CIA Denies Conspiracy Theory That It Used MKUltra on Trump Shooter

Was the attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump earlier this month part of a secret CIA program involving brainwashed killers? That’s the claim being made by some far-right accounts on X, but the U.S. intelligence agency is taking the unusual step of directly and forcefully denying the claims.

When it was revealed in the 1970s that the CIA had tried to develop a mind-manipulation program called MKUltra, it sounded like the most absurd conspiracy theory around. Unfortunately, it turned out to be true, even if the suggestive results of the program–and potential for creating Manchurian Candidate-like killers–have been exaggerated in the subsequent decades.

But MKUltra has become quite a meme in the 2020s, with many conspiracy theorists jumping into the fray after Trump was shot at by a 20-year-old during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. The shooter was identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks who acted alone. But some people on social media are trying to claim Crooks was somehow trained by the CIA under an MKUltra program to go after Trump.

“What if US President Joe Biden’s ‘mean tweets’ triggered Thomas Matthew Crooks?” one X account that goes by the name Real Global News tweeted a couple days after the shooting. “Yes like an #MKUltra test subject. I dont want to go into conspiracy theories here but the CIA did mind control experiments like the #ManchurianCandidate. Wait for the trigger before acting.”

Another account with the handle @MJTruthUltra tweeted “MKUltra anyone?” with a list of supposedly suspicious claims about Crooks and the way local police handled the investigation into the assassination attempt against Trump.

The CIA, for its part, decided to push back very publicly against these claims, something the agency doesn’t often do when weird conspiracy theories are floating around on the internet.

“These claims are utterly false, absurd, and damaging,” a CIA spokesperson told Gizmodo on Thursday. “The CIA had no relationship whatsoever with Thomas Crooks. Regarding MKULTRA, the CIA’s program was shut down more than 40 years ago, and declassified information about the program is publicly available on CIA.gov.”

Big Tech Caught Suppressing Search Results, Other Information About Trump Assassination Attempt

On Sunday, several Big Tech companies faced intense backlash after it appeared that they were suppressing search results related to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. Now, they’re facing accusations of election interference, and even a Senate investigation.

Google users began noticing that the search engine’s Autocomplete function was omitting results related to the assassination attempt against Trump. Social media users began to spread similar images online, and soon, members of government, as well as Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, had picked up examples of their own. 

Trump’s assassination attempt was nowhere to be seen, even when users searched “the assassination attempt of” in the Google search bar.

The New York Post tested the theory themselves, using the last names of U.S. presidents who were assassinated or faced attempted assassination, followed by the letters “assassi” to see what autocomplete suggested. While each of these were given helpful, related results, Trump’s assassination attempt was nowhere to be found when typed in.

A World of Illusions

Nothing is as it appears. Kim Cheatle resigned as director of the Secret Service under intense pressure. In a rare display of bipartisanship, Republicans and Democrats grilled Cheatle as she stonewalled in front of James Comer’s House Oversight Committee. Stonewalling is art among Biden administration appointees. Yet, don’t think that committee Democrats joined Republicans on principle.

As always in Washington, low politics downed Cheatle, a favorite of Doc Jill Biden. That favoritism showed the weekend Donald Trump was shot. Doc Jill’s Secret Service detail was boosted while she was at Pittsburgh, a mere hour south of Butler. Trump’s detail was left wanting.

Cheatle was cut loose because Democrats are covering their rears. Democrats want to fob off the shooting as another misfit white guy with grudges. But is that the real story? Thanks to their hate rhetoric, more likely, Thomas Matthew Crooks was incited to try killing Trump. The “Trump as Hitler” line was started by Hillary Clinton last autumn on The View. Crooks nearly changed history. Democrats have been dodging the truth. Republicans shouldn’t let them get away with it, but probably will.

Cheatle — a DEI hire, too — was in over her head. As mentioned, the Secret Service had under-resourced Trump’s protection detail. That suggests a darker motive: that Cheatle and her boss, Alejandro Mayorkas, the weaselly secretary of Homeland Security, didn’t give a damn about Trump’s safety. A number of Democrats spilled the beans. After the shooting, many publicly hoped that the next gunman “wouldn’t miss next time.”

Don’t forget that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s request for Secret Service protection was turned down multiple times. Not that anyone would want to shoot another Kennedy. RFK Jr. claims that the Biden administration did so to siphon off monies — hundreds of thousands monthly — from his campaign for security. Biden’s handlers hoped to squeeze Kennedy out of the race. It took Trump’s near-murder for Biden’s handlers to relent. Only when the optics changed did they change.

Cheatle needed to go but never should have been hired. But that’s the Biden administration’s tale. It’s populated with DEI box checks to please progressives. Their incompetence, corruption, and blinkered devotion to woke ideology have converged to wreck America.

FBI Says Unequivocally That Trump Was Hit By A Bullet

The FBI has released a statement declaring that without doubt President Trump was hit by a bullet two weeks ago at his rally in Pennsylvania.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the FBI statement asserts.

“The FBI’s Shooting Reconstruction Team continues to examine evidence from the scene, including bullet fragments, and the investigation remains ongoing,” the statement adds.

The statement comes following comments made by FBI director Christopher Wray earlier in the week during testimony in Congress that spurred leftist conspiracy theories that Trump was hit by glass or shrapnel.

“There’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel,” Wray said to Rep. Jim Jordan on Thursday.

Britain Funds Nazis, Condones Political Assassinations, the Odessa Trade Union Massacre and Banning Political Parties

On May 2, 2014, heavily-armed fascist militia forces attacked the House of Trade Unions in Odessa, Ukraine. Trapped inside were demonstrators opposed to the government in Kiev that had been put in place in a U.S.-orchestrated coup against the democratically elected government just weeks earlier. A campaign of ethnic cleansing had been launched against Russian-speaking Ukrainians, with the Russian language being banned from public life.

In the aftermath of the attack and fire 48 deaths were confirmed. Openly nazi militia shelled civilians in the oblasts of Luhansk and Donetsk (now not surprisingly independent republics). Those militia have since been armed and trained by Britain and the USA with the full knowledge of their trainees’ extreme politics. See this. By the end of 2021 some 15,000 Russian Ukrainians had died including hundreds of children. None of this was covered in the UK press or discussed in parliament.

“Ukraine a Democracy” – Stoltenberg

In recent days, as NATO/EU continues to stoke their war against Russia at the cost of some 500,000 Ukrainian dead and wounded the NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg called Ukraine a “democratic country.” 

Zelensky, coming to power by banning the main opposition party and arresting its leader, then abolished 12 political parties. He has just cancelled elections for the presidency. Ukrainian intelligence services arrest anyone who expresses a critical opinion. Neo-Nazi gangs rule the streets. Churches are attacked and closed. Men are press-ganged from the streets and sent within days to die in the trenches. (If the (TCC) press gangs fail then they are sent to the front!) The Border force shoots Ukrainians crossing the border and lays mines to stop them and political assassinations are commonplace – see this.

Zelensky’s Assassinations

On June 8, 2024 the former mayor of Kupyansk Gennady Matsegora was shot on the doorstep of his house in Stary Oskol (Belgorod Region). Despite the efforts of doctors, Matsegora died without regaining consciousness. He had been threatened by Ukrainians and Kiev authorities (specifically the GUR, the Intelligence Directorate) admitted their involvement. 

On 1/4/2024, in a car explosion in Starobelsk, Luhansk Region, Valery Chaika, the deputy head of the Luhansk “Center for Services to Educational Organizations,” was murdered – an evident political assassination. The explosion occurred near the Starobelsky Faculty of the Lugansk Pedagogical University.

SBU (Ukraine State security service) head Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk admitted assassinations inside Russia, see this.

Ukraine raised its attacks on the Donbas republics as elections were being held there. A  woman who died as a result of a terrorist attack in Berdyansk was a member of the election commission; a bomb was planted under her car, the Investigative Committee reported. See this.

Popular Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Sharij just survived an assassination attempt in Spain. Two unknown gunmen shot at his car using a machine gun affixed with a silencer. In February of 2021, Shariy was accused of treason by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) which unsuccessfully attempted to extradite him from Spain back to Ukraine.

In November 2023 a Russian hit man was arrested who had been employed by Ukrainian Intelligence to assassinate the American journalist Tucker Carlson. See this.

Maryland Professor Pens Article Suggesting ‘Black People’ Wish Shooter Had Killed Trump

Just days after the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, a professor at Morgan State University in Maryland penned an op-ed claiming that she and other Black Americans are justified in wishing that the attempt to kill “evil” Trump had been successful.

In Dr. Stacey Patton’s article, “‘Is He Dead?’ Why Black People Are Not Grieving The Failed Assassination Of Donald Trump,” the professor likens the attempt on Trump’s life to two failed attempts against Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and pushes the type of “Trump is Hitler” narrative that lead to the failed attempt on his life.

Patton describes how the world would have been better off had the assassination attempt been successful.

Patton writes:

Is it immoral to yearn for the death of another human being? Of course it is, in most cases.

But when we look back upon the past and see the acrid smoke of crematoriums and mountains of bodies, can you blame people for weighing the value of a single life against the salvation of millions?

Patton uses that twisted logic to say that the July 13th attempt on President Trump’s life is an equivalent moment in time to killing Hitler and thus Black Americans would wish for the former president’s death because they wish for “the death of evil.”

Violence is America’s main currency and Donald Trump has served as the spark for the official rebirth of white supremacy.

Black people are not reveling in violence. We are wishing for the death of evil. We are longing for the prevention of evil. For a moment on Saturday, we held our collective breath. We were suspended in uncertainty, caught between desperation and hope, asking: What if?

Photo Taken by TGP Reporter Appears to Show Trump Shooter Thomas Crooks’s Drone Flying Over Butler, PA Rally at 3:54 PM

A photo taken by longtime Gateway Pundit contributor Kristinn Taylor at President Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13 appears to show the drone flown by 20-year-old would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks.

The photo was taken a little over two hours before the would-be assassin fired eight shots at President Trump before he was finally neutralized. (Enlarged images of the photo included further below in this article.)

One Trump supporter, Corey Comperatore, was murdered while two Trump supporters were seriously wounded during the attack.

President Trump was shot in the head by a bullet that miraculously only hit his ear as he turned to his right on stage to look at a jumbotron with a graph on immigration. Crooks was shot dead by a Secret Service sniper 26 seconds (nearly half a minute!) after he opened fire on former President Donald Trump.

Biden Must be Held Accountable for his Actions.

The most immediate key person in the organizational chart below who was responsible for the assassination attempt fiasco has now resigned; Secret Service (USSS) Director Kimberly Cheadle, who reported to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Mayorkas is the next person who must go.

According to a report from the Washington Post, published on July 21, 2024, USSS leadership has denied repeated requests from Donald Trump’s security detail over a two-year period for additional resources, including more snipers and other security measures.

Mayorkas’s decision to deny additional Secret Service protection for Trump and the complete refusal of Secret Service protection for Kennedy has played a significant role in both presidential campaigns and endangered the lives of these candidates.

Mayorkas is now pressuring Trump not to hold any more rallies outside – as the “Secret Service” feels (there is that word again…) that they can’t protect Trump in such events. This could have a significant, potentially devastating impact on Trump’s election prospects, as these rallies are a key source of enthusiasm and donations for the Trump campaign.

Congressional Incompetence in Its Trump-Shooting Investigation

Members of Congress are besides themselves over the testimony of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle regarding the near-assassination of former president Trump. They are upset that Cheatle was unable to provide them with adequate explanations as to what appears to be incompetence at best and willful blindness, conscious indifference, or complicity at worst on the part of the Secret Service.

But if incompetence is the right explanation, it is matched by the incompetence of Congress in its supposed investigation into the shooting. After all, Cheatle wasn’t even there. Therefore, anything to which she testifies is necessarily based on nothing more than what others have told her. How is that type of testimony supposed to get to the bottom of what actually happened? It’s not.

If Congress really wants to determine what happened and why, it should subpoena every single Secret Service agent and every single police officer on duty that day. Take the sworn testimony of all of them. Don’t let any of them sit inside the chamber and listen to what other witnesses are saying. Then put all that sworn testimony together and see if there are any contractions, anomalies, etc. If there are, then follow up on them.

That’s the only way for Congress to determine whether the facts and circumstances go beyond incompetence and cross the line into conscious indifference, willful blindness, or complicity.

If this was a deep-state operation, as some are alleging, it would be extremely difficult to pierce it, especially since the purported shooter, Thomas Crooks, is dead and, therefore, can’t talk. After decades of study and practice, the deep state is very good at state-sponsored assassinations and, equally important, at keeping its role in such assassinations secret.

Recall the CIA’s assassination manual from 1953 that was uncovered in the 1990s. It not only provided the means of assassination, it also provided the means of conducting such assassinations without anyone figuring out that it was the CIA that was behind the assassination. Getting away with the assassination is as important as committing it.

Secret Service refused drones before Trump shooting, whistleblower says: Report

A new whistleblower report claims that the U.S. Secret Service refused local law enforcement offers to have drone security at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The allegation comes after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) confirmed that would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks flew a reconnaissance drone in the area just hours before the campaign rally.

Sharing a copy of a letter he sent on Thursday to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) highlighted new allegations from an anonymous whistleblower.

Hawley tweeted, “Whistleblower tells me local law enforcement partners & suppliers offered drones to Secret Service BEFORE the rally – but Secret Service declined.”

In his letter to Mayorkas, Hawley said a whistleblower said the Secret Service “repeatedly denied offers from a local law enforcement partner to utilize drone technology to secure the rally” the night before Trump’s Pennsylvania rally. In light of the whistleblower’s testimony, the Missouri senator said, “This means that the technology was both available to [U.S. Secret Service] and able to be deployed to secure the site.”

Despite having drone technology available, Hawley said the Secret Service said “no” to the offer. He added that the whistleblower also claimed that the Secret Service later requested the deployment of drone technology after the assassination attempt to “surveil the site in the aftermath of the attack.”
