Democrats made themselves toxic — now they’re addicted to their own poison

A few Democratic officeholders, activists and pundits are finally coming to their senses that their brand is toxic to a majority of the American people.

The Biden administration killed what was left of it in a number of ways.

First, it serially lied to Americans about the cognitive decline and cancerous condition of President Joe Biden, both while in and after office.

Only when caught did the complicit media ‘fess up that the Biden inner circle serially misled the American people about Biden’s inability to fulfill the duties of the presidency.

Second, left-wing politicos used Biden as a waxen effigy.

His job was to pose as a “moderate” cover to push through the most radical and unpopular agenda in the last half-century.

Only that way could “Old Joe Biden from Scranton” and his backroom handlers ram down the throat of the American people unpopular policies that nearly wrecked the country.

Third, without either a functional president or viable initiatives, the new hard-left Democrats sought to brand Donald Trump as “Hitler” and half the country who supported him as “fascists.”

For nearly nine years, the Democrats launched one failed hoax after another on the American people: “Russian collusion,” “laptop disinformation,” and the lying so-called “51 intelligence authorities.”

They proved quite willing to undermine the rule of law by manipulating the court system in efforts to destroy their bogeyman, Trump.

The people are finally tired of all the potty-mouthed Democrat videos, the congressional stunts and meltdowns, the pampered rich kids rioting on elite campuses, the knee-jerk obsessions with racial slurs, the firebombing of Tesla dealerships, the romanticization of left-wing political murderers — and always the adolescent tantrums over Trump.

The Democrats had mostly given up on democracy some 13 years ago. That was the last time they transparently and democratically nominated Barack Obama a second time as their presidential candidate.

Ever since, their nominations have been rigged.

‘They shielded a killer’: Liberal activists prevent ICE Boston from apprehending murder suspect

If you need any more proof that leftists care more about serving their ideology than protecting their fellow man, look no further than Massachusetts.

The left has recently taken up the curious tactic of defending illegal aliens, including those suspected and convicted of heinous crimes, from immigration authorities. A recent event in the sanctuary city of Somerville is shedding light on this activity after activists “shielded a killer.”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement was reportedly surveilling a suspected murderer when their operation was interrupted by activists who made a scene and forced the agents to retreat.

Bill Melugin weighed in with a comment from ICE Boston, who claim that the suspect was nearby a school.

“ICE Boston told us this happened in the sanctuary city of Somerville on Thursday. The murderer was close to a school. An activist later posted a video, boasting that they got ICE to leave the area, and that they were ‘trying to kidnap kids from school’. They shielded a killer,” Melugin wrote.

FBI opens investigation into targeted violence against Christians in Seattle

Dan Bongino of the FBI announced on Tuesday that the agency has opened an investigation into “allegations of targetd violence against religious groups at the Seattle concert.” This follows an incident on Sunday in which Mayday USA, a Christian group, held a permitted concert in Cal Anderson Park which drew Antifa counter-protesters who then attacked the Christians.

Following the attack, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell condemned the Christian group who was attacked, claiming that they were “far-right” and had no business holding an event in the park due to its proximity to the locus of the LGBTQ+ community. 23 arrests were made among the militants who showed up to harass the Christian event.

“We have asked our team to fully investigate allegations of targeted violence against religious groups at the Seattle concert. Freedom of religion isn’t a suggestion,” Bongino said.

“Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood,” Harrell said following the event on Saturday.

“When the humanity of trans people and those who have been historically marginalized is questioned, we triumph by demonstrating our values through our words and peaceful protest – we lose our voice when this is disrupted by violence, chaos, and confusion,” Harrell went on. 

This led to calls for Harrell’s resignation and those calls turned into a protest on Tuesday where the Christian group protested Harrell and more Antifa and trans activists showed up to protest the Christians.

It was later revealed that, despite Harrell’s protestations against the Christian group and his complaints over the location of their event, city officials had previously suggested that the event happen in the park. Event organizers had suggested Pike Street, the location of the iconic Pike Place Market, but an official said that “other Seattle Parks locations” should be considered, including Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill where the event did go forward.

WAR ON WOMEN: National Uproar Sparked as Boys Dominate Girls in Two Different States to Steal Track and Field Titles

Boys from two different states sparked a national uproar after destroying their female competition to win track titles.

As Fox News reported, a biological boy named AB Hernandez stole first place in girls’ high jump and triple jump at the state championship on Saturday at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium in Clovis, California. This result was unsurprising after he stormed ahead of his competitors in both categories during the prelims.

Hernandez also finished second in the long jump to Woodrow Wilson High School’s Loren Webster. Webster was the only girl to beat Hernandez in any competition this weekend.

As The New York Post notes, The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) changed its rules on Tuesday after President Trump threatened to withhold funding from the Golden State. The organization ordered that any biological females who lost to a male would not lose their place. This meant no female winner would be ‘displaced’ by Hernandez’ ‘wins.’

This meant Hernandez shared a podium with the rightful winners and placed finishers.

The new rule also allowed an extra girl to compete in each category in which Hernandez was set to perform. Thankfully, this pathetic trick did not win over any women’s rights critics who know the only justice is to have males compete in their own sports, not try to steal female glory.

Of course, CIF officials behaved like total tyrants to those peacefully protesting Hernandez’s participation. Look at what happened to California Outreach Director Sophia Loren when she dared to stand up for the girls at the event.

Biden White House insisted families were safe after toxic East Palestine derailment — but behind the scenes, admin warned of ‘cancer cluster’

The Biden administration admitted possible cancer-causing toxins were spread in East Palestine, Ohio, following the Norfolk Southern train derailment in 2023, explosive new emails show, despite the White House insisting residents were safe.

“The occurrence of a cancer-cluster in EP [East Palestine] is not zero,” FEMA recovery leader James McPherson wrote in a March 29, 2024, email to other public health officials — a little more than a year after the crash.

“As you all are aware, the first 48 hours of the fire created a really toxic plume,” he said in the chain of communications, which were first reported by News Nation.

Just two months earlier, President Biden had excoriated “multimillion-dollar railroad companies transporting toxic chemicals” for the fiasco — but praised his administration’s “herculean efforts” to resolve the “vast majority” of East Palestine’s problems.

The crash spewed harmful chemicals into the air and resulted in 115,000 gallons’ worth of carcinogenic vinyl chloride undergoing an open burn — displacing residents and leading to reports of strange illnesses as well as the death of livestock in the weeks following the Feb. 3, 2023, disaster.

New York hospital staffers resign amid allegations state defrauded Medicaid in financial scheme

Several hospital staffers at the Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) have submitted their resignations effective in June amid investigations to examine if the State of New York has been defrauding Medicaid with what one lawmaker called “a large financial scheme” involving matching payments for hospitals totaling more than $1 billion.

The allegations that New York might be cheating Medicaid first surfaced a few months ago in civil litigation and in a New York Post column. State legislators increased pressure for an investigation and resolution, and staged a rally at the State Capitol.

Claims going back 20 years

A hospital staffer who had first-hand information but chose to remain anonymous told Just The News that the hospital completed an extensive review and assessment of all books and records last summer, and brought questions to an outside law firm.

The staffer said they received a legal opinion and, after reviewing documents filed by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) to CMS in June 2024, they learned that NYS [New York state] halved the hospital’s DSH [Disproportionate Share Hospital] funding year after year for two decades. Allegedly, more than one billion dollars were steered away from NUMC.

They said they spent over a decade working with New York state for over a decade and neither the NYSDOH nor the governor’s office have accepted initiatives to meet with them over the past three years.

In December 2024, it was reported by The New York Post that NUMC was suing New York for $1.06 billion, alleging the state has defrauded the hospital of financial resources over the past 20 years.

The staffer told Just the News that 80% of patients at the NUMC are ensured by Medicaid and Medicare. NUMC is the only public hospital in the county, and a large percentage of its 275,000 patients are low income, uninsured, as well as on Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital includes a nursing home and jail infirmary, Long Island’s only burn unit and its largest inpatient psychiatric treatment center.

A spokesperson for Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office has denied these allegations, stating that they are “false claims.”

Dem Congresswoman Is Under Investigation Over Missing Funds

U.S. Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) is under investigation for allegedly violating several House rules, including allegations that she misused congressional funds for a for-profit entity.

Investigators with the Office of Congressional Ethics found “substantial reason to believe” the congresswoman she sought money for a community project and directed it to a private business. The findings were revealed after an investigation that has been ongoing for the better part of a year.

Investigators also found “probable cause” to further investigate allegations that she accepted campaign contributions linked to official actions. Cherfilus-McCormick has denied the allegations and said she has fully cooperated with the investigation in a statement to WPTV.

The Office of Congressional Conduct (OCC) is now calling for a full scale probe concerning the $5 million she obtained from Congress’ 2023 budget, which was supposed to be routed to the Figgers Foundation, a Florida telemedicine non-profit. Instead, the funds were routed to a for-profit entity.

The Democrat lawmaker is also facing additional allegations of misusing funds dating back to 2023.

Mexico’s first judicial elections include ex-convicts and cartel lawyers

Mexico is preparing to hold its first-ever judicial elections, and concerns are growing over the criminal histories and affiliations of candidates on the ballot.

Among those seeking positions are individuals previously investigated for crimes ranging from organized crime to sexual abuse, and even an ex-convict who served time in a US prison for drug smuggling, says the New York Times.

The judicial elections, scheduled for Sunday, will decide 2,681 positions, including some on Mexico’s Supreme Court.

The reform was introduced last year by former President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador and is supported by current President Claudia Sheinbaum. They argue that the shift from appointments to public elections will reduce corruption and make the system more accountable to voters.

However, critics, including legal experts, have warned that opening up the judiciary to electoral politics could compromise judicial independence and allow unqualified or compromised individuals to gain power. Some also worry the process may increase the influence of organized crime in Mexico’s already-broken justice system.

At least four candidates have previously faced criminal investigations, according to letters obtained by The Times. These letters, sent in early May by the leaders of both congressional chambers—controlled by the ruling Morena party—asked electoral officials to disqualify 18 candidates accused of failing to meet the constitutional requirement of a “good reputation.”

Among those on the ballot is Fernando Escamilla, a 32-year-old candidate for a state criminal judgeship in Nuevo Leon. He previously provided legal services to Miguel Angel Treviño and Eleazar Medina-Rojas, two senior figures in the Zetas cartel.

Escamilla has defended his work, stating he merely advised on extradition law and believes it would be “unfair” to disqualify him from practicing law.

“It’s like a doctor,” Escamilla said. “When patients arrive at the emergency room, the doctor doesn’t ask what they do for a living before deciding whether to treat them, they just do.”

Other candidates have more serious criminal pasts. Leopoldo Javier Chávez Vargas was arrested in 2015 in Texas for attempting to smuggle meth into the US. He served nearly six years in prison and is now seeking a federal judgeship in Durango.

“I don’t deny my past,” he said. “I have fully accepted the consequences.”

Another candidate, Jesus Humberto Padilla Briones, was arrested in 2023 with meth and an illegal firearm.
