Taking Meds You Don’t Need To Spite Trump While Pregnant Makes You A Horrible Mother

arlier this week, President Trump cautioned pregnant women against taking Tylenol unless it is medically necessary, as the active ingredient, acetaminophen, may potentially increase the risk of autism. In response, numerous pregnant women have taken to social media to share videos of themselves, appearing healthy while defiantly taking Tylenol as a demonstration of their trust in science. While their actions may not affect Trump, they could pose risks to their babies.

The prevalence of autism diagnoses among American children is alarmingly increasing. According to a recent report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2022, 1 in 31 children aged 8 years had been diagnosed with autism. Some attribute this rise to heightened public awareness and more effective screening methods.

When Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took office as secretary of Health and Human Services, he made a firm commitment to uncover the underlying causes of the rising autism rates. After collaborating with a team of researchers for several months, Kennedy presented his findings to President Trump. The research indicated a link between acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, and autism. This conclusion was drawn from several existing studies, including a review conducted by Dr. Andrea Baccarelli, a dean at Harvard University’s School of Public Health.

The finding prompted a major news conference on Sept. 22, in which President Trump, joined by Secretary Kennedy and esteemed health advisers, made an urgent public announcement. Trump strongly advised pregnant women to avoid Tylenol unless absolutely necessary (the medication has long been the only go-to remedy for fever reduction during pregnancy). Additionally, Secretary Kennedy urged doctors to exercise their “best judgment” in prescribing acetaminophen to pregnant women, recommending the “lowest effective dose” for the shortest duration required. This guidance emphasizes the importance of safeguarding the health of both mother and child during this critical time.

Since the news conference, netizens uncovered a 2017 Twitter post from Tylenol, which stated: “We actually don’t recommend using any of our products while pregnant. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns today.”

President Trump’s caution regarding a possible connection between Tylenol and autism sparked immediate backlash. Detractors highlighted another study that found no link between acetaminophen and autism. The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board accused Secretary Kennedy of “carrying water for his friends in the plaintiffs bar” and raised concerns about Baccarelli’s objectivity, given his role as an expert witness in an ongoing lawsuit against Tylenol’s manufacturer, Kenvue Inc.

Questioning the integrity of a study or the motivations of scientists is often a part of scientific discourse. Since scientific understanding is not always definitive, these debates are not only necessary but also crucial, because they ensure a more thorough examination of the facts and guide us towards truth, ultimately benefiting public health and safety.

Kamala Harris Slams Trump for Pardoning ‘the Fentanyl Dealer Ross Ulbricht’

I confess I haven’t read 107 Days, Kamala Harris’ new memoir about her short-lived presidential campaign, cover to cover. But I did read at least one sentence, and it was a doozy.

“The Justice Department is going after Trump’s enemies list,” the former vice president writes, “while Trump supporters have been pardoned and released: January 6 rioters who attacked police, the fentanyl dealer Ross Ulbricht, numerous tax cheats.”

Ah, Ross Ulbricht, the fentanyl dealer who was not convicted of actually dealing fentanyl—or any drug—himself.

Ulbricht was sentenced to life in prison for his role in operating the Silk Road, an online marketplace where people could buy and sell illicit drugs. “By punishing Ulbricht as if he personally distributed narcotics, the government set a dangerous precedent for internet platforms and personal liability in the digital age,” wrote Editor in Chief Katherine Mangu-Ward in the April issue of Reason. “Pressure to hold platform operators liable for everything from misinformation to sex work has grown in the past decade as Ulbricht and his supporters—especially those in the libertarian and cryptocurrency communities—fought for his freedom.”

Ulbricht ultimately obtained that freedom, as Harris notes, from President Donald Trump, who granted Ulbricht a pardon after he had served 11 years in prison. One need not even approve of Ulbricht’s conduct to understand that clemency here was not the scandal Harris portrays.

His sentence was, for one, grossly disproportionate to his offenses: a double life sentence without the possibility of parole. The only way he would have otherwise been released was in a body bag. Serving more than a decade in prison is no small thing.

But his motivations should also matter, which Harris obscures by reducing Ulbricht to “the fentanyl dealer.”

“The Silk Road began as Ulbricht’s idealistic attempt to make the black market just a little safer by creating a place where people could vet buyers,” notes Reason‘s Zach Weissmueller, “avoid risky in-person transactions, find untainted drugs, and share safety information.” Indeed, Ulbricht, who has expressed remorse multiple times for any harm he caused, has said he “was trying to do something good.”

Harris isn’t wrong that Trump has issued pardons to some undeserving recipients. She could have chosen to highlight Scott Jenkins, for instance, the Virginia sheriff who was convicted of accepting cash bribes from businessmen in exchange for appointing them as auxiliary deputy sheriffs, a sworn law enforcement position, so they could take advantage of the special privileges associated with that role. Jenkins was sentenced to ten years in prison but did not serve a day of that. Why? “No MAGA left behind,” said Pardon Attorney Ed Martin on X.

Even still, Harris is entitled to her opinion on whether or not Ulbricht succeeded in his goal to “do something good.” Her throwaway line about him in her new book, however, is a reminder that no matter how many times she has tried to position herself as someone who supports redemption and sensible criminal justice reform—and to run away from her tough-on-crime past—she is still ever the prosecutor.

Trump Calls For the Arrest of UN Escalator Saboteurs, Demands Investigation Into Three “Very Sinister Events”

President Trump on Wednesday evening called for the UN staffers who intentionally stopped the escalators at the United Nations this week to be jailed.

Trump also demanded an investigation into three “very sinister events” that took place at the United Nations.

“A REAL DISGRACE took place at the United Nations yesterday — Not one, not two, but three very sinister events! First, the escalator going up to the Main Speaking Floor came to a screeching halt. It stopped on a dime. It’s amazing that Melania and I didn’t fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first. It was only that we were each holding the handrail tightly or, it would have been a disaster. This was absolutely sabotage, as noted by a day’s earlier “post” in The London Times that said UN workers “joked about turning off an escalator.” The people that did it should be arrested! Then, as I stood before a Television crowd of millions of people all over the World, and important Leaders in the Hall, my teleprompter didn’t work. It was stone cold dark. I immediately thought to myself, “Wow, first the escalator event, and now a bad teleprompter. What kind of a place is this?” I then proceeded to make a Speech without a teleprompter, which kicked in about 15 minutes later. The good news is the Speech has gotten fantastic reviews. Maybe they appreciated the fact that very few people could have done what I did. And third, after making the Speech, I was told that the sound was completely off in the Auditorium where the Speech was made, that World Leaders, unless they used the interpreters’ earpieces, couldn’t hear a thing. The first person I saw at the conclusion of the Speech was Melania, who was sitting right up front. I said, “How did I do?” And she said, “I couldn’t hear a word you said.” This wasn’t a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I’m sending a copy of this letter to the Secretary General, and I demand an immediate investigation. No wonder the United Nations hasn’t been able to do the job that they were put in existence to do. All security tapes at the escalator should be saved, especially the emergency stop button. The Secret Service is involved. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Pregnant Liberal Woman Suffers Fatal Tylenol Overdose After Trying to “Prove Trump Wrong” — Now Allegedly on Ventilator Fighting for Her Life: REPORT

Nicole Sirotek, founder of American Frontline Nurses, claimed that she received a frantic 4 a.m. call from a distraught husband whose pregnant wife is now on a ventilator after overdosing on Tylenol.

According to Sirotek, the woman, who was between 23 and 25 weeks pregnant, attempted to ingest massive amounts of Tylenol in an effort to “prove Donald Trump wrong” after his recent remarks linking acetaminophen use during pregnancy to autism.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump on Monday announced that the use of acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, can increase the risk of autism when used by pregnant women.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Tylenol is tied to autism, ADHD, and liver toxicity in children.

“Today, the FDA will issue a physician’s notice about the risk of acetaminophen during pregnancy and begin the process to initiate a safety label change,” Secretary Kennedy said. “There is a potential association between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes, including later diagnosis for ADHD and autism.”

Following the historic announcement, pregnant leftists took to TikTok to mock Trump and RFK Jr.’s warning about the drug. As one will see, X users collected several videos of these snarky libs popping Tylenol pills while acting like they’re performing some act of defiance.

Talk about the height of arrogance with little regard for the little human being inside of them.

Newsom Claims Trump is Trying to Rig the Midterms, Says ‘I Fear That We Will Not Have an Election in 2028’

California governor and likely Democrat presidential nominee Gavin Newsom has claimed that he is scared there will not be a 2028 election.

Newsom made the comments while speaking to Stephen Colbert on CBS’s “The Late Show” on Tuesday.

The governor began by discussing how a national divorce is “not an option.”

“Look, it’s not complicated. Divorce is not an option,” Newsom began. “I mean, at the end of the day, we got to figure out a way to live together and dance together across our differences.“

Newsom continued, “People need to understand what motivates them, how they keep winning in the context of how they keep organizing and building a coalition, particularly young man Charlie Kirk, and what he was able to do. So he was kind enough to fly out. We spent an hour and a half together.“

He explained how the Democrats need to figure out their weaknesses and “make up for our failures in the past.”

“So, look, I just I think it’s important to have those civil engagements. I think it’s important to dialog. It’s important to learn from your opponents, and it’s important to reconcile your weaknesses. As the Democratic Party, we have a lot of work to do to make up for our failures in the past.”

Newsom went on to claim that Trump is trying to rig the midterm elections, likely referring to redistricting efforts, and that he is scared that the next presidential election will not happen.

“We got crushed in this last election, and now we’re in a position where we are struggling to communicate. We’re struggling, to win back now, the majority in the House of Representatives. And that’s a big part of what I’m doing. Not just today in terms of the work out here, raising money, but also raising awareness around how Donald Trump is trying to rig the midterm elections and how I fear that we will not have an election in 2028. I really mean that. And the core of my soul, unless we wake up to the code red, what’s happening in this country, and we wake up soberly, to how serious this moment is.”

White House: Secret Service Launches Investigation Amid Reports UN Staffers Intentionally Stopped Escalator as Trump and First Lady Were Stepping On in Major Security Breach

The White House on Tuesday afternoon demanded an investigation amid reports UN staffers intentionally stopped the escalator as President Trump and First Lady Melania were stepping on in a major security breach.

“If someone at the UN intentionally stopped the escalator as the President and First Lady were stepping on, they need to be fired and investigated immediately,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said along with a report that UN staffers may turn off the escalators to make Trump walk up the stairs.

President Trump returned to the United Nations General Assembly stage in New York City for a major address to the General Assembly on Tuesday.

The President and First Lady Melania Trump arrived at approximately 8:50 am.

As TGP reported earlier, First Lady Melania and President Trump walked through the building and stepped on an escalator that was surrounded by people. There were two escalators going up to the next floor. Melania Trump stepped on the escalator on the left followed by President Trump. As soon as President Trump stepped on the escalator it came to a halt. However, the escalator on the right continued to operate.

Melania reacted quickly and started walking up the escalator stairs followed by President Trump and his entourage.

Pregnant Liberal Women Post Videos Downing Tylenol to Own Trump: This Is an ‘Attack on Women’

Some pregnant liberal women are posting videos of themselves downing acetaminophen — commonly known as Tylenol — following the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) announcement on Monday in which President Donald Trump recommended pregnant woman limit intake of the drug due to possible associations with an “increased risk of autism.”

Trump made the recommendation on Monday alongside Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz. Trump’s administration has made it clear from the beginning that they are determined to identify the possible causes in the stunning rise of autism in children in recent years, deeming it “among the most alarming public health developments in history.” Data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows that 1 in 31 children in the United States have autism.

“I think I can say that there are certain groups of people that don’t take vaccines and don’t take any pills that have no autism. That have no autism. Does that tell you something? That’s currently, is that a correct statement by the way?” Trump said, as Kennedy said “there are some studies that suggest that.”

“Yeah, with the Amish for example,” Kennedy said.

Trump then announced that the FDA will be “notifying physicians that the use of acetaminophen — which is basically commonly known as Tylenol, during pregnancy can be associated with a very increased risk of autism,” Trump said.

Some liberal women have used this announcement as a way to “own” Trump, making videos of themselves downing Tylenol.

In one video, a woman shows off her pill with the caption, “here’s [sic] me, a PREGNANT woman, taking TYLENOL because I believe in science and not someone who has no medical background,” she wrote, making no mention that Trump did not randomly make this announcement based on his own opinion.

Trump’s Vision of Broadcast Regulation Is a Threat to Conservatives

“When 97 percent of the stories are bad,” President Donald Trump declared on Friday, “it’s no longer free speech.” When TV networks “take a great story” and “make it bad,” he added, “I think that’s really illegal.”

Trump was wrong on both points. And in groping toward a justification for the regulatory threats that preceded Jimmy Kimmel’s expulsion from his late-night slot on ABC, Trump embraced a principle that historically was bad for conservatives—one they are apt to regret reviving.

“You have a network and you have evening shows, and all they do is hit Trump,” the president complained. “They’re licensed. They’re not allowed to do that.”

Trump made similar noises during his first administration, saying “network news has become so partisan, distorted and fake that licenses must be challenged and, if appropriate, revoked.” But Ajit Pai, the Trump-appointed chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), rejected that suggestion in no uncertain terms.

“I believe in the First Amendment,” Pai said. “The FCC under my leadership will stand for the First Amendment, and under the law the FCC does not have the authority to revoke a license of a broadcast station based on the content of a particular newscast.”

The difference this time around is that the FCC’s current chairman, Brendan Carr, clearly has no such constitutional compunctions. When Carr said broadcasters could face “fines or license revocation” if they continued to air Kimmel’s talk show, he preposterously invoked the FCC’s policy regarding “broadcast news distortion.”

That policy applies to a “broadcast news report” that was “deliberately intended to mislead viewers or listeners” about “a significant event.” Whatever you think of Kimmel’s intent when he erroneously suggested that the man accused of murdering conservative activist Charlie Kirk was part of the MAGA movement, a comedian’s monologue is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a “broadcast news report.”

Carr and Trump also alluded to broadcasters’ vague duty to operate in “the public interest.” Because broadcasters are “getting free airwaves from the United States government,” Trump thinks, they have a legal obligation to be fair and balanced.

That notion is reminiscent of the FCC’s defunct Fairness Doctrine, which required that broadcasters present contrasting views when they covered controversial issues. The FCC repudiated that policy during the Reagan administration, precisely because it impinged on First Amendment rights.

The Kennedy administration, for example, had deployed the Fairness Doctrine against the president’s political opponents. “Our massive strategy,” former Assistant Secretary of Commerce William Ruder acknowledged a decade later, “was to use the Fairness Doctrine to challenge and harass right-wing broadcasters and hope that the challenges would be so costly to them that they would be inhibited and decide it was too expensive to continue.”

Nixing the Fairness Doctrine allowed an efflorescence of political speech on talk radio, enabling the rise of influential conservative commentators such as Rush Limbaugh. Exhuming and extending that policy, as Carr and Trump seem to favor, would be short-sighted as well as constitutionally dubious.

Harris: Trump Is a ‘Tyrant’ Killing Capitalism to Stroke His ‘Fragile Ego’

Monday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” former Vice President Kamala Harris called President Donald Trump a “tyrant” for demanding concessions from law firms, universities and entertainment companies.

She claimed that destroys capitalism.

Harris said, “I am a lifelong public servant, and but I’ve worked closely with the private sector over many years, and I always believed that if push came to shove, those titans of industry would be guardrails for our democracy, for the importance of sustaining democratic institutions. One by one by one, they have been silent. They have been, you know, yes, I use the word feckless. They’re it’s not like they’re going to lose their yacht or their house in the Hamptons. And here’s the thing. democracy sustains capitalism. Capitalism thrives in a democracy and right now we are dealing with, as I called him at my speech on the ellipse, a tyrant. We used to compare the strength of our democracy to communist dictators. That’s what we’re dealing with right now in Donald Trump.”

She continued, “These titans of industry are not speaking up. Perhaps it is because his threats and the way he has used the weight of the federal government to take out vengeance on his critics is something that they fear.”

Harris added, “Perhaps it is because they want to please him and nominate him for a Nobel prize. Perhaps it’s because they want a merger approved, or they want to avoid an investigation. But at some point, they’ve got to stand up for the sake of the people who rely on all of these institutions to have integrity and at some point be the guardrails against a tyrant who is using the federal government to execute his whim and fancy because of a fragile ego.”

Weird: Kamala Accuses Trump of Being Communist Dictator – Forgets to Mention Her Father Was a Marxist Economist

The crazy lady who can’t string two sentences together is making the rounds this week to promote her new book.

During her MSNBC interview with Rachel Maddow, Kamala compared President Donald Trump, the most important free-market capitalist in the world today, to a communist dictator.

Kamala Harris:  A tyrant. We used to compare the strength of our democracy to communist dictators. That’s what we’re dealing with right now with Donald Trump.  And these titans of industry are not speaking up.

This is rich coming from the daughter of a communist.

Donald J. Harris is a Marxist economist who authored a book in 1978 titled, “Capital Accumulation and Income Distribution.”

REALLY? apparently she forgot that her father is a Marxist and so is she.. pic.twitter.com/Z0JTt3Suto

The apple did not fall far from the tree with Kamala.

But it is stunning that she accused Trump of being the communist – coming from today’s openly Marxist Democrat Party with leaders like AOC and New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani who is a member of the Democrat Socialists of America party.

Democrats are ALWAYS projecting.
