Trump administration working on plan to move 1 million Palestinians to Libya

The Trump administration is working on a plan to permanently relocate up to 1 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya, five people with knowledge of the effort told NBC News.

The plan is under serious enough consideration that the administration has discussed it with Libya’s leadership, two people with direct knowledge of the plans and a former U.S. official said.

In exchange for the resettling of Palestinians, the administration would potentially release to Libya billions of dollars of funds that the U.S. froze more than a decade ago, those three people said.

No final agreement has been reached, and Israel has been kept informed of the administration’s discussions, the same three sources said.

The State Department and the National Security Council did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Basem Naim, a senior Hamas official, said that Hamas, the U.S.-designated terrorist group that has run Gaza, was not aware of any discussions about moving Palestinians to Libya.

“Palestinians are very rooted in their homeland, very strongly committed to the homeland and they are ready to fight up to the end and to sacrifice anything to defend their land, their homeland, their families, and the future of their children,” Naim said in response to questions from NBC News. “[Palestinians] are exclusively the only party who have the right to decide for the Palestinians, including Gaza and Gazans, what to do and what not to do.”

Representatives of the Israeli government declined to comment.

Members Of Congress Want Federal Investigation Into Use Of Florida Medicaid Funds To Oppose Marijuana Legalization By Group Tied To DeSantis

Two Democratic members of Congress representing Florida are asking the federal government to investigate what they describe as “potentially unlawful diversion” of millions in state Medicaid funds via a group with ties to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R). The money was used to fight against a citizen ballot initiative, vehemently opposed by DeSantis, that would have legalized marijuana for adults.

Reps. Kathy Castor and Darren Soto sent a letter on Thursday to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) inspector general as well as Mehmet Oz, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, formally requesting they initiate a Medicaid fraud investigation.

“The diversion of Medicaid dollars requires immediate investigation,” the two lawmakers wrote. “These are proceeds that rightfully belong to state taxpayers to serve the citizens who rely on Medicaid, including children, pregnant women, neighbors with disabilities and those served by long-term care.”

The two lawmakers, members of a House committee with oversight of Medicaid, emphasized that Congress is “very focused on waste, fraud and abuse of Medicaid dollars.”

“Any unlawful diversion of Medicaid dollars in Florida,” they wrote, “means that the state is less able to provide services to our neighbors who rely on Medicaid and the providers who serve them.”

The letter follows allegations that a $10 million donation from a state legal settlement was improperly made to the Hope Florida Foundation, which later sent the money to two political nonprofits, which in turn sent $8.5 million to a campaign opposing the proposed marijuana legalization ballot measure, Amendment 3.

Notably, the Hope Florida Foundation was founded by Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis, the governor’s wife.

“On October 17, Secure Florida’s Future donated $2 million to Keep Florida Clean Inc., a Political Action Committee (PAC) controlled by Governor DeSantis’s then-chief of staff James Uthmeier that was created to campaign against Amendment 3,” the lawmakers’ new letter says. “Governor DeSantis strongly opposed Amendment 3. Days later, Secure Florida’s Future sent Keep Florida Clean Inc. an additional $1.75 million.”

“On October 22, the Hope Florida Foundation wired $5 million to the 501(c)4 nonprofit Save Our Society from Drugs that proposed spending the ‘grant’ on ‘developing and implementing strategies that directly address the substance use crisis facing our communities,’” it continues, detailing the alleged impropriety. “On October 23, the next day, Save Our Society from Drugs donated $1.6 million to Keep Florida Clean Inc. Over the coming days, Save Our Society from Drugs donated an additional $3.15 million to Keep Florida Clean Inc.”

“While there are limited financial disclosure requirements associated with 501(c)4 organizations,” the lawmakers said, “records appear to show that a total of $8.5 million from the Centene settlement with AHCA went from the Hope Florida Foundation to the Amendment 3-focused Keep Florida Clean, Inc. PAC, the same PAC that also donated funding to the Republican Party of Florida and the Florida Freedom Fund. ”

“Hope Florida had raised only about $2 million during its three years of existence,” they pointed out, “but in one fell swoop, received $10 million from a Medicaid settlement, which was immediately funneled through other nonprofits to a PAC directed by the Governor’s Chief of Staff.”

Justice Department to Announce Charges against Democrat Rep LaMonica McIver for Assaulting ICE Agents

The Justice Department is set to announce charges against Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver as early as today after she assaulted ICE agents at the Delaney Hall ICE facility last Friday.

Rep. McIver is expected to turn herself in this afternoon, the New Jersey Globe reported.

The New Jersey Globe reported:

The Justice Department plans to bring charges against Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-Newark) following a scuffle with federal immigration agents last week at Newark’s Delaney Hall detention center, three sources speaking on the condition of anonymity confirmed to the New Jersey Globe.

Much is still unknown about the case against the freshman congresswoman, but interim U.S. Attorney Alina Habba could announce charges as early as today. McIver may turn herself in this afternoon, the New Jersey Globe learned; she’ll be represented by Paul Fishman, the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey during the Obama administration.

ICE bodycam footage showed Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically assaulting federal agents at a detention facility in Newark.

USAID: Hungary Claims U.S. and EU Gave over $63 Million to Anti-Orbán Media in Bid to Topple Government

The head of Budapest’s Office for the Protection of Sovereignty claimed that tens of millions of dollars from the United States and the European Union have funded left-leaning media institutions over the past three years, with the intent of overthrowing the conservative government of Viktor Orbán in Hungary.

Supposedly independent media outlets in Hungary have been propped up by money from the now-axed United States Agency for International Development (USAID), other State Department programmes, as well as from the European Commission, Tamás Lánczi said this week.

The top man at the Office for the Protection of Sovereignty said that the globalist influence schemes were intended fund “propaganda” in the hopes of toppling the government of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, one of the leading opponents of the neo-liberal open borders and socially far-left agendas favoured by elites in Brussels and Washington.

According to Lánczi, the American government and the European Commission — the executive arm of the EU — gave over HUF 23 billion ($63.5 million) to media outlets, which he claimed were in fact political pressure groups, over the past three years, alone.

“It’s not micro-donations, it’s not reader support, it’s not a voluntary offering, it’s money from foreign powers… It’s not charity, it’s a HUF 23 billion foreign intervention. This money was used to buy media workers, activists and politicians,” he said per the Magyar Nemzet newspaper.

The watchdog said the majority of the funding came from the European Commission, accounting for HUF 19.5 billion ($54 million) of the total. However, Lánczi said that USAID — under the Biden administration — directed HUF 3.5 billion ($9.7 million) to fund anti-Orbán media.

4 Vaccines for Pregnant Women? Doctors and Scientists Explain Why CDC Recommendation Is Dangerous

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends pregnant women get at least four vaccines: COVID-19, flu, whooping cough and respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV. Critics say the shots provide questionable benefit while posing known risks — including increased miscarriage rates and exposure to neurotoxins.

According to the CDC, maternal vaccines are important “because pregnant women and their babies can get sick from diseases like COVID-19, flu, RSV and more.”

What the CDC doesn’t say is that if a pregnant woman gets a vaccine, there is a 100% chance that she will be exposed to vaccine ingredients that may harm her and her baby, according to Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., Children’s Health Defense senior research scientist.

“There is a probability of disease exposure during pregnancy — but toxic exposure is assured with vaccination,” Jablonowski said. “Vaccines work by antagonizing the body with toxins, toxoids and other antigens to elicit an immune response. Pregnant women in modern medicine are trapped between fear and hazards.”

Dr. Peter McCullough, a cardiologist and author of more than 1,000 publications, said that vaccines “are not medically necessary nor clinically indicated” during a healthy woman’s pregnancy.

“The downsides of vaccination during pregnancy can be serious,” McCullough said. “Vaccine-induced inflammation and fever can provoke a miscarriage, stillbirth or premature delivery, leaving the baby to face all the problems of being a ‘preemie.’”

That’s why many women tell their obstetricians they want to go “natural” and not take risks that come with vaccination, McCullough added.

Still, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists endorses the CDC’s recommendation that pregnant women get the COVID-19, RSV, Tdap and flu vaccines.

Dem Rep. Shri Thanedar Faces Backlash, Embarrassment Over Trump Impeachment Push

A Democratic lawmaker’s push to impeach President Donald Trump has drawn criticism from both sides of the aisle and sparked questions about his own grasp of basic facts within his district.

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI), a first-term member of Congress from Michigan, announced in late April that he would introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump.

The move came without support from Democratic leadership and has quickly become a source of controversy and ridicule, even among his own party.

Thanedar’s announcement followed an earlier statement by Rep. Al Green (D-TX), who had also vowed to introduce impeachment articles against President Trump by the end of April. Green, however, failed to follow through on his promise.

With Thanedar now taking the lead, the effort has failed to gain traction and has drawn quiet opposition from fellow House Democrats.

According to multiple reports, some Democratic lawmakers have privately dismissed Thanedar’s actions as unserious and potentially damaging to the party’s broader agenda.

Several Democrats are reportedly prepared to vote against the articles if they are brought to the floor, with some referring to the move as a “stunt.”

GOOD NEWS: Health Secretary RFK Jr. to End COVID Vaccine Recommendations for Children, Teens, and Pregnant Women

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., long demonized by the corporate media and Big Tech for daring to question vaccine safety, now finds himself at the helm of one of the most powerful agencies in the federal government — and he’s using that power to protect America’s most vulnerable.

The HHS is reportedly going to eliminate the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendations for routine COVID-19 vaccinations for children, teenagers, and pregnant women, according to the Wall Street Journal.

This decision reflects the Trump administration’s commitment to the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) agenda.

On Monday, FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary revealed that the agency is actively re-evaluating the inclusion of COVID-19 shots on the childhood vaccination schedule

Appearing on The Charlie Kirk Show, Dr. Makary said the FDA would not be rubber-stamping another round of COVID boosters for young, healthy children, stating unequivocally: “That evidence does not exist.”

“I’d love to see the evidence to show that giving young, healthy children another COVID shot, a sixth COVID booster, would help them. But that evidence does not exist. And so we’re not just going to rubber stamp things at the FDA,” Makary said.

He continued, “I know they are trying to review all of the scientific data. And guess what? There’s no data, there’s no good COVID-19 randomized control data, that the current version, the latest formulation of the COVID shot, is necessary for young healthy children.”

EU nations seek mandatory social media age checks

France, Spain, and Greece are advocating for mandatory age verification on social media platforms such as Meta’s Facebook and Elon Musk’s X, Bloomberg reported on Friday.

The proposed rules would require all internet-connected devices to be equipped with age verification technology. Digital services ministers from the three EU member states are coordinating the initiative ahead of a meeting with their counterparts from the bloc on June 6, a document cited by Bloomberg said.

The three nations reportedly argue that the “lack of proper and widespread age-verification mechanisms” makes it difficult to effectively enforce age limits. They aim to leverage the economic power of the EU’s 450 million consumers to compel tech companies to implement robust verification systems, according to the report.

French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed on Tuesday his support for mandatory age verification for teenagers registering on social media platforms, stating that online networks have contributed to suffering and mental health issues among young people.

“We must protect our children,” he told TF1, adding that age verification on social networks should be imposed.

According to Bloomberg, the European Commission, along with several bloc members, is already developing pilot projects to boost parental controls and age verification. However, their efforts are being hindered by regulatory differences across EU countries and the ease with which users can access social networks from outside the bloc.

Gov. Abbott Requests Waiver to Ban Unhealthy SNAP Purchases in Texas

Gov. Greg Abbott has formally requested a waiver from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to prohibit the use of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits for the purchase of unhealthy foods, such as soda and candy.

The move, announced in a letter sent to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, marks a significant push to reshape the nutritional standards of SNAP purchases in Texas.

SNAP, formerly known as food stamps, is the largest federal nutrition assistance program, helping over 41 million Americans afford groceries each year. While the program’s stated goal is to increase access to nutritious food, critics argue that a substantial portion of SNAP benefits are currently spent on items with little or no nutritional value.

USDA data cited by Texas lawmakers indicates that about 20 percent of SNAP dollars go toward sugary drinks and snack foods, with sweetened beverages alone accounting for 9.3 percent of expenditures.

Abbott’s letter emphasizes that SNAP was created to promote nutrition and health, but instead “many SNAP purchases are for food with little to no nutritious value.” He wrote that the waiver would ensure “taxpayer dollars are used only to purchase healthy, nutritious food.”

President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful” Bill FAILS in Committee After Five House Republicans Vote NO – Largest Tax Increase in American History Looms

The Trump agenda suffered a major setback today after a handful of Republicans voted a key bill delivering it down in committee. Now, the largest tax increase in American history looms unless the GOP does an about-face.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the House Republicans on the Ways and Means Committee—led by Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO)—previously released the text of a monumental new tax reform package titled “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill.”

The bill, strongly backed by President Donald Trump, is aimed at delivering historic cuts to American families, workers, and small businesses.

The 389-page bill includes a long list of pro-growth, America-First provisions that echo many of the successful features of the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts—this time with added firepower. This includes no taxes on tips and overtime.

But five GOPers in the House Budget Committee shot it down primarily over cost concerns. One particular gripe was the Medicaid “cuts” and the expiration of several wasteful ‘green’ energy tax credits were pushed back several years, while most of the “goodies” were delivered up front.

The final vote was 16-21 against. Here were the Republicans who voted against the President’s agenda:

Rep. Andrew Clyde of Georgia

Rep. Chip Roy of Texas

Rep. Josh Brecheen of Oklahoma

Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina

Rep. Lloyd Smucker of Pennsylvania
