Trump demands full disclosure on assassination attempts, citing withheld information

President Donald Trump issued a directive to the Secret Service on Friday, Feb. 7, demanding a complete and unfiltered disclosure of information regarding two individuals who attempted to assassinate him last year.

Speaking to the New York Post, Trump expressed frustration over the delayed release of details, asserting that he has the right to know.

The incidents, which occurred in July and September 2024, have raised significant questions about the motives and potential foreign connections of the would-be assassins. The first attempt took place at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where 19-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired a rifle shot that struck Trump in the ear. Crooks was fatally shot by law enforcement at the scene. Federal investigators later discovered that Crooks possessed six cell phones and accounts on encrypted messaging platforms linked to Belgium, Germany and New Zealand, casting doubt on whether he acted alone.

The second attempt involved 59-year-old Ryan Routh, who was apprehended near the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida. Routh, armed with a rifle, had been lying in wait. Authorities revealed that he had previously served as a recruiter in Ukraine and authored a self-published book on Amazon calling for Trump’s assassination. Routh is currently awaiting trial in September and faces the possibility of life in prison.

Stunning Plot To Attack Trump’s Plane Is Revealed

An Iranian-backed plot to assassinate President Donald Trump has been foiled by federal authorities who disclosed that the nation’s radical Muslim leaders had placed sleeper cells within the U.S.

The prospect of terrorists living in the U.S. has existed for decades, but until recently, the discovery of Iranian agents had not been known. Those placed in the continental U.S. were equipped with access to surface-to-air missiles capable of taking down Trump’s airplane, according to Politico reporter Alex Isenstadt, who was given “extensive access” to Trump’s inner circle during the 2024 campaign.

In his new book “Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power,” Isenstadt chronicles efforts by the FBI and Secret Service to thwart plots against Trump’s life, two of which nearly succeeded. Somewhere along the way, the Secret Service shot down a drone that agents believed was following the president’s motorcade along a predetermined route.

“Law enforcement officials warned Trump last year that Tehran had placed operatives in the U.S. with access to surface-to-air missiles,” he wrote, the Daily Caller reports. “Trump’s team worried that the Iranians could try to down his easily recognizable personal jet — better known as ‘Trump Force One’ — as it was taking off or landing.”

FBI finds secret JFK assassination records after Trump order

The FBI just discovered about 2,400 records tied to President Kennedy’s assassination that were never provided to a board tasked with reviewing and disclosing the documents, Axios has learned.

  • The still-secret records are contained in 14,000 pages of documents the FBI found in a review triggered by President Trump‘s Jan. 23 executive order demanding the release of all JFK assassination records.

Why it matters: The discovery — 61 years after Kennedy was killed in Dallas — follows decades of government reluctance to release all documents related to the assassination, which fueled a mountain of conspiracy theories.

  • The existence of the new documents was disclosed Friday to the White House, when the Office of the Director of National Intelligence submitted its plan to disclose the assassination records under Trump’s order.

Zoom in: The contents of the newly found records are closely held secrets. The three sources who relayed their existence to Axios said they hadn’t seen the documents.

  • But the discovery of thousands of records on one of the most scrutinized events in U.S. history is likely to raise questions about the procedures for vetting and releasing information across the entire government.
  • “This is huge. It shows the FBI is taking this seriously,” said Jefferson Morley, an expert on the assassination and vice president of the nonpartisan Mary Ferrell Foundation, the nation’s largest source of online records of Kennedy’s killing. He sued the U.S. government for more records.
  • “The FBI is finally saying, ‘Let’s respond to the president’s order,’ instead of keeping the secrecy going,” Morley said.

Reality check: The remaining records to be disclosed — as well as the newly discovered tranche of 2,400 reports — are unlikely to definitively prove whether Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone-wolf assassin or was part of a broader conspiracy, experts say.

Secret Service Shot Down Drone above Trump Motorcade during Election Campaign

President Trump’s Secret Service detail were forced to shoot down a drone during the election campaign, according to a new book.

Reporter Alex Isenstadt says that while on campaign in Pennsylvania—where Trump was almost assassinated by a gunman—a drone began following the Trump motorcade, prompting a Secret Service agent to shoot it down with an electromagnetic weapon.

The Trump campaign was particularly concerned by threats to his life from the Iranian regime, which has vowed revenge against the President since the killing of General Qassem Soleimani, during Trump’s first term in office.

Isenstadt says that Trump was warned of threats to his private jet “Trump Force One” from Iranian operatives armed with surface-to-air missiles. It was worried the plane would be particularly vulnerable during takeoff and landing.

The book claims that Trump travelled on a decoy plane provided by businessman Steve Witkoff, who has since been named Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East. Trump was playing golf with Steve Witkoff in West Palm Beach when a second attempt was made on his life by Ryan Routh, who is due to face trial for the attempt, in September.

“I’m Entitled to Know” — President Trump Orders Secret Service to Provide “Every Bit” of Information on His Two Would-Be Assassins

The American people are going to finally know the full truth about what really happened regarding the two attempts on Trump’s life last year.

President Trump told the New York Post on Saturday that he has ordered the Secret Service to provide “every bit” of information regarding the two people who tried to kill him last year: 19-year-old Thomas Crooks and 59-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh. He said he sent out instructions to disclose this information on Friday.

“I entitled to know,” Trump told the New York Post’s Miranda Devine.

“I want to find out about the two assassins,” he added. “Why did the one guy have six cell phones and why did the other guy have (foreign) apps?”

Trump went to rightfully blame Joe Biden for the Secret Service holding back information from the public.

“No more holding back because of Biden,” Trump stated. “I’m entitled to know. And they held it back long enough.”

“No excuses.”

Trump Warns He Left Instructions To Destroy Iran If He Is Assassinated

It’s been a longtime conservative media and Republican talking point that Tehran is looking for opportunities to take out President Donald Trump, in retaliation for his ordering the drone killing of IRGC Quds Force chief Qasem Soleimani on January 3, 2020 outside Baghdad International Airport during his first administration.

President Trump has this week warned that he has left instructions ordering the destruction of the Islamic Republic in the event he is assassinated by Iranian agents.

The unexpected and somewhat unprecedented contingency, which we would expect at the very least would require the approval of Congress, was issued Tuesday while Trump signed an executive order in the Oval Office restoring “maximum pressure” to Iran. Trump hailed the action as “very tough on Iran”.

That’s when he was questioned by reporters over Iran and its proxies threatening to assassinate him, to which the commander-in-chief responded:

They haven’t done that and that would be a terrible thing for them to do. Not because of me— if they did that, they would be obliterated. That would be the end. I’ve left instructions, if they do it, they get obliterated, there won’t be anything left. And, they shouldn’t be able to do it.”

He laid blame in part on the prior Biden administration for being weak on Iran, and allowing alleged plots to fester without taking firm action. He soon after received Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.

“Biden should have said that but he never did, I don’t know why. Lack of intelligence perhaps but he never said it. If that happens to a leader or close to a leader— frankly, if you had other people involved also—you would call for total obliteration of a state that did it. That would include Iran,” Trump said.

Back in September of last year, Trump said at an event in North Carolina: “As you know, there have been two assassination attempts on my life that we know of, and they may or may not involve – but possibly do – Iran.”

He also wrote on X at the time, “Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire US Military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone. I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before.”

Long Awaited JFK Files Could Be Released Soon

The Director of National Intelligence and the U.S. Attorney General have until Feb. 7 to present a full disclosure plan for the records pertaining to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, according to an executive order signed by President Donald Trump on Jan. 23.

I have now determined that the continued redaction and withholding of information from records pertaining to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is not consistent with the public interest, and the release of these records is long overdue,” Trump wrote in the order.

Since Kennedy was shot in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, some have speculated about what the government knows, and the slow release of documents has only heightened suspicions, according to those calling for declassification.

According to the National Archives, more than 5 million documents, photographs, and other artifacts related to the assassination are in the government’s possession.

Approximately 99 percent of the records are available for the public to review, although around 5,000 documents remain sealed or redacted.

Some have additionally questioned the official narratives regarding the assassinations of Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr.. The order also calls for King’s records to be released—with the plans due by early March.

“Their families and the American people deserve transparency and truth,” Trump’s order states. “It is in the national interest to finally release all records related to these assassinations without delay.”

While signing the executive order, Trump said, “People are waiting for this for years, for decades, and everything will be revealed.”

He instructed his staff to hand the pen he used to sign the order to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.—the nephew of the deceased president and the son of the slain former senator.

RFK Jr. has long criticized the government for concealing documents and has suggested the Central Intelligence Agency may have played a role in his uncle’s death.

‘Let Biden Go With Blinken To The Electric Chair’ – Russia Asks US To Probe ‘Biden & His Henchmen’ For Trying To Assassinate Trump, Putin, Orban, Fico & Other World Leaders

Russian parliamentary speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said Wednesday he would like the United States Congress to open an investigation into alleged attempts by the Biden administration to assassinate anti-globalist heads of state.

Volodin was responding to a statement by Tucker Carlson earlier this week where he told fellow journalist Matt Taibbi that former United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken and “the Biden administration tried to kill” Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian politician requested the U.S. Congress launch an investigation into the alleged plot to kill Putin as well as reported Biden-led schemes to assassinate President Donald Trump, Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico, and Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

“All of these around the administration of Biden and his henchmen,” Volodin said, adding, “Let Biden go with Blinken to the electric chair.”

He also suggested President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio should try and get to the bottom of Carlson’s claims.

Deranged Leftist Calls for Trump’s Assassination, Says Shooter Will be Pardoned: “We’re Not Doing That Grazing His Skin, His Ear Sh*t. We’re Going Full Blown Lincoln, Full Blown Kennedy”

A young black woman recently recorded a vulgar rant calling for the assassination of President Trump and falsely claiming that “maybe, if you shoot him, maybe the next president will give you a pardon for it, and you’ll be released out of jail.”

“We’re not doing that grazing his skin, his ear sh*t, okay? We’re going full-blown Lincoln, full-blown Kennedy right now,” the woman said.

“I don’t give a f*ck anymore. I mean, you obviously know that because I’m posting this,” she continues. “Someone get up there. I need someone with precision that knows what they’re doing.”

It is unclear exactly when the clip was recorded, but she references the attempted assassination of Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump was shot in the ear. She then suggests to someone who would be willing to kill Trump, “We need you right now at the White House.”

This woman needs to be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
