Canada in talks with the US about joining its ‘Golden Dome’ missile defense system, Carney says

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said Wednesday his government is talking to the U.S. about joining President Donald Trump’s future Golden Dome missile defense program.

The multilayered, $175 billion system would for the first time put U.S. weapons in space. Trump said the previous day he expected the system to be fully operational by the end of his term in 2029.

“Is it a good idea for Canada? Yes, it is a good to have protections in place for Canadians,” Carney said.

Carney confirmed he’s had talks with Trump about it and said there are discussions with senior officials. Trump said the Canadian government had contacted his administration indicating it wants to join the program and that he will work with Ottawa to ensure it contributes its “fair share.”

Golden Dome is envisioned to include ground- and space-based capabilities to detect and stop missiles at all four major stages of a potential attack: detecting and destroying them before a launch, intercepting them in their earliest stage of flight, stopping them midcourse in the air, or halting them in the final minutes as they descend toward a target.

Disgusting: Canada Promotes Euthanasia WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT For Children & Teens Suffering From Mental Health Issues

Host of “Over Opinionated” Jasmin Laine posted flyers she came across in Manitoba, Canada, that support allowing euthanasia for kids and teenagers deemed “mature minors” by the eugenicist Canadian government.

“You have to be a special kind of demonic to advocate for MAID for young vulnerable people and people who are suicidal,” she wrote on 𝕏. “Imagine walking into a clinic for help, and being told the world would be better off without you… that you should cave to the lies the devil on your shoulder is telling you and it would be more affordable for Canada’s healthcare system if you were gone.”

Laine is the perfect person to bring attention to the disturbing concept as she has participated in “recovery plans and treatment after trying to end it” after her partner of ten years committed suicide.

“There is nothing compassionate about this—it is pure evil,” she concluded her post.

The flyers explain that members of the Canadian government have recommended citizens deemed “mature minors” be allowed to qualify for MAID, or medically-assisted suicide.

“A mature minor is a child or teen who is deemed capable of making a decision for MAID. This would essentially remove the minimum age of eligibility,” the paper states. “The [government] committee also suggested parents may not be consulted and wouldn’t need to consent to their child’s death via MAID.”

In an example of dystopian hypocrisy, the informational pamphlet also says, “Children are uniquely vulnerable. Canada’s first priority must be to provide high quality medical care for children.”

So, to allegedly protect the most vulnerable citizens, Canada wants to allow them to be killed without parental consent.

Beginning in March 2027, the physician-assisted suicide program will be available to Canadians suffering from mental illnesses.

Continuing to bizarrely invert reality, the pamphlet states, “Hopelessness and a desire to end one’s life can be a symptom of some mental illnesses,” before promoting suicide as faster alternative than waiting for medical treatments.

Essentially, the Canadian health care system is so screwed that the government is telling citizens they can sign up for medical suicide quicker than they can get the help they need.

Canadian Man Euthanized Because He Had Bedsores

The coroner’s inquest into the euthanasia death of Normand Meunier continued last week in Saint-Jérôme, Québec.

The inquest examined how Meunier acquired the horrific bedsore that resulted in Meunier dying by euthanasia (Medical Assistance In Dying—MAID).

On May 13, Leora Schertzer reported for the Montreal Gazette that:

Geneviève Paradis, a nurse who cared for Normand Meunier during his time in the ICU, testified Monday that she did not check Meunier’s bedsores, noting that the hospital was short staffed. Another nurse, Rachel Lanthier, testified she thought one bedsore was significant, but did not see any records of it in Meunier’s hospital file to make a comparison and track the wound’s growth.

Meunier’s decision to seek MAID, she wrote,

was a last resort for a patient who had been systemically neglected by Quebec’s health-care system, Patrick Martin-Ménard, the lawyer representing Meunier’s family, explained in an interview.

“The crumbling health-care system allowed the pressure wounds to reach a point at which there was no possible recovery. And that in itself, I find it to be extremely shocking,” Martin-Ménard said.

Schertzer explained the extent of Meunier’s bed sores.

Meunier, 66, was brought to the ER for a respiratory issue in January 2024 and was left on a stretcher for 96 hours. When he was admitted to the hospital, he had three bedsores that were at risk of worsening without proper care. By the time he chose to end his life two months later with MAID, the wounds spanned nearly the entire width of his buttocks, exposing his internal organs.

The Canadian Press reported on May 15 that Sylvie Brosseau, Meunier’s wife, advocated for his care but was ignored:

Brosseau says Meunier loved the outdoors and had many dreams and plans despite being quadriplegic.

All that changed after he was left on a stretcher at the St-Jérôme hospital for 96 hours and developed a severe pressure sore that never healed.

Brosseau says she repeatedly asked for Meunier to be given a special therapeutic mattress that prevents sores, but she says she felt ignored by hospital staff.

Meunier requested medical assistance in dying two months after developing the sore and died March 29, 2024.

Meunier’s lawyer, Patrick Martin-Ménard, said:

although it’s tragic Meunier had to turn to MAID because of Quebec’s crumbling health-care system, the option at least let him die with dignity.

Martin-Ménard is missing the reality that euthanasia (MAiD) is used to cover up the crumbling health-care system. Th death of Normand Meunier is one of many tragic euthanasia deaths.

When I first heard about the ostrich farm in Edgewood, British Columbia, facing a forced cull of 400 ostriches, something immediately felt off. Sure, authorities claim they’re responding to an avian flu outbreak—but the deeper I dig into this, the more it smells of something else entirely. Let’s get right into it, because this isn’t just about bird flu—this is about science, censorship, profits, and powerful global interests that seem determined to control the narrative and crush alternatives.

The Edgewood Ostrich Outrage: How We Got Here

Picture a remote, idyllic farm in British Columbia’s Kootenay region, home to about 400 ostriches on 65 acres. On December 31, 2024, two ostriches tragically die of H5N1 avian flu, reportedly brought by wild migratory birds. This leads to a swift quarantine by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)—but that’s just the beginning.

Incredibly, after the initial outbreak, only about 40 birds (roughly 10% of the flock, mainly younger ostriches) succumb to the virus. Within just days, something remarkable occurs: the flock stabilizes, and the remaining 90% of the birds are thriving. Farm owner Karen Espersen observes that these ostriches seem to develop immunity, something clearly special and scientifically fascinating.

Yet despite the farm’s desperate pleas for additional testing and careful scientific study, the CFIA orders all ostriches culled—every last healthy bird—to supposedly “prevent the spread.” The family fights back, but on May 13, 2025, the Canadian Federal Court sides with the CFIA, leaving no room for appeal. The ostriches, despite clear evidence of recovery and possible immunity, are condemned to death.

Why the rush to destroy animals that might be holding keys to groundbreaking treatments? Why no interest in studying them further?

Ontario Chief Coroner reports raise concerns that MAID policy and practice focus on access rather than protection

The Chief Coroner for Ontario recently released two new reports of its interdisciplinary MAID Death Review Committee: on Same or Next Day Provision of MAID and on Waiver of Final Consent.

The MAID Death Review Committee — of which I am a member — reviews cases of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) that are selected by the coroner’s MAID team for the common issues they raise. The review helps inform policy recommendations.

Committee reports contain case summaries and summaries of committee discussions, and the Chief Coroner’s recommendations. The newly released reports appear to confirm what is argued in several chapters in our recently co-edited volume, Unravelling MAiD in Canada: Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide as Medical Care, and in other publications: Canada’s MAID law, policy and practice focuses excessively on promoting access to death, not on protection.

Some of the cases suggest a troubling prioritizing of ending patients’ lives with MAID rather than a precautionary approach. In my opinion, they reveal an urgent need for more rigorous legal and professional standards. Committee members’ starkly contrasting views on the ethics of some of the practices, which can be gleaned from the anonymous summaries of the committee’s discussions, are striking.

RED FLAG: Carney called to freeze Freedom Trucker’s bank accounts, said protesters were ‘seditious’

An unearthed op-ed from February 2022 by Mark Carney provides Canadians with insight into how the new prime minister views the rights of private citizens.

In the wake of the Freedom Convoy protests that gripped Ottawa, Carney, one week into the protests and just before the use of the Emergencies Act by then-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, made it clear that he was in favor of freezing the bank accounts of Canadians, cutting funding to the protest, and even calling the movement “seditious” without evidence. Carney declared that those who donated to the protest were “funding sedition” and referred to the organizers’ actions as “blatant treachery.”

One has to wonder if it was Carney who came up with the idea to freeze the accounts, as he had served as an advisor to the prime minister at this time.

He described balloon bouncy castles and a grassroots, peaceful movement as “dangerous infrastructure” that was being “reinforced” by those funding the movement.

Carney wrote: “On the first weekend, many Canadians who joined the demonstrations undoubtedly had peaceful objectives. Tired as we all are with unprecedented disruptions over the past two years, it’s understandable that many would want to come to Ottawa to protest. It’s a free country, and everyone should be able to express their opinions free of interference from the state, just as the press should be able to report without fear of harassment or intimidation.

“But now, in its second week, no one should have any doubt. This is sedition. That’s a word I never thought I’d use in Canada. It means ‘incitement of resistance to or insurrection against lawful authority.’”

Carney, perhaps drawing on his background in global finance, framed the convoy’s actions not as an expression of public dissent but as a direct attack on democracy. By writing, “You are funding sedition,” he bluntly told the public that any support—financial or otherwise—for the protests was an endorsement of an attempt to undermine the authority of a democratically elected government.

What followed was the freezing of bank accounts by the RCMP, in line with the emergency measures enacted by the Trudeau administration to quell the protests. A series of financial institutions, under pressure from government orders, complied by suspending the accounts of anyone linked to the convoy. This move caught the attention of international figures, including podcaster Joe Rogan, who cited it as an example of rights being “lost” in Canada.

Oil-Rich Province of Alberta May Hold Referendum To Secede From Woke Canada

Canada may have escaped for now the (for them) humiliating fate of becoming the 51st US state, but things are in motion that suggest nothing will ever be the same in the ‘Great White North.’

The conservative premier of Canada’s oil-rich province of Alberta said yesterday (5) that a referendum on separation from Canada will be held next year if a citizen-led petition reaches the required number of signatures.

Associated Press reported:

“Speaking on a livestream address, Danielle Smith said she personally does not support the province leaving Canada and expressed hope of a ‘path forward’ for a strong and sovereign Alberta within a united Canada.

‘Should Ottawa, for whatever reason, continue to attack our province as they have done over the last decade, ultimately that will be for Albertans to decide’, she said. “I will accept their judgement’.”

This development follows the victory of Mark Carney, ushering in the fourth consecutive Labour government.

New PM Carney will meet US President Donald J. Trump today (6) to work out trade issues and the threat of annexation.

“Smith accused previous federal Liberal governments of introducing different legislations that hamstring Alberta’s ability to produce and export oil, which she said has cost the province billions of dollars. She also said she doesn’t want the federal government meddling in provincial issues.”

Canada’s new globalist Prime Minister Mark Carney is joining President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday to discuss the ongoing trade war, security issues and more.

Worse Than Trudeau: Canadians Should Expect Disaster With Carney In Charge

Justin Trudeau’s far-left regime in Canada has finally come to an end as the politician exits leadership in disgrace.  His legacy includes authoritarian governance during the pandemic, whereby he threw Christian church goers and pastors in prison for refusing to stop congregations.  He called for mass forced vaccinations, and he locked the bank accounts of protesters speaking out against the covid mandates.  His admin compared people donating to the cause to “terrorists”. 

His socialist economic policies helped to exacerbate Canada’s inflation crisis and his open immigration policies greatly expanded the the flood of third-world foreigners, driving up housing prices, crushing the labor market and straining social services.  By most accounts, the majority of Canadians were ecstatic to see Trudeau exit the stage. 

But what if they still haven’t learned their lesson?  How is that even possible?

According to recent polls for the 2025 election set for April 28th, it is likely that Canadians have very short memories or they’re gluttons for punishment.  Why?  Because Mark Carney and the Liberal Party are projected to make considerable gains.  Carney has rebranded himself as a “centrist” in order to win public favor, but nothing could be further from the truth.  Mark Carney is, in fact, worse than Trudeau on every level.
