Goldman Sachs’ top lawyer accepted gifts from ‘Uncle Jeffrey’ Epstein, documents show

Goldman Sachs’ (GS.N), opens new tab top lawyer Kathryn Ruemmler accepted gifts from late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and advised him on how to address press inquiries regarding his crimes, according to a Reuters review of emails among millions of documents the U.S. Department of Justice released last week.

Ruemmler, who was also White House counsel during the Obama administration, referred to Epstein in emails as “Uncle Jeffrey” and received gifts from him including wine and a handbag, the documents show.

Ruemmler had a large number of communications with Epstein from 2014 to 2019, even after the disgraced financier’s 2008 guilty plea for procuring a person under the age of 18 for prostitution, the documents showed.

These communications included advising Epstein on how to respond to a media query in 2019 concerning the alleged special legal treatment he received because of his connections, the emails show.

“I was a defense attorney when I dealt with Jeffrey Epstein,” Ruemmler said in a statement on Tuesday. “I got to know him as a lawyer and that was the foundation of my relationship with him.

“I had no knowledge of any ongoing criminal conduct on his part, and I did not know him as the monster he has been revealed to be,” she continued. “These decade-old private emails you are selectively referencing and pruriently reporting on have nothing to do with my work at Goldman Sachs.”

Goldman spokesperson Tony Fratto said in an email that Epstein often offered unsolicited favors and gifts to many business contacts.

Goldman has backed Ruemmler in the past, with CEO David Solomon calling her “an excellent general counsel.”

Fratto has said Goldman understood the nature of Ruemmler’s prior job as a white-collar defense lawyer, and was satisfied after conducting its own diligence.

Hundreds of Bizarre References to ‘Pizza’ in New Epstein Documents Raise Eyebrows

Outside of perhaps Watergate, no “-gate” scandal has quite captured national attention quite like Pizzagate.

Pizzagate was a conspiracy theory that exploded online during the 2016 U.S. presidential election, alleging that a child sex-trafficking ring involving prominent Democratic officials was being run out of a Washington, D.C., pizzeria called Comet Ping Pong.

The theory grew out of hacked and leaked emails from John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, which conspiracy-minded users on forums and social media interpreted as containing coded references to abuse.

Despite repeated denials, the story spread rapidly across platforms like Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube.

The consequences turned from online rumor to real-world danger in December 2016, when a man armed with a rifle went to the restaurant to “investigate” the claims and fired shots inside. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Authorities declared there was no truth to the allegations and said the pizzeria had no connection to any trafficking operation. Pizzagate has since become a textbook example of how conspiracy theories can take on a life all their own via social media and political polarization.

All these years later, the story still hasn’t completely died off, due to critics who mock its existence and true believers who still feel that something sinister is afoot.

And the Jeffrey Epstein files appear poised to rip open this sealed pizza box anew.

As the Department of Justice has unsealed troves of documents related to the convicted sex offender, it has given countless intrepid minds the chance to dig into the files themselves.

And for the more conspiratorial-minded, a simple keyword search for “pizza” in the search bar yielded plenty of food for thought.

There are 849 results within the Epstein files when you search specifically for “pizza” — and even more details when you dig in deeper.

Reporter Tom Elliott is one such investigative mind. He uncovered an odd fascination for discussing pizza among Epstein and “his friends.”

Senior Norwegian diplomat resigns after being linked to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein

A senior Norwegian diplomat has resigned after an investigation was launched into her ties to late US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein

Mona Juul, the Scandinavian nation’s ambassador to Jordan and Iraq, is among several high-profile Norwegian figures swept up in the latest Epstein file release.

The senior diplomat, who played a key role in the secret Israeli-Palestinian negotiations which led to the Oslo Accords of the early 1990s, was temporarily suspended on Monday pending an investigation into her alleged links to Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking.

Epstein left around £7.4million in his will to Juul’s two children with her husband, fellow diplomat and Oslo talks broker Terje Rod-Larsen, according to Norwegian media.

‘This is a correct and necessary decision. Juul’s contact with the convicted abuser Epstein has shown a serious lapse in judgement,’ foreign minister Espen Barth Eide said in a statement.

Eide said that the ministry would continue to hold talks with Juul throughout the review to determine the extent of their dealings.

‘It is important to understand the scope of the contact she, as an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has had with Epstein,’ he said.

He added that the Jordan embassy would be led by the deputy ambassador until a new envoy is appointed.

Former Prince Andrew’s NINE-DAY Visit to Epstein’s NY Townhouse in 2010 Revealed in Its ‘Sordid Truth’

Andrew lied to the BBC and the British public about his stay at the late pedophile’s house.

To Emily Maitlis, in his ‘train crash’ BBC interview, Andrew said he visited Jeffrey Epstein in 2010 solely to ‘honorably’ tell him their friendship was over.

That was far from the truth.

Girls coming ‘after school’ and ‘$5,000 cash floats’ – his visit to Epstein’s New York mansion is finally revealed.

Daily Mail reported:

“He suggested he had stayed ‘four days’, but in truth Andrew enjoyed the pedophile’s hospitality for nine days, with the scheming financier organizing a dizzying timetable of meetings and parties – starting with a ‘facial’ cosmetic treat, the Daily Mail’s analysis of the latest cache of emails reveals. Epstein even told Andrew he had arranged ‘a car and driver for your use for the week’.”

PREDICTABLE: After British Ambassador’s Connections to Epstein Unearthed, Christopher Steele Blames Russia

This is no surprise.  After the British Ambassador was found connected to Jeffrey Epstein, Christopher Steele came out and blamed Russia.

These people have no shame.

We learned last week that pedophile Jeffrey Epstein had a very close relationship with the Rothschilds.

After it became clear that Epstein was connected to the Brits and the Rothschilds, the man behind the Russia collusion lie pulled out his old playbook and claimed that Epstein was connected to the Russians.

Christopher Steele attempted to draw attention to the bigger picture behind the Epstein files, that a kompromat operation was hatched between Russian intelligence and Jeffrey Epstein. This alleged blackmail scheme was plotted solely to target some of the well-known Western elites…

…Speaking with Times Radio, Steele mentioned, “My understanding from sources in America is that they have tracked Epstein’s activities and operations back to the 1970s, as far back as that.” Steele’s U.S. sources claim that Epstein was likely recruited by Russia after his involvement with organized crime in Brighton Beach, New York.

At this point who would ever believe any Steele accusations concerning Russia?

In July, Susan Kokinda from Promethean Action delved into the deeper implications of Jeffrey Epstein’s ties with influential figures like British Ambassador Lord Peter Mandelson and the underlying financial schemes perpetuated by the elite.  This was before these recent Epstein files were released.

Rape allegation against ex-Barclays CEO Jes Staley was raised in US Epstein investigation

US prosecutors reviewed allegations of rape and bodily harm against the former Barclays boss and former JP Morgan banker Jes Staley, according to newly unsealed files linked to the child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Multiple documents in the Epstein files cite serious allegations of sexual misconduct against Staley, including that he forced a woman to touch his genitals during a massage before raping her, and left “bloody marks” on the arms of a woman he called “tinkerbell”.

The bulk of the allegations are revealed in what appears to be a confidential 86-page internal memo produced by prosecutors and addressed to Geoffrey S Berman, then US Attorney for the Southern District of New York. The memo, titled “Investigation into Potential Co-Conspirators of Jeffrey Epstein” and dated 19 December 2019, summarised interviews with victims, witnesses and subjects of its investigation.

There is no evidence that prosecutors decided to pursue the allegations. Staley, who has previously denied any wrongdoing, did not respond to requests for comment made over several months, either directly or via his lawyers. He has never been charged with a crime related to the allegations.

During a UK court hearing in 2025, Staley admitted to having sex with a member of Epstein’s staff in New York, but agreed with a lawyer during cross-examination that he would describe the intercourse as “consensual”.

The memo refers to one woman’s recollection of events that allegedly occurred “in or around 2011 or 2012”. It says: “Epstein instructed [redacted] to provide a massage to Jes Staley in Epstein’s New York residence. [Redacted] attempted to give him an ordinary massage, but he forced [redacted] to touch his genitals and then raped [redacted].

“Afterwards, [redacted] complained to Epstein, who said he left it to [redacted] and Staley to decide whether to engage in sex. After this incident, [redacted] began to distance herself from Epstein.”

This allegation was included in a section labelled: “Interviews of Victims Who Were Abused As Adults”.

BIG FISH: Head of Rothschild Swiss Bank and the CEO of World Economic Forum Caught in the Epstein Files, Showing the Astonishing Reach of Late Pedophile Among the Super Elites

Epstein and the planet overlords.

For years, it’s been known how late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein had valuable contacts not only among politicians and royal family members, but also among the real planet overlords, the members of the super elite whose name is not even known to the population at large.

Now, with the new 3-million-plus documents released by the US DOJ, the extent to which Epstein was capable of articulating with these powerful figures is being laid bare.

To begin with, we have none less than Ariane de Rothschild, head of the family-owned Edmond de Rothschild Swiss private bank. Her name appears more than 4,400 times in the Justice Department’s online search.

The member of the über powerful family has been found to have exchanged dozens of emails with the disgraced financier, having also agreed to multiple meetings during a period of about five years before his 2019 arrest and jailing.

Epstein files reveal deeper ties to scientists than previously known

Newly released files from the investigation of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein reveal that his ties to the scientific community were deeper than previously known.

Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 after being arrested and charged with sex trafficking, was a wealthy financier who invested millions in science projects and socialized with researchers. It was already known that, after Epstein’s initial conviction for sex crimes in 2008, some scientists continued to associate with and take money from him, prompting fallout at top research institutions. For instance, Epstein gave US$800,000 to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, which led two scientists to resign and the university to suspend another.

But last Friday’s release of more than three million files linked to Epstein — including e-mails, photographs and financial documents — has unveiled even more scientists in his orbit. Mentions of the researchers do not indicate wrongdoing or involvement in Epstein’s criminal activity, but they do shed light on how deeply he was involved in some of the science he funded. This is the largest batch of files made public by the US Department of Justice since Congress passed the Epstein Transparency Act late last year, mandating that the federal government release all documents pertaining to the financier.

Science stars

The files include new information about interactions between Epstein and scientists whose links to him were already known. For example, the documents contain correspondence from theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss, whose science-outreach organization received $250,000 from Epstein. “I thought we agreed no comment !!!!!,” Epstein wrote in 2018, as Krauss responded to media inquiries about an investigation of sexual misconduct that led to Krauss’s ousting from Arizona State University in Tempe.

Krauss explained his interaction with Epstein in an e-mail to Nature: “I sought out advice from essentially everyone I knew when false allegations about me were circulated.” He added that he had no knowledge of the “horrendous crimes” — the sex trafficking — that Epstein was later accused of. “I was as shocked as the rest of the world when he was arrested.”

Andrew’s ex-girlfriend insists she ‘doesn’t believe Jeffrey Epstein is dead’ and that paedophile is alive in ‘Israel’

Lady Victoria Hervey told LBC’s Tom Swarbrick that she believes it’s a “possibility” that Epstein could be alive somewhere.

“I don’t even think Jeffrey Epstein’s dead anymore, to be honest,” she told Tom, who pressed the former socialite on her suggestion – and to clarify her point.

“No, I don’t,” she insisted, doubling down on her assertion that the convicted paedophile was alive – and possibly in Israel.

The paedophile’s death in 2019 has long been the source of conspiracy theories online, with many believing that he didn’t die by suicide.

Andrew continues to maintain his innocence and has long denied any of the allegations against him.

An anonymous post shared on 4Chan shortly before Epstein’s death was publicly announced claimed that he had been “switched out” and implied that he had been taken away by a “trip van”. The poster said that they were a guard at the prison.

The former prince’s ex-girlfriend refers to an email released in the latest tranche of Epstein files that names the poster and confirms that it was a prison guard.

Lady Hervey told Tom Swarbrick: “I think, just, I’d seen one of those emails, one of the ones that ended up in the files, and I think that prison guard needs to be interviewed. The one that he said he saw the bodies being switched out.”

When pressed by Tom Swarbrick on where he could be, she said: “Israel”.

Lady Hervey is named in the Epstein files 23 times.

She told Tom Swarbrick that if you weren’t named in the Epstein files, then that would be an “insult” and you were “a bit of a loser”.

CBS News Pulls ’60 Minutes’ Episode After Contributor Appears in Epstein Files

It was always presumed that the fallout from the unsealing of the Jeffrey Epstein files would hit some pretty big names.

Those presumptions turned out to be rather accurate.

Now, apart from just former first couples, CBS News’ flagship program, “60 Minutes,” has become the latest entity to be unceremoniously caught up in the Epstein scandal.

Epstein was a wealthy but disgraced sex offender who had powerful friends and allegedly ran an underage sex trafficking ring to help satiate those friends.

He died in 2019 before any definitive answers could be pulled out of him.

In lieu of those answers, however, public attention recently turned to the troves of sealed government documents related to Epstein.

That hot-button issue eventually boiled over into the Congressional “Epstein Files Transparency Act,” which mandated that the Department of Justice release all the files in a searchable and downloadable format.

The unsealing of these documents has connected some major figures to Epstein — beyond just suspicion and hearsay — such as billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates, former President Bill Clinton, and countless others.

(Much to the chagrin of his loudest critics, President Donald Trump’s association with Epstein isn’t nearly as sordid as some of the other big names mentioned.)

And now these documents have connected a new CBS News contributor to the salacious situation — over 1,700 times.
