One dead after bomb explodes outside reproductive center in Downtown Palm Springs, police say it appears to be an “intentional act of violence”

One person is confirmed dead after an explosion rocked the American Reproductive Centers building on North Indian Canyon Drive near East Tachevah Drive just before 11 a.m. this morning. Regional news outlets have reported several injuries, but so far that has not been confirmed.

Lt. William Hutchinson with the Palm Springs Police Department confirms it was a bomb in or near a vehicle parked at the building.

Palm Springs Police Chief Andy Mills said in a statement, “The blast appears to be an intentional act of violence and the blast field extends for blocks with several buildings damaged-some severely. Mills confirmed the FBI is on scene.

“We’ve got a vehicle that appears to have exploded,” a Palm Springs Police Department official said moments ago. “It appears that we have a deceased person. … (E)verything’s in question whether this is an act of terrorism, or what it is.”

About two hours after the explosion, authorities expanded the safety zone, blocking off more parts of the street using SunLine Transit buses.

Matt Spencer, a resident who lives nearby at Sunset Palms apartment complex, ran outside with his dog Tippy as soon as he heard the explosion and reports he saw human remains and what was left of a car outside the building.

Spencer said he saw what looked like human remains in the middle of the road.

“In front of the building [the car] was blown clear across four lanes into the parking lot of [Desert Regional Medical Center],” Spencer said. “I could see the back of the car still on fire and the rims, that was the only thing that distinguishes it as a car.”

He also saw parts of the frame of a car and its suspension, and that it looked “completely disintegrated.”

“We Don’t Need Lessons in Democracy”: New German Chancellor Friedrich Merz SLAMS JD Vance – As German Government ARRESTS 6 Right-Wing Activists and Prevents their Travel

The new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has again slammed the Trump administration for “interference” in German democracy on the same day 6 right-wing German activists were arrested for wrong-think and prevented from traveling to a conference in Milano, Italy.

Speaking to leftist newspaper “Die Zeit“, Merz criticized Vice-President JD Vance’s courageous pro-freedom speech at the Munich Security Conference and recent posts from Vance and SecState Marco Rubio accusing Germany of “tyranny in disguise” for using the secret political police against the largest opposition party, the AfD.

“Of course, we are not heading toward “tyranny,” as we hear from the USA”, Merz said. “Such statements must be firmly rejected. Germany was liberated from tyranny by the USA, and today Germany is stable, liberal, and democratic. We don’t need any lessons in democracy (from the USA). That’s why JD Vance’s speech at the Munich Security Conference was perceived by many, including myself, as interference.”

On May 9, the parting Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (Social Democrats) had used a trumped-up “dossier” containing no evidence of illegal activity to slander the lagrest opposition party in Germany, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) as “confirmed far-right”, leading the push to ban the party, fire its members from governent jobs and deny it basic parliamentary rights.

10 million Germans voted for the AfD in February. Under pressure from an AfD lawsuit and US Senate Intelligence Committee chair Sen. Tom Cotton, the German secret police had to retract the label and remove the press release from its website.

On the same day Merz claimed not to need “any lessons in democracy” from the Trump administration, 6 right-wing activists belonging to the Generation Identity movement were apprehended by German police at Munich airport and taken into custody to prevent them from traveling to a “Remigration Summit” in Milano, Italy taking place on Saturday. Two of the activists were even taken off a plane they had already boarded, indicating the orders came urgently at the request of the “Conservative” Christian Democrat government in the State of Bavaria.

Chris Hansen Busts BLM Activist in Child Sex Sting

Cameras were rolling when veteran predator poacher Chris Hansen and his team busted a Black Lives Matter activist who was allegedly attempting to procure a child for sex.

Joining Fox News’ Jesse Watters, the “To Catch a Predator” star commented on his recent capture of Aston Mack, 35, a Florida activist who participated in and led several George Floyd protests in 2020.

Footage shows sheriff’s deputies raiding Mack’s residence and tackling him after he fled on foot.

“Can you grab my shoe?” the activist asked as he was hauled away, with officers denying his request.

“35-year-old Aston Mack, BLM activist, worked with challenged children in Orlando, claimed to me that he had the sex trafficking hotline number on his phone in his pocket and was just gonna help this girl out,” Hansen explained to Watters.

“But the texts tell a very different story,” Hansen added.

South Carolina trans activist arrested for threatening to assassinate Rep Nancy Mace

A trans activist in Greenville, South Carolina, has been arrested by state authorities after threatening to assassinate Rep. Nancy Mace. Samuel T. Cain, who uses the alias “Roxie,” was arrested by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and was booked on Thursday into the Greenville County Detention Center on suspicion of threatening the life of a public official.

A post allegedly made by Cain stated in all caps, “I’m going to assassinate Representative Nancy Mace with a gun and I’m being 100% dead a**.” The US Attorney’s Office for the District of South Carolina declined to prosecute.

Mace has been the target of assaults and threats of violence by left-wing agitators over her criticisms of the inclusion of trans-identified males in women’s spaces. In December, LGBTQ activist James McIntyre was arrested for assaulting a government official.

In November, a Portland, Ore., Antifa and transgender activist by the name of Andromeda Boyle, formerly known as Joshua Ryan Matthew Boyle, was seen issuing violent threats towards Mace.

Boyle said in an Instagram post in which Mace was tagged, “I hope that one day I do find you in that women’s bathroom, and I grab you by your ratty looking f*cking hair and drag your face down to the floor while I repeatedly bash it in until the blood’s everywhere and you’re dead.”

Report: Anti-Israel Activist Released by Obama-Appointed Judge Likes to ‘Kill Jews’

Mohsen Mahdawi, the Columbia University anti-Israel activist who was arrested and released from a deportation facility this week at the direction of an Obama-appointed judge, allegedly said that he likes to “kill Jews,” despite being painted as a “peaceful” protester by left-wing media.

Mahdawi, a 34-year-old Jordan-born green card holder, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on April 14 after he went to a Vermont immigration office to take a citizenship test, Breitbart News reported.

While the Columbia student’s attorney, Luna Droubi, claimed to the Intercept that he was “unlawfully detained today for no reason other than his Palestinian identity,” the Washington Free Beacon revealed his deep support of Hamas terrorism:

… Mahdawi, an undergraduate who was expected to enroll in a Columbia graduate program in the fall, has also said he “can empathize” with Hamas over the terrorist group’s Oct. 7 slaughter and has publicly called for the destruction of Israel. Last year, he honored a commander in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, a U.S.-designated terror group that participated in the attack alongside Hamas.

Most recently, Mahdawi served as co-president of Columbia’s Palestinian Students Union, a coalition of anti-Israel student groups, including Columbia’s suspended Students for Justice in Palestine and Jewish Voice for Peace chapters. The union has organized protests calling for Columbia’s divestment from Israel alongside Columbia University Apartheid Divest, the student organization behind the illegal encampments that plagued the school last spring and led to the violent storming of a campus building, Hamilton Hall.

Despite his Hamas support, the New York Times published a puff-piece on Mahdawi titled “He Wanted Peace in the Middle East. ICE Wants to Deport Him,” and he was released from deportation jail on Wednesday by Judge Geoffrey Crawford, a 2014 nominee of former President Barack Obama.

Activist-minister aiding teen killer Karmelo Anthony has his own lengthy rap sheet: reports

An activist representing accused teen killer Karmelo Anthony has a lengthy criminal history that includes a conviction on child abuse charges and allegations of domestic violence from a former romantic partner, according to past reports.

Minister Dominique Alexander, the appointed spokesperson for the alleged teen murderer, has previously been charged with multiple felonies for which he served almost zero prison time, according to local reports.

Back in 2009, Alexander was arrested for shaking and hitting the 2-year-old child of his then-girlfriend with an object, according to Fox 4 Dallas.

He was convicted of the charges in 2011, receiving two years of probation from a Dallas court.

However, in 2016, the activist was sentenced to two years in prison for multiple violations of that probation — but only served eight days in prison for two listed infractions of traveling out of state, according to the Dallas Morning News.

House Passes Rep. Darrell Issa’s No Rogue Rulings Act to Limit Rogue Activist District Court Judges – One Republican Joins Democrats and Votes “No”

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed Rep. Darrell Issa’s (R-CA) No Rogue Rulings Act, which will place restrictions on federal District Court judges from issuing nationwide injunctions.

One Republican, Rep. Mike Turner from Ohio, voted to empower activist judges.

The new law will stop a single district court judge, one out of 677 across the nation, from dictating policy for the entire country, as we’ve seen countless times from Trump-hating activist judges.

This comes after the Supreme Court vacated Judge James Boasberg’s orders barring the Trump Administration’s removals of Venezuelan gang members under the Alien Enemies Act. They ruled that Boasberg, as a single district court judge, lacked jurisdiction to dictate the President’s policy.

Senate Intelligence Committee Hearing on Global Threats Turns Into a McCarthy Hearing of Lies About CODEPINK

Yesterday, in the US Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on global threats with the five heads of intelligence agencies of the US government, Senator Tom Cotton, accused on national TV a group I have worked with for over 20 years, CODEPINK: Women for Peace, of being funded by the Communist Party of China.

During the hearing CODEPINK activist Tighe Barry stood up following the presentation of the Director of National Security Tulsi Gabbard’s lengthy statement about global threats to US national security and yelled ‘Stop Funding Israel,’ since neither Intelligence Committee Chair Tom Cotton and Vice Chair Mark Warner had mentioned Israel in their opening statement nor  had Gabbard mentioned the Israeli genocide of Palestinians in Gaza in her statement either.

As Capitol police were taking Barry out of the hearing room, in the horrific style of the McCarthy hearings in the 1950s, Cotton maliciously said that Barry was a “CODEPINK lunatic that was funded by the Communist party of China.”  Cotton then said if anyone had something to say to do so.

Refusing to buckle or be intimidated by Cotton’s lies about the funding of CODEPINK, I stood up and yelled, “I’m a retired Army Colonel and former diplomat. I work with CODEPINK and it is not funded by Communist China.”  I too was hauled out of the hearing room by Capitol police and arrested.

After I was taken out of the hearing room, Cotton libelously continued his McCarty lie, “The fact that Communist China funds CODEPINK which interrupts a hearing about Israel illustrates Director Gabbard’s point that China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are working together in greater concert than they ever had before.”

Senator Cotton does not appreciate the responsibility he has in his one-month-old elevation to the chair of the Senate’s intelligence committee.

Canadian activist Billboard Chris FORCIBLY ‘moved on’ in Brisbane

Canadian activist Chris Elston, widely known as Billboard Chris, has been forcibly moved on by Police in Brisbane, after initially suspecting he may have been arrested.

Elston, who has gained international attention for his opposition to woke transgender ideology, posted two videos online shortly before his claimed arrest, both without audio, suggesting technical issues.

He then tweeted, “I’m being arrested for having conversations in Brisbane,” alerting his over 400,000 followers on X to the unfolding situation.

The incident occurred while Elston was in Queensland’s capital talking to people on the streets. Video posts shared earlier showed police engaging with him, with one captioned, “Looks like I’m getting arrested in Brisbane,” followed by another indicating officers were debating whether to detain him. The lack of audio left viewers unable to discern the exact nature of the exchange.

Tesla owner Elon Musk took to X to support Elston, asking “are you ok?” in reply to his post about the incident.

Eslton later posted a full video of the interaction with authories showing the confrontation which led to officers moving him on from the mall area where he was talking to passers-by.

Wife of Activist Trump Wants to Deport Just Tried to Blow Up the Whole Case Against Him

Mahmoud Khalil, the Columbia University anti-Israel activist whom the Trump administration has targeted for deportation, has become a darling of the left, as people who hate America so often do. The New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) claimed Friday that Khalil’s arrest “has created a speech-chilling atmosphere of fear” and charges that “the Trump administration’s actions represent a dangerous escalation of the president’s attempts to choke off the free speech rights of people on American soil.” And on Sunday, Khalil’s wife attempted to blow up the entire case against him, asserting that it was “ridiculous” and “disgusting” to say that Khalil supports Hamas.

This is all-important because if Khalil is found to be a Hamas supporter, the case against him would be nearly open and shut. U.S. Code § 1182 states that “any alien” who is “a representative” of “a political, social, or other group that endorses or espouses terrorist activity” is “inadmissible.” U.S. Code § 1227 adds that such an alien “is deportable.” The Associated Press described Khalil two weeks ago as one of the “student leaders of Columbia University Apartheid Divest” (CUAD). The Washington Post reported last Tuesday that “No one disputes that Khalil was the face of Columbia University Apartheid Divest.”

Khalil was CUAD’s chief negotiator with Columbia administrators. Politico explained: “Khalil was a lead negotiator representing the student protesters to the Columbia administration during the school’s ‘Gaza Solidarity Encampment’ last spring. The student group behind the encampment — Columbia University Apartheid Divest, or CUAD — had two main demands: that Columbia cut all its ties to Israel, including divesting and halting plans to build a ‘global center’ in Tel Aviv, and that the protesters themselves receive amnesty for their actions.”

However, apparently aware of how damaging that fact is to his case, Khalil himself disputes this. The BBC framed Khalil’s connection to CUAD as if it were merely something his opponents claimed: “Activists supporting Israel have accused Mr Khalil of being a leader of Columbia University Apartheid Divest (Cuad), a student group that demanded, among other things, the university to divest from its financial ties to Israel and a ceasefire in Gaza. Mr Khalil has denied that he led the group, telling the Associated Press (AP) that he only served as a spokesperson for protesters and as a mediator with the university.”

It’s easy to see why Khalil would want to distance himself from CUAD. In August 2024, it posted this on Instagram, then removed it once it started getting appalled notice from saner quarters: “We are Westerners fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization.” During the anti-Israel protests at Columbia, the demonstrators screamed “Death to America.”
