Worse Than Trudeau: Canadians Should Expect Disaster With Carney In Charge

Justin Trudeau’s far-left regime in Canada has finally come to an end as the politician exits leadership in disgrace.  His legacy includes authoritarian governance during the pandemic, whereby he threw Christian church goers and pastors in prison for refusing to stop congregations.  He called for mass forced vaccinations, and he locked the bank accounts of protesters speaking out against the covid mandates.  His admin compared people donating to the cause to “terrorists”.

His socialist economic policies helped to exacerbate Canada’s inflation crisis and his open immigration policies greatly expanded the the flood of third-world foreigners, driving up housing prices, crushing the labor market and straining social services.  By most accounts, the majority of Canadians were ecstatic to see Trudeau exit the stage.

But what if they still haven’t learned their lesson?  How is that even possible?

According to recent polls for the 2025 election set for April 28th, it is likely that Canadians have very short memories or they’re gluttons for punishment.  Why?  Because Mark Carney and the Liberal Party are projected to make considerable gains.  Carney has rebranded himself as a “centrist” in order to win public favor, but nothing could be further from the truth.  Mark Carney is, in fact, worse than Trudeau on every level.

Schumer: If Trump Disobeys Supreme Court Order ‘Extraordinary Action Will Be Necessary’

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Chris Jansing Reports” that if President Donald Trump disobeyed a Supreme Court order, “extraordinary action will be necessary.”

Jansing said, “The Supreme Court said the administration must facilitate the return of Kilmer Abrego Garcia, who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador. That has not happened. Are we at the point, Senator, where you feel extraordinary action is warranted?”

Schumer said, “Look, the case will be back to the Supreme Court, they sent it down to the lower court judge. But if the president disobeys a Supreme Court order, extraordinary action will be necessary. We’ve never had that in the Republic before, in the kind of way that the president is doing it. And again, he doesn’t believe in democracy. He doesn’t believe there should be diversity of opinion. He doesn’t believe in due process. You can’t pick up someone off the streets and send them somewhere if you don’t have evidence, if you haven’t presented evidence against them, the country, the democracy is at risk.”

From ‘Trump is Hitler’ to dark woke?

The good news is that the Democrats have finally figured out that calling Trump “Hitler” is a loser. The bad news is that they are switching to “dark woke,” a new strategy based on throwing everything they have at the President. Here it goes:

“Resistance” Democrats are starting to abandon civil politics in favor of a new provocative and combative “dark woke,” a new report says.

The term “dark woke” refers to an online meme that gained popularity in January amid President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Under the “#darkwoke” tag, left-leaning X users share jokes and memes delighting in or wishing for the suffering of Trump supporters.

Though the term is largely an online phenomenon, some members of the Democratic Party are beginning to see some benefits to the “crass” and “rude” attitude.

“Republicans have essentially put Democrats in a respectability prison,” Bhavik Lathia, a communications consultant and former digital director for the Wisconsin Democratic Party, told the New York Times on Monday. “There is an extreme imbalance in strategy that allows Republicans to say stuff that really grabs voters’ attention, where we’re stuck saying boring pablum. I see this as a strategic shift within Democratic messaging — I’m a big fan of ‘dark woke.’”

So it’s dark woke now! It looks like the face of this new movement is Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a lady who represents the one district in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that everybody wants to move out of. Just take a car ride around the district, and tell me if that’s where you want to settle down. Texas is leading the nation in relocations, but no one is looking for a property in that district.

The Democrats think that “dark woke” will make it easier for them to communicate with young people and recover all those votes that they used to count on election day.

Beneath the Surface: Is the Trump-Netanyahu ‘Unthinkable’ About to Erupt?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent visit to Washington was no ordinary trip. The consensus among Israeli analysts, barring a few remaining loyalists, is that Netanyahu was not invited but, rather, summoned by US President Donald Trump.

All evidence supports this assertion. Netanyahu rarely travels to the US without extensive Israeli media fanfare, leveraging his touted relationships with various US administrations as a “hasbara” opportunity to reinforce his image as Israel’s strongman.

This time, there was no room for such campaigns. Netanyahu was informed of Trump’s summons while on an official trip to Hungary. There, he was received by Hungarian President Viktor Orbán with exaggerated diplomatic accolades, signaling defiance against international condemnation of Netanyahu, an accused war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC), and portraying him as anything but an isolated leader of an increasingly pariah state.

The capstone of Netanyahu’s short-lived Hungarian victory lap was Orbán’s announcement of Hungary’s withdrawal from the ICC, a move with profoundly unsettling implications.

It would have been convenient for Netanyahu to use his Washington visit to deflect from his failed war in Gaza and internal strife in Israel. However, as the Arabic saying goes, “the wind often blows contrary to the ship’s desires.”

The notion that Netanyahu was summoned, not invited, is corroborated by Israeli media reports that he attempted to postpone the visit under various pretexts. He failed, ultimately flying to Washington on the date determined by the White House. Initially, reports circulated that no press conference would be held, denying Netanyahu the platform to tout Washington’s unwavering support for his military actions and to expound on the “special relationship” between the two countries.

A press conference was held, though it was largely dominated by Trump’s contradictory messages and typical rhetoric. Netanyahu spoke briefly, attempting to project the same confident body language observed during his previous Washington visit, where he sat with an erect posture and spread out his legs, as if in command. But this time, his body language betrayed him; his eyes shifted nervously, and he appeared stiff and surprised, particularly when Trump announced that the US and Iran would begin direct talks in Oman soon.

Trump also mentioned the need to end the war in Gaza, but the Iran announcement clearly shocked Netanyahu. He desperately tried to align his discourse with Trump’s, referencing Libya’s disarmament under Muammar Gaddafi. But that was never part of Israel’s official regional plan. Israel had consistently advocated for US military intervention against Iran, despite the certainty that such a war would destabilize the entire region, potentially drawing the US into a conflict far more protracted and devastating than the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries Openly Disses Strategy of DNC Vice Chair David Hogg

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries appeared on ABC News over the weekend and openly defied the recently announced strategy of DNC vice chair David Hogg, who is planning to primary members of his own party.

This is the second time in a week that Hogg has been called out by a high level Democrat. Dem strategist James Carville called David Hogg ‘a contemptible little twerp’ during a recent appearance on NewsNation.

The DNC made a huge mistake in appointing Hogg as vice chair. He is an activist. He has zero experience in getting people elected to office.

The New York Post reports:

Dem Jeffries brushes aside DNC big David Hogg’s primary plan, vows to stand by incumbents

Dem House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries on Sunday rejected a Democratic National Committee big’s controversial plan to fund primary challenges against passive party members in safe districts.

Jeffries of New York instead touted his intent to back all House Democratic incumbents across the country in the 2026 cycle and push the party to focus on knocking off Republicans.

“I look forward to standing behind every single Democratic incumbent, from the most progressive to the most centrist and all points in between,” Jeffries told ABC News’ “This Week” when asked about the opposing stance by Democratic National Committee Vice Chairman David Hogg.

“They’re working hard in their communities, rising to the occasion,” Jeffries said of Dem incumbents.

Last week, Hogg, who has been serving as one of three DNC vice chairs since February, announced that his organization, “Leaders We Deserve,” will pump out $20 million to challenge low-key House Dem incumbents in favor of more combative contenders.

As AOC Flies Around the Country on Her ‘Fight Oligarchy’ Tour, Residents of Her Imploding District Are Begging Kash Patel for Help

While AOC is flying first class around the country with Bernie Sanders to yell about their hatred for rich people, her district is falling apart. People there are so desperate for help that they’re reaching out to FBI Director Kash Patel.

This has always been AOC’s weakest point. She has been in office for years now and no one could point to something, anything that she has done to help the people she was elected to represent.

It’s the same playbook as Elizabeth Warren. They get elected to a local office and then use it to promote themselves on a national level. The local office is just used as a springboard to their real ambitions.

FOX News reports:

Leaders in AOC’s ‘Red Light’ district call on Kash Patel to crush ‘worsening’ gang crime and prostitution

As Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., privately jets across the nation for her “Fighting Oligarchy” tour, residents in her Queens constituency have been calling on the FBI and the DEA to help them crack down on the illegal sex workers and drug dealers that they say have turned their neighborhood into a festering “gangland.”

Last week, local leaders, including a former Democrat state senator, wrote to FBI Director Kash Patel urging him to unleash agents to quell the raging problem along Roosevelt Avenue – a 2-mile commercial strip which has been likened to both a Third World Country and a Red Light district – where scantily-clad women on sidewalks soliciting sex is commonplace.

They also claim the ruthless 18th Street Gang has taken over illegal operations there, filling the void of other gangs like with Tren de Aragua after a massive police operation saw hundreds of people arrested.

Local leaders say the police actions haven’t helped:

“The NYPD’s Operation Restore Roosevelt did lead to arrests, but our street sources say the gangs replaced their foot soldiers within days,” said the advocates, who include former Democrat state Senator Hiram Monserrate.

“The money never stopped moving, the dance floors stayed open, and the prostitutes came back in full force. This isn’t just a Queens problem, it’s a blueprint for how gangs, cartels, and traffickers can take over a community in plain sight.”

AOC has no interest in doing the actual job she was elected to do. That has been clear since the moment she took office. She has much bigger aspirations and the people of her district are nothing more than a stepping stone.

Media Working Overtime to Distort the Politics of Alleged Arsonist Who Burned Pennsylvania Governor’s Mansion

Cody Balmer, the suspect who allegedly burned the Pennsylvania governor’s mansion, while Governor Josh Shapiro and his family were in it, is now known to be a far left socialist and BLM supporter.

That is not how the media is reporting on him.

A memo must have gone out because at least two liberal media outlets are emphasizing the fact that Balmer was ‘critical of the Democrats.’

What might a person infer from that last part? That he’s a right winger? Is that why they media is doing this? Or are they trying to imply that Democrats are dealing with threats just like Republicans? Either way, it’s completely dishonest.

See this report from ABC News (emphasis is ours):

Arson at Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro’s residence was ‘domestic terrorism’: Fire chief

Cody Balmer, who is suspected of starting a fire on Sunday at Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro’s residence, was denied bail at his arraignment on Monday.

Balmer — a mechanic who had previously expressed disdain for Democrats on social media — was arrested in connection with the fire early Sunday, sources familiar with the suspected arsonist told ABC News.

Way down at the bottom of the article is this part:

“The attacker was not a fan of Trump I understand just from what I’ve read and from what I’ve been told,” said Trump, adding that he was not informed of the motive in the incident. “The attacker basically wasn’t a fan of anybody’s. Probably just a whack job. And certainly a thing like that cannot be allowed to happen.”

Sources familiar with Balmer said his public grievances with the Democratic party were primarily related to financial issues.

Absolutely nowhere does the article describe the suspect as left or far left.

Over at CNN, same thing. This guy expressed disdain for Democrats.

Senator Adam Schiff: I Will Investigate to Determine If Members of the White House Were Involved in Insider Trading Before Trump’s Tariff Announcement

Moonbat Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) has gone completely crazy after President Trump proved once again why it’s unwise to doubt him about the art of the deal.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Cassandra MacDonald reported, Trump today announced an immediate tariff increase on China to 125%. He also granted a 90-day pause and tariff reduction to 10% for over 75 other countries.

Trump announced the tariff change on Truth Social, writing that it was due to China’s “lack of respect for the World’s Markets.”

An angry Schiff lashed out a few hours after Trump announced his new tariff policy. After receiving a question from a leftist ‘reporter’ regarding whether members of the White House were benefiting from “market fluctuations,” Schiff vowed to investigate whether Trump’s White House officials were involved in insider trading before Trump announced his new tariff policy.

“I’m writing to the White House to demand who knew in advance the president was going to flip-flop on tariffs and if people are cashing in,” Schiff said. “There is just all too much opportunity for people in the White House and the administration to be insider trading, and you can’t put it past them for a minute.”

“So we’re gonna try to find out,” he added.

DNC Launches ‘People’s Cabinet’ to Fight Trump Administration

The National Democratic Party has launched a new initiative called the “People’s Cabinet” to counter the Trump administration.

Ken Martin, chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), said the goal is to “cut through the lies” and speak directly to the American people.

“I’ve been traveling across the country nonstop since I started this job, and what I hear over and over is this: Americans want us to challenge Trump’s lies, offer a better alternative,” Martin said in a video statement on April 4.

According to Martin, the People’s Cabinet will be filled with experts, national and local leaders, and everyday Americans who will “fight back” against President Donald Trump’s agenda. The Cabinet will conduct media briefings and host town halls across the country.

Democrats have been battling Republicans who gained control of the U.S. Senate, House, and presidency in the 2024 election. The GOP trifecta paved the way for Trump to shore up the congressional support needed to successfully implement his agenda.

Democrat lawmakers have publicly opposed Trump’s policies, including major cost-cutting by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The advisory panel, led by SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has targeted government waste and fraud, leading to cuts in the federal workforce and the elimination of many government contracts.

Democrats launching ‘war room’ to push back against Trump

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced Monday it’s launching a “war room” in an effort to streamline party messaging and expand its rapid response operation, as Democrats search for new ways to counter President Trump.

The war room operation will take a “walls down” approach between DNC departments focused on messaging, research and mobilization operations, so the party can “take a more aggressive posture with rapid response,” according to the DNC.

Party officials outlined four primary goals of the new operation: to expand Democratic reach into “new information spaces”; to engage in “aggressive daily messaging to counter the Trump administration”; to use “creative opposition tactics” to counter GOP efforts; and to “combat the lies from the right” from a new vertical.

DNC Chair Ken Martin said the war room will “be updating people in real time and around the clock” to counter the Trump administration’s “reckless agenda.”

“While Donald Trump continues to push an agenda that raises costs, destroys jobs, and ruins lives, he also continues to lie, spin, and cheat his way out of accountability,” Martin said in a statement. “And the DNC is doubling down on its efforts to provide the American people with real facts and accurate information about the impact of his policies.”
