Bono set out to feed starving kids. He armed bloodthirsty warlords instead…

Many of you will remember that massive Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium back in the ’80s, when everyone was laser-focused on feeding starving kids in Africa.

Bob Geldof became the face of the UK-based “Band Aid” charity, which brought together a lineup of famous musicians to record the iconic “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” Bono was front and center, not just in the song but in the mission itself. It was supposed to launch his big “philanthropy” era.

But instead of feeding hungry Ethiopian children or bringing them holiday cheer, Bono and his Band Aid crew ended up arming bloodthirsty warlords.

Turns out the only people who got Christmas presents in Ethiopia that year were the bad guys, thanks to Bono and friends.

Daily Mail:

The images of starving children flickered across the screen  –  youngsters hardly conscious, possessing not even the energy to bat away the flies descending on their emaciated bodies.

BBC broadcaster Michael Buerk described the scene in Ethiopia 1984 as ‘the closest thing you get to hell on earth’. The famine pictures awoke the conscience of the world. A year later, Britain was host to the biggest fund-raising event of all time, Live Aid.

Who can forget it? At Wembley, and in Philadelphia, pop stars including Queen, David Bowie and George Michael were part of a dazzling line-up determined to feed the world.

And Bob Geldof demanded: ‘Don’t go to the pub tonight  –  please, stay in and give us the money. There are people dying NOW, so give me the money.’

Money poured in. The 16-hour rock concert on July 13, 1985 raised around £65million and was watched by a global audience estimated at 1.5 billion.

It was a moment of hope. But that was then.

Now the BBC has reported that substantial amounts of money  –  some of it raised by Band Aid  –  were siphoned away from relief efforts and went to fund guns for Ethiopian warlords during the Eighties.

Bob Geldof has responded with a vitriolic attack, dismissing the story as ‘total b******s’ and accusing the BBC of a ‘total collapse of standards’. He has branded the BBC World Service a ‘rotten old cherry’.

Geldof can scream and stomp his feet all he wants, but the people who were actually on the ground in Ethiopia are talking, and what they’re saying is very damning. A huge chunk of that Band-Aid money ended up funding the very warlords who were terrorizing the innocent. The Daily Mail piece goes on:

Today, for the first time, the Band Aid man on the ground in Ethiopia speaks out exclusively to The Daily Mail, saying he believes it is possible that up to 20 per cent of donor’s money went to fund the rebels.

Furthermore, he told me that he personally sympathised with the rebel cause he calls ‘a liberating force’, and travelled in convoys he suspected were transporting arms to them.

John James was Band Aid Field Director in Ethiopia from 1985-91 and was awarded an MBE for his charity work. He says: ‘I would be surprised if it were any less than 10-20 per cent of funds were diverted to the rebels.

‘Did I sympathise with the rebels? Yes. We would not have tolerated any direct assistance in the purchase of arms or condoned it, but just remember it was a highly complex situation.’

James, a farmer who is now 85 and living in Devon, adds: ‘I think it is ridiculous for anybody to claim that not one penny of aid money was diverted.

“Are You A Covert White Supremacist?” Fireworks Erupt In DOGE Hearing Exposing NGO Funding, Taxpayer “Theft”

In a fiery House Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE) hearing on June 4, 2025, titled “Public Funds, Private Agendas: NGOs Gone Wild,” Republican lawmakers exposed the “gold bars thrown off the Titanic,” alleging the Biden administration under Democratic control of Congress had siphoned billions in taxpayer dollars to push left-wing policies like open borders and the Green New Deal through Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).

Held at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, the hearing, chaired by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), aimed to expose what Republicans call a corrupt nexus of NGOs, Democratic campaign funds, and bureaucratic cronyism.

In a fiery exchange, Democrats pushed back with allegations that Republicans are “trying to keep a strong black woman down,” while simultaneously chastising the GOP for not codifying enough DOGE cuts, at the same as alleging Republicans are cutting vital services as part of a partisan witch hunt. Here’s the breakdown of the clash that’s got X buzzing and taxpayers fuming.

Republicans Drop the Hammer on NGO Funding

Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) didn’t mince words, calling the allocation of “hundreds of billions” to NGOs under the Biden administration a “CRIME” against Americans. “There’s a difference between true charity and the government forcibly removing money from your pocket and giving it to someone else,” Burlison declared, framing the forcible removal of tax dollars to fund the ideological priorities of NGOs as outright theft.

Kushner’s Affinity’s assets jump to $4.8 billion after Gulf cash injection

Jared Kushner’s investment company Affinity Partners saw assets under management jump 60% last year to $4.8 billion, according to a regulatory filing, after it received a cash injection from Middle East investors including Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund.

Kushner, son-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump, launched the investment firm in 2021 after leaving the White House at the end of President Donald Trump’s first term, when he was a top adviser on the Middle East.

Affinity secured $1.5 billion of extra capital in 2024 from two of its existing investors – Abu Dhabi-based Lunate and Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund the Qatar Investment Authority – Kushner told an investment podcast in December.

He said the increased capital would give the fund “more firepower” and had been closed before Trump was re-elected for a second term.

That injection helped lift its assets under management to $4.8 billion by the end of 2024, up from $3 billion the prior year, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission under the company name A Fin Management LLC.

The sole owner of the company is Jared Kushner, the filing said.

Everyone Was Just Doing Their Job: How Specialization Enables Systemic Evil

The world’s a screaming match—doctors, economists, influencers, all clawing for their slice of truth. Nobody’s listening, and nobody’s seeing the whole damn picture. We have more information than ever, but we’re dumber where it counts, stuck in a loop of shouting past each other. This isn’t just politics or algorithm nonsense; it’s the cult of specialization—our worship of experts who know everything about nothing. Doctors pushing Covid shots didn’t see the fraud. Economists missed the heist. Engineers built surveillance without blinking. Each turned their screw, blind to the machine they were feeding—a Moral Assembly Line where systemic evil thrives. The system’s not broken; it’s built to break us, and we’re all complicit until we start connecting the dots. As I explored in The Illusion of Expertise, we’ve confused credentials with wisdom, compliance with intelligence. Now we see the deadly consequences: we’re not failing because of bad experts—we’re failing because specialization itself has become the operating system of institutional evil.

A Society Talking Past Itself

Step into any barroom debate, X thread, or YouTube comments section, and it’s chaos—facts flying, no one landing. We’ve outsourced our brains to specialists who slice reality into bits too small to mean anything. A cardiologist can’t talk vaccines. An economist reduces geopolitics to models, blind to the real forces at play. Everyone’s got their PhD in one inch of the world, and we’re dumber for it. Specialization doesn’t just fracture understanding; it’s the architecture of control, ensuring no one sees the crimes—medical fraud, wealth theft, digital chains—unfolding in plain sight. We’re not arguing because we’re stupid; we’re arguing because the system keeps us siloed, complicit, and clueless.

Trump Deletes Database Containing Over 5,000 Police Misconduct Incidents

In one of his first acts after returning to the White House, President Donald Trump ordered the Justice Department to delete a nationwide database tracking misconduct by federal law enforcement.

Along with rescinding former President Joe Biden’s executive orders on policing, Trump scrapped the National Law Enforcement Accountability Database (NLEAD), which logged more than 5,200 incidents of misconduct by federal officers and agents across various agencies.

In a written statement to The Washington Post, the White House said Biden’s executive order creating the NLEAD database “was full of woke, anti-police concepts that make communities less safe like a call for ‘equitable’ policing and addressing ‘systemic racism in our criminal justice system.’ President Trump rescinded the order creating this database on Day 1 because he is committed to giving our brave men and women of law enforcement the tools they need to stop crime.”

It is unclear what tool Trump is giving to law enforcement by deleting a nonpublic misconduct database—besides protection from future background checks.

Centralized databases of police misconduct are important because, traditionally, poor information sharing between departments and lax background checks have allowed problem officers to hop from one department to another, leaving a string of misconduct, rights violations, and expensive lawsuits.

Once upon a time, even Trump thought the database was a good idea. In 2020, the Trump White House issued an executive order directing the attorney general to “create a database to coordinate the sharing of information between and among Federal, State, local, tribal, and territorial
law enforcement agencies concerning instances of excessive use of force related to law enforcement matters, accounting for applicable privacy and due process rights.”

Biden’s NLEAD was actually less ambitious than Trump’s plan: It included only federal law enforcement, and access was limited to federal agencies. Still, federal law enforcement unions objected, complaining that the database included minor administrative infractions and didn’t give officers due process channels to dispute their inclusion.

Maxine Waters Nailed: Whopping Campaign Finance Violation – 400% Greater Trump ‘Violation’ That Got 34 Felony Counts

Honest, genuine question: What good are congressional Democrats?

Yes, yes, most are aware that they’re really good at enriching themselves, quite skilled at unilaterally opposing anything and all things President Donald Trump, and have a knack for taking belittling cheap shots at paraplegics, but what do they bring to the table that isn’t some horribly partisan nonsense?

Dems like to claim that they bring integrity and honesty — two things they often accuse Trump of lacking, ironically — but that’s an odd claim to make when they’re busted breaking the rules all the time.

And no example of this hypocrisy crystallizes all of that better than the mess that blowhard California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters currently finds herself in.

A Federal Election Commission report released Monday revealed that the California rep had violated several campaign finance rules that totaled over half a million dollars.

The report laid out the violations as such: “(1) misstatements of receipts and disbursements ($262,391 in receipts and $256,165 in disbursements); (2) acceptance of excessive contributions ($19,000); and (3) unlawful cash disbursements ($7,000).”

In total, that’s a clean $544,556 worth of campaign finance violations.

And Waters’ team all but admitted guilt by agreeing to pay a $68,000 fine over it.

“The Committee does not deny the allegations,” the report said of Waters’ team. “Instead, the Committee states that any errors it made were accidental, that the Committee has taken steps to both ameliorate the situation and prevent it from occurring again, and it requests that the Commission either take no further action or refer the matter to the Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution (‘ADRO’).

Here We Go: Trump Administration Launches Investigation into Biden Autopen Scandal – Here Are the Details

The long-awaited investigation into Joe Biden’s autopen scandal has begun and several members of his family should start sweating.

Reuters obtained an email from Ed Martin, the Justice Department’s pardon attorney, Ed Martin, telling staff that he has been ordered to investigate clemency allegedly granted by Biden in the final his time in office to his family members and death row inmates.

Martin wrote in the email that he will investigate whether Biden “was competent and whether others were taking advantage of him through use of AutoPen or other means.”

The email states that Martin will specifically focus on the preemptive pardons Biden issued to six members of his crooked family and the clemency he granted to 37 child r*pists, murderers, and other violent thugs on death row.

Biden’s executive orders apparently will not be covered in the investigation.

As TGP readers know, Biden pardoned five members of his family hours before Trump took the oath of office back in January.

Biden issued preemptive pardons to James B. Biden, Sara Jones Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, John T. Owens, and Francis W. Biden for any nonviolent offenses they may have committed from January 1, 2014, through the date of the pardon.

On December 1, Biden pardoned his ne’er do well son Hunter. The pardon, which covered any federal crimes by Hunter from 2014 to 2024, ended a case that was blown open by IRS whistleblowers who spoke out after the Biden Justice Department slow-walked an investigation into Hunter, allowing the statute of limitations to pass on some charges and offering Hunter a sweetheart plea deal that was ultimately rejected by an incredulous federal judge in Delaware resulting in the appointment of a special counsel by Attorney General Merrick Garland in the case.

News of this investigation comes after Martin identified the gatekeepers involved in the autopen scandal late last month.

Busted: The Daily Mail and X’s Misinformation Campaign about Measles

On May 31, The “Daily Mail” and the web-based news aggregator “All Sides” had articles titled: “CDC tells Americans to CANCEL their flights after finding world’s most infectious disease is spreading on planes.”

This is one of the most clear-cut examples of fake news being deployed in a coordinated manner to advance a psychological bioterror campaign that I have ever encountered.

These articles make outright false claims about Measles. Other terms to describe what is being done here include psychological bioterrorism, fear porn, or simply lies and disinformation. The proof of this follows. Which leads to the burning question of whether or not the notoriously censorial UK Government of Keir Starmer will do anything about it. If not, we can reasonably consider this prima facie evidence that the UK government is (at a minimum) complicit in spreading disinformation and promoting false fear of infectious disease for some hidden purpose.

Anthony Fauci Gets Demolished by White House in New Covid Update

Anthony Fauci must be furious.

He spent years proudly being the public face of the country’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. He did, however, flip-flop on almost every major issue, seamlessly managing to shift his guidance based on current political whims and an enormous desire to coerce behavior.

Nowhere was this more obvious than his dictates on masks. If you recall, in February 2020, Fauci infamously stated on 60 Minutes that masks didn’t work. That they didn’t provide the protection people thought they did, there were gaps in the fit, and wearing masks could actually make things worse by encouraging wearers to touch their face.

Just a few months later, he did a 180, then backtracked by making up a post-hoc justification for his initial remarks. Laughably, Fauci said that he recommended against masks to protect supply for healthcare workers, as if hospitals would ever buy cloth masks on Amazon like the general public.

Later in interviews, he guaranteed that cities or states that listened to his advice would fare better than those that didn’t. Masks would limit Covid transmission so effectively, he believed, that it would be immediately obvious which states had mandates and which didn’t. It was obvious, but not in the way he expected.

Human trafficking hotline contractor under scrutiny over ‘revolving door’ allegations

The Polaris Project, which oversees the hotline that whistleblowers say regularly fails to refer tips to law enforcement for investigation, has longstanding ties to the Department of Health and Human Services office that oversees its grant, raising concerns about whether the nonprofit is facing proper scrutiny for its contract.

Polaris, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that administers the National Human Trafficking Hotline, has faced scrutiny from Congress in recent months after whistleblowers came forward alleging that the hotline was failing to report tips to law enforcement over several years, generating concerns from state attorneys general, Just the News previously reported

Last month, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, presented evidence turned over to Congress by an anonymous employee of Polaris detailing the prior allegations. The whistleblowers’ disclosures, Grassley wrote, “appear to confirm the allegations that Polaris is not reporting instances of potential human trafficking to law enforcement.”

Grassley’s letter highlighted that earlier this year, Polaris’ hotline failed to report to law enforcement at least two instances of possible sex trafficking involving minors. Polaris says that it “supports survivors’ right to choose what those next steps might be” including reports to law enforcement, “[except] in situations involving potential abuse of a minor or if we believe a person is in imminent danger.”

The whistleblower evidence follows repeated letters from bipartisan groups of state attorneys general raising concerns with the federal health agency that Polaris was failing to report tips to its hotline despite the million-dollar contract and efforts by past administrations to ensure the nonprofit was better cooperating with local law enforcement. The most recent letter was delivered to HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy in February and signed by 41 state attorneys general.
