EPA cancelling $7B in community solar grants, Dems call it ‘illegal’

The Environmental Protection Agency has announced it will claw back $7 billion in already earmarked funds from the Solar for All community grants and then eliminate the program, a move that Democrats claim is against the law.

“This money was intended for our constituents and communities to help lower energy bills,” Energy and Commerce Committee Ranking Member Frank Pallone, D-N.J., stated Friday. “Clawing these funds back isn’t just brazenly illegal – it’s a betrayal by this Administration of working families who will now pay higher energy bills just so Republicans can grind their axe against clean energy.”

The repeal of the program, however, directly implements orders from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which President Donald Trump signed into law a month ago. Among multiple other green energy policies, the OBBBA repeals the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, which the Solar for All program falls under.

The program, funded by taxpayer dollars via the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, has already promised funds to 60 grant recipients across the U.S. The money was meant for the creation or expansion of solar programs meant to lower electricity bills for approximately 900,000 low-income households and increase their access to solar-produced energy.

The abrupt rescinding of the funds, though allowed for by law, will disrupt plans in 49 states. However, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said that “very little money” has actually been spent and that recipients are still “very much in the early planning phase, not the building and construction process.”

“But the bottom line again is this: EPA no longer has the authority to administer the program or the appropriated funds to keep this boondoggle alive,” Zeldin added.

Republicans targeted dozens of similar federal green energy programs and grants in the OBBBA, arguing that such subsidies create a false demand for unreliable sources of electricity that have minimal positive impact on the environment.

The Solar for All program in particular wasted taxpayer dollars, Zeldin said, by diluting the billions of dollars through pass-through entities, with middlemen taking a 15% cut of total funds “by conservative estimates.”

Additionally, the program received an exemption from the Build America, Buy America law, which requires federal agencies to use American workers, products and infrastructure for projects funded by American taxpayers.

States including Ohio, Illinois, Arizona, Missouri, Virginia and Michigan had each been awarded more than $100 million from the Solar for All program and have already planned on how to disperse the promised funds.

Democratic governors were quick to condemn the EPA’s decision, with Gov. Tony Evers of Wisconsin – which received over $62 million worth of grants – deeming it “unnecessary,” as The Center Square reported.

Kamala Harris Colluded With Planned Parenthood to Cover Up Aborted Baby Part Sales

Five newly-released undercover videos show Texas-based Planned Parenthood abortionists describing how they abort late-term babies alive and then dismember them to avoid the federal partial-birth abortion law and then sell the baby body parts for profit. Liberty Counsel’s client Sandra Merritt, and David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress, filmed the videos in 2015 during an undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood. Then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris investigated and charged Merritt and Daleiden while the videos were blocked from public release by a court order. The videos have now been released after a congressional subpoena cleared the way for public viewing.

In March 2024, a U.S. Congressional panel held an independent hearing for the purpose of “investigating the black market of baby organ harvesting” through abortion. During the hearing, independent investigator David Daleiden presented graphic videos and testimony on how the “industrial-scale abortion business” brokers lucrative deals for fetal organs taken from live babies by dismembering viable babies in utero to “skirt” partial-birth abortion laws. On July 30, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who chaired the panel, released the full versions of the subpoenaed videos.

The videos reveal two conversations between undercover reporters and Planned Parenthood officials at the 2015 National Abortion Federation commercial trade show. In one video, Dr. Ann Schutt-Aine, the Chief Medical Officer of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, explained how to keep baby body parts intact while avoiding violating partial birth abortion (PBA) law, which prohibits killing a baby if any part of its body below the navel is outside the mother’s body.

Jeffrey Epstein’s Longtime Butler Says There is ‘No Way’ He Killed Himself — Was Confident of Securing Bail Before His Death

Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime butler has said there is “no way” the pedophile financier killed himself in prison.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Epstien’s butler of 18 years, Valdson Vieira Cotrin, said that Epstein “loved life too much” and was confident of securing bail before his apparent suicide.

“I am like his brother, “ he explained. “I don’t believe this was suicide. He loved life too much.”

However, Cotrin also appeared to be in denial about Epstein’s litany of sexual crimes.

“I was his chauffeur, his cook, his housekeeper,” he continued. “I did everything in Paris, I was his only full-time, paid-up employee and worked for him from 2001 until his death.”

“If someone could have seen something, it’s Valdson, there’s no one else.”

Cotrin’s partner Maria Gomes de Melo, who also knew Epstein personally, shares her husband’s view that there was foul play at hand.

“On the Saturday late, we got the news that he had hanged himself, and honestly, he loved life too much to float away like that,” she said.

FBI Director Kash Patel recently insisted during an interview on Joe Rogan that he accepted the official report that Epstein had indeed commited suicide, although this detail remains highly disputed.

“We’ve reviewed all the information, and the American public is going to get as much as we can release,” Patel said at the time. “He killed himself,”

“I’m working my ass off along with the leadership at the Bureau and DOJ to get you what we’re allowed to give you.”

”And you’re gonna get the video of the cell, and you’re gonna see for yourself, and we will never be able to convince everyone.”

COVID mRNA vaccines create ‘numerous off-target products’ that get stuck in heart cells: study

When Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shifted nearly $500 million designated for mRNA vaccine development to “safer, broader vaccine platforms that remain effective even as viruses mutate,” predictable wailing followed from the public health establishment and mainstream media but also some old-guard conservatives.

National Review editors praised COVID-19 vaccines for their belatedly alleged protections against severe outcomes, citing President Biden’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the claim they reduced hospitalization and death by 70% among those vaccinated, even as the editors acknowledged the virus naturally became “less severe over time.”

The publication’s intern even called COVID vaccines, whose inability to stop infection and transmission was known to then-CDC Director Rochelle Walensky a month after emergency use authorization, “the most phenomenal medical breakthrough of the 21st century.”

Yet peer-reviewed global research keeps identifying severe adverse events following mRNA vaccination in some groups at low risk from COVID, and a German-led paper in the official journal of the International Union of Immunological Societies offers a causal explanation.

“Our findings reveal that numerous off-target products are produced by mRNA-based corona vaccines following translation of the encoded spike monomers,” said researchers affiliated with institutes on physiology, medical informatics, pharmacology and “Molecular and Translational Therapeutic Strategies” in Germany and Hungary.

“These off-target products may be responsible for both acute vaccination reactions and long-term side effects,” says their Frontiers in Immunology abstract for the paper, accepted July 22, whose “final, formatted version” will be published “soon.”

The research is making small waves on X in several languages. “BOMBSHELL STUDY,” proclaimed Utah doctor Kirk Moore, who faced 35 years in prison on charges of throwing away COVID vaccine doses and distributing fraudulent vaccination record cards.

Attorney General Pam Bondi dropped Moore’s case, initiated by the Biden administration, shortly after the trial started last month, preempting his jury-nullification plan to obtain hidden records allegedly showing the neat overlap between COVID vaccination and deaths.

Kennedy’s mRNA funding redirect is the “first real policy course correction in a vaccine ecosystem that had drifted from science into speculative biotech fantasy,” said former Ecohealth Alliance Vice President Andrew Huff, whose nonprofit passed U.S. taxpayer money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and claims the lab “developed” SARS-CoV-2.

TX Judge Slaps Beto O’Rourke With Fundraising Ban Over Fleeing Democrats

A Texas judge has issued a temporary restraining order against former congressman Beto O’Rourke and his nonprofit organization, Powered by People, following allegations from state Attorney General Ken Paxton that they engaged in illegal fundraising to aid Democratic lawmakers who fled the state in an effort to block Republican redistricting legislation.

Tarrant County District Judge Megan Fahey, a Republican appointed in 2019 by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, issued the ruling Friday evening.

The order prohibits O’Rourke and his group from raising funds or providing financial support to the Democrats who left Texas to avoid a legislative vote on GOP-backed redistricting maps.

In her decision, Fahey wrote that “Defendants have and will continue to engage in unlawful fundraising practices and utilization of political funds in a manner that either directly violates or causes Texas Democratic Legislators to violate [the law].

Consumers have and continue to suffer irreparable harm through these unlawful acts because they are making political contributions that are being used to fund personal expenses and violate state law.”

Former Washington Post ‘Fact Checker’ Can Only Stammer When He’s Confronted About Paper’s Bias

Former Washington Post “fact checker” Glenn Kessler found himself on the receiving end of some overdue accountability this week.

In a revealing interview on Mark Halperin’s “What’s Next” podcast on Thursday, Kessler, who worked with the Washington Post for 27 years, squirmed and stammered his way through a series of straightforward questions about liberal media bias.

He was oblivious to such bias.

Halperin, to his great credit, asked the kinds of questions conservative Americans have been asking for more than a generation.

“My theory would be [that] … you attract a lot of liberal readers because your reporters are hostile to Republicans more than Democrats,” Halperin said, before asking his guest how he interpreted the theory.

“Yes, I completely reject it,” Kessler replied, before stumbling through a rambling defense of The Washington Post’s editorial tone.

“Uh, I think, um, uh — that … I mean, how to … how — how to —  how to — I’m — how to phrase this?” he said.

No line more accurately summed up the cadence of the interview than that one.

Kessler laughably claimed the Washington Post was just as hard on former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton as it has been on President Donald Trump.

Biden-Era COVID Vaccine Mandate Records Erased in Donald Trump Rollback

The Trump administration has directed all federal agencies to delete records related to employees’ COVID-19 vaccination status, any noted noncompliance with pandemic-era mandates, and requests for vaccine exemptions.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issued the directive Friday in a memo to department and agency heads, instructing them to eliminate both physical and electronic vaccine-related records from personnel files.

The policy change takes effect immediately.

WaPo Fact Checker Gets Called Out to His Face Over Joe Biden Mental Decline Cover-Up

A recent interview between political journalist Mark Halperin and former Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler has reignited discussion over media bias and whether major news outlets avoided directly addressing questions about Joe Biden’s cognitive health.

The conversation, part of Halperin’s Next Up series with prominent podcasters, focused heavily on Kessler’s 2022 fact check defending Biden after several videos showing unusual public behavior gained traction in conservative media.

The clips, widely circulated at the time, depicted Biden appearing distracted, confused, or disoriented during official events.

One of the most viral moments occurred when Biden appeared to wander away during a ceremony before engaging with members of a parachute demonstration team.

Critics pointed to the footage as further evidence of mental decline, but Kessler’s fact check concluded the Republican National Committee’s framing was misleading and asserted that Biden had, in fact, been speaking with the parachutists.

Halperin pressed Kessler on the impact of such reporting.

“When you write that, people say the Washington Post is saying that video is not reflective of Joe Biden’s cognitive decline. That’s what people take from it,” Halperin told him.

Child advocate blames Democrat governor for 6th child death related to family safety dept: ‘There is blood on the governor’

The tragic death of another child in New Mexico has prompted a child advocate to blame the governor and the children’s safety agency that had been warned about the threat.

Vanessa Chavez was charged with child abuse resulting in death after her 18-month-old daughter was found unresponsive and died after 20 minutes of CPR, Albuquerque police said. The girl’s death is the sixth in only four months of incidents that involved the state’s Children, Youth & Families Department, according to KOB-TV.

New Mexico Child First Network founder Maralyn Beck said the death was preventable and places the blame squarely on the governor as well as the child safety agency.

“Every single one of these deaths was preventable,” Beck said to KOB.

She added: “This is on the governor. There is blood on the governor at this point.”

The child had been taken away from Chavez when she was born premature because the girl had been drug-exposed. KOB reports that the girl was returned to the parents for a trial period and died soon afterward.

“One call to child protective services in a functioning system should save the life of a child,” an emotional Beck said. “One single call. That’s a functioning system, and we don’t have that.”

KOB put the criticism to Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, and she said that it would be a priority for her office as she nears the end of her term but admitted that the agency had troubles.

“You’re chasing your tail, and we’ve been chasing our tail for decades,” she said.

When asked if she was going to make progress in the 18 months she has left, she responded, “We’re gonna make some damn important progress, yes sir.”

Neo-Nazi gets maximum sentence in terror plot to destroy Maryland’s power grid

Brandon Clint Russell, the leader of a neo-Nazi group, had nothing to say before a judge handed down the maximum 20-year sentence for his role in a white supremacist plot to destroy Maryland’s power grid.

Baltimore District Court Judge James K. Bredar also ordered lifetime supervision for Russell once he is released.

Bredar called the Florida man “the brains” behind the chilling plan to destroy five Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE)substations in and around Baltimore and create a political revolution.

The judge said Russell wanted to create a “bizarre utopia… where everyone looked like him.”

Earlier this year, a jury found Russell guilty of conspiring to destroy the regional power grid.

Judge Bredar called Russell “profoundly dangerous” and said he wanted “to engender terror, fear, and chaos.”

The judge also said Russell has “significant mental health issues.”

“With the guidelines being what they are, yes, we were prepared for this,” said Ian Goldstein, Russell’s lawyer.

When WJZ Investigator Mike Hellgren asked Goldstein whether his client was dangerous, he replied, “He’s always been very nice to me.”
