Oregon Dem Melissa Fireside declared international fugitive after fleeing US with young son, could be headed to Austria: authorities

An Oregon Democratic politician is now an international fugitive from justice after fleeing the country with her young son when she was charged with bilking an elderly man out of $30,000, authorities said.

Democrat Melissa Fireside, an ex-Clackamas County commissioner, crossed the border into Mexico on a fake passport and booked a ticket for Austria after going on the run with her 9-year-old son, Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield said Friday.

“Our top concern right now is the safety and well-being of this child,” Rayfield said.

“We are working closely with law enforcement partners here and at the federal level to locate Ms. Fireside and ensure she is held accountable under Oregon law.”

Fireside was free on conditional release while facing charges that she stole from her mom’s 83-year-old boyfriend when she disappeared, The Oregonian reported.

“No one should be able to evade justice by crossing a border,” he added.

Fireside was charged in March with aggravated theft, forgery and other crimes for allegedly ripping off retired Safeway employee Arthur Petrone, her mom’s beau, by applying for a loan using his name.

Petrone, who died in August, lived on his pension and Social Security payments.

Fireside pleaded not guilty at her arraignment and was allowed to remain free on the condition that she not leave the state and show up for court hearings.

However, the state justice department on Friday filed a motion to revoke Fireside’s bail after investigators determined that she wasn’t living at her Lexington, Oregon, home — a violation of the terms of her release, the attorney general said.

Bombshell Emails Reveal Comey Expected to Work For ‘President-Elect Hillary Clinton’ – and Knew His ‘Mole’ Daniel Richman Was Leaking to the Media

Newly released November 2016 emails reveal that James Comey was guiding his media mole, Daniel Richman, and authorized leaks to the media.

James Comey knew his ‘friend’ Daniel Richman was talking to the media, backing up claims in Lindsey Halligan’s case against the former FBI Director.

This contradicts Comey’s claims that he is being maliciously prosecuted.

The motive? Comey said that he expected to work for ‘president-elect Clinton.’

“Some day they will figure it out. And as [Individual 1 and Individual 2] point out, my decision will be one a president-elect Clinton will be very grateful for (although that wasn’t why I did it),” Comey wrote to his media mole Daniel Richman in one of the emails, according to Just The News.

The newly-released documents were found in the hidden SCIF that Kash Patel discovered this year.

Lindsey Halligan released the emails in a court filing in response to Comey’s motion to dismiss based on malicious prosecution.

James Comey was clearly working with Daniel Richman to anonymously leak information about Hillary Clinton’s email scandal to the New York Times.

Just The News reported:

Federal prosecutors revealed Monday they have unearthed a trove of personal emails showing then-FBI Director James Comey openly talked in the days before the 2016 election that he expected to be working soon for President-elect Hillary Clinton and was being kept apprised by a top FBI aide on efforts to anonymously provide information to the news media.

“Well done my friend. Who knew this would. E so uh fun,” Comey wrote in a November 2016 email after then-FBI special government employee Dan Richman briefed the FBI director on Richman’s efforts to provide information and guidance to The New York Times on an article involving Clinton’s email scandal.

The emails were referenced in a bombshell court filing by acting U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan and her deputy, Tyler Lemmons in which the government rejected Comey’s argument that he was being maliciously prosecuted for misleading Congress about actions he took as FBI director.

Halligan cited and attached to the filing numerous emails in which Comey was clearly aware that Richman was working to provide information anonymously to news outlets about the Clinton email case and that he expected those outreach efforts would end with Clinton defeating Donald Trump in the November 2016 election.

Ex-ISIS Envoy Who Killed Americans In Iraq To Be Hosted At White House This Month

President Donald Trump is set to host Syria’s self-appointed interim leader later this month for talks in Washington, marking the first ever visit by a Syrian head of state to the US capitol. Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, who once fought alongside foreign fighters while killing American soldiers in Iraq, will enjoy his red carpet reception in Washington on November 10.

This will also mark the first time a former ISIS member will be hosted in the Oval Office, an absurdity which would have been hard to believe a mere decade ago. But the US-Saudi-Israel axis reached its regime change goal in Damascus, which overthrew the secular Arab nationalist leader Bashar al-Assad, which resulted in the Islamist Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) taking over.

The HTS leader Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, who was even earlier this year still on the US terrorism list, quickly reverted to his birth name of Ahmed al-Sharaa. The US had promptly removed the $10 million bounty on his head just before President Trump met with him in Riyadh last May.

“President Ahmed al-Sharaa will be at the White House at the start of November,” Syria’s foreign minister said in speech in Bahrain. “Of course, this is a historic visit. It is the first visit by a Syrian president to the White House in more than 80 years.”

“There will be many issues on the table, starting with the lifting of sanctions and opening of a new chapter between the United States and Syria. We want to establish a very strong partnership between the two countries.”

One area of proposed cooperation is in fighting terrorism, ironically enough, and the US and Syria under Jolani are expected to sign an agreement joining a US-led international coalition against ISIS during the visit, which is somewhat laughable given ISIS patches have recently been seen among HTS ranks.

The Deep State Stalls on Trump Ban of Dangerous ‘Gain-Of-Function’ Research

The Trump administration has missed its September 2 deadline to finalize new federal rules restricting gain-of-function (GOF) research, more than eight weeks past the due date established by executive order.

The delay has prompted concern among biosafety experts and reopened debate within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) over the handling of high-risk biological research.

The May 2025 executive order required a multi-agency task force to develop updated policies governing the creation and manipulation of pandemic-level pathogens.

The initiative was intended to prevent research similar to pre-COVID experiments funded by NIH at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“The atom has been split in biology with COVID, but nobody seems to be talking about it with urgency,” said Sean Kaufman, CEO and founding partner of Safer Behaviors, a biosafety consulting firm.

The policy dispute has placed HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a longtime critic of NIH funding for Wuhan research, at odds with NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya.

Bhattacharya has faced criticism from both inside and outside the agency for mixed public statements on the GOF issue and for retaining officials linked to Anthony Fauci’s former research oversight network.

Top UFO investigator reveals three spine-tingling, never-before-seen encounters

You may have heard of the Tic Tac UFO encounter or the Gimbal and Go Fast videos.

But years before these now-world-famous craft sightings went mainstream, a little-known research group was analyzing them over and over again.

MUFON – the Mutual UFO Network – has 700 investigators in the U.S. and has been collecting evidence of strange encounters since the 1960s.

One of its top analysts, Bob Spearing, told DailyMail.com ‘Our slogan is, ‘Doing the Air Force’s job since 1969′.’ MUFON now has 137,000 reports of UFO encounters in its files.

Searing is today revealing the strangest cases which he believes could be the catalyst for further government investigations and congressional hearings.

Flying squids

The idea of ‘Jellyfish’ UFOs rocketed into the public consciousness thanks to a video on an Iraqi military base, released by journalist Jeremy Corbell.

MUFON debunked that video, which Spearing describes as having ‘so many flaws’ – but looked in its archive to find others.

‘What we found was startling,’ said Spearing – there were dozens of similar cases, both of larger squid-like craft – and smaller floating squid, some of which seemed to ‘suck the life-force’ from victims.

‘We found a lot of drawings and photographs starting from Denmark in the 70s of these giant cloud-like mushrooms, and it goes right up until today – but then we also discovered that there’s also a phenomenon of indoor jellyfish.

One strange encounter in Singapore found sleeping women attacked by floating objects with bioluminescent tentacles.

Mayor of Uruapan Municipality, Michoacán, Mexico, Assassinated During the Candle Festival

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, during the Festival de las Velas held in the main square of the municipality of Uruapan, Michoacán, the independent municipal president, Carlos Alberto Manzo Rodríguez, was shot and later died in the hospital. According to reports, the attack took place in full view of festivalgoers.

His death underscores the alarming trend of violence against local officials in Mexico and raises serious questions about public-safety assurances for elected representatives.

Manzo Rodríguez, elected in September 2024 as mayor of Uruapan with an independent campaign, had gained prominence for publicly confronting organized-crime influence and urging the federal government for greater intervention in his municipality.

He had also accused state authorities of corruption and negligence. According to the federal security secretary, the assailant opened fire with a weapon linked to clashes between rival criminal groups. The attacker was killed on site, and two other suspects were arrested.

The assassination occurred despite Manzo’s having been placed under federal protection since December 2024, with additional security reinforcement in May 2025. Authorities said the perpetrators exploited the vulnerability of the public event to commit the crime.

The governor of Michoacán and the federal presidency condemned the attack and pledged that no impunity would be allowed.

They announced intensified security measures in the region and investigations into possible cartel involvement.

This killing took place in one of Mexico’s most violence-plagued states, where powerful criminal organizations fight for control of territory and resources, including the lucrative avocado industry — a point Manzo himself referenced in his public statements.

Russia Moves to Mandate State Biometric ID for Online Age Verification

Russian lawmakers are moving forward with a proposal that would make the country’s biometric and e-government systems the mandatory gatekeepers for online age verification.

If implemented, the measure would tie access to adult or “potentially harmful” content directly to a person’s verified state identity, dissolving any remaining expectation of online anonymity.

The plan, discussed on October 28, is being marketed as a child protection initiative. Officials insist it is designed to keep minors away from dangerous material, yet the scope of what qualifies is remarkably broad.

According to TechRadar, one official included pornography, violent or profane videos, and even “propaganda of antisocial behavior” in the list of restricted content.

The main part of the proposal is the use of the “Gosuslugi” digital services portal, which already functions as Russia’s main interface for state verification.

This system connects directly to the Unified System of Identification and Authentication (ESIA) and the national Unified Biometrics System (UBS), both of which are controlled by the government.

State Duma deputy Anton Nemkin, a former FSB officer, suggested that these networks “could be used to verify age without directly transmitting passport data to third-party platforms.”

In effect, the state would become the universal intermediary between citizens and the internet.

Legal experts specializing in digital rights argue that this initiative continues a long-established trajectory.

Since 2012, when Russia began constructing its online censorship framework under the pretext of protecting minors, each new regulation has chipped away at personal privacy while expanding government visibility into everyday digital life.

The current proposal also fits neatly within Moscow’s broader strategy of “digital sovereignty.”

Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Andrei Svintsov recently claimed that every Russian internet user will lose their anonymity within “three years, five at most,” TechRadar reported.

This vision aligns with another state project approved in June, the development of a national “super app” integrating digital ID, government services, and payment systems, which would even let users “confirm one’s age to a supermarket cashier.”

BBC Caught EDITING Trump’s January 6 Speech to Make It Sound Like He Encouraged Rioting – Here is a Side-by-Side of the Original and Edited Videos

BBC got caught editing Trump’s January 6 speech to make it sound like he encouraged rioting.

According to The Telegraph, an internal whistleblower memo revealed the BBC “doctored” Trump’s speech to make it sound like he was telling supporters to march over to the Capitol and “fight like hell.”

The Telegraph reported:

The BBC “doctored” a Donald Trump speech by making him appear to encourage the Capitol Hill riot, according to an internal whistleblowing memo seen by The Telegraph.

A Panorama programme, broadcast a week before the US election, “completely misled” viewers by showing the president telling supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to “fight like hell”, when in fact he said he would walk with them “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”.

The “mangled” footage was highlighted in a 19-page dossier on BBC bias, which was compiled by a recent member of the corporation’s standards committee and is now circulating in government departments.

The dossier said the programme made the US president “‘say’ things [he] never actually said” by splicing together footage from the start of his speech with something he said nearly an hour later.

It claimed senior executives and the BBC’s chairman had ignored and dismissed a string of serious complaints raised by the corporation’s own standards watchdog.

The Drone War No One Can Stop: Mystery Aircraft Defy Europe’s Defences

In September 2025, a wave of incursions caused major disruption.

Copenhagen Airport was temporarily closed.

Danish military bases were breached.

Drones were also spotted over a power plant, a hospital, and a ThyssenKrupp naval factory in Germany.

France and Belgium were affected too.

The countries hit seemed powerless to stop the drones.

On Saturday (1 November) and Sunday (2 November), drones were sighted on two separate occasions over Kleine Brogel Air Base in Belgium.

The base hosts F-16s from the Belgian Air Force’s 10th Tactical Wing.

Alarmingly, under NATO’s nuclear sharing program, the base also stores B61-series nuclear bombs.

Belgian Defence Minister Theo Francken confirmed that drones entered the area near the Base in northeastern Belgium on Saturday and Sunday nights in two separate phases.

Francken said the first phase involved “small drones to test the radio frequencies” of Belgian security services. Later, “big drones” appeared, apparently “to destabilize the area and people,” he told public broadcaster RTBF.

“It resembles a spy operation. By whom, I don’t know,” he said. “I have a few ideas, but I’m going to be careful about speculating.”

As in September, Belgian forces appeared unable to bring down the drones. Francken later explained why jamming efforts failed and why the military chose not to use kinetic force.

Francken said the security services’ jammer failed because the drones had adapted.

“The jammer didn’t work because they tested our radio frequency and changed it,” he explained. “They have their own frequencies. An amateur doesn’t know how to do that.”

When asked why the drones weren’t shot down, Francken said:

“If they’re over a military base, we can shoot them down. But if they’re nearby, we have to be very careful — they could fall on a house, a car, a person. That’s completely different.”

He added that the situation also raised legal questions. “It’s not entirely clear. We have to clarify the legal grounds.”

Francken admitted that Belgium was still playing catch-up.

“We’re chasing after the threat,” he said. “We should have bought air defense systems five or ten years ago.”

Similar failures exposing the limits of counter-drone technology have occurred in recent years, affecting key U.S. military bases.

In December 2023, Langley Air Force Base in Virginia was swarmed by dozens of drones over several weeks, sparking a major security scare.

In 2024, Liberation Times obtained twenty-two witness statements and an incident report through a Freedom of Information Act request, following incursions at the base.

These statements come from members of the 633d Security Forces Squadron, who are responsible for guarding Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

Witnesses from the 633d Security Forces Squadron reported observing the so-called ‘drones’ ‘moving at rapid speeds’ and displaying ‘flashing red, green, and white lights’.

Concerningly, one witness stated that their dronebuster ‘failed to register’ one of the objects, while another was unable to use a dronebuster ‘due to not having a visual’.

Israel Arrests Ex-IDF Lawyer Who Leaked Video Showing Israeli Soldiers Rape a Palestinian Prisoner

On Monday, Israeli police arrested the Israeli military’s former top prosecutor for leaking a video that showed Israeli soldiers raping a Palestinian prisoner at the notorious Sde Teiman detention facility in southern Israel last year.

Maj. Gen. Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi resigned on Friday after admitting to approving the leak, something she said she did in response to the backlash over Israeli military police arresting IDF soldiers who were suspected of severely abusing the prisoner, which involved stabbing him with a sharp object that tore his rectum.

Tomer-Yerushalmi went missing on Sunday for several hours, raising concerns that her life was at risk, but she was later found unharmed. The former military prosecutor has come under a torrent of criticism for her role in leaking the video, including from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who called the leak the worst public relations attack on Israel in the country’s history.

Israeli government officials have been strongly critical of the act of leaking the video, but of the horrific abuse inflicted on the Palestinian prisoner. According to Israeli media reports at the time, the prisoner was admitted to the hospital with an injury to his anus so severe that he couldn’t walk and also had severe lung injuries and broken ribs.
