Dismembered body found in singer D4vd’s abandoned Tesla ID’d as teen girl

The dismembered corpse found rotting in Bronx-born singer D4vd’s abandoned Tesla in California was identified as a teenage girl, Los Angeles authorities confirmed on Tuesday.

The female victim, whose identity wasn’t announced pending her family’s notification, was between 14 and 15 years old, sources told ABC 7.

The petite teen, standing at 5 feet 2 inches, was previously described as having wavy black hair and weighing around 71 pounds — roughly 20 pounds less than an average girl of her stature should weigh.

She was found wearing a tube top with black leggings and a yellow bracelet with similar metal stud earrings. She also had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…”

Her body was wrapped in plastic and locked in the Tesla’s trunk, where her corpse baked in the California heat for at least five days. The body was so badly decomposed that it wasn’t fully intact and was first reported to authorities because the car itself started to emit a “foul odor.”

D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, found himself at the center of the gruesome discovery after authorities linked the impounded, Texas-plated Tesla back to him. Burke has been cooperating with police as he continues his world tour.

‘Nihilistic Violent Extremism’ Spreads: FBI’s Patel Confirms 1,700 Domestic Terrorism Cases Being Investigated

Over the last few months, we have routinely brought readers’ attention to the rise of so-called ‘nihilistic violent extremism’ in America (here and here most recently):

Nihilistic violent extremism refers to acts of violence driven by a belief in the meaninglessness or futility of existence, often rejecting societal norms, values, or institutions.

It’s rooted in nihilism, a philosophy that denies inherent meaning or purpose in life, but when paired with violent extremism, it manifests as destructive acts aimed at disrupting or dismantling systems perceived as meaningless or oppressive.

Individuals or groups engaging in this type of extremism may target governments, communities, or symbols of authority, often with no clear alternative vision or goal beyond destruction.

Unlike ideological extremism (e.g., driven by religious or political motives), nihilistic violent extremism lacks a constructive agenda and may be fueled by despair, alienation, or a desire to impose chaos.

And now, as Jack Phillips reports via The Epoch Times, FBI Director Kash Patel has brought the term into the mainstream.

Patel confirmed on Tuesday that the bureau is investigating more than 1,700 domestic terrorism cases, as he was speaking before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“We have 3500 international terrorism investigations … 1700 domestic terrorism investigations, a large chunk of which are nihilistic violent extremism … those who engage in violent acts motivated by a deep hatred of society,” Patel told lawyers in a prepared statement.

The FBI has experienced a “300% increase in cases opened this year alone versus the same time last year.”

ABC News reporter swoons over romance between Charlie Kirk assassin and trans roommate: ‘very touching’

An ABC reporter who was in attendance at a press briefing in Utah where charges against the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination were detailed claimed that the text messages between the alleged killer and his transgender romantic partner were “very touching.” In those messages, Tyler Robinson urged his lover Lance Twiggs to destroy evidence to help cover up his connection to the killing.

Matt Gutman told viewers “we have seen an alleged murderer with such specific text messages about the alleged murder weapon, where it was hidden, how it was placed, what was on it.

“But also it was very touching, in a way that I think many of us didn’t expect, a very intimate portrait into this relationship between the suspect’s roommate and the suspect himself, with him repeatedly calling his roommate, who was transitioning, calling him ‘my love’, and ‘I want to protect you my love.’

“So it was this duality of someone who, the attorney said, not only jeopardized the life of Charlie Kirk and the crowd, but was doing it in front of children, which is one of the aggravating circumstances of this case. And on the other hand, he was, you know, speaking so lovingly about his partner. So a very interesting… riveting press conference.”

Since a suspect was named, there has been an effort among mainstream media outlets to paint him as a person on the far-right wing and now that this narrative has been proven false by investigators, ABC takes the view that the alleged killer was a loving partner to his trans boyfriend.

Trump reveals secret third blast against Venezuelan boats as intensifying drug war prompts talk of invasion

American forces have blasted three Venezuelan vessels out of Caribbean waters in recent weeks, President Donald Trump told reporters Tuesday, revealing the expanding scope of his military campaign against  ‘narco-terrorists.’

The commander-in-chief posted a video to his Truth Social account on Monday evening showing U.S. military action against a Venezuelan boat in the Caribbean.

It was the second apparent operation against what the administration claims are narcotic traffickers bound for America.

But not even a day later, the president divulged that an additional third strike was carried out on a ship after receiving a question about rising tensions with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

‘We knocked off, actually three boats, not two, but you saw two,’ the president said on the White House‘s front lawn just before departing for the U.K. with his wife, Melania Trump.

‘And the problem is, there are very few boats out in the water. There are not a lot of boats out in the water. I can’t imagine why. Not even fishing boats. Nobody wants to go take a fish,’ the president continued.

The video Trump posted on Monday evening shows a boat out at sea before being engulfed in flames following a military strike. Three confirmed narcotics traffickers were killed in the operation, the president claims.

The Trump administration is restricting congressional oversight of recent military strikes on Venezuelan vessels by barring senior House staffers from classified briefings, according to The Intercept.

Charlie Kirk; Or How the Right Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Cancel Culture

Since the assassination of Charlie Kirk last week the theories have been flying thick and fast.

The alleged shooter has been identified as a pro-transgender campaigner into furry internet culture and also a traditional Republican Mormon. He is both a leftist anti-fa agent and a far-right “Groyper” fan of Nick Fuentes.

Others suggest the alleged shooter, regardless of his politics, is just a patsy, and Kirk was killed by Mossad operatives for turning against Israel. People are analyzing video footage minutely looking for bullet paths and possible suspects in the security entourage.

Still others maintain Kirk was never killed at all, and the whole thing is a fake psy-op.

We have yet to receive the “official version” from on high but, when we do, you can be sure it won’t satisfy everybody, and debate will rage.

Thus far, there is only one certitude we can take away from the case – cancel culture is alright, really.

For years, the Republican position has been that leftist “cancel culture” – ruining lives and careers because of “offensive” social media posts – is ridiculous and morally wrong.

Not anymore, now massive social media campaigns are launched against anyone who celebrates, minimizes or even fails to adequately mourn the death of Charlie Kirk.

Leaked Messages from Charlie Kirk Assassin

“Hey guys, I have bad news for you all … it was me at UVU yesterday.” Thus Tyler Robinson messaged his friends on Discord, seemingly apologizing for murdering Charlie Kirk. “I’m sorry for all of this.”

I obtained this and other Discord chats I’ve decided to publish (the legacy news media, as usual, refuses), along with new information I’ve learned about Robinson from the people who knew him best.

Trump and company portray the alleged Utah shooter as left-wing and liberals portray him as right-wing. The federal conclusion will inevitably be that he was a so-called Nihilist Violent Extremist (NVE); meanwhile, the crackdown has already begun, as I reported yesterday. The country is practically ready to go to war.

“It’s been so terrible and seeing it from an inside perspective is so frustrating,” a friend of Robinson’s since middle school told me. The childhood friend, who asked not to be named for fear of threats, provided me with the above non-public photo of Robinson on a camping trip (a favorite activity of his) to corroborate their relationship.

“I think the main thing that’s caused so much confusion is that he was always generally apolitical for the most part,” the friend told me. “That’s the big thing, he just never really talked politics which is why it’s so frustrating.”

The picture that emerges bears little resemblance to the media version. Robinson, I am told, though quiet, was a well-liked person with a supportive family. The friend group who he interacted with on Discord, far from some kind of militia camp or Antifa bunker it’s been portrayed as, represented a range of different political views but mostly talked video games.

Yesterday, FBI Director Kash Patel said in an interview that Robinson “subscribed to left-wing ideology,” citing his family’s remarks to investigators. But those close to Robinson say there was a lot his family didn’t know about him.

“Their ideas are based on someone they didn’t fully understand,” the childhood friend told me. Though the family was generally supportive of Robinson (a claim corroborated by his mother’s Facebook account, brimming with praise for Tyler) they didn’t seem to know about his relationship with a transgender person named Lance, the friend said.

When I asked if his family would have been accepting, the friend replied: “I don’t think even Tyler knew the answer to that question, which is why he kept it so low key between themselves.”

Tyler’s bisexuality, the friend said, was coupled with openness on LGBT issues. But his wasn’t some cookie cutter lefty position on every or even most issues, his friends say.

“Obviously he’s okay with gay and trans people having a right to exist, but also believes in the Second Amendment,” the friend said, referring to the right to bear arms.

The friend described Robinson as fairly typical of a young man his age from Utah: someone who loved the outdoors, was a gamer, and into guns.

“To all of us he just seemed like a simple guy who liked playing games like Sea of Thieves, Deep Rock Galactic and Helldivers 2, loved to fish and loved to camp,” the friend said. “It really did seem like that’s all he was about.”

Pam Bondi Says Government Will “Go After” Hate Speech, Drawing First Amendment Criticism

US Attorney General Pam Bondi has stirred controversy with recent comments seeming to suggest that certain forms of speech could fall outside First Amendment protections, a stance that is fundamentally incompatible with the Constitution.

During an appearance on The Katie Miller Podcast following last week’s assassination of conservative activist and commentator Charlie Kirk, Bondi stated, “There’s free speech and then there’s hate speech, and there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, in our society…” She added, “We will absolutely target you, go after you, if you are targeting anyone with hate speech.”

Her remarks immediately drew sharp responses from across the political spectrum, with many warning that her approach opens the door to dangerous government overreach.

Bondi later attempted to narrow the scope of her original statements in a post on X, writing, “Hate speech that crosses the line into threats of violence is NOT protected by the First Amendment. It’s a crime.”

She continued, “For far too long, we’ve watched the radical left normalize threats, call for assassinations, and cheer on political violence. That era is over.”

The Foundation for Individual Rights (FIRE), a civil liberties group focused on free speech, fired back, stating, “There is no hate speech exception to the First Amendment.”

The Supreme Court has long protected even offensive or unpopular speech, with the Court’s view being that the “proudest boast” of America’s free speech legacy is “freedom for the thought that we hate.”

Conservatives who typically align with Bondi’s broader political positions also voiced concern.

Michigan Lawmakers Embrace Marijuana Tax Hike Plan Proposed By Governor

Michigan Senate Democrats are reportedly moving toward implementing a major tax hike on marijuana that was previously proposed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D).

While no legislation to effectuate the policy change has been filed yet, the plan is to impose a 32 percent wholesale excise tax on cannabis—which would be in addition to the existing 16 percent in taxes that are placed on marijuana at the retail level.

The governor said in February that the proposal would “close a loophole that exempted the marijuana industry from wholesale tax, which is applied to similar smoking products, like cigarettes, and other tobacco items.” Aligning those tax policies, her office said, could help the state fund plans to “fix the damn roads for generations to come.”

“After voters legalized marijuana, the industry has grown exponentially thanks in part to Michigan’s industry-friendly taxes, the fourth lowest in the nation,” the governor said at the time. “The industry, which recorded billions in sales in 2024, uses Michigan roads to transport marijuana multiple times throughout the process, including to grow operations, testing labs, distribution hubs, and finally retail stores. This will add an additional $470 million to help fix roads across the state.”

It would also effectively double the total tax rate on cannabis in Michigan, which advocates say would unfairly burden businesses and consumers.

“Michigan’s cannabis consumers already pay more than their fair share of taxes. They should not be singled out to bear the costs of ‘fixing the damn roads,’” Karen O’Keefe, director of state policies for the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP), told Marijuana Moment.

“Michigan’s excise taxes are about 10 times as high on cannabis as they are on alcohol,” she said. “Gov. Whitmer’s proposal would roughly double the tax burden on consumers, many of whom are medical patients who are struggling to make ends meet.”

Over 100 Radical Leftist Teachers in Texas Will Have Their Certificates SUSPENDED and Face PERMANENT BAN from Public Schools After Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Assassination and Calling for More Violence

More than 100 Texas educators are now facing the end of their teaching careers after posting vile, hateful, and violent content celebrating the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk.

Governor Greg Abbott announced on Sunday that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has begun investigations into teachers who cheered Kirk’s murder and even incited additional violence online.

Abbott confirmed that these educators will not only have their teaching certifications suspended but will also be permanently barred from working in Texas public schools.

In a strongly worded letter to superintendents, TEA Commissioner Mike Morath condemned the educators’ despicable behavior, noting that such conduct may constitute violations of the Educators’ Code of Ethics.

He confirmed that all documented cases have been referred to TEA’s Educator Investigations Division.

44 US AGs Write a Letter Warning AI Companies

On the heels of Meta’s Internal AI leak, 44 US Attorney Generals wrote a strongly worded letter to major AI companies.

On the heels of Meta’s Internal AI leak, 44 US attorneys general wrote a strongly worded letter to major AI companies.

The attorneys general condemn exposing children to sexualized content through personalized AI. The letter cites several recent cases where personalized AI went wrong, including:

  • Google’s chatbot drove a teenager towards suicide
  • The Character.ai chatbot told a teenager that he should kill his parents

Oddy, the letter gave the AI companies leeway when it comes to development:

We understand that the frontier of technology is a difficult and uncertain place where learning, experimentation, and adaptation are necessary for survival. You are figuring things out as you go. But in that process, you have opportunities to exercise judgment.

The letter also acknowledged social media has harmed children, but pins the blame on a lack of regulation.

You will be held accountable for your decisions. Social media platforms caused significant harm to children, in part because government watchdogs did not do their job fast enough. Lesson learned

…

We wish you all success in the race for AI dominance. But we are paying attention. If you knowingly harm kids, you will answer for it.

It’s okay if AI dominates the world, replaces everyone’s jobs, and makes people dumber—just watch out when it comes to children.

Forty-four US attorneys general signed this letter because they care about protecting children. In the coming months, we’ll see if they really mean that.
