January 6 pipe bomb suspect Brian Cole is not a Trump supporter like the legacy media has claimed.

Fox News, CNBC, and MS NOW are reporting that J6 pipe bomb suspect Brian Cole “expressed doubts about the 2020 election outcome.”

MS NOW reported that Brian Cole is a Trump supporter.

Cole’s family said he is an “autistic recluse” and “computer nerd” who lived in the basement of his parents’ Woodbridge, Virginia, home.

Brian Cole’s grandmother told The Daily Mail that her grandson has no party affiliation and that he is not a Trump supporter.

The 30-year-old Virginia man accused of planting pipe bombs near Capitol Hill on the eve of the January 6, 2021 riots is an autistic recluse and ‘computer nerd’ who has no party affiliation, his grandmother told the Daily Mail on Friday.

Brian Cole confessed and told his FBI interrogators that he is a Trump supporter and holds anarchist views, MSNOW reported citing unnamed sources.

But Loretta, his grandmother, said Cole has no party affiliation and never votes.

Rather, he keeps to himself, living in his mother’s basement in Woodbridge, Virginia, where he’s been grieving the loss of his beloved pet chihuahua, while working a data entry job for his family’s bail bonds business.

‘He’s not politically affiliated with anything,’ the grandmother told the Daily Mail during an interview at her home in Gainesville, Virginia. ‘He has no social media contacts. He’s never online going back and forth with politics or anything like that. He says he don’t like either party.

‘He’s borderline autistic,’ she added. ‘He’s slow. He may be 30, but he’s got the mind of a 16-year-old. That’s why we’re thinking – What the hell? What’s going on?’

Brian Cole was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with use of an explosive device and attempted malicious destruction by means of explosive materials.

Cole admitted to investigators that he planted pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters on January 5, the night before the Capitol riot.

Brian Cole made his first appearance in court before a magistrate judge in DC on Friday.

Do you have any idea what tapestry of corruption and crime is attached to the little thread of the J6 / DNC / RNC pipe bomber suspect arrested yesterday by the FBI? Consider this: suspect Brian Cole, Jr., is alive and probably talking, unlike, say, Jeffrey Epstein and Thomas Matthew Crooks in other matters of public interest. Let’s hope he is under FBI protection in custody, lest something. . . say. . . happen to him.

As of early this morning, the country knows next to nothing else about Cole and what he was up to the night of Jan. 5, 2021.

The FBI has not even said how he is employed. But his photo shows a young man dressed for office work. . . he lives in a nice house in the DC suburbs of Virginia. . .and you might infer that he is, possibly, a federal government worker. Oh, and the FBI was unable to catch him through the whole four years of “Joe Biden?”

You can suppose at this point that the story of that four-year botched investigation will be a way bigger thing than the pipe bomber’s little prank itself.

It probably leads to the story of wholesale corruption in Christopher Wray’s FBI, and even more consequentially, to the realization that the so-called J6, 2021 “insurrection” was a government op from top to bottom, aimed at eradicating Trump and Trumpism.

First, what was supposed to happen in a joint session of Congress that day?

Answer: certification of electoral college votes in the 2020 election. What else was liable to happen that day? Answer: under the Electoral Count Act of 1887 (3 U.S.C. §§ 5–6, 15–18) — as amended, and by the rules laid out in the U.S. Constitution (Article II and the 12th Amendment) — objections to several states’ slates of electors were expected to be entertained, triggering debate and possible rejection of those states’ electors on the basis that the votes were not “lawfully certified” (under 3 U.S.C. § 6), or not “regularly given” (meaning the vote was marred by fraud, corruption, or violence). Any state’s electoral votes could be rejected if both the House and Senate voted by simple majority, after up to two hours of separate debate.

At mid-day, objections meeting the written requirement (one House member + one Senator) were filed for Arizona and Pennsylvania. The objection to the Arizona vote (Rep. Paul Gosar + Sen. Ted Cruz) was the first scheduled to be debated shortly after 1:00 p.m. It was not allowed to happen. Instead, Congress evacuated the chamber. When Congress returned at 8:00 p.m., votes objecting to Arizona and Pennsylvania slates failed and no others were taken up. Senators who previously had committed to debating the votes of several other swing states demurred, citing the breach of demonstrators into the Capitol. The full tally concluded at 3:44 in the morning, Jan 7, “Joe Biden” and Kamala Harris were certified as winners of the 2020 election.

Here are some things to know about the pipe bomb subplot in the J-6 story.

Kamala Harris, vice president-elect, still a sitting Senator (CA), was not in the chamber for the certification process. She arrived at the DNC headquarters some blocks away from the Capitol by motorcade at 11:30 a.m. and stayed until she was evacuated from the DNC at 1:14 p.m. Couple of questions about that? 1) did she not want to be present in the chamber at the momentous instant that her election as veep was certified? 2) Did she not have a duty to be present for voting on any of the procedure? Weird, a little bit. She has never explained what she was doing at the DNC that day.

Kamala Harris was in the DNC building when the pipe bomb was discovered there, around 1:07 p.m. The pipe bomb at the RNC had been discovered some 20 minutes prior, and it was the discovery of that bomb, at 12:44 p.m. that prompted the evacuation of the joint House / Senate session in Congress, not any breach of the Capitol building, which did not occur until 2:13, p.m., more than an hour later.

Dan Bongino makes astonishing admission about his January 6 pipe bomber conspiracy

FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino were prolific conspiracy pushers before they took helm at the federal government’s biggest law enforcement arm.

But now the two are walking back on some of their previous claims after being able to see behind the curtain for nearly a year.

After a press conference providing details on the FBI’s arrest and charging of the Washington, DC pipe bomber, Bongino said he would commit himself to being ‘guided by the facts.’ 

At that same press confernece, Patel said: ‘When you attack American citizens, when you attack our institutions of legislation, when you attack our nation’s Capitol, you attack the very being of our way of life.’

Many on social media were quick to point to what they saw as hypocrisy coming from the FBI director and his deputy. 

One user said the comment was ‘ironic’ and claimed ‘these are unserious people’ after Donald Trump pardoned 1,500 January 6 protesters on his first day in office. Another called Bongino a ‘clown’ for admitting his old job was to push conspiracies. 

‘It’s really great they finally know the right guy to pardon,’ an X user sarcastially quipped.

Patel and Bongino was a prominent pro-MAGA voices defending those who rioted at the US Capitol following Trump’s 2020 election defeat to Joe Biden.

And Bongino alleged on his podcast before earning his government job that Joe Biden’s FBI actually knew the identity of the bomber and was keeping it from getting out. 

Once leadership was installed at Trump’s second-term FBI, Bongino was tasked with heading the effort to find and charge the person who placed pipe bombs outside the Washington, DC headquarters for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Republican National Committee (RNC) on January 5, 2021.

Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity, Bongino walked-back on some of his previous conspiracy rhetoric claiming the FBI was complicit in the bomb planting. 

‘I was paid in the past for my opinions, that’s clear, and one day I’ll be back in that space,’ the deputy director claimed. ‘But that’s not what I’m paid for now.’

‘I’m paid to be your deputy director, and we base investigations on facts,’ Bongino insisted, claiming the FBI would ‘be guided by the facts as this thing goes forward.’

Just months before taking office, Bongino claimed on his far-right podcast that the pipe bomb ase was ‘the biggest scandal in FBI history.’ 

He alleged that the agency knew the identity of the bomber and said the bombs were planted ‘to create a narrative that crazy MAGA people are trying to assassinate Kamala Harris.’

One X user gawked at Bongino’s comments to Hannity, admitting ‘he used to get paid to push conspiracy theories on the internet.’

‘Most people already knew, but I still can’t believe he actually said it—what a clown,’ the user wrote. 

Another wrote on X: ‘Are you going to mention that the guy is a Trump supporter who thought the 2020 election was rigged?’

Federal authorities arrested 30-year-old Brian Cole Jr. of Virginia for allegedly planting pipe bombs outside the RNC and DNC headquarters on the night of January 5, 2021. For four years, Biden’s FBI failed to break the case while the pipe bombs were used as political ammunition against Trump supporters.

As PJ Media previously reported, Cole’s arrest did not result from new tips or a brave new witness suddenly emerging from the shadows; it was because the Trump administration reviewed the evidence and pieced it together—something that should have been done years ago.

“Today’s arrest happened because the Trump Administration has made this case a priority. The total lack of movement on this case in our nation’s capital undermined the public trust of our enforcement agencies,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said Thursday. “This cold case languished for four years until Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino came to the FBI. The FBI, along with US Attorney Pirro and all of our prosecutors, have worked tirelessly for months sifting through evidence that had been sitting at the FBI with the Biden Administration for four long years.”

That storyline is a nightmare for Democrats. For years, the Biden team presided over a Justice Department that had endless resources to track down grandmas in MAGA hats using cell phone data, yet somehow could not close in on the one figure whose actions were used to paint January 6 as an organized terror plot. It’s almost as if they figured out who it was and deliberately chose not to pursue him.

But, here’s the big reason that this case will be memory-holed faster than you can say 1984: Brian Cole is black and a leftist.

Jake Tapper Misidentifies D.C. Pipe Bomb Suspect as a ’30-Year-Old White Man’

CNN host Jake Tapper misidentified Washington, DC, pipe bomb suspect Brian Cole Jr. as a “30-year-old white man” just before airing photos revealing him to be a black man.

“Brian Cole Jr., a 30-year-old white man from the D.C. suburbs, is charged with transporting an explosive device in interstate commerce and with malicious destruction by means of explosion,” Tapper said on his show The Lead.

Several minutes later, Tapper’s own program aired photos of Brian Cole Jr., a black man.

As Breitbart News reported on Thursday, Brian Cole Jr. was “arrested and charged with placing the pipe bombs at the RNC and the DNC on January 5, 2021.”

“He was also charged with transporting an explosive device in interstate commerce and the attempted malicious destruction by means of explosive materials, with more charges likely to result from the ongoing investigation,” the report added.

The FBI placed Cole at the scene of the crime nearly five years later through license plate readers and cell tower data.

The DC pipe bomber has been revealed to be a race-baiter who worked hard to ensure violent illegal aliens suffered no consequences before carrying out the bombings.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the FBI arrested a man named Brian Cole in connection with the January 6 pipe bombs on Thursday morning. Cole is 30 years old and from Woodbridge, Virginia.

Cole allegedly planted pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters on January 5, the night before the Capitol protest. The FBI previously released footage of him planting the bomb next to a park bench at the DNC.

The Daily Wire has now exclusively revealed that Cole ran a bail bonds company that not only worked to free illegals, but he also sued the Trump Administration to free them.

Cole and his father worked as bail bondsmen under multiple company names. One was StateWide Bonding, Inc., which handles immigration bonds, helping illegal immigrants evade prison.

In 2020, StateWide sued the Trump DHS over supposedly abusing illegals. The Court of Appeals in DC threw out the lawsuit in November 2020.

Two months later, Cole allegedly planted the bombs.

Family of Pipe Bomb Suspect Brian Cole Breaks Silence — Issues FIRST Statement After Explosive Arrest

Federal agents on Thursday arrested 30-year-old Florida man Brian Cole Jr., charging him with transporting an explosive device and attempted malicious destruction using explosive materials.

The arrest comes nearly five years after pipe bombs were discovered outside the RNC and DNC headquarters, a case that inexplicably stalled under the Biden administration.

At a press conference Thursday afternoon, Bondi credited investigators for “sifting through evidence that had been sitting at the FBI,” making clear that no new tips led to Cole’s identification.

“This investigation is ongoing,” Bondi said. “As we speak, search warrants are being executed, and there could be more charges to come.”

FBI Co-Deputy Director Dan Bongino delivered a blistering rebuke of Biden-era leadership, openly criticizing officials for “focusing on other things” instead of solving one of the most consequential domestic terror cases in modern political history.

“You’re not going to walk into our capital city, put down two explosive devices, and walk off into the sunset,” Bongino said.
“Not going to happen — we were going to track this person to the end of the Earth. There was no way he was getting away.”

Bongino confirmed that he assembled a multiagency investigative team that re-examined old evidence — evidence he strongly suggested was ignored or overlooked by prior leadership.

According to the criminal complaint, Cole allegedly bought:

  • Six 1” x 8” galvanized pipes — the exact size used in both IEDs
  • Black and galvanized endcaps matching the bomb components
  • White Walmart kitchen timers identical to those recovered from the devices
  • 9-volt batteries and connectors from Micro Center
  • Red and black 14-gauge electrical wire
  • Steel wool, used as part of the igniting mechanism

All of these items were purchased across northern Virginia between 2019 and 2020, and again—shockingly—after January 6th, when Cole allegedly continued purchasing timers, pipes, and batteries.

Cole’s cellphone had seven data transactions between 7:39 p.m. and 8:24 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2021.

These transactions occurred on cell tower sectors covering the exact path the bomber walked as captured on surveillance footage.

Surveillance shows the suspect placing the DNC device at 7:54 p.m. and the RNC device at 8:16 p.m.—perfectly mirroring the tower hits recorded on Cole’s phone.

Following the bombshell announcement, members of Cole’s family spoke briefly to reporters.

Men’s Journal reported:

The suspect’s grandmother, Loretta, told The New York Post: “He’s almost autistic-like because he doesn’t understand a lot of stuff. I hope he is not talking.” She also alleged: “He’s very naive…He would not hurt a fly. He’s just not that kind of person. I don’t believe this at all. He’s not a terrorist.”

The grandmother told The Post that Cole works for the family’s bail bondsman company, “Brian Cole Bail Bonds.” She added that he also worked for DoorDash for a time. “He doesn’t have any ties to DC,” she added. “I don’t even know how they included him in this.”

The suspect’s step-grandfather, Earl Donnette, “said in a brief phone call to NBC News that he spoke with the FBI about his step-grandson,” the network reported. However, Donnette declined to make additional comment, NBC News reported, and Brian Cole Sr., Cole’s dad, declined to make any comment at all, NBC News reported. According to NBC, investigators could be seen “on aerial footage blocking off the entrance to the suspect’s father’s business with police tape.”

“He’s very antisocial. Very,” a neighbor told The New York Post of Brian Cole Jr. “He keeps to himself.”

AG Bondi: Evidence Leading to J6 Pipe Bomber Arrest ‘Collecting Dust’ at Biden’s FBI for 4 Years

Evidence leading to the arrest of a suspect for planting pipe bombs at the DNC and RNC was “sitting there collecting dust” at the FBI during the four years of the Biden administration, Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed Thursday.

In a press conference Thursday afternoon, Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro and others praised the herculean months-long work to arrest a suspect after years of inactivity during Joe Biden’s administration.

Brian Cole Jr. was  arrested and charged with placing the pipe bombs at the RNC and the DNC on January 5, 2021. He was also charged with transporting an explosive device in interstate commerce and the attempted malicious destruction by means of explosive materials, with more charges likely to result from the ongoing investigation.

The arrest raises questions about the lack of progress made by the Biden administration under FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Bondi said the Trump administration prioritized the investigation after a “total lack of movement on this case in our nation’s capital,” which “undermined the public trust of our enforcement agencies.”

“This cold case languished for four years until Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino came to the FBI,” Bondi explained. “The FBI along with U.S. Attorney Piero and all of our prosecutors have worked tirelessly for months sifting through evidence that had been sitting at the FBI with the Biden administration for four long years.”

The damning evidence was in the FBI’s position before Trump took office, Bondi emphasized. “There was no new tip, there was no new witness, just good, diligent police work and prosecutorial work,” she explained.

Patel reiterated that the FBI “did not discover any new information,” adding that the FBI brought in a new team that “reexamined every piece of evidence, sifted through all the data, something that the prior administration refused and failed to do.”

Bongino suggested the prior regime deliberately deprioritized the pipe bomber investigation, even as Biden and Democrats across the county campaigned on their narrative of the pipe bomber.

“This is what it’s like when you work for a President who tells you to go get the bad guys and stop focusing on other extraneous things not related to law enforcement,” Bongino said of President Donald Trump, also praising Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.

Patel would not elaborate on the potential motivations of the suspect, although reports Thursday revealed Cole had begun planning his attack months before the November 2020 election – a stark contrast to Democrats’ framing that the bomber was a Trump supporter motivated by Biden’s win and Trump’s questioning of the results.

Although the Biden FBI possessed the necessary evidence, the rejuvenated investigation under Trump remained daunting.

The FBI identified Cole based on his phone pings and transaction history on his credit cards, according to an affidavit:

The FBI has identified one bank checking account and six credit cards (the “Accounts”) used by COLE. The FBI obtained records for the checking account and three credit cards for the time period January 2018 to January 2021. Three additional credit cards were obtained for the time period of January 2018 to November 2025. The FBI reviewed the transaction history for all of these Accounts.

Bombshell Report Reveals Shocking New Motive for DC National Guard Shooter

The shooting of two National Guard members in Washington last week has taken a jarring new turn, and the emerging theory about the gunman’s motive points to a far deeper national security threat.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the 29-year-old Afghan national accused of killing Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom and critically wounding Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, had served alongside U.S. forces in Afghanistan before Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal. If you’ve been wondering why someone who once helped American troops would suddenly target National Guardsmen, you’re not the only one asking that question. Federal investigators now believe the Taliban may have blackmailed Lakanwal into carrying out the attack.

“U.S. intelligence is investigating information that a Taliban hit squad threatened to murder Rahmanullah Lakanwal’s family in Afghanistan unless he opened fire on American troops in the nation’s capital,” reports the Daily Beast. “But investigators are asking themselves why a man who was vetted by two administrations, and with no criminal record and no history of extremism, should drive across the country on an apparent suicide mission to shoot at heavily armed U.S. military personnel with a revolver.”

One line of inquiry they are seriously pursuing, according to sources with knowledge of the investigation, is that Lakanwal was made an offer he could not refuse. Either he accepted the mission, or his family in Afghanistan would be beaten, murdered, and possibly beheaded.

Lakanwal was a member of the Afghan Scorpion Forces working closely with the CIA as a GPS tracking specialist. He helped the U.S. military escape from Kabul in the shambolic retreat from Afghanistan in August 2021. Between August 14 and 30, more than 123,000 people were airlifted from Kabul Airport. The Afghan fighter joined one of the last flights because he served the United States and due to the danger he would be in if he were left behind.

About 700 Scorpion Forces members are understood to be detained in Afghanistan because they worked with America and its allies.

According to the report, the fallout from Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan is still unfolding. In the five years since the pullout, a Taliban military unit known as Yarmouk 60 has been hunting down—and in many cases killing—Afghans who worked with the United States and its allies. Earlier this year, a member of the “Afghan Triples,” an elite special forces unit created and backed by the U.K. to fight the Taliban, escaped to Germany in hopes of bringing his family to safety. Yarmouk 60 responded by murdering his wife and father, along with four of his children, including two young girls who were beheaded.
