China says it may have detected aliens, then deletes report

There’s something out there — maybe.

China’s science ministry said this week that it picked up signs of alien life on the world’s largest radio telescope — then appeared to quickly delete a report about the discovery.

The country’s powerful Sky Eye telescope detected electromagnetic signals of possible civilizations on other planets,  according to a report published Tuesday in Science and Technology Daily, the official newspaper of China’s Ministry of Science and Technology.

“[There were] several cases of possible technological traces and extraterrestrial civilizations from outside the earth,” the report said.

The team of researchers, headed by the Beijing Normal University, said the mysterious frequencies were unlike anything they’d previously encountered and were investigating further, according to the report.

Biden Expected To Sign Executive Order To Fight Republican ‘Bullying’ of LGBTQ Minors

On Wednesday, President Biden is expected to sign an executive order at a White House event aimed at “advancing LGBTQI+ equality.” He is also expected to blast Republicans for allegedly “bullying” LGBT minors.

Per a senior administration official to Fox News: “[Biden will] forcefully condemn the discriminatory attacks on LGBTQI+ children and families that are seeing all across the country.”

“He will talk about how these bills are worsening the mental health crisis that LGBTQ youth are facing, putting them at greater risk of suicide,” he added. “President Biden always stands up to bullies, and that’s what these extreme MAGA laws and policies do. They bully kids.”

Of course, it’s not clear what “discriminatory attacks” the President is referring to. Nor is it understood what “extreme MAGA laws and policies” are responsible for this alleged attack on LGBT children and the high suicide rate amongst the community.

The expected executive order will also call on the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to ensure minors can receive gender transition surgeries. It will also “crackdown on conversion therapy”, calling on HHS to clarify that federally funded programs cannot endorse the practice.

Another US Food Processing Plant Erupts In Flames

Another food processing plant went up in flames. According to local news Stevens Point Journal, a fire ripped through a pizza-making plant in Wisconsin on Monday. 

More than 70 firefighters from multiple fire departments battled a massive fire at Festive Foods in eastern Portage County that began around 0900 local time. The American Red Cross arrived on the scene shortly after to provide food and water to firefighters. They snapped two pictures of the blaze, showing flames erupting from the facility’s roof and a column of thick dark smoke pouring into the air. 

Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control in the early evening, and damage to the food processing plant has yet to be fully assessed. However, Festive Foods’ Facebook page indicates the plant is “temporarily closed.” 

“Today festive foods experienced a heartbreaking event. As many of you have seen in the news we have had a terrible fire run through our plant,” a post on Festive Foods’ Facebook read. 

Festive Foods manufactures frozen pizzas for supermarkets in a 120,000 sq. feet facility and considers itself a “leading co-packer of USDA-certified frozen-topped pizza, sandwiches, dough products, and stuffed appetizers.” The company sells its products to supermarkets nationwide.

Scientists Want To Rename Monkeypox Because It’s ‘Stigmatizing’ To Africans

A group of scientists, mostly hailing from Africa, are calling for the scientific community to rename monkeypox viruses due to concerns that the current geographically-determined names are offensive.

The group of 29 scientists wrote Friday that scientists should rename two monkeypox virus clades — the “West African” clade and the “Congo Basin” clade — to be identified by numbers instead of geographic origin points. The scientists said that, with growing attention on monkeypox caused by outbreaks in the West, the viruses should be renamed in line with best practices within the healthcare industry.

“Given the increasingly rapid communication of, and attention to, the international human MPXV outbreak, it is important to consider an appropriate, non-discriminatory, and non-stigmatizing nomenclature and classification of MPXV clades,” their publication said.

The scientists propose renaming the monkeypox clades to clades 1, 2 and 3, corresponding with the order of detection. Clade 1 would be the formerly-called “Congo Basin” clade, sometimes referred to as the “Central African” clade, and clades 2 and 3 would be the formerly “West African” clade.

“Failure to support and adopt the proposed nomenclature and classification may result in loss of interest in sustaining active surveillance and rapid reporting of pathogens with epidemic and pandemic potentials, by scientists and national public health institutions in Africa,” the scientists go on to say.

One of the scientists involved in the position paper, director of the African Center of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases Dr. Christian Happi, told STAT News that the way the media is covering the monkeypox outbreak in the West is “racist.”

Severe COVID-19 ‘Rare’ In Unvaccinated People, Survey Reveals

A survey has found that people who did not get the vaccine had a lower rate of suffering severe COVID-19 amid the pandemic. 

The survey uploaded to the preprint server ResearchGate presented data from more than 18,500 respondents from the “Control Group” project with more than 300,000 overall participants. An analysis revealed that compared to those who got jabbed, unvaccinated people reported fewer hospitalizations. 

The international survey also found that the unvaccinated people from more than 175 countries were more likely to self-care to prevent and manage COVID-19 infection. They used natural products like vitamin D, vitamin C, zinc, quercetin, and drugs, such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. 

Many participants experienced discrimination for refusing the administration of “genetic vaccines” and struggled with mental health burdens due to the stigma in the mostly “vaccinated” society.

The White House has officially confirmed reports that President Biden will indeed be visiting Saudi Arabia in contradiction of his campaign vows to make the nation a “pariah” for its human rights violations, and everyone’s acting like visiting a murderous tyrant is somehow beneath the dignity of a US president.

“The President will then travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which is the current chair of the GCC and the venue for this gathering of nine leaders from across the region, at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud,” the White House statement reads. “The President appreciates King Salman’s leadership and his invitation.  He looks forward to this important visit to Saudi Arabia, which has been a strategic partner of the United States for nearly eight decades.”

The president will meet with the nation’s de facto leader, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, to discuss what the White House calls “means for expanding regional economic and security cooperation, including new and promising infrastructure and climate initiatives, as well as deterring threats from Iran, advancing human rights, and ensuring global energy and food security.”

But what they will primarily be discussing is oil, as the US flounders in its economic war against Russia.

Biden to send another $1 billion weapons package to Ukraine

President Biden on Wednesday announced plans to send another $1 billion security assistance package to Ukraine that will include artillery, coastal defense weapons and ammunition to help the country fight off Russian forces.

Biden also said he would send an additional $225 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine to provide drinking water, medical supplies, food and shelter for families inside Ukraine grappling with the impact of the months-long Russian invasion.  

The president said in a written statement that he spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday to inform him of the additional assistance, which is a sliver of a massive $40 billion aid package passed by Congress last month. The call Wednesday morning between the two leaders lasted about 40 minutes, according to the White House. 

“I reaffirmed my commitment that the United States will stand by Ukraine as it defends its democracy and support its sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of unprovoked Russian aggression,” Biden said.  

The U.S. has sent billions in weaponry, humanitarian and economic assistance to Ukraine to help forces blunt the Russian attack since the start of the war at the end of February. The administration quickly depleted the first $13.6 billion emergency aid package Congress approved for Ukraine in March. 

According to the White House statement, the latest assistance package will include ammunition for artillery and the advanced rocket systems that the U.S. already sent to Ukraine.

Capitol Police Chief Debunks J6 Committee Conspiracy Theory

As the Democrat-run January 6th Committee goes to great lengths to present their unifying theory of insurrection surrounding that fateful day in 2001, Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger has debunked a Democrat allegation that a GOP lawmaker, Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), ran a reconnaissance mission inside the Capitol one day before the riot.

“There is no evidence that Representative Loudermilk entered the U.S. Capitol with this group on January 5, 2021,” Manger wrote in a Monday letter to Rep. Rodbey Davis (R-IL), ranking Republican on the House Administration Committee, after reviewing security footage of Loudermilk giving people a tour of congressional office buildings.

“We train our officers on being alert for people conducting surveillance or reconnaissance, and we do not consider any of the activities we observed as suspicious,” the letter continues (via Just the News).

J6 Committee Democrat Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and RINO Liz Cheney (R-WY) made allegations against Loudermilk in a letter to the media last month, demanding to know why Loudermilk explain why he was giving a tour of the Capitol the day before the riots – implying that he may have been doing reconnaissance for the next day’s riot.
