House GOP Launches Probe of China-Based Billionaire Over Potential Link to LA Riots

House Republicans on Friday launched an investigation into a China-based billionaire allegedly funding protest groups in the United States, including one reportedly linked to riots against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Los Angeles.

The probe targets Neville Roy Singham, a Chicago-born businessman and self-described socialist. He lives in Shanghai with his wife, Jodie Evans, a prominent social justice activist and co-founder of advocacy group Code Pink.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) said the House Oversight committee will be calling Singham to testify regarding the funding of what she described as “a communist group” tied to both the Los Angeles riots and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

“If he refuses to appear, he will be subpoenaed, and if he ignores that, he will be referred to the DOJ for prosecution,” Luna wrote in a post on social media platform X.

In a letter to Singham, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Luna cited his alleged financial backing of far-left groups linked to recent unrest, including violence in anti-Israel demonstrations and the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles.

Representatives of Singham could not immediately be reached for comment.

Among the groups named is the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a Marxist political organization that has fielded presidential candidates since 2008. PSL has been associated with an individual charged in the May 21 killing of two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C., and is reportedly a leading organizer of the anti-ICE protests.

PSL is also affiliated with the People’s Forum, a New York City–based nonprofit known for promoting radical leftist activism and hosting Marxist thinkers. In 2021, the People’s Forum described Singham as a “Marxist comrade” who sold his company to fund activist movements, indicating that the forum itself ran on donations from him.

The committee is also looking at Singham’s potential ties to the ANSWER Coalition, a far-left protest group that has organized major demonstrations against U.S. foreign policy and Israel’s military actions in Gaza following the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attacks.

Pointing to the CCP’s known doctrine of strategic subversion, the lawmakers raised concerns that these organizations may be operating to advance Beijing’s interests.

“Under General Secretary Xi [Jinping], the CCP is known for its ‘Strategy of Sowing Discord,’ which refers to efforts to make internal disputes amongst the enemy so deep that they become distracted from conflict,” Comer and Luna wrote in the letter, which was co-signed by 19 other Republican members of the committee.

“If you are, in fact, carrying out this strategy on behalf of the CCP, you may have a FARA registration obligation,” the letter continues, referencing the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires individuals acting on behalf of foreign principals to register with the U.S. Department of Justice and disclose their activities and financial ties.

“In addition, your funding and relationship with the PSL, which has been implicated in the violence and riots in Los Angeles, may violate other federal laws,” they said, before requesting that Singham hand over information that would explain his relationships with PSL, the ANSWER Coalition, and the People’s Forum.

In a separate letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi on the same matter, the committee asked the Justice Department to investigate an allegedly Singham-funded network of 19 activist groups, including Code Pink, for potential violations of FARA.

The investigation builds on concerns raised in December 2024 by then-Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who urged then-Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate whether the purportedly Singham-backed groups were sowing unrest and division on U.S. soil to advance CCP propaganda.

“The U.S. citizen, Neville Roy Singham, has reportedly funded many far-left and pro-Hamas organizations,” according to a press release from the Senate Committee on the Judiciary at the time. “These organizations appear to have a track record of parroting CCP talking points and opposing U.S. interests and, in some instances, receiving funding from CCP entities or working with CCP officials.”

That request, made in the closing days of the Biden administration, was not pursued further.

The Department of Justice did not respond to a request for comment by publication time.

Mike Benz reveals the CIA’s ‘How to Start a Riot’ guide…

The “Summer of Love” is back… yet again. Like clockwork, as the temperatures heat up, so does the chaos. We’re watching Los Angeles burn… yet again. And just like last year and the year before that, blah blah blah. None of this is organic. This is what domestic regime change looks like in America. What starts in LA spreads like wildfire across the country.

These aren’t spontaneous uprisings; they’re coordinated attacks. What we’re seeing is the rollout of a left-wing playbook.

Just like clockwork, well-funded bands of professional agitators show up on cue. They don’t have jobs. This is their job. And we all know who’s cutting the checks.

These groups descend on city after city like heat-seeking missiles, attacking cops, torching businesses, blocking roads, and fanning the flames of civil unrest. It’s a color revolution, American style.

If you’re not familiar, a color revolution is a type of regime change operation typically used by the US to destabilize foreign governments under the fake banner of democracy and freedom. Think Arab Spring and the like.

The strategy involves mobilizing angry mobs, students, minorities, unions, whoever’s easiest to rile up, through a flood of NGO money, media manipulation, and staged violence.

We’ve covered plenty of stories exposing the regime’s obsession with using color revolutions to take down President Trump. We actually predicted what’s happening right now, after the New York Times, fearing another Trump victory in 2024, all but called out for a color revolution to try and stop him.

PBS Reporter Calls Rioting “Almost Festival Like”

The legacy media is still at it.

Everyone knows that for four days unhinged leftists and criminal opportunists caused anarchy in LA, rioting, attacking police and looting stores. Yet the media is still proclaiming everything is not only peaceful, but happy and joyful.

They’ve had reporters on the ground standing in front of burning cars with explosions going off around them while claiming it’s all ‘mostly peaceful’, ‘fun’, ‘joyful’, ‘pretty quiet’, ‘relatively mellow’, ‘celebratory’ and all about ‘hope and community’.

Now here’s the latest from PBS. It’s “almost festival like” while flashbangs explode right next to this moron.

Note how they always say “almost.”

It’s almost festival like, but not quite because of all the burning cars, assaults and looting.

Florida sheriff warns anti-ICE protesters ‘we will kill you’ if you so much as ‘throw a brick’

A Florida Sheriff delivered a stern warning to anyone planning protests against ICE or President Trump — threatening to respond to violence with deadly force.

“If you throw a brick, a firebomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains because we will kill you, graveyard dead. We’re not going to play,” Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said Thursday.

“If you try to mob rule a car in Brevard County, gathering around it, refusing to let the driver leave in our county, you’re most likely going to get run over and dragged across the street,” the Republican sheriff said during the immigration news conference.

“If you spit on us, you’re going to the hospital, then jail. If you hit one of us, you’re going to the hospital, jail, and most likely get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs we have here,” Ivey warned.

The sheriff’s deadly declaration comes as a slew of anti-Trump and anti-ICE protests are expected to continue across the nation this weekend.

‘No Kings’ Nationwide Protest Theme Is An Antifa Dog Whistle

Indivisible, the progressive group of political agitators with chapters across the country, doesn’t want Americans enjoying Saturday’s Washington, D.C., parade celebrating the milestone 250th birthday of the U.S. Army. The group instead wants the spotlight firmly on their political agenda: anarchy.

Indivisible was behind the May 5 “Hands off” protests at many Tesla dealerships.

Saturday’s planned protest has a new theme, “No Kings.” It is a dog whistle that calls out Antifa, according to Kyle Shideler, director and senior analyst for homeland security and counterterrorism at the Center for Security Policy.

“No Gods, no kings,” or sometimes, “No Gods, no masters,” are common anarchist or anti-fascist slogans, Shideler told The Federalist.

On the surface, Indivisible advertises for a peaceful protest. “A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action,” the Indivisible website advises. But the name of the event calls out to Antifa, practically inviting them to attend the protests and shake things up.

Antifa, short for anti-fascist, is a movement of many groups that engage in militant action against people they view as fascists.

“They have a long history of being the street muscle at protests,” Shideler said. “They are the ones who form the black blocs that are going to do the fighting with the cops and with counter protests, and their goal is to shut down people who they view as fascists.”

Indivisible people are not Antifa, Shideler said, “But they are sort of winking at the recognition that that these guys are out there and they’re going to do things that are a little bit more hardcore.”

In the Hands Off protests, Indivisible had a map of protest locations and times, many at Tesla dealerships.

Dozens Of Journalists Targeted, Shot, Detained While Covering LA Protests, Press Org Says

Shocking video and photos taken amid the ongoing immigration protests in Los Angeles show journalists and news crews being shot, detained and forced off public property by law enforcement, raising concerns of excessive force and First Amendment rights violations.

There have been more than 30 incidents of police violence against journalists as of Tuesday, including 20 injuries, at least five of which required emergency room or urgent care visits, said Adam Rose, the press rights chair with the Los Angeles Press Club, which released a statement Monday urging an end to the targeting of journalists whose work is constitutionally protected.

The list of injuries includes a freelance photojournalist requiring emergency surgery Sunday night after being shot in the leg with a three-inch piece of plastic that he believes was designed to be shot and explode above a crowd.

Graphic photos shared with HuffPost show a gaping wound in Nick Stern’s right thigh that he said has left him unable to walk or move without assistance.

“Why this device was shot at human, kind of, waist high level, I do not know. The people around me at that time was doing nothing more than waving Mexican flags,” he told HuffPost.

Stern, who said he has three decades of experience photographing public protests, including in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the George Floyd protests in 2020, expressed concern that people may die from the excessive use of force that he witnessed and experienced firsthand.

“I never thought for one moment that I’d actually have to be fearful of law enforcement during a public protest but that seems to be where the danger to journalists comes from,” he said.

CNN Proudly Brags That The Mexican flag Has Become “A Defining Symbol” Of LA Riots

CNN declared Tuesday that the Mexican flag is now “a defining symbol” of what it continues to describe as “peaceful protests” across Los Angeles.

The propaganda piece asserts that those involved are using the flag to “express solidarity with immigrants and denounce the Trump administration’s raids.”

It also proclaims that “the waving of foreign flags speaks to the generations of people from Mexico and other Latin American countries who have called the US, and particularly California, home.”

The piece quotes a UCLA professor claiming

“The flags mean their families. The flags mean their communities. It’s not about having an international invasion.”

Yeah. It kinda looked a lot like an invasion.

CNN potato Brian Stelter repeated this guff about it being a “community” thing.

ANOTHER HOAX: DHS Releases Footage of Agents Arresting “Violent Rioter who Punched a CBP Officer” After ICE Agents Falsely Accused of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Hit-and-Run, and Fleeing the Scene

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Wednesday released footage of agents arresting Christian Damian Cerno-Camacho, a Los Angeles rioter accused of punching a Border Patrol agent.

Before DHS released the footage, agents were accused by the leftist media of assaulting the driver of a vehicle with a deadly weapon and hit-and-run after ICE agents “fled the scene.” Local police apparently investigated the incident.

Newsweek reported,

Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning crash in Los Angeles’ Boyle Heights neighborhood as a possible assault with a deadly weapon involving federal agents who allegedly fled the scene, according to KABC.

Many details about the incident remained unreleased to the public as of Wednesday afternoon. Police have not confirmed which agency the involved agents represent or whether their presence in Los Angeles has anything to do with the ongoing protests over President Donald Trump‘s immigration policy.

The incident occurred around 10:47 a.m. local time in the 3700 block of Whittier Boulevard, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told KABC. No serious injuries were reported.

Local ABC7 parroted the narrative that ICE agents were involved in the “accident” and “fled the scene” on live TV.

Civil War 2.0?

Democrats have a long history of inciting violence. Examples abound, from starting the Civil War, to forming the KKK, to violently resisting school integration, to the Michael Brown and George Floyd riots, to the current anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles. Democrat-run cities are typically the most dangerous, poorly run environs in the U.S., and when you push the oppressor/victim narrative across the media landscape, violence gets put on the menu.

Their rhetoric ramped up during Trump 45’s administration when Democrat politicians and celebrities openly called for violence against President Trump and Republicans, even while accusing Republicans of being aggressors. And when their unhinged followers heed their suggestions, Democrats always claim to abhor violence. I heard it myself last night. I mentioned the protestors throwing bricks at federal officers, and a dinner companion said, “Well, you can only push people so far.”

Perhaps we should ask the parents of Laken RileyKate SteinleRachel Morin, and Jocelyn Nungaray how far they’ve been pushed.

The unrest in L.A. began when ICE arrested 40 individuals who were wanted on various charges. This prompted protests that quickly escalated into violence, including attacks on federal officers. One report suggested that the riots might be government-funded, pointing to ties with radical, left-wing organizations and NGOs, some of which allegedly receive taxpayer dollars. This seems plausible, as the Democrat party leadership has a historical opposition to ICE and openly supports sanctuary city policies.

Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.’s vice-presidential pick, echoed this sentiment, alleging a “CIA/Deep State” involvement in using violent migrants to target federal law enforcement, a claim that aligns with narratives of orchestrated chaos.

LA mayor Karen Bass and California governor Gavin Newsom have been labeled as “incompetent” as they remained inactive while riots persisted. This possibly suggests a tacit endorsement of the protests, perhaps as a way to challenge federal authority under a Republican administration.

FBI Arrests Driver Who Went Viral for Delivering “Bionic Shield” Face Masks to LA Rioters in Early Morning Sting

The FBI arrested the man who went viral last week for distributing what appeared to be military-grade “bionic shield” face masks to violent demonstrators in downtown Los Angeles.

“ARRESTED: Alejandro Theodoro Orellana was arrested this morning by FBI Los Angeles on an allegation of Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorders (18 USC 371) for distributing face shields to suspected rioters on Tuesday. We are moving quickly to identify and arrest those involved in organizing and/or supporting civil disorder in Los Angeles,” U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli said in a statement.

The suspect has been identified as Alejandro Orellana, an alleged member of the Brown Berets, a radical Chicano nationalist paramilitary organization with ties to far-left revolutionary groups.

The group, long known for its anti-police rhetoric and militant activism, has reportedly embedded operatives in several major U.S. cities.

On June 9, local reporter Elex Michaelson of FOX LA captured the moment protesters swarmed the trucks to grab the gear, noting, “It certainly seems like gear you’d wear if you’re preparing for conflict with police. Who is funding this?”
