New York School District Says Students Must Show Proof Of Vaccination In Order To Attend Prom And Graduation
Massena Central High School in New York is forcing students to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID tests in order to attend prom or graduation.
The principal of the school, Alan C. Oliver, has given the students a deadline for getting the vaccine in order to be clear to attend.
“The prom is scheduled for June 12. Graduation has been scheduled for June 25, with a rain date of June 26. Anyone attending those events must show proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 testing,” NNY360 reports.
“Mr. Oliver said, if students wanted to be vaccinated, they had the choice of three types —Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. Each had its own timeline that needed to be followed.”
In order to have the right to attend the milestone events, students would need to complete all required shots of whichever vaccine they took.

A Michigan high school created a two-tiered price structure for its prom this year: $80 for unvaccinated students and free for those who have received a coronavirus vaccine.
Southfield Regional Academic Campus’s prom is scheduled for June 14, according to a listing of 2021 graduation events…
The information from the school district says “fully vaccinated” attendees attend for “free,” while “not vaccinated” students and guests are charged $80.
“It’s not a violation of the law as we are not requiring individuals to receive the vaccine nor are we prohibiting those without a vaccine from attending,” Superintendent Jennifer Martin-Green said in an email to a resident.
Green’s email concluded with a disclaimer:
Southfield Public Schools does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, age, height, weight, marital status, genetic information or any other legally protected characteristic, in its programs and activities, including employment opportunities.
Breitbart News asked Green if the two-tiered price structure would be a form of discrimination, and she did not respond.

Garrison also said that technology was responsible for the spread of disinformation, which to some, is any information they don’t like.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) lifted face mask recommendations for vaccinated people Thursday.
“Fully vaccinated people,” the CDC wrote, may “resume activities without wearing masks or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.”
Lockdown advocates and leftists who adopted the face mask as a political marker, however, despite full vaccination, pledged to maintain their obedience to strict pandemic mask protocols for fear of even the slightest appearance of association with conservatives they hold in contempt.
This idea to engage in such self-restriction was first mocked online after the CDC relaxed recommendations for vaccinated people outdoors. The DCist published an anonymous “Overheard in D.C.” post which featured an individual conceding the face mask is unnecessary but added, “I really don’t want people to think I’m a Republican.”

This 38-Year-Old Man Will Spend Life in Prison Over 1.5 Ounces of Marijuana
Reminder: People are still sentenced to life in prison for marijuana possession. With so many states choosing to legalize marijuana, it’s easy to forget how draconian the penalties for possession can still be. Case in point: The Mississippi Court of Appeals just upheld a life sentence for 38-year-old Allen Russell for being in possession of about one and a half ounces of the drug.
Russell was sentenced in 2019, after being convicted for having 1.55 ounces (or about 44 grams) of marijuana. On appeal, Russell’s lawyers argued that his life sentence amounts to “cruel and unusual punishment and is grossly disproportionate.”
In general, “possession of between 30 and 250 grams is a felony punishable by a maximum of 3 years imprisonment and/or a maximum fine of $3,000” in Mississippi, according to the drug policy group National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML).
But this sentence can increase drastically if a person has previous felony convictions.
