UFO alert in Türkiye’s Gaziantep: Flights halted

Flights were suspended at Gaziantep Airport on Monday night after pilots reported a luminous, unidentified flying object (UFO).

At around 10:00 p.m. local time (GMT+3), pilots of an aircraft reported spotting a bright, unidentified object at an altitude of approximately 8,000 to 10,000 feet.

UFO alert in Türkiye’s 6th biggest city led to a brief chaos at the airport. Gaziantep is located in southeastern Türkiye, near the Syrian border.

The object, which did not appear on radar, was reported to air traffic control, prompting authorities to halt flights as a precaution.

One Turkish expert claimed that the light might be coming from a Starlink satellite.

Bizarre ‘Plasma Jellybean’ UFO Spotted Over Oklahoma City

An Oklahoma City man captured mystifying footage and photos of a bizarre UFO that he likened to a jellybean filled with plasma. According to a local media report, the odd sighting occurred on January 25th as Chris Frederick and his wife were about to head out for dinner. Their Saturday evening excursion came to a sudden stop when they reached their driveway and received a call from a concerned neighbor who had spotted something unusual in the sky. A buzz soon swept through the neighborhood, recounted Frederick, “before long, we were all standing out in the street and had our phones out.”

What captivated the witnesses was a peculiar glowing object behaving strangely in the sky. In footage captured by Frederick, he can be heard describing the UFO as the sighting unfolded. “I don’t hear anything, and something is moving in erratic ways,” he marveled, “it’s in the shape of a jellybean, but the interior was like plasma.” The couple’s dinner plans were now decidedly delayed as a curious Frederick decided to deploy his drone to get a better look at the aerial anomaly. However, adding another layer of mystery to the case, his UAV immediately experienced a series of weird issues.

“My controller talks to me,” he recalled, “and it said, ‘unable to take off, electromagnetic interference.'” After several subsequent attempts to launch the drone, he finally managed to get the craft airborne to about 1,000 feet beneath the UFO. From there, the UAV snapped three tantalizing photos, because the device’s video capability was inexplicably disabled, before almost immediately running out of power. “It had a fresh battery in it, it has a 35-minute flight life,” Frederick said, “and as soon as I took those three pictures, my controller said, ‘low battery, return to home.'”

House Republicans demand UFO transparency

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and some of President Trump’s most vocal supporters in the House do not agree on much, but they are in agreement that the government is hiding critical information on UFOs — also known as unidentified anomalous phenomena or UAP — from the American public.

Schumer and key House Republicans say that the government must come clean on what it knows about this decades-long mystery, which has seen 80 years of highly credible, consistent, multi-witness reporting of objects exhibiting extreme performance characteristics.

On Feb. 11, House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) announced the establishment of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), a member of the bipartisan UAP Caucus, will lead the effort.

Comer and Luna sent letters to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe requesting a briefing on all UAP-related records in their possession, with the ultimate goal of “deliver[ing] transparency to the American people.”

Notably, Rubio and Ratcliffe, along with National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Trump himself, have made remarkable statements about UAP in recent years.

Ditto for Schumer. Shortly after Trump signed an executive order declassifying all government records on the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., Schumer challenged Trump to extend the same transparency to UAP.

Brits who took best UFO picture ever ‘vanished’ as MoD insider addresses ‘assassination’ claims

A Ministry of Defence (MoD) insider has addressed claims of a “deep state assassination” after Brits reportedly took the best UFO photo ever before they “vanished.”

Chefs were out walking in the Cairngorms mountains, in the Scottish Highlands, in August 1990, when they took photos of a diamond-like object in the sky as what appeared to be a military jet flew by. But after sending the image to now-Mirror affiliate the Daily Record, the pair vanished without a trace and the image did not emerge until it was published by the Mail in 2022.

A former MoD insider who worked on the department’s UFO desk shared his view about what he believes happened with the chefs. Nick Pope said he believed a “fairly robust” conversation happened with the pair in a bid to keep them from sharing more information.

But he told The Guardian: “The idea that these people were assassinated by the deep state – that’s just nonsense.” He made the comments after a former colleague of the chefs at Fisher’s Hotel, in Pitlockry, told the Mail it was as thought the pair had “vanished off the face of the Earth.”

Richard Grieve claimed the duo had been left “visibly shaken” after they were approached by two people dressed in black during a shift. He said the pair then vanished for four weeks.

It is also not known why the Daily Record did not run the photos. Mr Pope, who worked on the UFO desk for three years from 1991 and previously claimed the ministry “buried” the photo. He told the 2024 UFO documentary The Program that the Daily Record’s article would have “blown our standard line out of the water.”

He said: “Therefore, we wanted to bury this – and we did. All the photographs and all the negatives were acquired by the Ministry of Defence and they were never seen again.”

Anna Paulina Luna to lead task force on declassification of JFK assassination records, Epstein client list

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., will lead a new task force focused on the declassification of federal secrets – including records related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and other documents in the public interest, Fox News Digital has learned. 

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., appointed Luna to chair the “Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets.”

Luna is expected to focus on examining the declassification of materials in the public interest, including the client list of Jeffrey Epstein, and files relating to Sept. 11, 2001, COVID-19 origins, UFOs and more. 

Fox News Digital has learned that Comer and Luna are sending letters to necessary agencies to kick off the declassification investigations.

Scientists studying ‘alien mummies’ from Peru claim bodies are ‘100% real’ after new details emerge

The ‘alien mummies’ discovered in Peru have largely been dismissed as a hoax by the scientific community, but researchers studying the specimens believe otherwise.

Dr José Zalce, former director of the Mexican Navy Medical Department, has analyzed 21 of the strange bodies, finding ‘fingerprints, bone wear, dental formations, muscular features and internal organs – proving they’re 100 percent real biological organisms.’

He even claimed some were pregnant, ‘making them impossible to fake or replicate fraudulently,’ said Zalce who has testified under oath that the mummies are real following his six years of work with them.

Recent scans of a ‘pregnant’ mummy revealed what appeared to be an intact fetus that had the same physical characteristics of the corpses, which the team said was proof of authenticity.

The mummies first exploded on the scene when controversial UFO enthusiast and journalist Jaime Maussan ushered two small beings into Mexico Congress in 2023.

He claimed they were not part of ‘our terrestrial evolution’, with 30 percent of their genetic composition still ‘unknown.’

Dr Zalce and his team, however,  have performed X-rays, CT scans with 3D reconstruction, fluoroscopy, DNA analysis, forensic fingerprinting and tissue sample examinations on each body for the last six years.

‘These confirm with 100 percent certainty their organic, biofunctional, and skeletal anatomical authenticity,’ Dr Zalce told DailyMail.com.

UFO is “moving at hundreds of miles an hour underwater,” Republican congressman says

Republican Rep. Tim Burchett said in an interview Wednesday that an admiral — whom he did not identify — had told him of an unidentified craft moving at incredible speeds in the sea.

“They tell me something’s moving at hundreds of miles an hour underwater… as large as a football field, underwater,” the Tennessee congressman told former Republican congressman Matt Gaetz, who now hosts a show on right-wing news outlet One America News.

“This was a documented case and I have an admiral telling me this stuff.”

Burchett, known for claims that the U.S. government is hiding existence of UFOs and other alien activity, said anything is possible given “the vastness of God’s great universe.”

However, he told Americans not to worry about the suspected extraterrestrials’ extraordinary advances.

“I’m not worried about them harming me,” he said. “I mean, with that capabilities, they would have barbecued us a long time ago.” No evidence has been produced of intelligent life beyond Earth.

However, Congress has taken an increasingly serious look at reports of mystery flying objects, treating the once widely mocked topic of UFOs — now often dubbed Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) — into a serious issue.

In March 2024, the Pentagon released a report that it had no proof of UFOs, saying that many suspicious sightings turned out to be merely weather balloons, spy planes, satellites and other normal activity.

The Pentagon rejected claims made at a congressional hearing in 2023 by a former Air Force intelligence officer that the U.S. government had recovered a series of crashed unidentified aircraft and even non-human “biologics” over the decades.

Schumer calls on Trump to declassify government files on UFOs

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) says President Trump should declassify secret government archives about unidentified flying objects (UFOs), also known as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), in the spirit of greater government transparency.

“Now do UFOs,” Schumer wrote on social platform X in a repost of the White House’s announcement that Trump has ordered government files on John F. Kennedy, the nation’s 35th president, Robert F. Kennedy, his brother, and Martin Luther King Jr. to be declassified.

Schumer and Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) introduced a bill in the last Congress to require government records related to UAPs be disclosed unless officials provide reasons for why it should remain classified.

The provisions to require information related to UAPs or UFOs be made public, however, were later stripped from the annual defense authorization bill.

Schumer took up the mantle for calling for greater transparency for government records on UFOs from the late Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who sponsored a project to investigate incidents surrounding unexplained aerial phenomena.

UFOs and drones: How to prepare for the ultimate unknown

Even if you don’t “want to believe,” it is time to prepare for it. 

Throughout most of human history, those believing in UFOs were considered crackpots and never quite taken seriously. In recent years, though, attitudes have started to change — likely due to mounting evidence of unresolved mysteries and credible voices stepping forward to share their experiences and demand answers.

With UFO hearings on Capitol Hill and the recent alarm over unexplained drone sightings in the Northeast, something has shifted in American society.

At the heart of the mainstreaming of UFOs is journalist Ralph Blumenthal, who retired from his 45-year career with the New York Times back in 2009. When journalist Leslie Kean approached him with a lead, he jumped back into the fray to collaborate on a story that would shift the nature of UFO discourse. 

A Pentagon official named Luis Elizondo was threatening to resign in frustration and go public with information regarding a secretive working group within the Pentagon that had been set up to investigate UFOs. 

“At the time, the Pentagon was not officially in the UFO business,” recounts Blumenthal. “No one knew that they were studying UFOs, so it was quite a revelation.” 

Blumenthal reached out to New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet about the subject and, to his surprise, got the green light to run with the story. The result was a blockbuster, front-page story published in December 2017, specifically delving into the Pentagon’s “mysterious UFO program.”

“It was the first time a mainstream publication was really interested in UFOs, and it played a huge role in making it respectable,” says Blumenthal. “Until then, the subject was considered fringy. We did follow-up stories on pilots who had experience with UFOs, stories on near misses and even touched on the recovery of crashed UFOs and the materials that have been recovered.”

Eventually, UFOs were renamed UAPs — unidentified anomalous phenomena — since the sightings weren’t just airborne but coming from the ocean as well.

A blizzard of government working groups boasting an alphabet soup of acronyms like AARO (All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office) has come to light since then and it is now apparent that, despite decades of denials, the U.S. government has been studying the phenomena for years. Blumenthal points out that “all the important information is classified, so there was only so far we could go with our reporting.”

Despite the seismic shift in attitude, so much remains beyond our understanding. With the government acknowledging that there are crafts in the skies and emerging from the seas that they don’t understand — and can’t credibly attribute to human technology — it’s time for both the public and private sectors to take steps in preparing for scenarios that could potentially disrupt daily life.
