‘Staggering’: Trump SBA Suspends 111,620 California Borrowers-Finds Nearly $9 Billion in Suspected Small Business Fraud

The Trump administration’s Small Business Administration announced Friday that the agency has suspended 111,620 California borrowers connected to $8.6 BILLION in suspected pandemic fraud.

In a press release, SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler noted, “Once again, the Trump SBA is taking decisive action to deliver accountability in a state whose unaccountable welfare policies have created a culture of fraud and abuse at the expense of law-abiding taxpayers and small business owners.”

“Today, we announced we have suspended nearly 112,000 borrowers tied to at least $9 billion in suspected fraud. This staggering number represents the most significant crack-down on those who defrauded pandemic programs, and it illuminates the scale of corruption that the Biden Administration tolerated for years.

“As we did in Minnesota, we are actively working with federal law enforcement to identify the criminals who defrauded American taxpayers, hold them to account, and recoup the stolen funds. As we continue our state-by-state work, our message is clear: pandemic-era fraudsters will not get a pass under this Administration.”

Loeffler took to X to add,  “California, just like Minnesota, invites criminals to abuse the system with socialist welfare policies. Fraud scaled up massively during the pandemic – and the Biden Admin failed to stop it.”

“In San Diego, I visited a single address tied to 14 different ‘small businesses’ that were formed during the pandemic, who received $2M+ in COVID-era loans that still haven’t been fully repaid.”

“The era of abuse is over.”

Democrats Hate Anyone Who Doesn’t Love Crime And Fraud As Much As They Do — Even Leftists

Democrats hate certain other Democrats and leftists about as much as they hate you, and their targets are quite revealing.

In Los Angeles, elected City Controller Kenneth Mejia has unearthed significant social services fraud and waste and is pushing to fund more investigators — without success — so he can dig deeper. Mejia is way left, a high-octane Bernie bro who ostensibly “left” the Democrat Party in 2024. He has at times identified with the Green Party, apparently because the Democrats were much too far to the right for him. But Mejia is also a certified public accountant and a true believer in leftist social intervention, and he takes it personally when people steal from government programs that are supposed to help the poor. Mejia’s investigators are the reason a homeless services contractor in Los Angeles is awaiting trial on a massive list of state and federal felony charges for fraud.

Mejia revealed earlier this week that real estate and private equity “executives” as well as multiple “billionaires” are “pouring money” into the 2026 controller’s race to “oust” him amid his reelection bid.

No lie is too big for California Governor Gavin Newsom, even when such falsehoods have the potential to put the lives of Americans in danger.

The Department of Homeland Security on Friday sent out a press release on Friday, revealing that 33,179 illegals are in California’s custody, yet the state government is refusing to honor the ICE detainers. The crimes by these prisoners include 399 homicides, 3,313 assaults, 3,171 burglaries, 1,011 robberies, 8,380 dangerous drugs offenses, 1,984 weapons offenses, and 1,293 sexual predatory offenses.

This policy by California has resulted in 4,561 criminal illegal aliens being released since January 20.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem demanded that Newsom change course and cooperate with the Trump Administration on immigration.

“I am urgently calling on @gavinnewsom to agree to NOT release the 33,179 criminal illegal aliens in California’s custody back into the public without notifying ICE,” she wrote.

“The crimes of these aliens include 399 homicides, 3,313 assaults, 3,171 burglaries, 1,011 robberies, 8,380 dangerous drugs offenses, 1,984 weapons offenses, and 1,293 sexual predatory offenses.”

ICE Humilates Far-Left Boston Mayor Michelle Wu in EPIC Fashion After She Signs Executive Order Barring Agency from Conducting “Unconstitutional and Violent” Operations

ICE agents delivered a humiliating and richly deserved blow to Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s ego on Friday, one day after she tried to hamstring them for doing their jobs.

As WHDH reported, Wu signed an “An Executive Order To Protect Bostonians From Unconstitutional and Violent Federal Operations.”

Specifically, the order bans federal officials, including ICE, from using city property for immigration enforcement operations.

Wu’s office says the order is designed to “protect residents from illegal federal overreach, prioritizing de-escalation, and reaffirms that Boston will hold anyone accountable who commits violence, property damage, or any criminal conduct in the City, including federal officials.”

“The Order confirms that the Boston Police Department will investigate all crimes committed in Boston— including those committed by federal agents—and, if appropriate, we will make referrals to the City’s local law enforcement partners, the Suffolk County District Attorney and the Massachusetts Attorney General,” Wu said in a statement obtained by WHDH.

“Additionally, the Order bars federal immigration agents from using City buildings, parking lots, and parks for their operations, bars immigration enforcement in non-public City spaces, and reaffirms that the City’s public buildings, including schools, libraries, senior centers, and community centers are available to residents for designated purposes only,” she continued.

Wu explained during a press conference that her executive order was in response to the actions of federal immigration enforcement and the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

She also whined that ICE agents were wearing masks to safeguard their identities, refusing to identify themselves, racially profiling residents, and not using body cameras.

The financial services company Credit Suisse had hundreds more bank accounts with Nazi ties than it had previously revealed, a new investigation reported this week.

The findings were discovered during an audit by independent investigators of UBS, the Swiss bank that acquired Credit Suisse in 2023.

“What the investigation has found to date shows that Credit Suisse’s involvement was more extensive than was previously known, and it underscores the importance of continuing to engage in research efforts about this horrific era of modern history,” Neil Barofsky, a lawyer overseeing the inquiry, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

Barofsky’s report found 890 accounts potentially linked to Nazis: 628 individuals and 262 legal entities.

In an attempt to appear “hip’ with younger generations by co-opting some of their lingo, on Thursday, the 2024 presidential election loser, Kamala Harris, rolled out a new name for her X account. The account was initially used during her failed campaign but was rebranded as headquarters67.

The next day, Harris, however, after being universally mocked, changed the name yet again.

With headquarters’67, Harris was trying to show how ‘cool’ and ‘hip’ she is by co-opting a Gen Alpha meme using ’67.’

The New York Post noted, “Alpha brainrot slang ’67’ that kids sometimes facetiously used when asked a question they’re too lazy to answer properly.

The effort fell flat.

Rather than buzz around the name change and what it might mean for Harris’s political future, it only reinforced how phony and performative she is.

Investigative reporter Chris Rufo noted, “My children have informed me that ’67’ is already old, tired, and cringe, so once again, Kamala is coming up short.”

Other X users reminded people that Harris admitted she really thinks about younger generations, “They are stupid.”

Rape allegation against ex-Barclays CEO Jes Staley was raised in US Epstein investigation

US prosecutors reviewed allegations of rape and bodily harm against the former Barclays boss and former JP Morgan banker Jes Staley, according to newly unsealed files linked to the child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Multiple documents in the Epstein files cite serious allegations of sexual misconduct against Staley, including that he forced a woman to touch his genitals during a massage before raping her, and left “bloody marks” on the arms of a woman he called “tinkerbell”.

The bulk of the allegations are revealed in what appears to be a confidential 86-page internal memo produced by prosecutors and addressed to Geoffrey S Berman, then US Attorney for the Southern District of New York. The memo, titled “Investigation into Potential Co-Conspirators of Jeffrey Epstein” and dated 19 December 2019, summarised interviews with victims, witnesses and subjects of its investigation.

There is no evidence that prosecutors decided to pursue the allegations. Staley, who has previously denied any wrongdoing, did not respond to requests for comment made over several months, either directly or via his lawyers. He has never been charged with a crime related to the allegations.

During a UK court hearing in 2025, Staley admitted to having sex with a member of Epstein’s staff in New York, but agreed with a lawyer during cross-examination that he would describe the intercourse as “consensual”.

The memo refers to one woman’s recollection of events that allegedly occurred “in or around 2011 or 2012”. It says: “Epstein instructed [redacted] to provide a massage to Jes Staley in Epstein’s New York residence. [Redacted] attempted to give him an ordinary massage, but he forced [redacted] to touch his genitals and then raped [redacted].

“Afterwards, [redacted] complained to Epstein, who said he left it to [redacted] and Staley to decide whether to engage in sex. After this incident, [redacted] began to distance herself from Epstein.”

This allegation was included in a section labelled: “Interviews of Victims Who Were Abused As Adults”.

Mounds of Snow and Trash Are Just the Opening Act of Mamdani’s Collectivist New York

Images out of New York City this week have gone viral, and they are doing more to project the city’s future than any campaign speech ever could.

They show piles of trash sitting curbside and piles of snow still frozen nearly two weeks after a storm. They show a city struggling with completing tasks that should be routine.

This is what New Yorkers are seeing as Mayor Zohran Mamdani begins to warm his seat in City Hall.

According to WABC-TV in New York, sanitation crews fell behind after heavy snow and deep cold slowed cleanup efforts across the city. Trash piled up in multiple neighborhoods.

The mayor defended the city’s botched response as New Yorkers complained about living in a landfill.

I am not from New York, I do not want to visit New York, and I am well aware that New York City has dealt with snowstorms and sanitation problems long before Mamdani arrived.

I also cannot say with certainty that this entire situation is his fault. It might be, it might not be.

What I can say with certainty is that this will not be the last time New Yorkers complain about a problem that could have been avoided.

It will not be the last time residents are told to lower their expectations and accept dysfunction.

The problem is not the snow, but the city’s Marxist leadership.

Communist and socialist systems tend to fail pretty quickly for many reasons, but one stands above the rest.

These systems do not value or reward competence. They value and reward loyalty and ideology.

New York Budget Bill Proposes Mandatory File-Scanning Tech and In-Person Sales for 3D Printers

New York’s latest budget proposal would place new obligations on manufacturers of 3D printers and other digital fabrication equipment, tying the operation of these tools to mandatory software controls.

The 2026–2027 executive budget bill, S.9005/A.10005, directs that devices sold in the state include “blocking technology” capable of scanning every design file and stopping production when a “firearms blueprint detection algorithm” flags a file as a potential gun or gun component.

The bill, similar to the ones we recently reported on in Washington state, treats file scanning as a workable technical safeguard, even though digital design files only describe shapes.

Many ordinary objects share the same geometric traits as regulated firearm parts. Pipes, housings, brackets, mounts, and mechanical connectors all overlap with components that appear in firearms.

Software that evaluates geometry alone cannot reliably separate lawful designs from prohibited ones. Such systems inevitably interrupt legitimate work while offering little resistance to deliberate misuse.

Although public discussion often centers on consumer 3D printers, the statutory language reaches much further.

The definitions extend to any machine capable of making three-dimensional changes to an object from a digital design using subtractive manufacturing. That scope covers equipment found in repair businesses and small manufacturing firms throughout the state.
