Area 51 Cover Story Raises More Questions than Answers

The US Department of Defense has released a report claiming the Pentagon ran a decades-long misinformation campaign to hide classified operations at Area 51. However, this newest confession of lying to the public begs the question: is the story of a cover-up just a bigger cover-up of something more mysterious?

According to the investigation, officials disseminated doctored UFO photographs to nearby residents starting in the 1980s. This is one of several admissions that seemingly debunk specific sightings and material proof of extraterrestrials around Area 51. One retired colonel even stated that his assigned mission was to spread conspiracy theories in order to hide the true purpose of operations at the site, yet there are still eyewitnesses who have described crafts maneuvering in ways not possible with modern technology. These sightings occurred long before and after the height of military testing, meaning it’s possible the US is taking credit for advanced technology that’s not its own.

Ironically, the government’s attempt to end the mystery may have only deepened it. Since the start of congressional hearings regarding UAP a few years ago, the public has met each round of disclosure not with relief but with renewed suspicion. Last year the Pentagon claimed there was no evidence of any cover-up, a statement they’re now contradicting. The more convoluted the official narrative becomes, the more it’s taken with a grain of salt.

UFO sleuths want fewer secrets in Trump-era investigations

After generations of stigma and secrecy around sightings of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), or what the public calls UFOs, investigators probing hundreds of unsolved cases say the second Trump administration could be a turning point for transparency.

“We’re trying to get as much of the raw evidence out as we can without putting our partners’ equities at risk,” said Jon Kosloski, director of the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office, the government-wide task force leading research into mysterious sightings.

“The office has hired additional personnel and we’re investing in automated security review software that can redact the sensitive information from videos,” he said of an effort to release more currently classified material related to the probes.

Congress established the Resolution Office in 2022 to “detect, identify and attribute” mysterious objects of interest in the air, outer space, and underwater, with special focus on mitigating potential threats to military operations and national security.

More than 1800 cases have been reviewed by the Pentagon so far, with the vast majority ultimately resolved as likely balloons, drones, debris or animals based on a comprehensive review of available data.

Kosloski says “several dozen” cases remain anomalous even after rigorous analysis of evidence. They continue to receive new reports of anomalies by military service members and the general public every month.

“It’s a potential problem, a national security problem, safety of flight issue,” Kosloski told ABC News. “We seem to have the full support of the administration” in pursuing answers.

Scientists probing ‘alien’ mummies make shocking discovery inside womb of corpse

The mystery surrounding the bizarre ‘alien‘ mummies found in Peru has deepened after scientists claimed they discovered a fetus inside the womb of one of the ‘corpses’. 

Dozens of mummified bodies were found in the Nazca desert in 2017 by a local named Leandro Rivera, sparking years of investigation into their origins.

The other-worldly figures were later found to have metal implants in their three-fingered hands and elongated heads.

However, other scientists who claimed to have analyzed the specimens determined the ‘mummies’ were dolls made from animal bones fused with modern glue.

But Dr David Ruiz Vela, a lead expert investigating the alleged remains, has now revealed that his team discovered a fetus inside a mummy named Montserrat while analyzing the remains at a radiology center in Lima.

Dr Ruiz Vela believes Montserrat died 1,200 years ago.

CT scans captured the ‘fetus’ lying on its back, with its head down near the belly area and chest with its arms closer to the pelvic region.

Scientists suggested its bones were still soft, just starting to harden, when Montserrat died, leaving parts of the spine and ribs unable to fuse together.

Mysterious ‘UFO base’ uncovered by CIA becomes new US alien hotspot

A ‘UFO base’ mentioned in a declassified CIA document has fueled a surge in sightings, turning Mount Hayes into one of America’s top alien hotspots.

Rising over 8,000 feet, Mount Hayes sits within the so-called Alaska Triangle, a region notorious for unexplained disappearances and paranormal activity.

However, the CIA has never confirmed the alien base and the US government’s stance is that extraterrestrial life does not exist. 

Locals have reported streaks of colored lights, orbs traveling at high speed, and mysterious vanishing people. 

One report came from Jared Augustin, a former security officer, who claimed he saw a glowing orb hovering in the night sky near Mount Hayes before it suddenly split into three.

‘It was a UFO, of extraterrestrial origin,’ Augustin told DMAX UK, adding that he stood frozen, shaking as the bizarre sight unfolded.

Theories about alien activity have led the public to scour Google Maps for signs of the secret base.

Some conspiracy theorists claim there’s missing satellite data over Mount Hayes, allegedly to hide the base’s location.

‘Wow, that’s a big coincidence, in a very specific shape,’ one Reddit user commented, pointing to a rectangular patch seemingly missing from the mountain on Google Maps.

Mount Hayes is located within an area known for unexplained disappearances and paranormal activity.

Locals have aimed trail cameras at Mount Hayes, hoping to capture proof that the area is a UFO hotspot.

In an episode of History Channel’s Missing in Alaska, a local resident named Wilbur shared footage he believed showed an alien craft.

The video captured a glowing green light hovering over Mount Hayes. Within seconds, it appeared to vanish behind the mountain.

Investigators said the object had ‘hovering capabilities like a helicopter, but could also reverse direction instantly’ — something no known aircraft can do.

Based on its position and movement, the team estimated the object’s drop speed to be just over Mach 1 (the speed of sound).

In addition to mysterious airborne sightings, more than 2,000 people have vanished in the area since the 1970s.

Notable incidents include the 1972 disappearance of a plane carrying US House Majority Leader Hale Boggs, which vanished en route from Anchorage to Juneau.

Another Layer of Nuance to the UFO Mystery: Baffling Otherworldly Encounters with Military Naval Vessels

Whereas many people might imagine a scene over a quiet country road, or possibly from the balcony of a high-rise apartment building in a metropolis-like city, or even from a moving aircraft, the fact is there are many sightings on record that occur over the seas, oceans, and other vast water networks of our planet. Although actual statistics differ, it is widely agreed that more than half of all UFO sightings occur over or near water. With this in mind, we might imagine that many of the ships and submarines, particularly military ones, would have encountered these otherworldly vehicles – and we would be right.

As usual, we will not have the time to explore every case; in fact, we only have time and space to scratch the surface of such encounters here, which could fill up entire volumes in their own right, and those are just the sightings from the modern UFO age. We will, though, explore some of the most interesting and detailed UFO encounters that have involved naval vessels in various stretches of water around the planet.

Without a doubt, one of the strangest and thought-provoking of these marine encounters was relayed in the book Military Encounters with Extraterrestrials: The Real War of the Worlds by Frank Joseph, and occurred in the late 1980s when the Cold War, albeit reduced in tensions, was still very much unfolding. According to the report, which came through an anonymous crew member of the US Navy submarine, the USS Memphis, the incident occurred ahead of a NASA space shuttle launch, with the submarine patrolling the waters around the launch site ahead of the mission.

On this particular night – October 24th going into October 25th, 1989 – the USS Memphis was around 150 miles off the coast of Florida, cruising at a depth of around 500 feet. While the mission had been completely textbook so far, on this particular evening, they were experiencing all manner of problems with their electronics. As the witness recalled, the crew quickly realized the “ship was malfunctioning…the tanks were blowing” and the “navigations ability and communication (were) totally lost!” Eventually, an order was given to bring the submarine to a stop so the crew could assess what was happening. However, moments later, the controls in the reactor began to malfunction, and orders were issued to shut it down, switch to diesel engines, and surface immediately.

As soon as the vessel broke the surface of the water, the witness made his way to his watch station. He looked out and could see that the night sky was now glowing “red like a neon sign” as heavy rain came down from above. Then, only moments after first looking out, he noticed a “large, inverted V-shaped” object moving on the port (left-hand) side of the submarine. The witness turned to the executive officer who was with him, who told him to remain at his post while he informed the captain. Several moments later, the captain arrived at the watch station.

By this point, using a laser range finder, they had determined that their vessel was around 600 feet from the nearest point of the strange craft, which was approximately 650 feet from their location. Moreover, they estimated that the furthest point of the object was around 3500 feet from them, suggesting that it was, in total, around half a mile wide.

UFO striking fighter jet is among swarm of mystery objects spotted near US military sites in Arizona: reports

A UFO that struck and damaged a US fighter jet is just one of a swarm of mystery objects buzzing around Air Force training ranges in Arizona, according to multiple reports.

One of the unidentified flying objects hit the clear bubble “canopy” over the head of a pilot in a $63 million F-16 Viper jet in January 2023, damaging it and temporarily grounding the plane, according to Federal Aviation Administration documents first reported by the War Zone.

The military jet was struck midair by “an orange-white UAS,” or “uncrewed aerial system,” the FAA documents said. The term refers to drones.

Three more UAS encounters were flagged a day later, the outlet reported.

“What I can tell you is that there has been a lot of activity, a lot of people reporting a lot of things out of Arizona, particularly on the border” with Mexico, former Pentagon investigator Luis Elizondo told News Nation this month.

Border Patrol Agent Reports Witnessing UFOs in Arizona

Government officials have reported seeing a wide range of UAP along Arizona’s border with Mexico. In an interview that aired on May 10, News Nation’s Ross Coulthart sat down with whistleblower Bob Thompson to discuss these sightings and their implications for national security.

“I’ve seen orbs, I’ve seen strange lights that were bright and hovering… A lot of stuff at night,” Thompson stated. As a US Border Patrol agent, he has access to highly sensitive equipment including infrared sensors and night-vision goggles. “[These UAP] were not showing visible forms of propulsion, even with goggles,” he said.

Thompson shared that once, while sitting in a vehicle with his supervisor, he saw two strange objects suddenly appear in the night sky. His sightings mirror other ones reported by both military and commercial pilots, many of whom have raised concerns about potential collisions.

“Could it be something the military is testing? It’s a distinct possibility,” Thompson admitted, acknowledging that his area of patrol is close to top-secret government sites, such as the Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range. There have also been instances of Mexican cartels using drones to transport drugs into the US. However, Thompson claimed the objects he’s seen do not resemble drones. According to him, the crafts “were cigar-shaped and triangles.”

Former Defense Officials Raise Concerns About Unexplained Drone And UAP Threats To U.S. Airspace

Former senior defense officials issued stark warnings to lawmakers Thursday about intensifying threats posed by unattributed drone incursions and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) reported around the U.S. — particularly over military bases, assets, and nuclear facilities.

“I don’t think the public is aware of the extent of our airspace vulnerabilities and failures, and the degree to which they’ve already been exploited and are being exploited today, and the challenge that we face in trying to sort this out,” Christopher Mellon, the former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence, said during an event hosted on Capitol Hill by the UAP Disclosure Fund and the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.

Across multiple sessions at the hourslong summit, Mellon and other national security and research experts — including Dr. Avi Loeb, a Harvard professor, and retired Rear Adm. Tim Gallaudet, former oceanographer of the Navy — spotlighted recent incidents involving UAP and drones impacting military and civilian infrastructure. 

They also called on Congress to introduce new investments and proposals to help confront challenges associated with the Pentagon’s detection capabilities and what they view as the over-classification of certain UAP records and data.

The U.S. government has a long, complicated history dealing with technologies observed to perform in ways that seem to transcend what’s possible with contemporary capabilities. But with mounting pressure from the public and high-profile proponents over the past decade, Congress has made a series of recent moves to destigmatize the UAP topic, and more strategically investigate perplexing encounters with unidentifiable craft — including by requiring the Pentagon to launch the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) via the fiscal 2023 National Defense Authorization Act.

At the event Thursday, Mellon and other expert panelists praised that recent progress, but argued that further coordination and accountability measures are needed.

“One of my career frustrations in the intelligence community has been that we have incredible sensors that are far more than $1 billion dollars, and we have a great many of them, and they are collecting information today which is directly pertinent to this topic,” Mellon said. “But that information is not reaching Congress. It’s not reaching the scientific community. In many cases, I don’t think it’s reaching AARO, which is the office that Congress established to study and evaluate this phenomenon.” 

He recommended that the lawmakers in attendance consider mandating a U.S. government- and military-wide assessment of sensor systems collecting data that could support ongoing UAP examinations — as well as an evaluation of classification issues that are preventing the release of unclassified data.

Mellon noted that shortly after he provided three unclassified videos of reported UAP incursions captured by military personnel to the New York Times in 2017, “somebody created the classification guide” inside the government and “we suddenly said, ‘in contradiction to the executive order on classification signed by the president, that essentially, anything having to do with UAP is now suddenly mystically classified because it might damage national security.’”

Top ex-NASA official claims he saw footage of large, white flying saucer marked with Air Force logo: report

A retired NASA flight surgeon said he saw footage of a 20-foot-wide flying saucer emblazoned with the US Air Force logo performing deft maneuvers in a military hangar more than 30 years ago, according to a report.

Dr. Gregory Rogers, former NASA Chief Flight Surgeon and Air Force Major, came forth with his testimony on the 1992 event after a recent uptick in whistleblowers in the military community on the secretive projects investigating, recovering — and perhaps crafting — anomalous flying objects, according to the Daily Mail.

“I know exactly what I saw that day, and it was in no fashion a conventional flying vehicle,” Rogers, 68, told the Mail.

The space doc relayed that he was stationed at Cape Canaveral, Florida, in 1992, conducting an inspection when an Air Force major approached him in a hallway and offered to show him something that would “knock his socks off,” according to the report.

Rogers was then taken into a room, where the major shut the blinds and locked the door before pulling up CCTV footage that showed a white flying saucer purportedly owned and operated by the US Air Force utilizing unknown engineering, he said.

Pentagon whistleblower fears execution after revealing bombshell UFO program secretly studying alien tech

The whistleblower behind a stunning report submitted to Congress – exposing what he claims is a secret Pentagon program tracking unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) – has now revealed his identity and says he fears for his future in speaking out.

Matthew Brown is a former U.S. national security official who previously served as a Policy Advisor for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, a Technical Advisor for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security, and a Program Advisor for the Department of State. 

He publicly identified himself as the whistleblower in WEAPONIZED Episode 74 – a podcast released Tuesday that is hosted by investigative journalists and UFO experts Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp.

Brown is the author of the Immaculate Constellation Field Report, a document entered into the Congressional Record earlier this year that alleges the Executive Branch has been secretly managing UAP programs for decades – without congressional oversight.

‘This is absolutely what I did not want to do,’ Brown said during the podcast. ‘I am, on a personal level, giving up the future that I made for myself and was going to try to make for a family. My hope is that the stakes are not paid out, but they are life imprisonment and the possibility of execution.’

Brown, who held Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearances with a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI Poly) during his government career, is bound by strict secrecy agreements that carry steep penalties if classified information is improperly disclosed.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Corbell said those fears are not unfounded – even if rarely enforced to the extreme.

‘When you’re in the classified world, you sign your life away,’ Corbell explained. ‘There are serious consequences for leaking national security information – and yes, on paper, that includes life imprisonment or even capital punishment in rare cases tied to espionage.’
