Wikipedia is the most widely used source of information in the world, and a great deal has been written about its impact on public perception of certain topics. Wikipedia shapes both scientific research and real-world economic outcomes, and is the top source of medical information for both doctors and patients. The widespread reliance on Wikipedia would not be a problem if it were a neutral and authoritative source, but earlier this year Wikipedia’s co-founder Larry Sanger declared that “Wikipedia’s ‘NPOV’ (neutral point of view) is dead.” Is Sanger’s statement correct?

The Mainstream Press Is Desperate To Help Joe Biden, Even If It Means A Media Blackout

It’s hard to imagine a media establishment more corrupt and insular than the American political press, which refuses to cover one of the biggest political stories of the 2020 presidential election unfolding just weeks before Election Day. Despite the best efforts of the corporate media and Big Tech, the story of Hunter Biden’s emails keeps getting out there, and with each passing day it gets worse for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Of course, the story is not just about the younger Biden’s emails anymore. It’s about the extent of Joe Biden’s role in what can only be described as a massive foreign corruption scheme worth tens of millions of dollars.

Kids as young as 11 years old would be able to consent to vaccinations under a new bill proposed in Washington, DC

A bill passed in Washington, DC, could allow children as young as 11 years old to get recommended vaccinations without permission from their parents or legal guardians.

The “Minor Consent for Vaccinations Amendment Act” bill passed in the DC Council by a 12-to-1 vote. It says if a doctor determines that a minor is “capable of meeting the informed consent standard,” then they could get government-recommended inoculations, like the HPV vaccine, even if their parents object to it for religious reasons. 

“A child needs to be protected against the dangers of things like measles, other diseases that cause death, and the community needs to be protected so that diseases that were once thought to be eliminated are not coming back,” Council member Mary Cheh said in an online press conference Tuesday, according to the DC Post. Cheh introduced the bill in March 2019.

The bill requires the Department of Health to produce information about vaccines that are age-appropriate. And, if it becomes law, the bill stipulates that doctors would be required to bill insurers directly, and send the vaccination records to the kid’s school “if the parent is utilizing a religious exemption.” 

The Washington Post reported that Trayon White Sr., who is the only council member to vote against the bill, said he believes age 11 is too young to make an independent medical decision about one’s health. 

“Parents have a fundamental right to direct the upbringing, education and care of their children,” White said, later falsely claiming vaccines are dangerous for children.

The Post reported that White, who has a 12-year-old child, cited the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program to argue the point, but that agency has been widely used by conspiracy theorists.

Wikipedia Editors Label Biden Corruption Allegations ‘Conspiracy Theory’ After Censorship Attempts

Despite efforts on Wikipedia to censor any mention of the New York Post’s bombshell revelations about Joe and Hunter Biden’s alleged involvement in potentially corrupt foreign business dealings, claiming the Post is an “unreliable” source, editors have since reluctantly allowed mentioning the story provided the Post is not cited. However, coverage has been largely confined to an article labeling the allegations a “conspiracy theory,” and editors have sought to portray the story as discredited or even as “Russian disinformation” in the article and in a “FAQ” on its discussion page.

Editors have rejected mentioning Fox News reports confirming some of the Post’s reporting due to the outlet being discouraged as a source for politically contentious content since a Wikipedia discussion in July. The claims have so far been kept out of the page for Hunter Biden entirely, where corruption allegations are characterized as “debunked” conspiracy theories.

After the Post published e-mails obtained from a laptop purportedly owned by Biden suggesting he introduced an adviser for the allegedly corrupt Burisma energy firm to his father, Vice President Biden, social media sites Facebook and Twitter began censoring or suppressing posts about the story with Twitter locking accounts and blocking links to the Post’s article. On Wikipedia, editors added the allegations to the article on “Conspiracy theories related to the Trump–Ukraine scandal” citing the Post, Fox News, and the Daily Mail, yet their edits were repeatedly removed mainly citing a discussion last month declaring the Post an “unreliable” source. Citing Daily Mail has similarly been prohibited on Wikipedia and the same is true for numerous other conservative media outlets, including Breitbart News.

Video Surfaces Of Final Debate Moderator ‘Tipping Off’ Hillary Clinton Campaign On Interview Questions In 2016

NBC News reporter Kristen Welker, the debate moderator for the final presidential debate, has strong ties to Democrat activism and has even been caught on camera “tipping off” a member of Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential campaign about “at least one question” that she was going to ask during an interview, according to a new report.

“Welker comes from an established Democratic family — who have poured cash into party coffers, and to Trump opponents, for years,” The New York Post reported. “Her mother, Julie Welker, a prominent real estate broker in Philadelphia, and father, Harvey Welker, a consulting engineer, have donated tens of thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates and close to $20,000 to Barack Obama alone. There was also $3,300 for Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign and $2,100 for Hillary Clinton’s doomed 2016 presidential effort against Trump. Another $7,300 was contributed to the Democratic National Committee between 2004 and 2020.”

The report comes after Chris Wallace, a registered Democrat who moderated the first debate, and Savannah Guthrie, who hosted a town hall last week with President Donald Trump, have both been widely criticized for bias during the two events.

The New York Post’s Jon Levine also highlighted photographs that were on Welker’s Facebook page that showed that she and her family celebrated Christmas at the White House with the Obamas in 2012.
