investigators say Huang was distracted by a video on his phone at the time of the crash. Fortunately, his bus carried no passengers.

“A Chinese national driving a motorcoach slammed into a vehicle in Tennessee, killing an individual and causing a major traffic jam this week,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wrote in a post on social media shortly after the crash. “And to make matters worse: this driver had a non-domiciled CDL from NY and couldn’t speak English!”

Despite admitting to Border Patrol agents in 2023 that he had entered the country unlawfully from Mexico, Huang was released into the U.S. by the Biden Administration and provided with work authorization papers and a Social Security card. Those documents enabled him to obtain a Class B CDL in New York, setting the stage for last week’s fatal pile‑up.

FBI Agents Thought Clinton’s Uranium One Deal Might Be Criminal – But McCabe, Yates Stonewalled Investigation: Report

Remember Uranium One? The massive 2010 sale of US uranium deposits to Russia approved by Hillary Clinton and rubber-stamped by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) – after figures linked to the deal donated to the Clinton Foundation?

Turns out rank-and-file FBI investigators thought there was enough smoke to launch a criminal investigation, but internal delays and disagreements within the DOJ and FBI ultimately caused the inquiry to lapse, newly released records reveal. 

The materials, made public by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and first reported by Just the News, reveal that investigators argued internally over the delays – which allowed the statute-of-limitations to expire and ultimately halt the case.

The Uranium One transaction – involving the sale of a Canadian mining company with substantial U.S. uranium assets to Russia’s state-owned nuclear firm Rosatom – became a flashpoint during Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. Critics argued that then-Secretary of State Clinton, a member of CFIUS, helped approve the deal while donors connected to Uranium One made large contributions to the Clinton Foundation.

The New York Times reported in 2015 that “as the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013 … a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.”

“And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. [Bill] Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock,” the Times reported. “At the time, both Rosatom and the United States government made promises intended to ease concerns about ceding control of the company’s assets to the Russians. Those promises have been repeatedly broken, records show.” -Just the News

Resistance from senior officials – including then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe – slowed the inquiry to the point where statute-of-limitations concerns were later cited to justify shutting it down.
